The place was booked up when we called but they had seats at the bar available luckily. Be sure to call days in advance for reservations.

The wine selection is decent with some actual quality bottles available at around 3x the price at LCBO, below average bottle pricing for a place like this. The bar keep can make any drink you desire. And the hand crafted coffee machine looks legendary, I'm sure it's a hit with the afternoon crowd.

The menu is great, plenty of options but not overwhelming. You get your money's worth in portion size, even the apps, come hungry and take your time!
Although the calamari app was 4 times bigger than we're used to, it was just this side of overdone and the chefs idea of jazzing it up with a balsamic vinaigrette was uninspired.
The ribeye was AAA+ quality, but I requested rare and got medium rare. I highly recommend it though, it was tender and tasty, the blackened finish is superb. That and the Sterling were the highlight of the night, if it actually came rare this would be a 5 review.
The tiramisu is legit but needs work.

The service from the bar keep was exceptional, friendly and personable while not in your face. He was able to anticipate our needs without seeming to even look at our glasses and plates. So if bar seating is all that's available don't hesitate, you're in good hands.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you are out for dinner and drinks with friends or on a date night with your significant other, or maybe just seeking a couple of drinks at the bar, you can't go wrong by checking in to Vito's. 4.5/5

Very strange to have people yelling and cheering at the bar 5 feet away while trying to have an intimate dinner for 2. Felt more like a east side marcus's at 3 times the price. Won't be back.

Used to like pizzas there, but lately, they served me burnt pizza. Like two times out of the last three visits.

This place was recommended to me, but despite the good flavour of the sauce, the food was FILLED with HUMAN HAIR. I had to pull almost 10 hairs out of the pasta sauce before I gave up and realized these people just add hair to the sauce on purpose or something. Would leave 0 stars if possible. AVOID UNLESS YOU LIKE TO EAT HUMAN HAIR

I hadn't been here since before the pandemic. It was good to be back in town for a night. The menu hasn't changed much. There's something to be said for consistency. They keep it simple and authentic

Today was our first experience. We had two little girls who absolutely LOVED their spaghetti and meatball (which are HUGE). I wouldnt say its super kids friendly food but if you kids like pasta and pizza you'll be set. Food for the adults was fantastic. We will be back soon!

Vito's has been one of Windsor's top go-to venues for food and drinks for anyone looking for good food or to socialize. My friends all choose Vito's first. I live their patio (s) in the warm weather. The space is used really well. I have been to many private events upstairs including a work holiday dinner. My favourite dish there may simply be the spaghetti bolognese and they do fried calamari well. The wood burning pizza oven always smells great and adds to the atmosphere.

We came across the river from Detroit to try some Windsor style pizza, we had read a lot about it and sounded good to us. We made reservations and when we arrived they got us right in. Once inside the restaurant was very small and the tables were crowded together. We sat down and the din was very loud. We could hear the conversations of the people all around us rather than our own. We ordered a bruschetta for a starter. It was ok but nothing special. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with a marinara sauce. We heard how thin and crisp Windsor pizza was, but ours was neither and the spaghetti was ok but the sauce could have been from a jar. I will say the service was good. I am afraid we were not very impressed with our experience. We would like to try another Italian restaurant to give Windsor pizza another chance

AMAZING DINNER for my boyfriends birthday.made a big order getting parm chicken, chicken Masala, patate pizza, salads, calamari, and red snapper. All of us were very satisfied with our dinner. Thanks again Vito's

The food was delicious! Would go more often if it was a tad less expensive. The waiter could have smiled and been more engaging. He seemed very serious. Not sure if my standards are too high, having worked in the hospitality industry, but it would be nice to be greeted with a smile and offered suggestions to the menu. Personalized service goes a LONG way, even if the food might be mediocre. In this case, it was the opposite.

Hands down my absolute favourite restaurant in Windsor. I don't even think my review is necessary as the restaurant is always busy - without sacrificing attentive service. Large portions of excellent food at affordable prices is their not-so-secret "secret" to Vito's success. You have to try their meatballs. Best ever!

First visit. Group of 4 shared 2 appetizers and tried 4 different mains. Everyone loved their meals. I had the chicken marsala and it was the best I've ever had.
Great service. Overall A+ experience. Would highly recommend.

Cute patio. Bout it. Ordered the ravioli alla pesto. About 40 mins later, recieved 6 salty ravioli with a piece of stale bread on a pretentious rectangular plate to make it look larger. Had bad service experience before, came back to give another chance. Obviously in the business to make as much money as possible. Never again.

I visited Vitos with my elderly father on Father’s Day. We waited 30 mins on the patio before the server even acknowledged us and asked what our drinks were. We than waited over an hour baking in the sun for our food. It seemed like everyone else was getting served before us. The patio didn’t even seem that busy at the time. I wish we were paid more attention to.

Brought my mom, aunt and wife for dinner. Thev3vof them are big Italian food fans. The food was beyond amazing and the service we received from Dragon wasc2nd to none. Will definitely be back for more.

Ordered for takeout they didn't give any bread and the salad was very dry, they need to put more dressing. The portion sizes were very small for the amount of money we spent. Quality of food is good but not worth the outrageous price. $300 later and no leftovers.

I was extremely disappointed with the service, I’ve been a loyal customer for years; either dining in with friends or my father or mother and extended family.before covid the service was great and I celebrated 3 of my birthdays here.however recently the service has not only been disappointing but disrespectful.after they opened up back again on several occasions I called in advance for reservations.each time I was told something different.when I made a reservation I was told they didn’t take any on arrival and when I was told to walk in I was met with a rude dismissive attitude and asked if I had any reservations.the last time I dined in I got food poisoning from the seafood pasta and my step mother was sick for a week afterwards because of the food as well.this week I dined in with my family my starter and main were both burned to a char and my sister found pieces of hair in her food.we chose to not make a big fuss about it but afterwards we were basically kicked out of the restaurant because someone else was seen as more of a priority and wanted our table.we tried ordering something else and were told we could not.they hide behind covid rules to continue this behaviour I have several friends working at different patios and the rules they were telling my family were complete lies.to be disrespected and dismissed like that after spending money on food and drinks for a 4 person table was just baffling. I really wish they will change this behaviour because they will lose customers continuing this way.this used to be one of my favourite restaurants to go to but now sadly I cannot say I will be returning: (

Amazing restaurant with delicious, authentic, Italian cuisine! During covid they have been doing insane daily takeout specials that are a great value and will be sure to leave you with plenty of leftovers! Highly recommend for any occasion

I came here with a couple of friends during Covid when we were allowed to eat in restaurants. Although the restaurant is small, I felt safe with their Covid measures; masks and plastic barriers between tables.

It was hard to choose what I wanted, but I opted for the meatballs and a caprese salad. Holy meatballs for days! I was not expecting them to be the size of my head. I got 2 meatballs with a lot of sauce. I ended up eating 1/2 a meatball, and saved the rest for home. The caprese salad was just your average salad, but it was good pairing it with the meatballs.

Do not order the Mother’s Day special. We ordered it for 4 people. We got only two pieces of dessert, 2 individual pieces of ravioli each, 4 chicken breasts and salad. We could not call the restaurant to inquire about the order. It was cold upon arrival. (10 mins to the restaurant to our house). Throughly disappointed considering the specials and in person dining are good.

Always delicious. Great food with big portion size. The prices are very reasonable. Make sure you make a reservation if you are dining in.

Good food. The restaurant is located in a rather unique and quaint area of Walkerville, almost like the old Yorkville section of downtown Toronto. My first time there, but it was clean and the service was cordial

We ordered for the 1st time. Being Italian, I'm picky about how pasta is made. We tried the carbonara, and it was delicious! Not over powered with too much sauce and the pasta was cooked to perfection
We'll definitely order again, but I'd suggest maybe putting the little garlic breads separate from the pasta so they don't get soggy on the bottom.

Went for Valentine’s Day with reservations, found a bug in my drink, waited over two hours for our food after the order was placed while people who came after us all had dined and left. We ended up leaving before ever getting our food as we were told we were free to do so. I will never go back!

Best restaurant in Windsor I went there with friends we got good and best quality food there. Best services. Good staff I love it

If you're driving through Windsor and want an excellent wood burning pizza, you have to stop, relax and eat here. Huge portions, excellent service at reasonable prices.

Food was ok, the staff - oh my god so rude. They didn’t seem to care at all about us being there, our waiter - not once did he ask how was the food and eventually we did not tip him either. I hope he gets the message. Very very disgusting sitting arrangements- everybody pushes your table or food or something. Never going back again.

I've been to Vito's a number of times over the years and its always predictable food. The last few times I have been the service has been atrocious. Unfriendly, short, no attention, slow service, or completely disregarded. We went on Monday and vowed that this would be the last time. The busser was the only polite employee in the place. Our server was completely self absorbed. Sat us down without eye contact with two menus and zero interaction. Proceeded to ignore us for 30 minutes. Our 'go to' staple of rice balls were inedibly salty and soggy. They got our pizza order wrong - and it was simple, then it took 45 minutes to remake. When it was time to pay they dropped the bill (that was tucked into the waiter's pants? Come on people!) and left us for 40 minutes without so much as a look and I had to ask to pay at the bar. Vito's is now crossed off our places to eat in Windsor.

1st time going and I would definitely go back again! A little pricey but for what you get it's worth it! For sure I would recommend checking it out! Friendly staff also!
