Vos Restaurante Argentino

I have been to the restaurant a few times already.
The experience overall and the customer service is great.
The only thing i noticed this last time is the quality of the food was not that great as the first few times i have been there. I ordered a “ meat board” which would be asado in Spanish.i asked for medium rare for the meat, but
Part of the meat “ tira de asado”, was too chewy and had to spit it out, and you have to pay extra for a side which i ordered regular fries and the seasoning made them taste a bit too sweet (these were not sweet potato fries).
I think for the quality of the food their items are way too overpriced, you mostly pay for the atmosphere which is really nice, but other than that, there are better restaurants in the city for a much cheaper price. Would not recommend going there more than once,

It was a shot in the dark but we were amazed with the food, drinks and service. Totally coming again!

Honestly terrible service, bland food, overpriced as well, they came with the bills and we all paid, but my friend had to wait an hour for his bill and when they came with it they said "sorry we undercharged you all so you all need to pay 22 dollars extra" like hello? Honour your mistake after making us wait an hour, terribleterrible

Nice place, great service, the meat is really great. The provoleta is ok but is not properly the same from Argentina and the flan needed a little bit of more cold.

I went with my friends for an Argentinian experience. I had the cheese, date, and pancetta empanada. Simply delicious. Followed with the entrana and fries, best fries I had in a while. Overall a lovely night, with great service and cozy atmosphere. I’ll be back!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Food was below average, service was really bad, seemed like the servers were just mad at everything.
-Steaks weren’t properly cooked. I order mine medium, they served it rare. Our waiter never asked if we were okay with the food.
-Sides came like 30 min after they brought the steaks.
-I required the server to put my food to go, he just gave me the steak and throw the mushrooms. Same happened with dessert.
-They asked us to leave quick (in less than 1.5 hours) because they have another table coming. It was incredibly rude but we collaborated, ate fast and asked for the bill. It took almost 30min for them to bring the check, they never asked if we wanted to split, then 30 min more for them to bring the machine so we can pay.
-Oh! We were a group and they arrange table separate, it didn’t make sense, if we book as a party, we expect to be seated together.
I won’t be back and don’t recommend anyone to visit this place.

I went there 2times.
The first time, it was really nice. And the food was really good.
But the second time was really bad. The meat was completely overcooked. I went there because I think argentian meat is amazing. But if it's overcooked, it just doesn't make sense. It is the main dish! We were five and we ordered a meat platter. We all agreed, meat wasn't good.
The thing is, it can probably happen, sometimes, maybe. But it's an expensive place, so it definitely shouldn't. We paid 100 dollars each. At that price, it is just not possible. If I pay 100 dollar a meal, I expect it to be perfect, or close to perfect.
I think it's a good place, but for 100%, I want to be sure about what I am going to get, and I definitly have doubt about this place.
(And we asked for medium by the way).

Wine was decent - 4 star. It was my first time trying empanadas, wasn’t a huge fan, mostly cheese and bread, not much meat - 3.5 charcuterie board was decent, nothing crazy impressive - 4 star. Wasn’t my cup of tea but wasn’t horrible - decently popular spot

In general, my experience in this restaurant was disappointing. Food was inconsistent and pricy.
When we arrived, the staff was nice and welcoming but unfortunately shifted by the end of the night.
When we finished our main course, the waitress asked if we wanted something else, and when we asked for the dessert menu, the lady told us she could not give us anything else because she needed the table and without hesitation brought the invoice and 5 min later we were out, leaving us very disappointed about the overall experience.
In terms of the food, it was very inconsistent.
Some of the items were ordered were ok, but some others weren't.
The empanadas were the highlight of the night. They were fresh and really tasty. However, the octopus was the first disappointment. We received a very small portion (two tiny tentacles), and the potatoes were completely burned.
The biffe de Chorizo was supposed to be a 12oz piece of meat, but when we received the dish 1/3 of it was Fat. The piece we were able to eat was well seasoned and cooked as we asked.
The drinks were ok.
This was a one time experience. I don't think we will be coming back as the staff, nor the food, were memorable.

The food is fantastic. The grilled mixed meat is super tasty. Grilled vegetables are so much better than boiled vegetables. I like all of them.

Expect Argentinian quality food but savoured up a little to make it acceptable to Canadian test buds. Small restaurant but the vibe is good. Also the servers are helpful and cordial. It's pricey mind you, so plan accordingly. Overall I like it for being a unique place.

Vos is quickly turning into one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The meat is exceptional. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their selection of Malbec's are the best I've seen outside of Argentina. Overall, for the quality of the food and service, it's still a very good value.
Skirt steak is a must.and those fries!

Had a very bad experience where the falafel they serve is frozen. For the winterlicious fest, they opened the basement for dining too which is really squeezy and loud. The waitress didn’t take our concern seriously at all. Will never come back here again.

If you are a bartender or server looking for work, stay away from this place! They do not pay their staff and it is a waste of time.

Host was excellent who we got for Vday. Food was good and on time. Bartender was super friendly. Space was overcrowded and the walkway was too close to my back.

1st time we went, it was awesome (2 years ago). This time, everything was subpar. The octopus was bland, potatos too salty, both pieces of meat were over salted, was more on the rare side (server didnt ask how we wanted it cooked) when everybody would have wanted medium. And last. Worst.quinoa.salad.ever

It was one of the most incredible indoor dining experiences I have had in quite some time. Highly recommended

We were quite disappointed by the quality of food. The service was awesome, super friendly staff. The drinks and appetizers including salad and octopus were okay but the meat platter was a disaster. The meat quality and cooking level were off, short rib was chewy and full of fat, other steaks and chicken were tasteless and blah and sausages were low quality. We couldnt have more than a bite of each. The atmosphere was great and alive.

Beautiful little spot with huge taste
The cheese and meat board was delicious and the dessert was so yummy as well! Try the flan with dulce de Leche?
Definitely check this place out you wont be disappointed

My husband and I ordered from Vos for 240$ so we can find not one hair but two in the French fries, very disappointing for a restaurant like this. Plus we asked for medium well cooked steak but the meat was barely cooked.

Food is good but they take lots of time to have your order ready. This is the second time I order via Uber eats and took 1 hour and 15 min for the order to be ready it’s been over 1.5hours and I don’t have my food yet. Last time was the same, not ordering from this restaurant again.

We were not treated equal as 2 middle eastern females. We saw tables besides us get faster service and when I wanted to ask a question regarding the menu, I was nodded off and ignored!

Water is $8 for a rebottled glass bottle the restaurant rebottled.the woman also pushed or recommended alcoholic drinks on us but we said we were okay with only water! It seems like they treated older Latin Canadian better!

Add on: I’m charged $8 for rebottled regular tap water that the restaurant reuses and I didn’t see any manager who is middle eastern but Latin American because they spoke it with the guests.why should that even matter when my table was not treated equally because we decided not to order or drink alcohol.

Very nice atmosphere, food, and servers. Definitely a solid spot.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the food and wine were simply the best. Probably the best steak I've had. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back!

My partner and I have a been here a few times and have loved it every time. Their empanadas are amazing - super flaky, with wonderful fillings. Food overall is great.

They also do a great job at making some awesome cocktails and features every week. Will definitely be back again!

The Empanadas were good, so was the ravioli.
Meat temperatures were all over the place.
Mashed potatoes were tasty, sweet potatoes were not entirely cooked.
Service was slow and pushy on getting more water (8.5 a bottle)
Music and atmosphere were really nice, cocktails as well.
It’s a nice place, but the staff should have some more training and make sure they are more consistent and provide a better experience.

AMAZING food and drinks! First time here and definitely won't be the last. The owner is super nice!

Food is good but the space is small.

We were in 20 people for a birthday and they accepted the reservation without having a good structure for it.

Excellent service! Fantastic food, delicious wine and knowledgeable servers. Romantic atmosphere for a date, and friendly bar for solo meal. Highly recommend the octopus, steak, pasta, schnitzel.actually, everything is delicious! We go once a month and it’s perfection every time!

Their meat felt like heaven in my mouth.it brought me memories from other argentinian restos in LATAM.but not only that, their salads and other dishes are a delicatesse.all in a very intimate atmosphere.highly recommended. Price is fair for once in a while special ocassion.

You must come here! I was here a few weeks ago for my birthday with my boyfriend. Was very excited to be there and they did not disappoint. My boyfriend is a trained chef and I am super picky. The waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable and the lady manager was great as well. The food was just nothing short of outstanding. Steak was cooked perfectly. The lady manager brought out desert and sang me happy birthday, which was so kind. We got to say thank you to the chefs who you could tell were happy to do what they love. We promised the staff we would be back and we're ready to make that happen again soon.

Tried halibut. The food was good. Not a wide selection of you are avoiding ham for any reason. The staffs are very very friendly. Food prep was bit on slower side. Hard to find parking in the area but not their fault though. Overall good.

The food and service was truly exceptional! If you want a wonderful night out, where you are treated like family this is it.

100/10 — we went here for our anniversary & everything from the service to the food was impeccable! We had the empanadas & chicken wings to start & finished with the beef sandwich & NY steak. We ended up ordering 4 more empanadas to take home because they were SO good. We had the most amazing service; I wish I took the name of the gentleman who serviced us because him & the lovely lady (bartender) will be the reason we come back. The ambiance was very intimate & the architectural was nothing short of beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about this resto — it was above our expectations & i am extremely happy with our entire experience & will definitely be back!

Visited on a Friday evening, in this busy part of town. The staff had a friendly greeting and I was seated outside. There is a comprehensive wine and drinks menu, plenty to choose from. The menu was also very interesting and there was a wide array on offer. First time trying empanadas and I was impressed, the minced beef one was my favourite. I choose the grass fed ribeye steak. This comes on it's own so I ordered the home made fries too. The ribeye was cooked excellently medium rare. As a ribeye as some marbling if you're not prepared for a little fat this could be a bit of concern, however, the marbling gave an excellent flavour. A slight seasoning, yet, not overpowering. Presentation was also excellent. The homemade fries were a good portion and very well done too. Prices are pretty reasonable. Certainly a place to bring someone to impress them.

Having grown up with Argentine food at home, I was delighted with our dinner from Vos. All the rich flavours are there, with delicious steak, sausages and sea food offerings. The empenadas were also delightful with light, flaky pastry and generous stuffing. And real dulce de leche! Delicious! Looking forward to a sit down dinner there soon.

Really authentic and delicious. The Chimichurri was different from what my family makes but it was still really good. The staff were all kind and handled the busy night well. Really clean bathroom too considering how busy they were.

As an Argentine, I visited somewhat skeptical of the authenticity and quality of the restaurant. I was amazed by the great ambience, service and food.

Super tender, perfectly grilled meats. The entraña and the tira were perfect. The staff was super attentive and warm. Claudio, Vincente and staff did great.

Main recommendation would be to have an "asado" option on the menu with a variety of meat cuts in the traditional Argentina style.
