We had met initially with Elizabeth Lakic and we at first loved her. She emailed me destination options and I replied that those didn't work for us, after a week of no reply I emailed her back and she emailed back yes apologetic but also made me feel that I was an inconvenience and that she had other priorities to attend to. Awful feeling for a bride is who is planning her wedding. After that last email I thought ok we should still give her the benefit of the doubt.we still have not heard from her, it is unprofessional to even tell your client that you are short staff, or that you have to work 12-14hrs/day just to get to everyone and it is high season. When looking for an agent we should feel that we will not be an inconvenience to you and that you do have your focus on us. From the beginning the communication should have been I am sorry I am unable to take you on so that way I can look elsewhere to plan my wedding. I absolutely do not recommend planning your destination wedding with Elizabeth Lakic. A good judgment on picking your travel agent is communication. Which there was not any. I am very thankful I found another agent at Marlin Travel who has been nothing but professional and responsive, I think 3 business days should be a rule of thumb to reply to your clients.

I am SO sorry I made you feel the way you described in the above review, which I only just now stumbled upon when I was searching the web for something.
I have been in the travel business for over 30 years, and am truly taken aback that I made you feel so bad! Truly. I feel horrible for that, really I do!
Just to explain my side.because of the COVID pandemic, our offices did close and we only had two agents in-house, vs 8 pre-closure; I got laid off in early April 2020, and had no access to my work emails or anything work related.
(I DID, however, have the name and contact information for my colleague who was covering for me while I was laid off, it was in my signature/out of office)
I've only just recently (November 2021) returned to work.
Again, please accept my SINCERE apologies, I would never intentionally shun someone and I typically get back to clients within 24 hours at the latest.
I hope you had a lovely destination wedding and I wish you nothing but the best.

After meeting with Mark Hough from Vision Travel, I can only say he is an awesome person to work with for planning a trip. He actively travels himself to so many interesting places. With that personal experience in so many different places and cultures, he had tips and info I hadn't considered before. I highly recommend talking to Mark before booking your own trip online as he can help you avoid potential problems and make sure you have all the info you need to make your trip smooth.

After sitting down with Mark, I have a greater appreciation for travel planning than I had before. There is much more than meets the eye when planning a vacation. Mark knows his stuff! He has traveled the world and has first hand experience with many places his clients will travel to.
Having that experience makes him a great choice if you are planning a vacation in the future. He loves to research different places in the world to ensure you are going to see exactly what YOU want to have the best experience you can.

TEAM HOUGH, Lorie and Mark Hough are amazing and very knowledgable in travel. If you choose Vision travel, make sure you use Team Hough!
