Volcano Pizzeria

Very greasy pizza from the few times I've ordered, but fairly tasty still.just far too much grease for me.service is great though.

Ordered delivery Friday night for Saturday at noon. 1210pm called. Was told its got a few more minutes still and will be leaving. 1220/1225 called again and was told leaving soon. No explanation or anything. No apology. Nothing. I asked why it's late. "Because there's a delay". No explanation at all and the tone and attitude was horrendous. I even asked did we get forgot about. No feasible answer. Terrible customer service with complete lack of empathy. Will NEVER be back.

Pizza quality and flavor didn't even make up for it.

When first opened was amazing. Good quality has went down really bad seems like they don’t care about the food quality anymore. Also either there hours of operation is wrong on Google or the people working just don’t like answering a phone because they would have to work. Soo unfortunate as I am a big pizza person. Not ordering anymore from this location.

Well every time I was coming it was great the customer service is horrible and always horrible feels like the guy who's working absolutely hates being here but the food was good, so I kept coming untill.

Today I came and ordered the same things I always do a medium and 20wings but today I got it home and the pizza was soggy and cold I called the guy said bring it back

So I did and now I'm here waiting for the remake while my wings are home getting cold I won't be back 50dollars for soggy piza and cold wings

When this place opened it was the best pizza. Now years later it has gone down hill. Pizza don't taste the same and it sort of just thrown together.

I order from here every other week and today is the last time I am ever supporting this place.

So far I have been waiting over 2 hours when they said it would take an hour, ordered at 5: 17.guess I gotta go to Mc Donalds now

Don't buy from this place thorold has enuff pizza parlors, be better if they shut down

Ordered tonight after a food critic gave it a good review. Super disappointed. Our order came missing items and the pizza wasn’t even cut! Steak sub was okay but other reviews are right about the thin piece.

Great pizza wicked wings the women that was working was fantastic very friendly and funny was keeping other employees engaged and pumped would have loved to work with her when I was in the food industry

Staff didn't seem very attentive. All their pizza pans and baking sheets seem to be stored on the floor which was concerning as someone who works in restaurants. Pizza was average at best, would rather get it from 7/11 in future.

I walked in for a slice and the pizza I thought was pretty good. I liked the sauce and how much sauce was on my slice. I decided to order pizza that evening and it was just drowning in grease and oil, almost inedible. A completely different experience to that slice I had, which was admittedly quite good.

On another visit, I popped in around closing, just to get a can of soda, and staff were very pushy in trying to sell me end-of-the-night pizza. They kept saying it was going to the garbage and insisted I buy it instead. Had to say no several times. Why even try to sell pizza you admit is moments away from being garbage worthy?

I have to give two stars because that one slice I had was actually a solid slice. It's a shame that experience couldn't have been replicated on subsequent visits.

I loved volcano pizza until last night. It was my 60th birthday so I ordered pizza 1st there was no delivery and when we got it home it looked like a 5 year old had made it crust was so thin on one side you couldn't even pick it up and so thick on the other it was horrible there was hardly any cheese and the toppings were just thrown in one spot. Very disappointed! Will be a long time before I try again!

I was a regular here. Waited 2 hrs for a prepaid pizza and they could not deliver. I had a crew of workers that are not fed now. Never again will I waste my time here or my crews time.

The last 3 time we have ordered wings they are always wrong! We ask for them dry and they are drowning in sauce. Now this last time we asked for 10 medium and 30 mild and they did the opposite. They even has the nerve to ask us to bring them back! We will not be ordering from them again!

Delicious pizza, reminds me of the pizza they would get for our school on pizza days, HD Pizza I believe it was called. Volcano is delicious and you can get a big slice and a pop for 5.25

Always order the margarita pizza. Its usually cooked well and the crust usually isnt hard altho last night my order wasnt cooked well. I dont feel like they added double cheese i paid extra for and also the crust was very hard this time. Although all the workers work hard and have always been kind and polite to me. Would definately say they deserve tips if you can afford it. Other than some orders off and on that are too heavily cooked and not double cheesed like i asked and also they put way too much herbs on the pizza slices which looked like it almost spilled on there and they had to try and get it off. Thats what it looked like. Otherwise normally good pizza for the money. Although for a small pizza with only cheese and tomatoes the prices are a bit high in my opinion. Although once they were kind enough to just make me a medium pizza no charge. That only happened once. But will i still order there? Yes absolutely.

45+ minutes for a 12 slice pick up. Got the Buffalo chicken. It smelled great but was far to greasy. Returned it for a refund. The manager apologized and offered to replace it.

I will try again just my experience that day.

Be a bestfriend of one of the owners or be an absolute nobody. Always hiring.wonder why that is? Think twice before applying. They drive away all the good staff.

Horrible customer service. Racco told me" I told you it will be 35" it took him 50 min to make it. He needs to be fired. If I could post 0 stars I would. Last time I'm ordering there. Brutal.

Came there to pick up order sat there for 15 mins only to see it on top of there oven all along customer service is not the greatest but there trying, and the wings a small.

Went to order 2 trays with wings on Friday night.they called back stating they could not do trays but could do larges instead. They told me that it was going to cost an extra $25 I asked if they could honour the tray prices but they said no. We got our pizza which was undercooked and not good at all!
Was very disappointed and would never recommend them ever again!
So not only did we get bad pizza we also had to pay more!

Ordered a medium pizza 3 toppings. (no veggies so no need to be too sloppy) Fair price and toppings were quality. Unfortunately the order taker was either not communicating to the kitchen staff or not listening to my request. I requested the order to be a little well done. Even though the bottom of the crust looked a little well done, I still had to cook the order for an additional time in the oven at home to firm up the dough. It had char marks but was soggy and I was unable to even pick up a slice due to its resemblance of being uncooked, after reheating (cooking) the order, it was to the quality I expected from Volcano's but I feel the issue is customer service and attention to detail. The experience was less than expected. My order was explained to be 35 min due to my well done request. I arrived in 25 min and it was already complete ontop of the oven waiting for pickup. I should have known better and should have asked if it was "as ordered". But let's face it NOBODY! Wants a "Sneezer Pizza". So I acepted the fact that staff are well trained, and that this is their job not mine. That's 2 chances so I think it will be just slices to fill the gap in the future. Sorry Guys you blew it!

Used to work there, horrifically mismanaged, zero adherence to food safety laws. DO NOT EAT HERE, you will be overcharged for rancid food. The level of filth and incompetence in this establishment is unbelievable. Owner comes in too high to speak properly and sits around playing video games as his business fails.

Always been kind people working. Prices seem relatively decent. Maybe a little pricy. But i have only bought subs there so my imput may not be on par. I mainly rate these on how kind the customer service is. And how busy the places are. This place has never been backed up. And I've always been treated well there. 100% would reccomend their subs anyways. Have not yet tried the pizza.

Delicious pizza for a great price! Good pepperoni. Nice and crispy crust. We got it with extra sauce which made it even more tasty.

It is my expectations that a good pizzeria always has a good steak sub. Unfortunately this was not the case with Volcano's Pizzeria in Thorold.
It was more of a green pepper sub than anything.

I've ordered take-out from Volcano's 3 different times, and they always say a 30 minute wait time on the phone. When I get there to pick up my order I end up waiting for another 15 minutes inside the shop, it was frustrating each time.

However, the pizza is actually pretty decent, especially the sauce on the pie, but Because of the wait time and the poor steak subs, my go-to pizzeria in Thorold is Papa Vince Pizza.

The pizza was fairly good and was quick which was nice the guys were super friendly but the quality of food was just ok to us. Great atmosphere and the pizza is by no means bad but with the prices being where they are it would not be our first choice. If your close by not a bad place to stop and grab a quick lunch.

You people need to learn how to put cheese on pizza. I just spent about $25 on a 12 slice that has the amount of cheese that would barely cover a 4 slice pizza. I do realize that cheese is probably the most expensive item on the pie, but come on. This was just being ridiculous. Funny because your slices in store never seem to have that issue.

Takes forever no matter what add extra 20 min to your order. If they for some reason they are on time they definitely forgot part of your order! Half star at best. If I could score lower I would

Horrible service told 30 minutes for steak sub then wait and told another 15 complete.crqp this is the third strike for this place for me and won't be returning the foods ok but not with the wait.
