We bought Vinylbilt windows a year an a half ago. We had some very MINOR fixes (crack in brickmold, casement windows mechanisms that weren't working properly). Vinylbilt was answering our calls for warranty work, and lined up green fox to come out and fix the brickmold. But when we told them about the casements they just dodged our calls and never got back to us. It was seriously the easiest fix ever for the casements and luckily the service guys at Green Fox fixed them for free, even though they didn't have to as it was not their windows. I will recommend Green Fox any day over Vinylbilt now for their superior customer service.

This is simply a great company. They have so many great options for windows while providing great customer service when in need. Would definitely recommend!

We purchased Vinylbilt windows and patio doors in 2014 including the lifetime transferable warranty. In early 2022, the patio door unit had seal failure in both windows. The original installer had retired. Eventually we contacted Vinylbilt directly. They told us the patio doors were manufactured by Sunview Windows and Doors and helped us through the process of sending photos of the condition of the windows and the identifying manufacturing stamps on the windows themselves. This information was forwarded to Sunview. In about two weeks we were contacted by Sunview to set a date for replacement of the faulty windows. Two installers showed up and very efficiently replaced the windows. We were pleased with the efforts of both Vinylbilt and Sunview in this matter!

I love my windows and now customer service has given me even more reason to love VinylBilt. Rebecca at the office is super responsive, efficient and as a big bonus - ultra fun to deal with. Jonathan the repairman - is knowledgeable, respectful (shoes off), quick, efficient and very professional.my window is fixed, and the rest of them are sliding very smoothly with one hand only - wooooohooo. And I will soon have bug maze or fly foam or whatever to keep the mosquitoes from coming in thru the water drain holes. Our doors and windows have worked consistently well since they were installed 10 years ago. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism for our patio door recently broke, but a replacement part was carefully and correctly ordered (thank you Camila Rosa!), delivered, and easily installed by ourselves. There was immediate follow-up to ensure that everything was now in working order. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company for installation and commitment to their product!

I was very impressed with all the help i was provide with from those in the office down with quick response to the repair crew who showed at my home to replace hardware on some of double hung windows both very polite the actual repair person performed 1oo% they operate like they did when i purchased them in 2008. First off, I am not the type of person who looks to complain about the most insignificant deficiencies or even post reviews for that matter. HOWEVER, our experience with windows manufactured by this company has been completely awful. We decided to have all the windows replaced in our home this past year. Our installer (who has been amazing throughout the process) recommended we go with Enerview windows, which I understand is owned by Vinylbilt Windows and Doors.

First off, 12 (!) of the newly installed glass panels had to be replaced because there were scratches and blemishes all over them. Apparently quality control is non-existent with this company. The replacements were just installed. Once the weather warms up a bit so that I can give them a thorough cleaning, I will provide an update on whether there are scratches on the replacements.

Second off, they manufactured one of our windows not based on the measurements provided by the installer (transom was probably twice the size of the original window!). So a replacement was ordered. You would think they would have got it right the 2nd time. NOPE. Not only did they get the measurements wrong again, but the craftsmanship was completely brutal.

It has been a terrible experience overall, and we are tired of having to constantly vent our frustrations to our installer who is not at fault for any of this. We are sick of hearing that it's due to COVID-19 and staff shortages. Quality control should always be the priority with manufacturers of products this expensive, not simply rushing production to line their wallets.

With it being a pandemic, having young children and a spouse who is a front line worker, we have bent over backwards to allocate time for installers to come into our home and correct these deficiencies. And yet, the job is still not done. This company should be embarrassed and ashamed of themself. I am sure we will get a generic, canned response to this post for us to call you which is just going to infuriate us more. You know who we are and you know who our installer is. You can contact us.

I just want to let you know that I have had a couple of great experiences with johnathan and Riccardo. They are an asset to vinylbuilt! Great at what they do, professional and patient. Also a shout out to Rebecca who listened and reassured me.

I am very impress by the effort made by Miss Camila Rosa of customer service.she help me a lot to find out the exact part I need step by step in order to fix my old window that was bought from Vinybilt. So far my window are all working good. Thank you very much Camila.

The technician came to do a warranty replacement of the glass in half our double hung window.the original had developed a leak in the seal causing fogging between the layers. He was courteous, removed his shoes, and changed out the window within 15 minutes. I was a little dismayed that I had to pay for the service call (not the window), in that I thought something bought under warranty would include replacement of the product and the service to replace it.which is common with most companies of any type offering warranties on their products.

Vinylbilt completed a warranty replacement of my garage wall window. Their service was professional, efficient, and the quality of the replacement was identical to the original. Highly recommend their services.

I bought some Vinylbilt windows 17 years ago. They had a lifetime warranty. Recently, one of the window pane seals failed and I had to replace this window pane. I was advised by customer service that the company had changed ownership and that the new owners bought the company but not the warranty liabilities. My window replacement was therefore not covered by my lifetime warranty. I had to pay for the repair. They did a very good job on installing the new window pane.

Got Vinylbilt windows installed in entire house about 3 years ago. Last week one of the double hung opening mechanism broke. Called the company and got a response that Vinylbilt Windows and Doors is now Vinylbilt Windows and Doors 2021 Inc and this new company will not honor any warranties. They told me that I have to pay $150 for a window inspection so they can tell me how much would repair cost. Although I emailed them a picture of the the broken piece.

Excellent product. I have Vinylbilt windows installed in my house in 2006, no issues at all. Using Vinylbilt products for all my remodeling projects and will never change brands. Top quality.

We have worked with Vinylbilt windows on a few projects and they have always delivered on time coupled with a high level of customer service. The current project we are working with Vinybilt is on a beautiful bungalow in Ottawa with large windows in black.

I just had my Vinylbilt windows installed mid 2020 and after 6 months I am loving them. From an Exterior perspective they look fantastic on my house. The functionality and quality are top notch. I have already noticed a huge difference this winter compared to the old ones. I couldn't be happier with these windows and would recommend them to anyone looking to have new windows installed!

We had mechanical disconnects that allowed some of our windows to tilt sideways in their tracks.

Jonathon came to do the repairs. He was most proficient, and personable.

Although we hope there will be no future need, if Jonathon is assigned again to do repairs for us, we will be well content.

Have been trying to get warranty work done for over two years. Installer is saying to follow up with the manufacturer- manufacturer says to follow up with installer. Frustrating experience that is still not resolved.

It is now seven years since we had our windows installed, and we are still extremely pleased with our purchase. This was a 15,000 dollar investment and was worth every penny. We had two paynes crack during the second very cold winter. Within two weeks service was out to replace both windows and that was the only issue. At the time we went for their highest quality windows. No fading, hardware works perfectly! All in all a great investment. We recommend their quality windows. Aurora windows of Oshawa was the installer, and we will absolutely rely on them again for future windiw needs. We also recommended them to two of our neighbours, who are also highly satisfied with their new windows

Heard bad reviews in the past in regards to poor customer service. Decided to take a chance and WOW was I impressed. They made ordering windows very simple and easy to process. I do have to say that the rep that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful at explaining benefits and features.

It seems to bind and I have to help it close by going outside and pushing it closed

Had put in this companies blinds and windows years ago and was very happy.we bought a new home recently and tried them again but concerned about the reviews. The dealer said they were good quality but had a bit of a tough road in recent years but are back to good service and quality product. Plus they will stand behind the product. So far all went well and we are happy with the installer, the quality, looks, and we are sure the vinylbilt people will be behind their product if we have problems.

Previous owner of house installed 19 Vinylbilt windows with lifetime warranty transferable to new owner.contacted dealers listed on their website about an issue with one window.one said to contact Vinylbilt and they would honour the lifetime warranty.contacted them.they never responded to my numerous email and voicemail messages. So much for their lifetime warranty!

Find a different window manufacturer and save yourself a pile of headaches. Zero after sale support on several patio doors. Seals leaking on windows after a year. Window cracked for no apparent reason at all from the inside when no one was here for several months. Degagne Construction is the company in Fort Frances, ON who installed all of the windows incorrectly. All 31 windows leak water directly into our home and needed to be reinstalled. Called Vinylbilt several times to try and find a different company to help warranty the defects and they referred me to Winnipeg. How on earth is another company going to help us from 500kms away. No warranty from the contractor or manufacturer.unreal. Rude customer service rep as well.

Surprised to see only 2.9 stars? Window game can get rough when theres problems. I mean your tearing peoples homes apart I understand how emotions can flare and if the people with the company arent good with conflict or talking people down this is where you end up. Also competitors are haters.

Im a CSA certified fenestration installation tech. Been doing this for 10 years across Canada with many different products in a wide variety of applications. Been using VB for about two years now and one thing i dont really like is the thin snap in covers for renovation brickmould another is long lead times in busy season.

Most vinyl windows are essentially the same, save for some slight differences that gives them more diverse product lines or bragging rights over their competitors. That said, I like VB product because it uses quality components and has a decent warranty to back the end user. Will see how they handle warranty and really earn that last star back if i ever have an issue, so far so good.

These are the worst excuse for a window company, maybe they use to be good but the quality and customer care is a ZERO!
I have had nothing but issues with the product with many attempts to the manufacturer for help.

Good product terrible service order desk is awful completely unaware of options and warranty is awful purchased numerous products that where made incorrectly and they will not cover the cost to repair these items.good products but defiantly need some management changes to train there staff better.

I have just had a few issues dealt with by vinyl built this afternoon and I am very pleased with how they honor their lifetime warranty. The person that has stood out in our mind, as an exceptional customer focused, hard working, efficient beyond words, and just a pleasure to deal with, is Johnathan the installer. Cannot say enough about how pleasant and professional Johnathon was to deal with. Thank you vinyl built for standing behind your products and providing me with great in-home service.

We have now been waiting for 9 weeks for our windows. Our job site is severely impacted. Delivery date has been moved 3 times, the sales representative has resigned due to the poor service the company is offering. Our dealer has made numerous calls with rep, order takers, and delivery people with no success. I left a message as the end user, no reply from anyone. We are in Brantford Ontario. Sadly, I highly recommend using anyone BUT this supplier.
