Attended high Tea. Oh. My. God. So decadent and the service was top notch. Felt like a princess doing it!

My best friend and I were celebrating our birthdays and it was one of the best stays we’ve ever had! From the checkin to checkout, every staff we came by was so nice. I had also asked if they had a cake as it was late at night and couldn’t buy any outside, and Linh was so kind enough to talk their team and send us a small cake and letter!

We would 100% recommend and stay here again!

A very nice hotel. We enjoyed the lively vibe, the great breakfast and the pleasant staff. The room was huge but a little dark facing the center courtyard.

Let’s just say this is one of the best hotel I have stayed at. Truly they treat you like family here. I celebrated my anniversary here with my husband and the staff went beyond expectations to make sure that I had an amazing experience. The rooms were clean. The decor was so modern. The drinks and food were exceptional. I will definitely be coming back here and bringing my family. Love this place was worth all the money.

Great location and professional staff. Manager Gener was very helpful and accommodating after some difficulties with the room.

Enjoyed a get-together with friends at 6th floor lounge. Large inside with an outdoor patio, delicious food and drinks.

The staff was amazing, very chill, yet prompt and professional. From last night's experience, I'm going to host a group of friends there very soon.

The Room is Beautiful was on the 11th floor, Nice view of Bloor Street. Service was the best I have ever Experienced Shout Out to Louis and Nisha! Check in was smooth and made the stay wonderful for my friends Birthday. 10/10 for Customer Service. Location is perfect right the the subway and restaurants/ Yorkville.

I went to stay at the W Marriott for work. My flight was cancelled by Air Canada. I then called the hotel to inform them that my flight was cancelled including proof of the flight number and mentioned that I would arrive the next day. I then arrived the next day. Upon arrival, they told me that they had no rooms and that I was a 'no show'. After arguing my case, the receptionist finally found my note that I had indeed informed them. A room was finally arranged an hour later. Upon my return and doing my expenses, I noticed an extra charge on my credit card. I then had to contact the hotel to understand what it was for. It took them a day but they finally came back saying that it was a no show fee? I am still waiting for a refund. Apparently their management needs time to assess the issue. Not sure if being a loyalty member with the Marriott carries any weight. Admin score zero, the hotel is actually ok but you better hope that you have no issues on route and make sure you get the persons details of who you contact. They seem to have selective amnesia.

‏It's a hotel that steals money. It's very bad. I don't recommend living in it unless you want the money to be stolen from your credit card. I withdrew a deposit twice on the same night the first at $514.20 and the second with $150 what's the madness! When the receptionist asked, he told me by mistake and then when asking another employee, he said I don't know!? And when I checked out today, I asked the employee to print an invoice for the two-day residence with the deposit, which was withdrawn twice, she said I can't! Why? Live here if you want them to steal you.

Property defrauded me by charging a rack rate without my consent after check-in when I’m eligible for a special rate.

Needless to say I will not recommend this property for stays. The only thing great about this property is the lounge / bar in the lobby and that’s pretty much it.

Rooms are not as nice as the pictures, but it was clean and everything was fully functional.

Conclusion: Go with St Regis or other top tier Marriott properties in Toronto!

No bathroom - really. Excessive subway noise. Illogical room lighting control. Same monotonous loud music piped into every corner.

They are working on the garage, so there is some construction grinding happening as of July 14th. The music from the courtyard is a too loud in the morning. The louder the music, the louder the people talk. Not exactly peaceful but the hotel was very good despite these issues. Staff was excellent in every way possible. Rooms were very nice and well appointed.

Hotel is recently rennovated and stylish. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are just ok, but well under par for other W hotels or hotels at this price point. The air conditioning doesn't really work beyond a certain point (maybe low 70s Farenheit), so plan on asking for a fan at checkin. No refrigerators either, which is difficult for extended stays.

They Put the W in WOW!

Staying at The W Toronto was an absolute WOW experience! From the moment I arrived, Ali at Valet provided top-notch service, making me feel like a VIP. The check in process was uplifting and welcoming as the staff was excited and offered me a welcome drink. The luxurious and trendy atmosphere of the hotel instantly caught my attention. The culinary creations by Chef Keith in The Living Room were simply delightful, and Brian my server made my dining experience even more enjoyable. The upbeat and vibrant vibes throughout the hotel truly set it apart from its other luxury competitors. Oh and let's not forget about the "WOW" suite I stayed in, it was like living on a movie set making it a great option for hosting a few friends. Thank you, W Toronto, for putting the "W" in WOW!

The Great!
Rooms are high tech (touch screen for blinds, screen, mood lighting, service, temperature). One control is near the door and the other by the bed.
- Very Clean, Smell pleasant, luxurious soaps
- The Shower, the mist hand held shower was very relaxing
- Service, from the moment I was greeted by front desk, to almost every staff I encountered in the corridor’s were all friendly
-multiple restaurants on site
- overnight Security
- Gym

The Ok:
- A bit of a maze, you almost have to run a marathon depending on where your room is located, walked twice, couldn’t find the ice machine as the door wasn’t label
-Walls are thin, I was woken up before my neighbours who were having a good time at 2am.
-Internet connection was a hit and miss.
- bathroom frosted door does not provide much privacy

Nice details throughout the building. Hotel staff were lovely to deal with.
The only thing that bugged me was the thermostat had an annoying blinking backlight that kept me awake at times.

I stayed at the property for 25 days because of a renovation going on in my home. The staff were excellent! Especially Karl, Brianna and Emmanuel! They all took the time to talk and make my stay that much better! I will definitely come back under much better circumstances next time! Love all of you there!

There are 35 places this mother’s weekend decorated with beautiful flowers Presented by Porsche. Have a nice walk with your mom and girl friends.

My friends and I did the High Beau-Tea and we were delighted by the attentive service (special shout out to our lovely server Brian!) and the delicious and well-balanced array of savory and sweet food. The presentation of the beauty boxes was top notch and very fun. The decor at the Living Room space was a refreshing change of pace too.

In addition to the high tea items, highly recommend the Flower Power drink as well.:)

Easily the best high tea experience I've had in a long while.

W Toronto is amazing. From the moment you step into the hotel, you are greeted with amazing service. All the staff throughout the hotel are so kind, upbeat, and accommodating.

I stayed at the W Toronto back in December of 2022 as a bit of a treat for my 21st birthday. It was truly the perfect choice. I really recommend this hotel for young adults. The interior is beautiful and the hotel is lively. The rooms are modern, well designed, well decorated, and clean. Every inch of the hotel is just breathtaking—even the hallways look otherworldly. Also, I can’t forget to mention the champagne vending machine, such a cool addition!

I’ll definitely be staying here again!

This is a nice hotel with perfect location. Room had everything you would need with the exception of slippers. With sucb price in any other hotels a slipper was left for use. Mini bar & snack bar was complete but on a very pricey side. There was water in room but I like my water cold and there was no fridge to cool it. One thing about this hotwl is that they marked their staff only areas as "talent only", so literally they were saying none of their guest was talented enough to get in there. Overall you can find better places in TO with such price.

Ok before I bash this hotel I have to put out this one disclaimer: I'm more there low-key, Park-Hyatt type versus the W hotel type which I would charitably describe as nouveau-richy, flamboyant. If you like pounding dance music in the lobby, elevator and hallway, you’ll be right at home in the W bubble. If you compulsively need to take Insta selfies in the elevators, lobby, dinner table and God knows wherever else, you've met your Mecca at the W. If you like soundproof rooms with functioning air conditioning, don't stay here. When I was there in August the rooms were as stuffy as a car trunk. On the other hand, if you like a room that's a tad asphyxiating, the W is your place. Ok, I know I'm being a bit harsh. But in all seriousness, if you like to party with pretty people, I honestly think the W would be blast. I will say the bartender (can't remember his name but I think he had nail polish on) had the personality of an undertaker. If he's still there, I think they should move him to the boiler room or perhaps shuffle him into housekeeping (who actually were truly terrific, friendly and helpful). Oh one more thing. I will hand it to the W. The rooms are very well styled. Like they're sexy. But for some reason they've merged the bathroom with the wet bar so you literally step out a steamy shower into a cold bathroom/kitchen where you have to shave in the front room with leave no privacy if you have guests.

Stayed here for a night. Room was cute. Expected it to be more spacious. Bed was comfy. I think I was expecting more…

1. Front desk was always friendly and willing to listen to our needs.
2. Room was clean and trendy. Technology stuff was implemented, such as power control in the room.
3. Parking should not be a problem, except you are driving an over-height vehicle (1.8m)

Great renovation but the lighting in both bars / restaurants is SO bright at night that it totally kills the vibe and experience, likely why it’s always empty. They even keep the emergency overhead lights on. Have been 3 times and it’s the same each time. Will not return. Simple fix!

Don't expect this hotel to take into account if you're an elite member with Marriott. I called in earlier to see if I could get a nicer room with an outdoor sitting area (Not a suite) and the desk confirmed it and it was reflected on my reservation. But once I checked in, it turned out they changed me back to a standard room and when I went up, found out, and when back to the front desk, The agent said she didn't see anything on file about it, and that they had no rooms available. It's only after calling her manager, and he cleared one to be cleaned and setup did she accommodate it. I've traveled to over 30 different properties, with several in the same luxury category as the W, with incredibly better service and acknowledgement of the loyalty to Marriott. The Staff is relatively nice otherwise, including the restaurant and the bar team. And the overall ambience and atmosphere of the hotel including the rooms are definitely premium in line with the W Brand. Traffic is heavy and the parking can be a little bit of a maze to get through.

I visited the W Hotel at 90 Bloor Street, just east of Yonge during the Fluers de villes. It has opened in the prime location of Bloor- Yorkville in the location of the former Marriott Hotel that underwent a rebrand and $40 million renovation. The hotel is conveniently located right next to subway station.

The hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, and adjacent to the bar called the "Living Room". You can find a vending machine selling Möet & Chandon Champagne! There is a fabulous outdoor patio off of the lobby too. Fluers de villes mannequin was displayed on this lobby

We grabbed a snack at the Schoolhouse Cafe at street level before heading out to do shopping at Yorkville village.

Their beautiful Skylight Rooftop Bar opens at 5: 30 pm.lts worth checking out with friends for a glass of drink.

Overall the hotel decor is really grand. Colours of gold, rust, orange and teak wood makes the ambience very appealing.

Meh overall. Nicely and newly renovated hotel and rooms, but the elevators are extremely loud at night making it difficult to sleep if your room is close to the elevator bank. The dining options in the hotel were also just mediocre.
