Great clinic and service! My family and I have seen Dr. Sadek and Dr. Stern. Both are great Doctors. The front desk Maria also have provided outstanding service.
Extremely horrible experience with Dr. Joshua Stren. He is very unprofessional with the patients and tends to leave them in pain and dying and refers them to wait until things get worse. Not recommended at all
I feel very depressed after visiting this clinic. Dr. Joshua leaves the person dying and does not care at all. He shouldn’t be a doctor as he has no knowledge about anything
I usually don't have a problem when I walk in, but they never answer their phone when I try to call ahead. I'll even get their voicemail after 1 or 2 rings which tells me they're hanging up on me.
It takes 5 minutes for me to ask if they can help me with something, but I have to call over a dozen times before someone actually answers.
Extremely quick with helping me despite the busyness. Staff were reasonably friendly despite noncompliance from patients with protocols. They pretty quickly caught on to me being trans without my input and recorded my preferred name and pronouns. Clinic closes at 6PM I think, not 9PM.
Edit: They appear to have updated their hours. Hurrah!
Went to the doctor today Dr. Stern the ginger guy, he told me to go to urgent care to get something done, when I went to urgent care and waited 4 hours there, they asked me if I had a referral letter I said no, they called the clinic jack nathan and jack nathan told urgent care that we never told this patient to go to urgent care and to wait until “it got better” then go to urgent care. This clinic basically gaslit me in front of a 3rd party and made me look bad in public after literally wasting 4 hours of my time at urgent care where they told me to come back ……
The doctor never told me to “wait for it to get better then go to urgent care “ I had the medical condition for 2 years I told him so why would something that hasn’t gone away for 2 years go away in a week or so?
Receptionists doesn’t want to answer the phone. They close early on multiple occasions even when telling some one they could arrive close to close for what ever reason I’ve arrived over and over and the doors are locked, mind you i only need a signature from the doctor that’s in
Dr. Faizah Ilyas was rude, condescending, careless and unprofessional. She failed to listen to the my concerns and address symptoms regarding my medical condition and feeling unwell. She refused to review old blood work, order new blood work or other diagnostic testing, send referrals, or address symptoms, and did not explain why. Finally, she stated she could not do anything for the me, and hung up! Horrible doctor!
5 + stars! Amazing receptionist staff! My Fiancé and I are newer patients and each time we check in, we are greeted with smiles, and remembering our names. Our Dr is really nice and knowledgeable as well! So lucky to have found them! Amazing medical practice! Thank you for being so welcoming and friendly!
I waited 18 hours at the hospital yesterday and nothing was done so I came to this clinic this morning. The Dr. That saw me is amazing! Super bedside manners and great care. I was in excruciating pain when I came in and left feeling instant relief. Receptionist is phenomenal and very good at her job! Thank you so much!
Can't get through on the phones and the voicemail is always full. They offered us a family doctor, great, until you need them to call you to refill a prescription because "clinics don't do that", (refill a prescription without you seeing a doctor first), ummm a clinic may not but a family physician can. Was told the doctor would call, ALL DAY WINDOW they gave, had my phone on me in meetings, every minute, NO CALL. Finally got ahold of them via email and they told me the doctor would call between 4 and 6. NOTHING. Prescription has now not been filled for 2 weeks doing this chicken dance and 9 days without taking a daily dose, now I'm off to the hospital due to excoriating stomach pain. The Prescript was for GERDS not like it was Fentanyl or something! DONE with this place, get some competent staff Jack Nathans!
Response below was quicker then response from the Clinic itself, LOL! WOW! And to answer I have sent multiple emails to the clinic. THEY either don't answer or I get appointments made that never happen as said in my review. My last email was to be removed from the doctors Roster, your not getting paid for NOTHING.
I've been trying to call this clinic for almost 3 months to get a copy of my blood work and they haven't gotten back to me at all. Unprofessional conduct - I'm lucky that this hasn't impacted my health care in a significant way.
Unbelievably Mis Communication with staff and doctors at this place! Doc was suppose to call at 3PM. He calls at 1 Pm when I'm not home! Suppose to call at &PM? Neve calls!
I never would of thought to review a walk in clinic but when it's deserved I think you should take the time. This was my third visit to this clinic as I have been looking for a DR. Each time the front staff is always very warm, welcoming and professional. I was told I was lucky because I waited no more than 10 minutes both times I visited.
Dr. Sadek is super friendly and easy to talk to. I never felt rushed and know he has my best interests at heart. I was even lucky to learn that they are accepting patients. Thank you all for your professionalism and kindness.
Have been there for about 2 3 time never had issue, just to raise one thing up that doc will there only till 5 pm even though it shows clinic will up and running till 6pm, receptionist last leaves at 5.30 or 5.45pm so technically it’s not open till 6pm.so if you are heading up for the clinic after 5 pm thn you must have to keep your options open!
Great staff and helpful doctors! The staff are friendly, informative and fast paced. Though some places just brush you off like another patient, the staff here are welcoming. They get you in and out, which is great for people who don't like to wait or are in a rush, and at the same time the doctors know what you need to get better! Just follow their prescription and advice, you'll get better in no time! Way better than the hospital!
Open hours do not reflect actual open hours especially on weekends. I called in before going and hours mentioned in the auto reply were showing they are open. When I arrived it turned out that they were closed and when I called again the clerk picked up and it turns out that do not work on weekends! At the clinic there was no sign whatsoever mentioning their open hours! Such a waste of time and effort.
Excellent service very inviting atmosphere by the receptionist and the Dr was extremely polite and engaging with me. I also got in very quickly and didn’t have to wait long. My experience was great at this location definitely best walk in clinic in the Hamilton area.
I'm 99% sure this "clinic" is a scam. Their hours are inaccurate, they don't clarify it's only cash which makes no sense that they can't accept other forms of payments and they will hassle you if you need proof of receipt/documentation of any tests you do. Please go somewhere else that's respectable and an actual clinic not these scammers.
This is worst walk-in clinic I have ever been. I went their for a simple prescription renewal today and found they did not have a doctor their. Talked to the receptionist, horrible, absolutely horrible attitude. Very impolite, rude, and indifferent. That thin female receptionist did not even wasted her free time to answer my question even she was alone. Who would want to talk to such a rude person? Do your best to avoid this clinic. It is much worse than before.
Called first thing in morning and gave my information. The receptionist said the doc would call between 1-3pm. I called at 3: 15pm because I had not heard from the doc. The receptionist said that he was busy and assured me he would call before he went home at 6pm. I never heard from him. I waisted a whole day on this doc. Would not recommend this doc or clinic.
My sons eyes were swollen it was 5: 30pm and our paediatrician wasn’t answering. Brought him here just to see if they could see him and they fit us in right away! The Dr was very helpful, nice and good beside manor!
This is the third and final time I attended this clinic and found there were no doctors available. Almost every weekend there have been no doctors available and during this weekday again no doctors. How can you run a clinic with no doctors?
Seemingly nice and good but tons of miscommunication, test results lost and months of waiting for referrals for appointments completely in wrong part of the province.
Absolutely wondering to me as soon as I walked in. Greeted me kindly and helped answer all my questions. Wait times was not that long. I would definitely be going back. Thank you very much
FIRST thank you to all the front line workers working through such crazy times I can't imagine it being easy! Great walk in clinic, everyone is very friendly and kind, wonderful place to go Id definitely recommend it to anyone!
RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE, DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER LOOKING UP FROM THE COUNTER WHEN WE CAME IN FROM THE POURING RAIN. JUST BLUNTLY SAID DOCTOR WAS NOT IN TODAY SO WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GET BACK TO THE POURING RAIN, MIND YOU I CALLED BEFORE GOING TO THE CLINIC AND SAID THEY ARE OPEN TILL 6, ARRIVED THERE AT 5PM CAUSE MY UNCLE HAVE GOUT AND HAVE TROUBLE WALKING. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Worst place ever. They said they are taking patients and so I left my house to go there and the receptionist calls when I'm just around the corner saying the doctor no longer wishes to see the patient. Isn't their moral duty to see patients until the time they are open and especially in the middle of the pandemic when patients need them the most
I visited this place many times. Most of the doctors and staffs are good except one male RN.oh he is a big failure (sorry to say this). I don't know how he become a RN, he is good for nothing, no manners not even basic manners to say back a 'HI' such an arrogant character.if we said anything about our health problems he will suggest us stay home and tolerate the pain or our health problems, because he wants save OHS money (may be he thinks OHS funds providing by himself or his family) Anyhow if you have any plan to visit here, please avoid seeing him because he make you more stressful. (i experienced this kind of behavior from him last two times tats why i just give a review otherwise i won't)
Absolutely, hands down, best walk in I have ever visited. Very friendly receptionist, quick intake, and such a great doctor, so quick to assist me, diagnose and provide a proper prescription. Clean facility, I have no complaints. 10/10 would visit again.
Well let's start and end with Dr. Chander "Somebody" (not worth my time going to look at name on script). I've had several colds this season and have become experienced enough to know that Flonaze; for my current cold, wouldn't be my first choice for combating this cold. Still, props for alternative practices! The kicker is that I forgot my medication history for a non-controlled pharmaceutical which according to him was controlled, but after 5 yrs of taking this medication. I know 100% that it's not. Still, he wouldn't write a script until I showed him my history of use which I then spent 2 hrs acquiring. I returned 3hrs later with stamped professional transcripts from pharmacy and he told the receptionist to ask me to return the next day because they couldn't bill more than once a day.so my taxes paid for Flonaze that is OTC? Don't appreciate having my time wasted because you don't want to write me a script based on your preference. Patient Rights and Practice Ethics are in question here.
I’ve been sick for over a month. Other doctors said it was the flu. I had strep ear sinus chest and bladder infection. Was at emergency a week ago the doc gave me antibiotics for 5 days, like really! Dr Chander gave me 3 prescriptions! No wait, great bedside manner and down to earth. Love that guy! Thank you Dr Chander!
My daughter has a spot on her back. We waited 45 minutes then Doctor Eliyas showed up and looked for 5 seconds. She was cluless, knew nothing and did nothing! Next day we went back to ask to be referred for a specialist that our friend had very good expereine with. They did not listen and referred us to someone else! Horrible experience!
I need a doctor's referral to see Orthotic doctor to make insole, he charged 20 dollars cash, without receipt, said not covered by OHIP. I said by the way, can I get blood checked, he said has to be the next visit!
So if not covered by OHIP, he should not have swiped my health card.if billed my health card, should have given me blood check form! Either way, something is wrong here.
Dr. Iliyas is good. The staffs infront are having no idea what they are doing. A new lady staff in the front desk, with expressionless face handed over somebody's urine sample when I was about to leave the clinic. I was astonished what I should do with it. Another staff took her inside to say something.when she came she didn't even apologize for giving someones urine sample to me. Am not exaggerating what happened, the superior official can have a look on the recorded visual of 23 Jan 2020 on closing time.
Doctors are good but the wait time is always atrocious. I wish there was a clinic closer to me because I hate coming here and having it take nearly 2 hours to get in and out, even if there is only one person ahead of me.
Waited an hour and then was told there was nothing you could do about a skin infection. Received a referral to a dermatologist but in the meantime I'm just expected to be itchy and in pain because there is "nothing you can do. " Upon me suggesting that surely there must be something you can do, the doctor replied, "That's OHIP for you. " What a disgusting comment.
Terrible waiting time. I was baffled on how slow they moved forward. I went there for a flu shot. My arm is in terrible pain now after an hour of getting it. I have had flu shots every fall for more than 10 years. This is the first time I had such a bad experience with it.
Jackie was so wonderful on the phone that she disconnected me for asking questions claiming it was busy so disconnected when I called back! Don’t deny the fact that you have to call at least 20 times before Ms. Jackie gets your attention (working at a medical facility you should have humanity in general) So bad I called the pharmacy to enquire!
Dr Juta at is my hero today - polite, concerned, funny, professional, and was able to sort things out for me. He is a gentleman and a great doctor. Facilities are cramped but they do well with what they have - place was fairly rammed for a Saturday AM but they were moving people through as efficiently as they could - I waited just under an hour and on arrival there were 20 people ahead of me so I’m not going to complain about efficiency or wait times. I hope I don’t have anything else to go back to a Walk In clinic for, but if I do, I’ll go here and insist on Dr Juta.
Me and my friend waited for atleast 15-20 mins there and there was no one at the reception. The Phones were ringing and no one came to see us, it sucks when you are in svere pain and no one is there to deal with you. We left and went to walk-in-clinic.
The female doctor at this clinic is very good. The receptionist or medical secretary or whatever their title is is very incompetent Spends more time whispering about the patients. The receptionist asked me the reason for seeing the doctor in the presence of all the other waiting patients, I told her that it was personal, she seemed offended. She does not have the right to ask about my medical condition when she is not a nurse or medical practitioner. Also she was frazzled and impolite.
If you have a family doctor here, don’t bother to make an appointment. We had a 1: 30 appointment. We arrived here at 1: 20 which was quite usual to arrive 10 minutes earlier before the appointment time. The receptionist told us the doctor was just stepping out for a quick lunch. So we waited and waited and saw other 4 dropped in patients come and go and we are still waiting. At 1: 40 we asked the receptionist again to see if the doctor is back yet. One of the nurse reply oh the doctor is in. What the heck! The nurse said she didn’t know if the patient who has the appointment (that’s us) has arrived. The nurse didn’t even bother to check with the front desk. The nurse call us in at 1: 45 to ask a few questions for about 5 minutes. The doctor finally came at 2: 15 and we left the clinic at 2: 20.
We are new to this clinic and the family doctor here. It’s our first time to visit the doctor with an appointment. Last time, the receptionist told us the benefits of having your family doctor here is you can make an appointment and avoid the wait time like other drop in patients. Apparently, this is not the case.
The doctor stated she would contact with results and failed to do so. She also advised what she suspected my illness was and when I asked for an explanation she didnt provide sufficient information.
I liked the professionalizm in getting the patients in and out. Very quick service comparing to others. I was seen by the Dr.just in 30 min. I do recommend this clinic. Definitely one of the best in Hamilton.
Awesome service and friendly staff. I only had to wait a few minutes to see a doctor.if only all clinics were this way. I'll be going here next time as well.
