I noticed lot people don't like ci direct trading for poor service or issues leave negative feedback sometimes got read carefully and understand before signing up I have no issues with customer service agent work hard I love you guys I give 5 star I recommend these ic direct inherent company

Now they’re charging me a $30 fee every 2-3 months? I am getting my money out and getting off of this platform asap.

Platform works well once you figure it out and you can trade basically for free. All the info is there about their fee structures. Read all of it.

A few months ago it said my equity was down 85k.
Unable to modified an order their tech team told me to cancel order instead. Poor software choice quote media which is full of bugs.

Virtual Brokers VB can get. 2 out of 5 for product variety. VB does not value clients, has worst webtrader software you ever Will See. The web trader glitches every day, shows t+ 1,2 day trades delayed to t+ 4,5 or 6 days, does not align margin or buyer power and information based on inaccuracy. VB charges you interest where ever it can, whether applicable or not, has hidden fees, even charges interest on all your registered accounts. Do not get yourself started on the service at VB, basically does Not Exist. Call takers can be rude, can give you false information, even Lie about your account. LOOK ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE ONE OF THE WORSE!

Worst Trading Platform Ever.
-Poor user interface. Platform looks like it was built in the 90's. They've only dressed up the first page.
-Customer service takes forever to pick up the phone.no live chat support. The phone repeats the same automated message for hours.
-Transfers always have problems and "tickets" almost never get resolved.
-App is glitchy. Always closes & the UI.

While the low commission rates are definitely attractive, the next to non-existent customer service will run these guys into the ground. Slow response times on platforms, would be better of on Fidelity Trades or TD Ameritrade especially for traders who are just beginning.

The worst online broker I ever met so far. Half of the time I had to log in twice, the first time got "your session expired" fault. Half of the time I couldn't trade due to the symbol searching not working. Can't believe such an unreliable online trading broker is still alive.

Awful customer service and incredibly slow at processing transfers into your account. So far I've spoken to 3 reps and received 3 different answers, and still my funds haven't arrived in my account. Don't believe the high grade it receives from The Globe & Mail. Not only will you get dishonest and clueless customer service, the trading dashboard and platform is not user-friendly. You cannot even do something so simple as creating multiple watch lists. You get one watch list. And good luck figuring out how to add TSX securities to it. Of all the financial institutions I've dealt with, Virtual Brokers is by far the worst.

Easy sign up and phone support was great. However, the basic online trading platform doesn't work well and online chat support is glitchy.

Worst financial institution I've ever dealt with (if you could even call them that). Stay away from this company. They started out with a model something like PC/Tangerine offering low-cost self-directed services with low to no fees, and then when they built enough of a customer base switched their focus to trying to screw people out of every penny they could. Terrible services, terrible fees, terrible customer service. Run.

Essentially a chop shop which likely made most their business through a previous firm transferring its accounts over to them. Nobody ended up using them for trading, so they did the next best thing, and started instituting a whole bunch of hidden fees, which basically ate up all the funds of those account holders.

And if you try to close an account with them, best of luck to you. Their reset links don't work, contact us ends in a server error, phones don't get answered. This seems to be some criminal enterprise rather than a business.

Had thousands in my account there, and after not checking it for a few years (long-term investor), without any margin trading, I supposedly owe them money, as they've drained all my account funds with fees.

Good commissions early a good 3 stars. They really excel there. Customer service is painful and you have to persist - limited customer service. I am starting to look at Interactive Brokers as I need a more professional broker that has a broad scope with good training on their sight. But yes VB is very good on keeping costs down - except on translation costs to US$ base - VB you need to do better.

If you don't know what you are doing, forget about Virtual Brokers. Their support is non-existant. They close your tickets without answering your question.

Customer service is severely lacking, but I don't think you can beat their commission structure. I called a couple times for help and could tell within seconds I wasn't a priority. I was rushed off the phone after being on hold for quite some time.

I recommended vb to my friend and she told me to never recommend this to anyone due to her experience with their platform and customer service. Don't think it's suitable for a beginner invrstor.

If you just want to execute trades and know exactly what you are doing then this is a serviceable method- but this company literally has people representing them who couldn't care less about how they speak to you. It seems like there's absolutely no level of oversight on customer service which is laughable in this age of information. 1 in 3 interactions will be one word answers, and a get lost attitude, especially on chat.

It's quite interesting to have such shortsighted thinking about client satisfaction, maybe clients aren't actually a significant source of revenue? I can't quite see how that'd be the case. They are competing against established and respected banks, so I just don't see status quo lasting.
