The MoFi UltraPhono preamp is a clear step up sonically from the very respectable Pro-Ject Phono Box I had been using, with audible improvements in resolution, imaging, and timbral accuracy. The subsonic filter, mono switch and headphone amp are very nice to have and I'm enjoying all of those features. This preamp has taken my playback to the next level. Thank you Vinyl Sound

Awesome place to shop for pro audio! I’m very grateful I found this store online when I was looking for the Stellar Phono Preamplifier. There was an issue at first, but became resolved afterwards. Another product I just reviewed is the PS Audio Sprout 100 which is basically the cheapest high end gear PS Audio sells. The playback sound coming out of this thing is insane. I really like it and highly recommend this for playing music from your computer, Bluetooth, vinyl In (Has a dedicated preamp for MM Carts), Analog In (I tried MC cart with a separate MC phono preamp to deliver a proper signal). To listen on computer you’d switch to Digital. Only issue is that you can’t rip vinyl but that’s not a biggie for me since I do have creatives soundblasterx G6 which still works awesome. I wanted to experiment with this unit and I’m very happy how it sounds! I highly recommend anyone who is serious with sound quality but same time has a budget to get this fine audio gear including the Stellar:)

As far as the VPI product I bought that’s a full unfortunately I was the guy that got stuck at the boarder in customs and order took too long, both Nick & Daniel were awesome for communication. I just wish as a online store like Vinyl Sound in Ontario they would have directed me to my local VPI dealer in Western Canada and I would of had my purchase the same day from the local dealer. You would think that the Canadian dealers would work together, otherwise I’m happy with everything in the end.

My favorite hifi store in Canada with simply the best prices. Daniel is a fantastic guy who does a very good service. I highly recommend Vinyl Sound to all audio enthusiasts.

I am updating my review, which was previously 5 stars. I had an excellent experience purchasing my system. This summer when I had an issue.
I called 3 times asking for advice. On the first two calls they said let us think about it and we'll get back to you but they did not call me back. On the third call they gave me some suggestions and said email us with details if that does not work. I emailed the details on Sept 17 and got no response. I followed up on Sept 30. Still no response. I now count myself as a former customer.

I had a great experience buying my new 2 channel system. Great advice, service, and fair prices. I highly recommend Vinylsound.

I reached out to Daniel back in September for advice on a first stereo system. Within a couple hours, he was able to book me in for a demo listening experience. Daniel was very helpful during the demo and made some very transparent comments about the interaction of the amp and speakers. After hearing some of my favourite songs, I was sold on the Wharfedale Evo 4.4, Rega Planar 3, and Leak Stereo 130. The fact that Daniel crafted a custom bundle pricing for me that I couldn’t refuse was just a bonus. I was a bit disappointed with how long the items took to arrive, but coordinating shipping times of products from 3 different manufacturers isn’t easy.

Unfortunately, after picking up my order and opening them up at home, I saw that one of the legs of the speakers had snapped off in transit. A few seconds after I messaged Daniel with the news, he called me. He requested some photos of the damage, and with no questions asked, he ordered me a replacement set. This time, he requested that the distributor remove the legs before shipping so they don’t get damaged again. A few weeks later, the replacement arrived. Daniel inspected the speakers at the shop before calling me to get them. During the wait, he respond immediately to any inquiries I had about the status of the shipment.

These guys are clearly passionate about sound and know what they’re talking about. They provided exemplary customer service through the rough parts. I’ll be back when I need to upgrade my headphones. Strongly recommend them.

I couldn't ask for a better or enjoyable experience! The first day I asked for advice, Dan offered different makes and models of turntables with configurations.
He walked me through the different parts and accessories that would allow for a personalized listening experience.
Daniel is very friendly, knowledgeable and sincerely tries to help you as best he can to ensure that all the decisions you make are the right ones. The next day I knew the configuration.
In no time they had the model I wanted in stock and quickly shipped it to me.
I listened to vinyl records on my new turntable all day and all night.

Some of the best customer service I have gotten from a high end audio dealer. I contacted Danial last weekend and made an appointment to meet at the store Sunday afternoon to talk about stand mount speakers and I decided to buy a pair of Dynaudio Special Forty's with Dynaudio Stand 20's not only was the service great Danial also gave me a great deal on the package. I was a bit worried about having them shipped out of the US. But on Monday it was confirmed that they were in stock and would be
shipped out that day to my amazement and surprise I got a phone call Thursday notifying me the speakers had arrived Nick was very helpful with the pickup of the speakers.

It was a time when this place had records but I haven't been there for a long time and all the sale is stereo equipment turntables so the record section has died down because I guess in that area it's not really that many people are going to go look for records if you want records you have to go in the city more or less.

Daniel was very helpful in getting my new Technics turntable set up and shipped out in a timely matter.
He recommended a cartridge for it, had it set up for me, and then shipped it out the next day.

Excellent service and advice, awesome products, lots of patience and very good pricing all made for a very enjoyable purchasing experience. After hooking up my Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP integrated amp to a pair of Harbeth 30.1’s streaming Tidal on a Bluesound node 2i – I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face! I'm looking to add a Kuzma turntable in the future – I will definitely be going back to Daniel and Nick at Vinyl Sound.

I was looking to upgrade my ortofon red stylus to blue and did a search to find a canadian seller with a decent price to avoid paying any duties or having to wait a long time for shipping.when i came upon the vinyl sound site and saw that not only were they in the greater toronto area they also had by far the best price for the blue. Better than even overseas sellers.i purchase the blue and some other items to take advantage of free shipping and my order was shipped the same day.it came two days later and was perfect.i wrote daniel the owner to thank him for an amazing experience and upgrade for my audio technica 1240 turntable and he wrote me back about him also using the blue and the specs of his own home system.it's cool to be dealing with a fellow audiophile and a really nice guy.when i am looking for some other upgrade which i always am i'll check them out again.

Vinyl Sound is what all other audio stores should measure themselves by. Although I have never met Daniel in person our communication was by phone conversation and text messages. I could feel his passion for audio and it felt like we were friends from way back. After purchasing a pair of speakers I went with Daniels recommendation on trying some Furutech speaker cables. I recently purchased the Klipsch the three w/ pro-ject primary turntable pkg and still cannot wipe the smile from my face.
