I have been visiting this place for last 6 months and I have never ever been disappointed, love the spread of South Indian snacks they have and variety of meals they offer. Great take out place when you are out of time or you just need to munch a light snack. Always served fresh and kudos to the staff behind the counter.
Price Tag for almost everything is almost unbeatable.

Tried veg rolls (not spring rolls) from here; really liked it. Nicely prepared with perfect taste!

All South Indian veg food items like idli sambhar, medu vadas, lemon rice, curd rice etc one can take out.

Earlier I visited so, many times but bad experience this time order for Dosa, they are worst Dosa and selling water instead of coconut chutney and $ 1.5 charged, sorry that’s there Buisness to make people fool and how people are crazy and tasteless about food.

Sri Lankan Tamil/Sinhala and South Indian pure vegetarian takeout restaurant at reasonable price. They have been in the market for quiet sometimes. Main dishes on the menu includes Dosai, Idli, Roti, Idiyappam, Puddu, Thali and much more. Short eats are freshly refilled and also at very reasonable price compare to other restaurants inthe area.

Good customer service, place was maintained very clean and food was tasty, and meets budget, and that too it being a pure Vegetarian serving snacks, South Indian food. Took a custom bulk order from here for an event at home, the request was packaged well and hot, and items that i took served right number of people as they had mentioned while booking.

Great vegetarian South Indian meals. I ordered catering for a Pooja and they provided amazing food which was not only great quantity but delicious. They accommodated some of my request for no onion in some dishes too. Only thing wish I knew was they want us to call before we leave to pick up so that they pack n keep ready, as I thought they would do it once we fix the time. But the food was worth it!

Today I bought masala dosa from this place and had it right there in my car the sambar served was as cold as pop and the dosa was not crisp at all - it was really soggy. I thought that I would eat authentic South indian today but this is not worth!

Okay, so we've been coming to this place for about four years now and it hasn't disappointed us ever.
Have tried so many things - Upma, Idli, Medu Vada, Dal Vada, Stuffed Roti, Onion Pakoda/Bhajji, Dosa, Coconut stuffed Roti, Vermicelli and so many other things. Very humble and homely food. And they've been consistent since years.
While we don't live in GTA anymore, we make sure we visit Vinayagar Vilas everytime we're in town.
Great work done by the folks here. It's more than value for money.

Great place for value-for-money food. It doesn't have any seating area - just takeaway. However, the quality of food vs the price is a great deal. I loved their upma, idli and vada in particular. The food may not be hot always but still tastes great.
There are other Indian (particularly South Indian) dry snacks available at this place. I've never tried them but should be good.
There is good amount of parking outside the place which is shared by all the shops in the plaza. Generally, it is available though.

Food was so cold and tasted yukk. It was not fresh at all. I wasted my 30$ on this type of food.

They're percent vegetarian. I love that, and they maintained their food quality. It was always good and still good.

Have not tried much but dosa here has real authentic taste.
Specially with dry masala instead of coconut chutny.
Someone brought it for me months ago and my family loved it and we tried it second time.
Will go again to buy dosa.

Absolutely loved the place. Authentic South Indian food and they have got a lot of variety. So there are a lot of options to choose from.

Recent rate increase is not OK. For 2 small vada, $1, For 3 very small samosa, $1.25. I think the price increase is un-reasonable.

I would love to give Zero stars if I can. AVOID, food is really bland and pretty gross. Not sure why there is so much love for the place. Service was also very average. Left feeling very disappointed. The food was not very good quality and was overpriced. On top of that, there was dirt on top of the food and when we went to pay, the owner was having a phone conversation the entire time while at the counter and we had to wait until another person who worked there noticed this in order for us to pay for the food. It was overall a very bad experience. They were allowing more than 3 customers in when it clearly states 3. ZERO STARS, VERY UNHYGIENIC, VERY NASTY

I gave them 2 stars because their meduvadas were fresh and also their prices are cheap. Unfortunately they did not have sambhar so could not taste it. Also got some cutlets which was below average.

One thing you should never buy from there is Pasta (Not fresh at all). Just wanna let you know that they add potato and green beans in their Pasta with some other weird vegetables. Lets forget about that but it tasted so bad like so so so bad. I had to throw after my first bite I swear.

Dont expect customer service because their prices are cheap. They talk in their own language in front of customers and will sound rude. Hope you guys work on these things in future.

This takeout serves pure vegetarian and delicious food. Clean and friendly staff. I always stop here whenever get a chance.

Very good vegetarian restaurant offering quality food in a cheaper price. I love it. They offer different varieties of snacks too. Strongly recommend this place.

The food here is amazing and also surprisingly affordable. There brown rice is amazing (for some reason) and I love their array of veg curries. So cheap, so good for me. Love it.

Loved all things we tried. Great quality and quantity. Hard to beat prices. Puttu mix and Dal vada were my favorite.

We often get the idiyappam which is good, the accompanying sodhi is so-so. I once found pasta in it. The garlic powder side is okay.

Packing is not proper and food doesn’t remain warm by the time it reaches home. Presentation is also not good.

The pure authentic traditional food deserve our love and support.
I lived in Tamilnadu for 2 years and I loved the South Indian food there. Here I was missing that kind of authentic taste and Vinayagar vilas offers Sri Lankan vegetarian food which is very close to South Indian food.
Best food in lowest prices and a must try place.

It's take out & catering restaurant. Variety of south indian dishes freshly prepared. Clean and well maintained. Its first time for us to order, the billing lady was kind enough to explain us all the dishes.

Their food is always fresh and delicious.

Buy their main food items not their snacks. If you are lucky you will get reasonable ones. They are liberal with salt as well especially with snacks.

This is my first time ordering at Vinayagar Vilas. I had ordered jalebi and dal vada for office party. The food was cool and dal vada was not property cooked inside. Price wise its good option. They didn't ask if i need chutney for the dal vada. The jalebi's were too big, they could have suggested how much i should i have ordered. Customer interaction could have been better.

A Srilankan eatery where you can find Ifly, Dosas, Samosas, vada and much more south Asian food. There is no dine in option only take outs.

Very quick service, good tasty Tamil food. Not expensive and clean. Medu vada is 4 for a $ and idlis are $5.50 for 10. Sambar and chetney are tasty. Strongly recommend for students and family.

Really good food, and very friendly service. Their vegetarian stuffed roti are so wonderful that once I traveled from Toronto just to buy a pile of them.

Wonderfull food. I took idli combo it was delicious and amazing. I was paying too much for this in different restaurant. With 5 bucks you can fill your stomach. Good for students. Keep growing guys.

Don't get tricked like I did by selecting wrong rice on $4 combo cause it jumps to $6, nice bait and switch

I lives in Kitchener and get lots of food from there restaurant. When we reach home the sambar so stinky. Only vadda was good everything was old. I will never go back to this restaurant

Super south Indian food, the highlight is price and taste. Its affordable for all. Taste and service is good.its basically a takeaway shop. They have almost all kind of snacks available in south india here. Must visit place for south indian food lovers plus economical. Plenty of parking space available in and around the shop.
