I am deeply disappointed and shocked by the complete lack of compassion and assistance that my mother received at Walmart, located at 1200 Blvd Alphonse-Desjardins, Lévis, QC G6V 6Y8, precisely when she needed help the most. My trust in this store, where I used to work, has been shattered by the heartless treatment she endured from the managers and customer service team. On July 31st, around 4: 00 PM, my mother found herself in a dire situation after being involved in a car accident earlier in the day while coming to visit us from Montreal. Fortunately, she emerged without any significant injuries, but her car was completely wrecked. To compound the situation, her phone was destroyed in the accident, leaving her unable to contact us. With no other alternatives, my mother sought refuge at the Walmart store where I used to work, hoping to get assistance in reaching me. She approached the customer service desk, typically a place associated with aid and support, only to be met with shocking neglect and indifference. Despite being a customer in need, the customer service staff heartlessly denied her simple request to contact me. Their reasoning? They couldn't verify her relationship with me. It is difficult to comprehend that a company equipped with an advanced database system, which undoubtedly contains comprehensive employee information, would be unable to offer a helping hand to a customer in need. The actions of the managers and the customer service team are inexcusable. In a store that claims to prioritize its customers and employees, my mother's pleas were callously ignored. She was left to fend for herself in her desperate situation, a shocking abandonment that raises serious questions about the values and ethics of this specific Walmart store. By a stroke of luck, a compassionate employee from the electronics section stepped forward and lent my mother his phone, finally allowing her to reach me. It is incredibly ironic that an employee demonstrated more empathy and kindness than those specifically tasked with providing customer service and managing the store. The attached images vividly depict the extent of the damage my mother's car sustained during the accident. The potential for severe injuries, or worse, was very real, yet the Walmart management failed to recognize the urgency of the situation. It is astonishing that a corporation of this size, which claims to be dedicated to community and customer satisfaction, could so heartlessly overlook someone in such pressing need. In conclusion, my experience at Walmart on July 31st was nothing short of a devastating disappointment. The complete absence of compassion and assistance during my mother's crisis serves as a stark reminder of this store's misguided priorities. I appeal to Walmart to seriously reconsider its commitment to both employees and customers, and to foster an atmosphere of genuine care and support. Until such changes are implemented, I can only caution others to approach this particular Walmart store with caution, especially if they anticipate needing help or empathy.

The online delivery service is awful. Continually damaging products before they are delivered. Most of the time the delivery people call me for help to bring hte groceries from their car to my apartment as they are not provided the equipment they require to make the delivery themselves. The customer service is based overseas and it is difficult communicating with them. Overall I would have to say the entire corporation is run by the IQ Challenged. The business model is designed to fail.

I am writing to make a formal complaint to Walmart Canada Corporate about the price gouging that is going on in your stores. The prices are absolutely obscene and there is absolutely NO reason for all these price hikes. Something that I bought a couple of months NOW was $2.00 more, why? This corporation needs to start putting prices back down where they used to be pre -Covid. This corporation made its money during the pandemic. Walmart used to be a store that you could count on with reasonable prices and good quality products. Shame on this corporation and to all that made this decision of price hikes. Help Canadians. We are all struggling right now and it would be nice for ALL of us to get a break, especially in the pocket book.

Just shopped at the Brantford King George Road WalMart. Customer service by the lady at customer service was unacceptable. When a customer has a complaint try to make it right.dont make excuses. Looking for item.was told to go to front of the store. He did not know. I would rather he said.not sure if we have the product, but I will check. I blame management.should be better trained. I know all stores are understaffed.not sure whose "fault" that is! But this is also unacceptable. Not happy! Some might say oh well thats what you get at walmart. All customers in all stores should be treated better.

Totally dishonest about their returns. Walmart had arranged a pickup for my return twice already. They did not pick it up and I am totally disappointed at this big corp.wasted two days of my time waiting on the pickup.

Online shopping with Walmart is nothing but frustrating more items are out of stock and the items that are suppose to be in stock are substituted so few of the items actually ordered are received
and amazing to me most 2% milk is also out of stock for 3 weeks now but well there is one we still can receive for a few cents under $10.00 if I need to go to Safeway for Walmart"s out of stock items while I'm there will purchase all I need Walmart you need to take s look at so many compliments even big companies and show loses when there are do many people choosing to shop elsewhere

Your online process is very unorganized and your so called customers service help Center is absolutely disgusting rude low quality sound and no power to resolve your mistakes! Let me state I was a Walmart Manager my order was to be shipped and picked up at a Walmart location. It never arrived and I waited almost one month for my refund. Your head office does not look for solutions.you can bet on losing millions of clients due to lack of customer care! Never again will I order via Walmart!

My order 7292384001917 was never delivered although the delivery company claimed they did. I checked with neighbours and our cameras and saw nothing. When I reported this it seemed like I was in the wrong even with the escalation department. I have filled out the declaration form twice and been on the phone countless times. This is ridiculous customer service especially if someone thinks I'd try to take advantage of a situation for a mere $30 purchase. Worst experience ever with an online purchase. Maybe your company should take a page of customer service from Amazon or Ebay

Customer services is nonexistent. On hold for 29 mins for customer service counter finally gave up. In store customer service agents far a few to be found. Coquitlam BC second self checkout has been closed for many weeks and til checkout is also maybe 1 or 2 out of the many registers.
What’s happening? I’m tired of hearing there is no staff. The pandemic is long pass.

Walmart's pricing strategies as they call them instore are a joke. I went on line to look for an air mattress with good reviews on walmart's website that was not an online purchase only. I found one that had good reviews in stock so I went to Walmart to purchase it. I grabbed it from the shelf and took it up front only to find out that instore it is $159 but online for $114. They said pricing can be different online from instore and they cannot honor the pricing on their website. I asked to speak to a manager and the first one said they encourage people to buy online as it is lower overhead. I said that is ridiculous, I am here now and have the product in my hands. He said to go buy it online. I spoke to a manager higher up and he said it is company policy. I could go buy it online and come back in an hour and get the one I have in my hands now. I said that was ridiculous. Apparently they get a ton of complaints about this. The manager said he could not do anything about it. BUY FROM OTHER STORES. Shop at Real Canadian Superstore, Costco, anywhere else where they do not do that.
I would give Walmart Canada a negative review if it was possible. That is deceptive pricing practices.

I’ve been trying to get help from customer support, but today they seem to be having trouble figuring out the address that I have on file (the same one they have been delivering to for three years). I’ve been on hold for a manager twice already this morning with no answer after an hour of letting the phone ring. Trying to figure out if they are incompetent today or if Walmart customer support has been accessing my account without actually confirming my information.

I have been going, to the train yards location in Ottawa.
For about two years, now prices missing shelves a mess.
The past year this, location has dropped there customer service.
Going forward I think, I will try bank street.

Placed an online order for pick up and never received any confirmation. When it was time to pick up my order I still hadn't received any confirmation so I called the online customer service. They said they couldn't help me so I asked for a supervisor and they hung up on me. I tried their chat function instead the second time. They couldn't help me because I had to call the store directly. Called the store they said I have to come into the store for them to help me. I explained I am 4 hours drive one way which includes a ferry ride for $115 to cancel the online order that they haven't picked yet that says delayed but they have no idea why it's delayed and won't look into themselves. They said I would have to come pick it up whenever it finally is ready (it's already past my pick up time) and I placed the order 2 days ago! It's only 2 items, 4 total quantity. It was supposed to be picked up now but they said wait until the end of the day for the update. End of the day? For an order that had a timed pick up? That was placed 2 days ago? I am not asking my friend to drive a second day to pick it up on my behalf when he lives an hour away and was going to be near there anyway so now I should inconvenience him for 2 hours of driving because they can't figure out how to pick 2 items? Wow! Just wow. Once I get my refund I will never shop at any Walmart again! It was a big mistake ever shopping there to begin with. No common sense at Walmart! You either need some serious training of common sense to your customer service people. Ridiculous. No wonder your locations have terrible ratings.

I have been struggling to get support from your offshore call center with regards to my online order. After weeks of a lost item that was supposed to be delivered to a Walmart store near me (~15 mins from your distribution center), the order was cancelled. Order was valued at $500 for 1 single recliner. How someone loses track of an item that big is beyond me. The escalation team was looking into this for ~3+ weeks. I was never given anything more than an automated email. The call center agents would leave notes on my file as I followed up several times and I was never provided any support or real resolution.

Eventually I was fighting to have my order cancelled and money refunded, but was told that they could not do that until the escalation team closed their case. I gave up and eventually they did refund me but I received no closure notes or follow up to end the conversation. This was after a total of ~6 week or more since the date of order.

I was later able to order the item, but had to pay for shipping to my house (to ensure the same issue didn't happen this time) and also had to purchase it full price as previously it was on sale. This netted out to a difference of $100 which I incurred.

Your agents offshore are able to do nothing, the chat and email routes to the same group and frankly I'm shocked that you don't do an operations evaluation of your contract with this outsourced call center. The missed SLAs, negative service reviews and countless complaints listed here should give you more than enough reason to renegotiate with a better service provider.

Needless to say, I will never be shopping with Walmart Canada anymore as a matter of principle for the now 8 weeks of inconvenience I have had to endure, without once being contacted by someone who can actually provide customer service.

I spoke with the receptionist about speaking with Alex from Loss Prevention. She said give me your information and I will forward it to Alex and we agreed. Then she got aggravated because I called twice. I told her it was nice speaking with her and hung up.

I followed up 2 weeks later to speak with Alex and the phone continued to ring for 10mins. When the receptionist answered the phone she had a very nasty unprofessional attitude. I think she answered the phone with "I spoke with you before why are you calling. "

I stated "I would like to speak with Alex" She said " Alex has no extension which I know is false. I then asked for an email and she said "I can take your contact and pass it forward" I said " I believe you already collected my contact details. "

She then says " I gave them to him but he probably didn't call you because of what I told him! " I said " excuse me! What did you tell him? " She said " I told him you were talking down to me"

I never speak down to anyone especially in a professional work setting therefore she lied. I asked her "How was I talking down to you? " She couldn't give an example so she then says something vague. "Your tone says a lot" she says. I then proceed "Well what did my tone say? " She deflects " I have other callers so are you going to give me your information or not. " I said " Absolutely not, I would not want to be represented by you and I find it unbelievable that Wal-Mart has someone like you greet everyone that calls into the corporate office. Her character was disgusting, she had proven to be a liar, manipulative, full of resentment and a attitude that says I want to fight with you and everyone that calls Wal Mart.

I will be following up with her executives and her bosses in the upcoming weeks. She needs to treat people better than that, I'm sure I'm not the only one. And the thing is if we were face to face she wouldn't be talking like that.

I placed an online order & completed the requested survey indicating all the Marketplace offers made online ordering difficult. I received a "try us again" offer of $10 off.

I tried to use the offer and couldn't enter it. Phoned customer service for help, but the person I spoke with wasn't able to enter the offer like most businesses are able to. After extensive time, they said they would forward the issue to their resolution team, who would phone me. I waited 2 weeks with no call from resolution.

I then accessed online chat, who had me clear my cookies and go incognito to enter the order, and gave me an email address to contact if that didn't work. It didn't work, so I contacted the email address.

Throughout the delay, the offer expired. A few emails back & forth, & customer service via email asked me to forward the offer, which I did. I didn't get a response, so decided the effort wasn't worth the offer, and let it go.

I then get an email approx. 2 weeks later saying they were going to place a solved status since they didn't hear from me. I emailed back to say I'd answered them, but didn't want the offer after all. I'd call it closed, rather than solved.

They repeated themselves several times after that asking the same - send the email with the original offer, which I'd deleted when I chose due to the stress to not use the offer.

I couldn't find anywhere to write corporate office to let them know how convoluted their customer service procedure is, so I emailed the contact for disabilities, since I am disabled, & the experience caused me great stress. Disability asked me for the original email, even though I'd given the incident reference number, attached emails with all the experiences, and indicated in my email to them I didn't want the offer anymore, just wanted them to know how bad their customer service procedures are.

Lo and behold I got an email today from the original customer service email address telling me the incident is solved because the offer expired. Yes, of course it did, since it took forever and many different points of contact attempting to get resolution.

Done with Walmart and looking forward to the return of Zellers.

They need to revamp their refund procedures to the customer and there escalation department says they will call you back but it's just their way of avoiding you until you give up. Terrible customer service.

They should be given negative stars instead of the one! I was invited to use online grocery shopping and offered a copon code, which I was supposed to be able to use 3 times if ordering 100 dolars worth of grocery or more. But when I did order that amount, and two days later, just before I started on my way to pick my goods, I received an email from Walmart to the effect that they did not have enough of the item I ordered, so the quantity was reduced, so that they the copon was taken off, and I was to be charged without the rebate. Also, even trying to order a second time, the item being still available in sufficient quantity, I got the messsage that the copon could be used "only for the first-time online grocery orders". I felt cheated!

What more, when we cancelled the order, or they did, they still charged my credit card!

Shame on you, Walmart!

Ordered online 1 item got cancelled the next day because they can’t figure out how to keep their inventory accurate.
I received my other item at my house, the box was damaged on the outside & when I opened it up my bins I ordered were all broken. I called in and they said there was nothing that can be done. I had to return it & wait for a refund & place a new order myself.
They didn’t offer any compensation & wouldn’t send me new items. I’ve never had to deal with a company that wouldn’t do the above.
Walmart is unprofessional, products clearly can’t hold up, and just over all disappointed with their services.
