Waddles'n'Wags Animal Haven

Its a really awesome experience! Not rushed at all and we get so much knowledge. Violen (sorry if the spellings are wrong) is extremely knowledgeable and has a tonne of information. You can ask her anything about anything you see there and she can explain everything in immense detail. They have a nice atmosphere where they put in lots of work to help these cute animals out!
This is not to miss if you are in the area. PLEASE BE GENTLE AND PATIENT WITH THE ANIMALS!

We had an amazing experience at the animal haven! The owners were extremely kind and welcoming. You can see their love and passion for what they do, very hard work. We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity and the incredible creatures that we were able to actually interact with. An experience with the animals I think you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Thank you for adding such a memorable time to our trip!

Absolutely disgusting! The animals are treated very portly and the owner pushed me into an emu cage. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time! Waste of money and gas. Smelled very bad, please clean the poor animals cages!

The most amazing experience. Leslie is such a kind soul and is doing great work. She has so much love for all the animals and you can see the animals feel the same way about her. Daryl was a wealth of information and we enjoyed interacting with all the animals.

Such an amazing place to visit if you ever get the chance. They charged 40 dollars a car to come in and see their recuse animals from all around the world. The family who owns the place is super kind and down to earth, plus they even let us in the cages to pet the animals This place was an animal lovers dream. You can really tell how much they care for the animals they've rescued. Next time I'm in the area I will certainly be back. Also the directions are wrong on Google but if you call they are happy to help you find the place.

This place was great! It's a little sketchy when you come up the road, but once you're in and speak to staff, they are fantastic! They give an awesome experience and are very informative for each animals. You get to be very interactive as well which my kids loved. Would definitely come back!

Went with my 6 and 4 year old along with my parents, and we all had a blast. One of THE most interactive places I have ever been! There are so many animals! I found it on Facebook, which shows that they allow bookings on there, and just an FYI they don't use Facebook to book! You must call! They were really amazing and fit us in. From petting an Emu, porcupine and wallaby, to holding an Amarillo, alligator and bunnies, being face to face with their gorgeous serval Corina and getting to pet her was amazing as she sat in their tomato garden, seeing their beautiful peacock, and having a fox play with me like it was my own was incredible! My kids loved watching the tortoises follow us around and seeing the turkey gobble away! I wish I lived closer otherwise I would definitely come more often! Definitely if/when I'm ever back in this area we will for sure visit again! The people are friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely love their animals! I would prefer to come here over any zoo 100%! There are so many more animals as well! I went on a sunny day and it was about 21 degrees celsius. From what I understand it is best to try and go when it is not too hot and not rainy as the animals hide and they do not chase them out! Definitely a memorable experience!

Great little zoo. Family operated. We had a personal tour by the owners who really love their animals and are very friendly. Lot of picture taking opportunities. Highly recommended. Would visit again!
