Leased a new XC 90 from this dealership. Special thanks to Wasay and Terry for being so welcoming, prompt, willing to negotiate and close. Hardly took us 30 mins to put a deposit and 2 days to collect the car.
Clients are smart these days (at least they think that they are ;) ). They are pretty much aware of whats going on in the market and who is offering what. So apart from a good deal, people expect nice treatment and unforgettable experience and that was there. Will certainly recommend it to friends and come back too.

I went in, was served by a nice and straight forward guy, the way I liked them. Next day I decide to call to ask additional questions. I am going to buy an electric car, and Volvo is not the first company that comes to mind in terms of EVs. Dude that served me isn't in today, but my questions are really basic. The receptionist transfers me to another person who's completely transactional with that typical mentality of someone who does not want to spend time if the commission is not going to go to him. I just hung up. Maybe I will call tomorrow, or maybe i will go with the more famous competitor, who's eating their lunch anyways. With this attitude, it's no wonder.

We walked in and we spoke with John M. He didn't get up, introduce himself or ask us to sit. We asked if we could sit and he ignored us 3 times even while signing something to test drive a vehicle. Very disrespectful and didn't seem like they wanted business or didn't think we could afford the cars which is completely unprofessional. The same day we walked into Subaru, Toyota and Lexus and were treated very professionally and respectfully by the staff there. Will not be coming here again!

My wife and I had our first child 5 months ago and needed to upgrade our car. Volvo having the reputation as the safest cars on the road was naturally one of our first picks. When we got to the dealer it was a busy Saturday but, Porya Hosseini treated us like there was no one else there. He guided us through the whole process seamlessly and even took our previous car on trade in. It has been 2 months now of owning our new XC60 and our family couldn't be happier with the vehicle and the service that was provided!

Even though I didn't end up getting a car from here because of insurance reasons, Terry Short was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was honest with me and showed me everything about the car, I'm a bit of a car guy so he did the deep dive with me. I appreciated the time he put in and I'm actually quite bummed out that I wasn't able to pick up one of these cars. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the market for the safest car out there. Talk to Terry he'll take care of you.

This is the second XC90 that I have bought from Nelson Baptista at Volvo of Oakville. Nelson makes the purchase easy and fair and he’s a very nice guy!

I also continued my relationship with the second car at the Oakville dealership (although there is one closer to my house) because the service department has been fair and thorough and they give me a loaner car when I need one too.

Searching for a new vehicle nowadays "can" be a stressful and time consuming experience. Some dealers will try and persuade you to take what they have on the lot. Personally, I'm quite particular and know exactly what I want, so that doesn't fit in with my expectations. I endlessly searched websites and dealership inventories for my perfect vehicle, but could never find the exact options I was looking for.
Luckily for me, I was introduced to Terry from Volvo of Oakville and couldn't be more satisfied. He took my preferences into account and within minutes he located my vehicle in Volvo's inventory - something I had been attempting to do on my own for some time. He was informative and professional. He listened to what I wanted and took action, while keeping the line of communication open throughout the process.
In addition, he got me the best rate for my trade-in vehicle. I had my trade-in vehicle appraised at two other dealers before meeting Terry, and they offered me "less" than 50% of what I got with Volvo of Oakville.
Needless to say, I recommend Terry and the team at Volvo of Oakville to take the lead and make purchasing a new vehicle more of an enjoyable, simple and relaxed experience altogether.

So happy to have our Volvo!

We waited several months for our fully electric XC40 and could not be more pleased. Terry was incredibly helpful throughout, with prompt replies to emails and phone calls, and updates at every stage. We were debating between trim levels and Terry explained the differences and helped us decide, and when we picked up the car earlier this week, he efficiently and clearly explained the different features and how to use the car to its fullest.

I will never return to Volvo Oakville for either service or to purchase another vehicle. My 2021 XC90 had an airbag light on, and despite it being an urgent issue I couldn’t get an appointment for close to 1 month. When we did finally get our appointment and diagnostics were done, without any explanation I was told it’s not covered by warranty. But of course she couldn’t tell me what was actually wrong with the air bag, just that a sensor was broken/wire severed. I’m not even entirely sure that’s what wrong, because she was so unclear. I probed for more information or details so that we could attempt to avoid this problem occurring again. Again, zero explanation or even discussion as to what had (or could have) occurred. Completely dishonest and honestly incompetent. She just spoke in circles and was uninformed and should not be working in service considering she obviously had no clue what was going on.

One of the cornerstones of having my car serviced at Volvo of Oakville is because of the transparency, efficiency and human touch that this service centre has demonstrated consistently since my first visit many years ago. Volvo of Oakville has earned my trust and respect, and I would never normally consider any other professional to look after the car my family uses daily.

The service reception gone quire bad. I noticed it before but the last time was at the level of a second grade store. I brought my cat for a snow tires change for an hour long appointment. The clerk at the service reception desk was busy on a phone and completely ignored me. About 8 min past my scheduled time I had to interrupt him and request a manager who appeared and my car was brought in. I arranged my schedule around the fact the appointment should take an hour but because of the delay caused by the clerk I had to forsake my complimentary car wash.

Purchased a new made-to-order Volvo in the fall of 2021. Picked it up last week and we absolutely love it (XC 90 T8 Recharge). From day one "just looking", to the purchase, to the delivery, and now to the after sales service, Nelson has gone over and above to make sure the entire experience was friendly, fun and flawless. He spent 2 hours with my wife during the delivery to make sure she was comfortable and knew how to operate everything. I cant say enough good things about Nelson, the entire dealership and the car itself. After spending 5 minutes with Nelson, you will clearly see that this man loves his job and loves this brand. Definitely not your typical salesman. I highly recommend Nelson and the upgrade to the Bowers & Wilkins Sound System!

I usually don't write negative reviews but after hearing what happened to my family after their most recent experience here I don't think I've been this upset about the level of unprofessionalism this dealership displayed. And it is quite disappointing given half of our family are loyal customers of Volvo cars.

My uncle booked a test drive for a certain day online, however the online platform only gives confirmation of the booking with regards to the day and not the time of the day. So him and his family thought it would be right to show up the day of and honour the appointment confirmation and speak to someone at front desk to further assist them.

Now, my uncle and aunt are Korean born citizens, their english isn't perfect. But they brought their daughter (I'll refer to her as my cousin for the purpose of this review) who's first language is english so she speaks just fine. However the initial conversation with the lady at the front desk was shocking. After listening my cousin enquire about the test drive booking confirmation, her immediate response was "Yeah, I'm gonna go get someone who speaks your guy's language". My cousin was quite shocked, and she asserted that while her parent's english wasn't perfect, it's not that hard to understand that all they needed help with was to confirm or set up a booking time for the test drive.

The lady just felt unbothered, so when she went to grab her coworker, or manager, who my family thought would "speak their language", they brought a caucasian man, who gave my family a business card of a Chinese salesperson. My cousin asked him "what makes you assume that we are Chinese? " And he, just like the lady at the desk, felt unbothered to further assist them. They never got the test drive and so they wasted their day.

My cousin came home crying. Her and her parents felt so embarrassed.
I'm not gonna be quick to pull the racism card, but at least give my family a test drive and honour the appointment. Or at least show some effort. What a miserable, poor, sorry display of professionalism.

Treat your customers like this a hundred times and you guys will put yourselves out of business. Would love to hear your response to this review and explain yourselves.

Booked my new-to-me Volvo in for service here. Asked the service advisor very specific questions when I booked to be 100% sure my issue was covered under warranty. He checked with someone else to ensure his answers were correct. When I brought my vehicle in, another service advisor completely contradicted what the advisor on the phone told me and that was after 2 hours of sitting in their waiting lounge. I wasted 1/2 a day because these guys can't agree on warranty coverage.

Even though I live closer to this dealer, they won't get any of my business.

Porya was unbelievable — answered all my question went above and beyond. And showed me ways to buy a car I would have never considered. Brought the car to my parents as they where hesitant to go the dealership. Spent time with them and showed them all the benefits of a Volvo XC40.

Had the pleasure of dealing with their manager, Wasay Sukhera, who was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was referred to Volvo of Oakville by a friend less than two weeks ago.
The attention and prompt professional service I have received is next to none.
Before contacting them I had been shopping around at another Volvo dealership as well as a BMW dealership.
Also, in the past 15 years I have dealt with several other luxury sales reps. For my previous purchases.
None of them have come close to the detail, prompt and professional attention I received from John Mitsopulos.
He was excellent in answering all my questions and meeting all my needs to complete this sale.

Bad Customer Service. My experience with service was negative because the service department was not helpful in solving my auto issues. It ending up costing me much more time to resolve my issue. I would not recommend this location to family or friends.

I bought a used Volvo from a different dealership and brought it in for service at this location. My service advisor Jonathan was knowledgeable, friendly and polite. They took care of me, made sure I had a shuttle so I would be able to get back for work on time and everything. They fixed all the recalls on the car and even fixed the minor details like the trunk lock button not working. The first time I brought it in for the sunroof the situation improved, however I still noticed it shuddering when closing. When I brought it back the second time and complained they fixed the issue completely. They honored their work making sure I was satisfied at no extra charge. I was even given an XC90 as a loaner vehicle when I was not able to drive my vehicle home that day due to the repairs needing time to cure. TL;DR I am happy with the service I received at this location and will be coming back in the future.

Professionalism and experience only begin to adequately describe the effort made by this organization to hwlp us choose the correct vehicle for our needs.safety and comfort were the two criteria of paramount importance. Another important ingredient was our need to deal with an experienced and knowledgeable individual who had the personal skills and technical knowledge to guide us and provide a level of assurance that we so badly needed.

Having had 4 vehicles through this dealer and knowing the team personally and professionally for 10+ years I can confidently say that the sales team is incredibly knowledgeable, the management teams (both sales and service) come with years of sharp result-oriented expertise and the facility is beautifully kept. One can tell that the staff here are passionate about their craft, know how the treat their clientele and work to impress you. We have been dealing with Volvo of oakville for over 20 yrs. Gary sold us our first Volvo more than 20 yrs ago and just purchased our third from him. Tried others but they just dont add up. Right from the purchase to yrs down the road, you are always valued and treated right.

I live in Markham and I was looking for 2020 XC40 in late October, 2020. Not a lot of 2020 XC40s with the prices I was looking at the end of the year. I looked it up online first and I went to Volvo of Oakville and Waterloo.

When I went to Volvo of Oakville, John didn't let me see the actual XC40s that I saw on the website. I totally understand it's because of the pandemic but why didnt he let me see it while I was able to see the actual vehicle that I wanted to see at Volvo of Waterloo?

The prices for the XC40s I saw online and the prices on John's computer for the same ones are totally different. I actually gave those inventory numbers to compare. They were around $49,000 on Volvo of Oakville website but on John's computer, it was 52,000 ish. They both were before taxes. The same thing happened at Volvo of Unionville. This is totally unacceptable.

Whatever interest payment, freight etc that come after is normal BUT total MSRP should be the same no matter it's on salesperson's inventory or it's on online website. Other dealerships tend to upload MSRP for cash purchase. That's why it's lower price online but higher when u go and ask for financing. I believe this is cheating. It should be the other way around. They really should put up the same MSRP online and give discount to customers who wants a cash purchase.

I emailed Wasaga Sukhera afterwards, the manager at Volvo of Oakville. The manager asked me for another appointment to meet again to make it right but it was too late. It was when I already decided to get a 2020 XC60 at Volvo of Waterloo. I don't want to go there again.

Also, I asked John if there's any XC40 T4 Momentums at the dealership but he said there's no T4 momentum in the market even though I saw a few T4s at different dealerships. I was very uncomfortable when he kept questioning where.

In general, he looked like he was unmotivated, not interested in selling vehicles, or even suggesting a different model with similar prices.

As opposed to here, Volvo of Waterloo had the same MSRP for financing 2020 xc40 that I saw on the Volvo of Waterloo website
When I visited Volvo of Waterloo, Giovanni was very kind and polite. THE POLITEST salesperson I've seen among hundreds. Go to Volvo of Waterloo and find him if you want to get a Volvo vehicle. Got called three times to book an appointment to see the "new cars" just arrived at the dealership. I told them that I am only interested in hybrid or electric cars and was told they made a note of it.

When arrived at the dealership, was told that there're just this year's model (this is September).
"The people called you is a 3rd party. We are not responsible for what they said. "

Okay, when they found two of the plug-in hybrids I am interested in, they can only show the 2019 used one.
"We don't show new cars to customers. "

Had an amazing experience with Chris Wawryka selecting an XC40. When you visit the dealership, ask specifically for him. These days when you walk into most dealerships you're barely met with anyone who truly wants to sell you a car. Someone who wants to listen to your needs, bring you through specs, show you the best model and trims, and someone who actually knows what they're talking about and who cares. Chris is the complete opposite of what you normally experience in a dealership in today's world. From the first interaction Chris got my wife and I excited about the brand and helped us to select the model we needed based on our requirements. He was top notch from a communication perspective, really knew what he was talking about, and was very helpful throughout the whole process, even going above and beyond in helping us switch up from an existing vehicle. I have just picked my new Volvo XC40 R-Design from Volvo of Oakville. I couldn't be happier with the SUV. It rides and drives like a dream. It has so many useful and luxury features.
The advisor Chris Wawryka was very professional to deal with. He took as much time as was needed to explain the options in this vehicle.
I will definitely service my vehicle at this modern dealership. Also I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone that they look at the Volvo line of Cars and SUV's for their next car purchase.

We visited this dealership two weeks ago to see XC90. The sales representative Elisabeth gave us a great help. She went with us on the road for a test drive, went through all the tech details of the vehicle, and provided us the quote of the trim that we are interested in. We still have not made decision yet, but we do appreciate her wonderful service.

Service is absolutely brutal. Terrible experience every time I take my S60 in. The service advisor Paul is often rude, non responsive and acts like he runs the dealership.oh wait he does! He's the owners son! Cannot wait until my lease is up in 18 months. I love my Volvo but this dealership has caused me to look at other brands in the future.

I blew a tire on the 400 in the passing lane at about 120 km per hour, my S60 handled incredibly well, I called the service department from the tow truck and told them I wanted to get the car looked at and the winter tires on. The service manager and his team were EXCELLENT, I arrived they did the intake, provided me with another s60 drive and I was on my way in no time. Nice to experience some great customer service!
