Last weekend, we decided to explore Burlington, especially the Village Square, because it is an arquiectual design. A beautiful hidden Gem. We love it. Pettite and classic boutiques. Specialty stores, restaurants. We tried the pizza at "Son of a peach" it was very good, and we had leftovers for lunch. May be a bit more salad selection. It was worth the drive. Visit before Xmas. You may be happily surprise. We will definitely be back.

A hidden gem in Burlington. It's a quaint little village made of bricks where there are restaurants, cafe, photo studio, salons and aesthetic clinics too. A place that's nice to spend the day leisurely with family or friends or even just by yourself. If you're in the area, a place that's worth stopping by and exploring.

Probably one of the most beautiful places I have been to! The entire place including the riverside made me feel like i was in another country, and really made me wish I lived in this neighbourhood/city.

I go to Village Square to visit the Vape Nation store. Parking is limited, but during the day and after 6 pm you can normally find most accessible. Area is safely lit up and area is kept orderly.

Beautiful place, it must have more different coffee shops and restaurants, there are a lot of offices

Benedict Eatery is fantastic. Very fresh food, fantastic service and quick! Must try the French toast.

Went to In to the blu. What a great experience. To much to write about. Read there it on there website.
16 December 2022 16:38
The village square is adorable, it has an olde English vibe and is a little bit romantic. I sometimes wish there were little events happening more often.

Really enjoyed our visit to Village Square. Reminded me of small European villages with its cute boutique shops.
21 November 2022 2:12
Paradiso, my husband's favourite restaurant, did not disappoint. Following 10 years overseas we were delighted by the exceptional customer service provided by our server. The quality of the food, preparation, presentation and deliciousness were greatly appreciated - kind thanks to our chef (s). Very nice to return to Burlington's bounty of tastes. Highly recommend.

This location is simply beautiful. Very well organized shops and eateries are the attractions. There are a number of photography locations and one love to be in it. Lovely place in the Downtown Burlington.
30 October 2022 21:30
Very picturesque, to the extent that people are constantly taking pictures Infront of the UK telephone box. Great restaurants in this square, the jewel being Rayhoon!
18 October 2022 17:14
Quaint, cobblestone space full of little shops and small businesses. Come for a cupcake, stay for the TikTok dances and engagement photoshoots in the alleyway.
20 September 2022 18:31
Very nice village square if you are downtown and want to walk through an antique little square. They have some great restaurants and stores throughout it and super pretty at night. Seen tons of people use this area for pictures.
If you are new to Burlington you should definitely check out the village square.
02 September 2022 11:58
Beautiful tiny little square. Great place to take pictures and nice restaurants around the square. I think more shops in the centre of the square can be a plus point but still a lot of restaurant options all around the square. Beautiful waterfront walk just by the corner. Has a chic ambience!

July 9th car show, Burlington. Lots of cars, old, new, Ev, with super and hyper cars. Great turn out, with close proximity parking at no cost. Even able to sit and take pictures in some of them. Thanks to those that helped make it a great event.

Very quaint setting. Lola's coffee is a great spot. The guys at the cigar shop are very helpful.
09 June 2022 2:44
I love the atmosphere but there really needs to be more shops here when you walk around. It creates the illusion of a small European market but then when you go in there's nothing to do.
27 May 2022 16:53
This is a needle spot for a walk and they're an awful lot of interesting restaurants. We had a pretty good pizza and perhaps we'll go back and try some of the other places.
09 May 2022 13:26
So many shops. So trendy a must see attraction in Burlington. Then visit all the nearby construction sites. Burlington you've outdone yourselves.

Many nice restaurants and free parking on the weekends make it a go to spot to visit in Burlington
26 April 2022 13:21
If you come to Burlington, you should definitely stop by here and smell the history. It's beautiful and nostalgic.
09 February 2022 1:16
Such a cute hidden little gem! Magical and festive ambience. Too bad the wind shut down the Christmas market but still nice shops to explore. Great place to spend time in for to get into the holiday spirit.
30 January 2022 5:01
A very calm and small street with some super amazing local shops. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Burlington lake shore
03 January 2022 12:07
This place reminds me of old European alleys and especially the Reyhoon restaurant that serves Persian cuisine is amazing
18 December 2021 13:26
A little piece of Europe in Burlington and so close to Lakeshore. Lovely plaza, especially Lola Choco Bar!
08 September 2021 4:04
Check out Tamp. They got me started on my obsession with good coffee. Village Cigar is the best cigar shop you could hope for. The pizza joint is expensive but you'll be glad you did it, trust me. Lots of other great places too
05 September 2021 7:15
Burlington's Village Square combines a historical ambience with an enchanting, chic feel. It's array of fabulous restaurants, shops, boutiques and services makes it an absolute must-see.
30 August 2021 16:29
Most of the shops are closed during covid. A handful of them hve opened some space to allow patio dining. Other than that pretty much deserted lanes where one can wander around and take a few snaps to get a pseudo European city like feel.
30 August 2021 16:18
Old school town village feel. Great to walk around and enjoy the coffee and treats. Parking available. Sadly lots of businesses are closed. Lcbo and tamp coffee are here and it's close to Brant Street and even the waterfront.
22 August 2021 5:18
Great little area. A must check out spot in Burlington.the pizza at the one place looked amazing. Lots of neat little shops.can't wait to come back on a less rainy day.
01 August 2021 16:05
So quaint. It was like being teleported to Europe. Very cute, it has options to eat and some shopping. Took a lot of pictures and tricked people into thinking I was in France or something.
29 July 2021 3:03
One of my favourite places in Burlington and it was good to see life in it once again. Great restaurants with patios and a new ice cream sweet shop.
03 May 2020 3:13
Village square is all about shopping and different stores. It’s different from usual shopping mall because it’s designed in way that feels like village town and it’s near to Burlington water front
03 April 2020 22:13
Wish they would make this more of a bar/patio scene cuz it would be pretty amazing. But still a very cool spot with some good restaurants
26 March 2020 9:14
Their pizzas and food are great but service is a little slow, wine list needs some updating.
Cutesy little place though. If I have a lot of.time on my hand definitely will visit again
26 March 2020 4:51
Service was a little slow but good was excellent and large helpings. Waitress was very courteous
25 March 2020 13:43
Interesting place in the heart of the city with varied business/shops including cafes. Enjoyed our visit here.
24 February 2020 23:19
Ate at Paradiso. Very good Italian and fusion cuisine. Been several times and haven't been disappointed in either the food or service. The mussels are fabulous.
20 December 2019 11:17
Love the layout of this mall. A pleasant stroll through the shops actually seems a village on to itself!
09 December 2019 0:24
Super cute little village with different shops and services. Also a few great restaurants and patios. A must wander when visiting Burlingtons waterfront.
17 November 2019 10:58
I really like the square but it feels a lot like a lost opportunity. I wish there were more interesting shops here. There are some good places, but there is room for far more.
05 November 2019 23:21
Love visiting this space. Parking is always a bag but my stop at The VCC Village Cigar Company makes it all worth it
09 October 2019 11:03
A great spot in Downtown Burlington for shopping and dining. Supporting local is an added bonus.
29 September 2019 23:22
This is a truly amazing place. It seems unknown to people in Toronto but I definitely like it and will visit more often. It is set up like an European village with its narrow alleys and cobblestones. There are many restaurants, specialty shops and services. It can be considered an outdoor mall.

It is located near the up-and-coming waterfront area in Burlington, which has so many restaurants and an excellent boardwalk and playground and so many condos being built.

The decor of each building has an old European look. The closest equivalent in Toronto is The Distillery District but Village Square is smaller and butter implemented in my opinion. It was a busy place on a Saturday night with most of the restaurants filled. There are little nooks and crannies are that very photographic. There is even a musician to entertain people.
26 September 2019 6:38
Rent here must be expensive but the food, the people, the vibes are all chilled out and ready to serve. Multiple restaurants to choose from. Cigars to smoke after getting your beard trimmed so you can be more manly. Coffee to hype you up for the walk around the beautiful brick shops. Great place to stop and explore!
07 September 2019 3:35
So many things to do, see, and eat in the Village Square by the waterfront. Thanks for introducing Second Saturdays in the Square with BurlingtonMADE artisan markets too - brings a lot of life and gets more people out and about during the summer season!
03 June 2019 15:24
One of the best corners of the downtown: a small plaza that is a lovely reminder of the old world. Filled with tiny cozy eating places, and almost bursting in bloom right now, you have not truly been to Burlington until you visit The Village!
17 February 2019 9:41
I love wandering through the village square, exploring the unique alleyways and storefronts. It reminds me of a quaint little European town.
06 February 2019 19:04
Decent little amount of shops and restaurants, a good little spot to go for a stroll with your lady or doggers. You could even take your doggers for a nice makeover a the little dog grooming salon.
18 January 2019 2:57
Must see, too many cute boutique shops! Styled, Rayhoon Persian eatery and browsbae microblading brow bae jist a few steps down the street!
10 January 2019 16:05
Ahh the village square smoke free now since marijuana became legal in Ontario don't judge supprt evolving legislature

I used to love riding my bike to Village Square when I was a kid and I lived in Burlington. I had a wonderful day coming down to the food truck festival with my toddler. We drove by my two houses, the place I used to go swimming, the library, Spencer Smith Park, and of course walking around Village Square. I love the cobblestone walkway. It's just so quaint and beautifully done. I do wish there were a few more shops however. When I was younger I remember a gift shop being there but it is no longer there. Definitely recommend spending a day downtown Burlington. Preferably on a nice summer day and take a nice walk around
