This guy Payam Torfehgoo is such a bad salesperson, he's so pushy, not honest about he says, we came to see a tiguan that is fully loaded, but he has a base model that tries to co convince us that it's fully loaded. These old pressure tactics are disgusting, he made it sound like there are 100 customers wish to buy this car if we don't buy it, can't trust him really, we ended up leaving.be aware and save your time!

Amazing service, super friendly and helpful staff. I’d like to call out Arvand from the Sales team - who is a gentleman who goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you want as a customer, and is patient, knowledgeable and informative all at the same time.

Next I’d like to call out Jack from the finance team, who took it upon himself to make sure the hassle for documentation, finance requirements and everything else was minimized on us. Super cordial and extremely helpful.

Last but not the least, Chantale - who once again is patient & very helpful.

Our entire experience purchasing a VW from Milton was exceptionally exciting, very comfortable and the staff and team took care of us from the moment we stepped in, till we got our keys.

Bought a CPO 2018 VW Tiguan R-Line with 55k on it from David Paradis back in June. The vehicle now has 85k on it as I do lots of highway driving and I cannot be happier with my purchase. So far no issues with the vehicle besides needing a new battery 2 weeks after purchase, but David made sure the prices for it was covered and the process was easy. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from David as he made the whole process very easy and took his personal time to show me how to work everything in the vehicle upon delivery.

I can't say enough good things about this dealership. The bar for VW dealerships is set high for me; I count myself as a personal friend of the dealer principal from where I originally came, and it's a VW dealership that has been recognized nationally for their excellence in customer care.

Volkswagen Downtown Toronto has been wonderful to deal with. Their service department is friendly and approachable, Jay Yom in particular has taken very good care of my requirements. My car is fixed correctly, first time, every time, and they've even gone above and beyond. For instance, I brought the car in this summer, needing an oil change; in the inspection and service, the tech noticed that a wiring harness in the driver's side door was giving me trouble (I'd forgotten about this, but yes, sometimes the vehicle claimed the door was open when it was not). Without asking (and under warranty, of course), the wiring harness was fixed.

I know that Volkswagen Downtown Toronto will eventually relocate at some point, as the lot is slated for redevelopment, much as every other plot of land in this neighbourhood. However, I hope they don't go far - I am certainly a happy customer, and look forward to working with them for years to come, wherever they might ultimately land downtown!

Booked an appointment for AC repair. Vehicle delivered at 0730 and had to chase advisor Jay Yom for updates. Car was there for 2 days when I was informed they needed 2 weeks (!) to get a replacement compressor. I made 1 call to an alternate repair facility who could immediately source the part and had the vehicle serviced there. I felt like no effort was made to find the part from other VW dealers or suppliers. Paid $159 for the inspection plus $214 for other services identified and took the car back. When I mentioned to Jay that I was unhappy with the delay in getting updates over 2 days, he replied that “I have other customers”. This was not an “award-winning” service experience for me.

I recently purchased a new vehicle from this location. The service received from the sales department was absolutely fantastic. I had the pleasure of working with Colin Sweett to negotiate a deal. He made the entire process simple and efficient. After we came to an agreement Lily took over and helped finalize the paperwork. On delivery day I got to work with Nick to sign all the documents and he took his time to walk me through all the features of my brand new car before I drove off the lot. The team has followed up with me since to make sure that I'm happy with the vehicle and ensure that I don't have any questions.

I haven't had the chance to work with the service department yet, but if they're even half as good as the sales team than I know I'll be in good hands.

If you're considering buying a Volkswagen I highly recommend coming down to this location, you won't be disappointed.

New Vehicle delivered with ripped seats. If I could give 0 stars, I would happily do so. I don't like giving bad reviews. I bought my first VW, a brand new 2022 Jetta. What a horrible experience so far! I picked up my car and day off I noticed ripped seats.

After I picked up the car I noticed shine in my passenger seats thought it was nothing until the next day in the morning when I was outside in sun and noticed it small rip in the seats.no one drove the car and been inside the car since I picked up beside the sales person from VW downtown he was seating in the passenger seat and no way I would've noticed it when he was walking me through the car. I immediately contacted the dealership and send an email with the photos as a prove. No one called back or responded to my email. End up reaching out to the sales manager on the phone and he mentioned nothing we could do about this. Very very disappointed and hoping for an immediate resolution.this doesn't feel like a good purchase anymore.

Took my GTI in for the rust warranty since I had a rusting front fender and trunk. Marcus da Silva was my main point of contact and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Marcus kept me updated with everything that was going on behind the scenes such as, when the parts would come in, when the car was ready, etc. He even provided an Uber back home once I dropped my car off at the dealer. I got the car back in less than 2 weeks with all the parts replaced and painted. Work was well done, paint was blended and all the screws/bolts were in their place. Overall, I had a great experience dealing with this dealership - thanks Marcus!

Car repair service is terrible I don’t recommend to anybody. I was very dissapointed to of your customer service. I just came to your place to fix my car. I left it in there 15 August 2022 Thursday. You fixed my car firstly general chech (157+tax) after that you changed mass air flow sensor (514+tax) and engine air filter (86+tax). Before you fix my car I told to repair service Krank (shaft) cam sensor suppose to change. Your repair service agent explained me my car needs to be general check to see everything. I accepted and I trust them. After 3 to 5 business day I came to downtown wolksvagen again to pick up my car. I paid $865.52 uncluded tax. Only couple days later my car had a same problem like before. I left downtown wolksvagen again explain the situation but your repair service couldn’t solve my problem and they told me “we can not fix your car “ after that I called towing truck to pick my car from your place and then we went to Yorkdale wolksvagen. Yorkdale Wolksvagen completly fixed my car they changed only Krank (shaft) cam sensor. Also they were charged me less than your place. I am very dissapointed because I paid money nearly 514+tax for nothing if it is possible to reverse my money back to my credit card. Your repair service is terrible please help me in this case if I don’t get my money back, I am thinking to talk with lawyer.

I've always heard bad stories about dealerships, particularly those in the big city. However, VW downtown has changed that perception. I just got my AC fixed here under warranty and they went above and beyond to figure out the problem and maintain quality service.

100% coming back here for future problems and will recommend this shop to friends. I really enjoyed interacting with Jay Yom and highly recommend him from the service department.

This use to be my go to dealership as I was working downtown and it was convenient to drop my car off and be shuttled to the dealership after work. I stopped going to this location when I brought my car in and they put 250km on my car, which is clearly shown on the invoice (KM in 38,936/KM out 39,187=251KM). My Volkswagen is a 2016 GTI manual with the performance package, when I got into my car I could smell this sweet burning smell. Having not driven a manual car for a while I didn’t think much of it, knowing what I know now I would have immediately asked to speak to a manager. If your a driver enthusiast and own a driver enthusiast car I wouldn’t ever recommend bringing your car to this location. OH and I almost forgot, on Thursday May 12th I had my car serviced at VW yorkdale and showed the invoice to one of the service reps. He had over 17 years of tenure working with Volkswagen and said this wasn’t normal at all and reassured me that’s not how they conduct business at their location. He was genuinely shocked that my car had basically been driven from Toronto to Guelph and back, that’s an idea of how many km were put on my car. I’d recommend taking the extra time to make your way to VW yorkdale for any servicing of your Volkswagen.

Bought a certified pre-owned 2018 VW Golf from Colin Sweett in March 2022. Colin was great throughout the whole process and would recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a VW.

From the start Colin was very responsive to my initial email, providing information and answering my questions and swiftly scheduling me in to see the vehicle the following day.

Once there, Colin provided me information about the car (he is a longtime VW owner) and let me take it for a test drive. We talked through all the financing and were able to close out a deal within the same visit. The vehicle had a very minor rash on the front bumper and Colin was able to have the shop fix it before pickup free of charge.

Once I picked up the car Colin has been super helpful since, following up with check-in emails and answering any random questions I've had come up.

Sales team was very nice Luis hooked me up bigtime allowed me to check on the car prior before purchase multiple times and let me inspect a lot. My very first car purchase and it was simple and understandable with the help from him. 10/10 would reccommend Luis in a heartbeat.give him a raise.

Also Lilli was super helpful in helping me understand the financial aspects of it all.

Sad part about why i didnt review 5 stars is the car detailing on the outside was good but the interior made me quite sad: C

good thing I like dogs cause there was quite a bit of dog hair (possibly a golden retriever) in there but it still had a new car smell. Will be bringing it into a shop to get it re-detailed.

I had a really bad experience with this dealership. I booked a car that someone cancelled earlier and was told that if I change my mind I can still cancel and get the $1000 deposit back. Unfortunately due to financial problems with my company I had to cancel the vehicle and when I told this to the dealership, they didn’t like it. They claimed that there are costs like PDI (didn’t even share full list of costs) which has to be incurred and only gave me 50% of the deposit back. I am pretty sure they will transfer all these costs regardless to a new buyer and the car market is really hot so they won’t be making any loss. But they don’t care about consumers and how not giving the deposit back could adversely impact them. I was told by the manager that he can understand my concern on personal level but business is different. Wanted to check with business if that’s really how it works?

I walk by this place often. Was surprised they have EV chargers and are on the charge point network. Wasn’t impressed that they charge 50$ for 1 hour of charge. Thats roughly 20-30km of range. Most places charge 3$. In fact it’s one of the highest rates in North America according to the charge point rep. The local parking rates around the area are about 10$ an hour. Not really sure why they do it. Maybe to anger EV drivers or convince people not to buy an EV. Isn’t Electrify America a Volkswagen initiative? Just disappointed.

It was my first time buying a new vehicle and Dave was patient and responsive in answering my many questions on leasing vs.financing and I was able to make an educated decision that left me confident and happy with my final choice. I brought my slightly used 2021 Jetta to Volkswagen Downtown Toronto for a detailing job after the dealership I bought it from charged me for a detailing job that was terribly done. What a difference! The entire process was really easy and everyone involved were super friendly and helpful. And what can I say about the results? The cars looks brand new again. They managed to get all the dirt and stains out and thoroughly cleaned and polished the car inside and out. They also applied a ceramic coating on the entire car which makes it shine and repel water and dirt. I would highly recommend this place for detailing. Excellent value and great service.

I brought my car in today to get a spark plug change and spark plug leads. I always bring my car to Humberview VW and they have always been fantastic. I feel ripped off because over the phone I was told the price would be $619 and I agreed to that. When I arrived the pricing was $875. Whenever service people from Oakville VW and Humberview VW call me - they tell me the TOTAL price. I won't be returning for service nor sales to Downtown VW. I also asked to get a quote for how much my car could sell for if I wanted to trade it in, and was not notified. Very unhappy. Plus I have never spent this much on spark plugs or leads before and I have had a BMW in the past.

Recently bought a used BMW from these guys, dealt with David Paradis. I bargained pretty hard, I'm a different sort of buyer, will get a good deal but will never come back to bother them with little issues. When I went to pick up car David spent extra time helping me learn all the new car tech, even checked key batteries and replaced one and emailed me a week later to make sure everything was good. Everything on the car was delivered in mechanically great shape. Thank You David

Luis is the best! My boyfriend and I were shopping for a car for quite some time and visited 10+ dealerships (all different ones) before we found Luis and Volkswagen! He was very patient, answered all of our questions and made every step of the process very easy! Scratched my car - DO NOT COME HERE. Took my Golf R here for its first oil change. Brand new vehicle. Due to the dealerships incompetence, someone must have leaned on the car or rubbed something against it, which scraped the clearcoat as the car was dirty. I instantly noticed as there was a huge mark where the car was free of dust (due to it being rubbed by something) and in its place are the scratches you see below. There is truly nothing more to say. Dealer offered to have their detailers try to fix it - as if I would trust their detailers if they can’t even do an oil change without scratching cars. I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not come here unless you do not care about what your car looks like. It is appalling that VW bothers selling a $50k Golf if the dealerships are lower class than Jiffy Lube.

Bought a 2016 GTI from Colin Sweett. The process was efficient and very smooth. I was kept in touch before picking up my car and after. The Finance was effortless and quick. I got the car in mint condition and with fuel in the tank. Colin helped me transfer items from the car I traded in to the GTI. Hi folks, have you ever has this car shopping experience, nobody reply you after you paid, keeping the original ownership for 4 weeks (still counting) ? I am this "luck" guy, please read my story.

May 22nd (Wednesday) Started to email with Salesman (Wilson). He replied very quickly.

May 23rd (Thursday) Went to the dealership to see the car

May 24th (Friday) Went to the dealership to make the offer, put the deposit, signed the paperwork.

May 27th (Monday) Emailed the Salesman about the insurance policy and which car plate number is preferred and not preferred (he mentioned it when we negotiate the offer). No reply. Called his cell phone, No reply. Texted him, No reply.

May 28th (Tuesday) afternoon Called dealership phone number a couple of times, finally found him. He said he was too busy to check the email. (really? !)
Anyways, set up to pick up the car the next day.

May 29th (Wednesday) He arranged a guy to pick my wife and I up at union station (thanks again). Gave the bank draft to another girl. Noticed the car plate number has a number which we do not like and I mentioned it in the email before. The girl said they may change it, so she kept the original ownership and gave us a copy.

May 31st (Friday) Texted Wilson and asked how was going about the number change. No reply.

. 3 weeks passed. No reply

Jun 23rd A friend reminded me the cop may give a ticket if I do not have the original ownership.

Jun 24th Called the dealership and left a message to the girl (really tired of contacting Wilson). No reply

Jun 25th No reply

Jun 26th No reply. Today is exactly 4 weeks since they keep the original ownership.

What should I do now? Go to the Service Ontario to get new ownership?

Update: After I post this review, Allen called me and apologized. I asked him to mail the original ownership paper to me. Today, I got it.

My experience at Volkswagen Downtown Toronto was a positive one: I recently parted with my beloved old car and leased a new Golf, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Product Specialist Colin Sweett patiently answered all of my questions, thoroughly discussed my options (e.g. Buy vs.lease), and overall provided excellent support and service. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Disgustingly low level of service.
I spoke with Mary Jane the service advisor and requested only licensed tech.should work on my car. Guess what happened she give my car to senior apprentices tech.because he is " good body ". I have remove my car from shop and send it elsewhere. I will not trust to fix even my lawnmower in this dealership.

Have had nothing but good experiences at VW downtown! Drop my car off before work, get shuttled to work and then picked up at the end of the day. The last time I was in, they fixed me recall right up. Highly recommend:)

Great location to purchase a VW. Competitive prices and the vehicles are in a great condition. My representative Colin Sweett was amazing. He is a true VW enthusiast and can help you out in any way possible.

Had a great customer experience with Colin Sweett from VW Downtown Toronto as my Product Specialist! As a car enthusiast it was a pleasure to find someone that shares that same passion for cars. Couldn't have asked for a better person to help me with my first car in Canada. Very satisfied with his work and how he helped me out. If looking for a VW don't hesitate to go talk to Colin!

The dealership worked with me and was able to get me a great deal on the vehicle I was looking for. Car was detailed and received for pickup in excellent condition. Special thanks to Luis for helping me out through the purchase of our new car. Worth the drive from outside the GTA!

Few months ago, I had posted a review about getting good deals about Winter tires and the best service i got during the first visit. But i am here to write a bad review this time. You guys disappointed me this time and i give you 0 ratings. Very bad customer service!
I have tried to reaching out their live chat option through their website 3 times and the agents promised me to give me a call back for my oil and tire change. I thought it will be a good idea to do all my car services at their location and they have not responded to my requests yet. It has been over two month now. Every time I contact them, they say I will get a call soon today and will prioritize my request. If you guys cannot do it, Please, Have the minimum courtesy to let the customer know, you are busy and can not manage the high volume of requests coming through. And if it getting delayed, then tell me for how long, till winter, to change my winter tires lol!

Amazing experience on all levels! Service, sales and customer support far exceeded my expectations. Was my first time leasing a car through the VW Downtown dealership. Mike and Allen went out of their way to ensure my new car had everything I needed despite some misinformation from my previous dealership. They are top class professionals who truly care about customer satisfaction. Couldn't be happier with my new car! Thank you to everyone at VW Downtown. Highly recommended!

I have known him for over 20 years and for as long as I can remember, he has always been 100% passionate about cars—it's quite clear that this is a true, life-long passion for him. Was interested in a Tiguan, approached sales person asked for trade in value for my current vehicle, despite few follow ups no response. Would take my business to someone respects and respond.

Kudos to the whole VW downtown team. Front desk, Luis from sales and Allan the manager. Everyone was polite and attentive without being pushy. Much appreciated. Highly recommend
