It is beautiful, but lots of mud and water holes. Places for kids to slip etc I'd go back just not with My children

I usually take the TransCanada trail which is close by but sometimes it's fun to walk the trail that goes around the quarry. I've seen a lot of wildlife in this area like foxes, deer and many varieties of birds like Bluejays and Cardinals. Not to mention on one occasion the pond was full of white Swan looking birds which I've never seen that many in one location before. Definitely a great location for bird watchers and photographers.

If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot, surrounded by nature; a place to bring your dog for a walk or a swim; or even just a place to get away from the everyday stress/problems/worries ect.then look no further, cause this is the slice of paradise that you will love to escape to. If you're a photographer looking to capture breathtaking scenery or perhaps a rock-hound looking to discover your next treasure, this is a place anyone and everyone will fall in love with. Its a private paradise, that seems as close as your own back yard and is large enough for everyone to call their own personal escape.

Hunting lands. Use caution at all times. Do not interfere with active hunting as it is illegal.

Beautiful quarry! Lots of places to sit and hang out. Great hiking trail with a vast amount of flora to see!

Beautiful conservation area which is also fairly quiet and fully immersed in the vegetation. The water is also very clean to swim in!

We were out for a cruise in our hot rods ans saw all the horses in the water. Lookedlike a lot of fun and we will definately be a customer at another time.

Would not recommend you take your dogs on this hike. Appears to be the local party place Broken glass everywhere. Very disappointed.

I love this spot for its versatility. Nice hiking/path trails to walk the dog. There is also a beach area on the lower level to one side and the rock quarry to the other, both suitable to spend a day swimming and lounging. Parking can be a bit challenging at times in the warmer months, however there is more parking on Lakeshore Rd if you're comfortable with a 3-5 min walk to the quarry.

Great place for a hike, there are trails along the water and Camelot beach can be accessed heading south down Bessey road.

A beautiful walk with the dog, you could easily spend a good amount of time here. The friendship trail runs beside it so enjoy both. Planning to bring the canoe back in the summer

Great place for teaching kids about fossils and the world of the past. Just be sure to leave all the fossils you find behind for others to enjoy!

Very nice and quiet but tiny beach. Water is bit dirty and its worth if you like little privacy and quiet beach.

I am so glad that I took the day to visit here, as the water was nice and warm. It is one of those undiscovered Treasures of Ontario

Would have given 10 stars as it's a great swimming spot but getting a parking ticket on the hottest day ever is not acceptable

Wainfleet conservation and beach area was a nice place to relax and get some sun. We reat enjoyed the quietness (that was not crystal beach or the likes). Found parking easily and a short walk to either the Quarry swim area or the beach further south.

It's a shame that there seemingly had a lot of beer cans, garbage, cigarette butts, etc in the conservation area / wetlands.

Limited places to park but plenty of things to see, wildlife, and trails to hike. Beautiful conservation area.

Hidden gem, historic and one of the few places in Niagara where you can still get lost! Can be very muddy. It is a big after all!

This place gets very busy in the warmer months with swimmers, the Northside of the quarry can become very smelly with the black sludge at the bottom.

My wife and I enjoy going there to relax and get some sun. The water at the parking end of the old Quarry is bathtub hot. Most of the kids hang out at the far end because they enjoy jumping off the cliff in to the cooler waters. The parking lot takes about 8 cars. It is called Gordon Harry Conservation Area. So peaceful and a steady breeze off of Lake Erie. Take a short drive down Quarry Road and at the end of the road is a small public beach right on the Lake. Use Highway 3 as your main road to Quarry Rd. About a 45 minute drive from the Falls areas.
