I have had great difficulty with the customer service from this firm. They do not call to explain tasks, everything is done by long convoluted email threads. They send documents to the incorrect role on the project etc. We have had many personnel changes and there seems to be a total lack of care for our needs. Recently they contacted me and assured me that the issues would be corrected. I was pleased with the progress. I will update this review when I know more.

Dealing with visa place is completely disappointing.my worse experience, I would not recommend this company at all.such a waste of time and money.the communication was so poor, we applied for the three applications and the financial support documents were not submitted by firm. But I gave all financial documents that was more than enough.

Save your money. Sad they put everything together and didnt give me proper advise on financial proof, i was misled. My study permit was denied, and the reasons were straightfoward and Nadia suggested we get notes from the IRCC wasting more time. And the worst part was they wanted me to pay another 2000 usd for re submission. Lawyers were swiched many times

Like other reviewers, I would give this place a zero rating, if possible. All I can say, is do not use this company for anything. You will save yourself all kinds of aggravation and money. Where to begin. My wife and I have been waiting years, since our initial application, to apply for US Residency, a process that should be quick and easy as we are being sponsored by our daughter, who is a US citizen. Multiple emails and voicemails have not been returned and we have been waiting months, to get an update as to where our application stands. Throw in the fact that our initial contacts are no longer with this company (gee, I wonder why) and we have no specific person to contact. I called a few weeks back to get the email address of the owner/president, as I wanted to send him an email detailing our experience. The person that finally answered the phone, refused to provide this email (nice way to run a business) and was very unprofessional in the process. I was in my own business for over 45 years and I have never dealt with anything as poorly run as this place. So again, save yourself a ton of trouble and do not use this place at all.

I will personally recommend Visaplace to anyone who needs immigration service help legally. They are awesome professionals and the staff is great.

I am going to give my 100% honest, LONG review of my experience with Visaplace from 2021 until now 2023. Overall unprofessional, inexcusable mistakes on documents, and staff turnover that had me with 8 different lawyers/case workers in 1 year.

This was my first time using an immigration lawyer. I contacted them in 2021 before I moved into Canada for a consultation based off of their 5 Star reviews. I spoke to a wonderful woman named Victoria who walked me through the entire process. I trusted her and proceeded forward with the firm on a $4,500.00 PR application. When I entered Canada in 2021 I applied for a visitor extension while VisaPlace "processed" my paperwork. The PR application took over a year with COVID in which time I had to apply for additional Visitor Extensions which were an additional $1,500 each. I did 2 of these costing over $3,000 plus the initial $4,500 I paid. They then suggested that I apply for a Work permit so that I could work. I later learned that if you are granted PR you DO NOT NEED A WORK PERMIT. But Visaplace charged me additional money for this anyways. When my PR was granted and they realized their mistake, no refund was given, just an "oops haha" moment from them. Now let's talk about the communication with the firm. I started earlier with Victoria, but she was just the fluff to get you in the door. Once her job was done I was transferred to another team. I did not appreciate this as Victoria was the main reason I decided to go with Visa Place, but it is my fault for not realizing that Victoria was NOT a lawyer. So now I have a person working on my visitor extensions, a separate person working on my work permit, a separate person working on my spousal sponsorship application, and a fourth person as the "document collector" who I would email back and forth about my documents. Between 2021-2023 I would get constant emails that "this person is now handling your case" as I assume turnover must be high. So I never knew who I needed to contact with issues, as staff was always changing. When it came to the actual paperwork, I did all of the leg work, I went to get my fingerprints done, I contacted my home country for a background check, I contacted the CRA for my wife's notice of assessment, I went to the doctor to get the physical, I went to get blood work, I went to a passport place to get PR photos taken, I was on my own with getting an Ontario ID (they did not help with getting my SIN, DL, or OHIP), I had to apply for a SIN & OHIP myself, I had to get reference letters from friends and family, I had to pay the certified mail fees when sending and receiving documents to and from my home country, I had to write up pages and pages of proof that my wife and I were in a legitimate marriage. WHAT DID VISAPLACE EVEN DO? They did fill out my paperwork. Incorrectly I must add. There were several instances where my wife was put as the Sponsee and I was put as the Sponsor and I had to correct the girl doing my paperwork. A simple "HAHA thanks for catching that" was her reply. At this point I had paid almost $10,000 to these people and this is the level of professional competence I got. There were several issues with them over the 2 years I have been working with Visaplace. When you are already in so deep financially with a firm you can't just walk away. Finally my PR was approved and I got my card. Now I am done with Visa place I will be moving on.

Worst place ever no response on call takes months to reply via e-mail and the agent are so insensitive and so the receptionist so rude and I have names which I do feel to reveal but I don’t think that would be right.
I request you all don’t visit this place for your immigration purposes or anything.

I had to reapply for a I-92 Visa, of which Zee Elchawiche was my attourney. She had all of the proper paperwork to hand into the Boarder so it may be uploaded. I would recommend VisaPlace to anyone needing their help.

Was misguided by everyone especially Yasmin & Jamal. I had no status & they still applied for my PR & TRP. I trusted them & I thought they know what they are doing but both applications were refused. Understood late doesn’t matter if you get an invite. If you have no status you cannot apply for PR. Wasted all my money & time.

I had a consultant appointment about my work permit situation and they gave me updated visa/work permit related news which reduced my stress massively.

My initial review reflected an unsatisfactory experience. We had a bit of trouble with our assigned team which cost us time and left us feeling bad about our experience with Visaplace.

However, we were reached out to recently by Alyssa (client services manager) who was notified of our concerns and looked into our case. Alyssa made a great effort to rectify the situation and after speaking with her, we feel much more confident and are grateful. Thank You Alyssa!

I can now say that I would recommend Visaplace because I know that they are providing a genuine service and pride themselves on customer service and client satisfaction.

The situation and the circumstances were unfortunate regarding our case but I would encourage everyone to advocate for yourselves and if you can’t, people like Alyssa are there and represent the good in Visaplace.

It would be almost unfair to say whether I received good advice and / or service pertaining to my work visa situation. In my case, I would require a team of lawyers knowledgeable in the areas of native law, international trade law and inter-tribal commerce. I just had too many variables to take into consideration for this company. Thanks for the help anyway.

I'm really disappointed with this firm's communication skills. They were great in the beginning with the consultation but as soon as we paid the $3000 it has been terrible service. No one replies to our emails and when we tried calling, we would just get voicemail or the receptionist said someone would be calling us back that day and then no on would call. We've barely had any contact for the last 3 months and we have no idea what the status of our application is. We thought going with this firm would speed things up for us but it seems to be slowing us down.

It seemed to me that they were not clear with the process, it was of little use and too much cost for nothing.

I want to strongly recommend you don't go visa place office. You will be loss your money waist time, no visa everything you will be loss. So please don't apply visa from Visa place office. Don't go visa place please.

I reached out to VisaPlace kind of on a whim, knowing that I needed to apply for permanent residency in order to stay with my spouse and our two cats. They were immediately and incredibly responsive, and almost instantly made me feel that I was dealing with professionals who cared about my case.

Excellent! This is the service I was expecting from an immigration law firm. Although I knew the entire procedure for a PR application and got the ITA myself, I was looking for someone reliable to make everything smoother. I began working with Nadia and her team at the beginning of 2020 right before my husband and I got married. (He’s Canadian and I’m American.) Nadia helped us choose the best immigration route for our situation- spousal sponsorship and made a very tough process, very easy for us. 20 years ago I needed immigration services. While on another appointment I saw a small law firm VisaPlace. I walked in and met a Lawyer his name is Michael Niren. The service I received exceeded my expectations. I am still a client. Whenever I need them they are always available to help quickly and have a high level of professionalism. I have dealt with a few other Lawyers at the firm, they were also very helpful and professional. However. Danielle Grbic left a lasting impression. I am presently using them for my E2-Visa renewal. (Work Visa) My application was submitted on May 2021, my interview date was on Oct 28,2021. A few days before my appointment, I received an email from the US Consulate stating the appointment has been canceled for the non-receipt of my application. I contacted VisaPlace. Within an hour I received a call from Danielle Grbic. She assured me it has to be a mistake on their part and will give it her undivided attention. Literally spent $150 for a phone consult and didn't get me any further than the research I did myself. Just tried to keep pitching me services for $3000 or $1500, discount on this and that.wasn't very knowledgeable. Would probably get a lot further if they actually listened to the individuals needs vs hard sells off the bat.

I will tell you that I am so impressed with my representative Shiv. He had been extremely helpful and is so good at calming any fears I might have. I pray that he will remain my support for the duration of my application.

This firm is a complete RIP OFF. Do not use their services. They charge you money to even tell you how much your service is going to cost. They charge $150 USD for answering your basic questions like how much the service will actually cost. This is ridiculous. So if there legal fees are out of my range then I just spent $150 USD for no reason.
