Walk-In Family Practice & Clinic by Jack Nathan Health (MedCare Clinics @ Walmart Pen Centre)

I have used the services of this clinic provided by Dr. Sarah for many years now. I would like to share what I think of her services. Appreciating quality work is something I like to do. Dr. Sarah has her heart on what she does, as a patient I always feel heard and welcomed (which is quite not easy to find now). She is very knowledgeable and highly confident of what she does which reassures me as a patient. There is no rush and full attention is given to all the details provided. She communicates her mission through her actions ensuring that the customer receives the treatment he/she seeks and needs. This comes with great preservation of time and practicality. I really find Dr. Sarah an added value to this clinic and I hope that her services will always be available. Patients' ultimate well being is her core value and it is admirable.

High wait, but understandable. I had to wait 1.5 hrs but the service I was provided from the starting till I left with the prescription was kind and professional. Front desk, Vee and Raman are helpful and caring. Dr. Singh is very knowledgeable and accurate.

Worst experience at this place. Doctor have no experience and if you have severe problem the only thing they tell you is to drink water and you will be fine. They need to prescribe some medicine not the water. Horrible!
I went with my family spend 2 hours in the wait time and the only thing they told me is to drink water. Stay at home if you do not have proper knowledge and education to prescribe and solve the problem.

I had a wonderful experience in this location, receptionist Raman is very kind and helpful. Dr. Singh is very professional, knowledgeable and personable.

Dr Singh and Sarah (the physician assistant) have helped me so much! I really appreciate both of them and the care I got from both of them:) They were fast, effective, and knowledgeable. Sarah especially has helped me out so much to better understand some hidden health issues. I was not aware about. Thank you so much! <3

I f you don t like this clinic simply don t go and maybe go to the emergency at hospital and wait for five hours to be seen or better yet treat yourself at home. As for those that say they will never return don t, clinic will not lose money and government will save.

Cowards won't see me even with a negative covid test. Do no harm indeed. Line up at hospitals everywhere and this place is empty and refusing to serve the public.

I am a doctor too, however I was APPALED by the the way a family member was treated here and by the crude unprofessionalism by everyone working at this clinic (from front desk receptionist to the doctor). Please AVOID this place. There are doctors out there that care for your health. Long story short, I wanted to go in with my sister as I can advocate for her as she got sent home twice by the same doctor. The concerns were legitimate and he dismissed them all. All of them. Without checking or tests. I insisted on more tests and now that we have them you can clearly see there is a problem (even though the tests he ordered were very basic). He proceeded to prescribe a medication that was not licensed in Canada (also checked with Shoppers). Additionally, the receptionist rolled her eyes and did not utter a single word to us after I kindly asked if I could go in with my sister.

AVOID IT. We deserve and pay from our paychecks for better Healthcare. This clinic is not it.

The staff and physicians are very knowledgeable and experineced. My experience with Raman receptionist is very nice. She is very accomodating and helpful

Vee, giorgia and raman are very good staff. They help me a lot every time i visit and whole clinic staff is very accommodating. Must visit

Reception girls are very polite and welcoming, professional staff. Especially Vee and Raman they always take care of me.

I had a great experience at the clinic. The wait wasn’t too long. The nurse who was helping me was very nice and caring. I was also able to get my blood work done right after seeing the doctor. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I would give 0 if I could.
Waited 2 hours with a sick child and the doctors (of course not doctors,
Assistants, run away because of a noise at walmart).
The run away and left a lot of sick children without care.
Worst place ever! Run away if you can! This assistants should never, ever be in this position.
The front desk lady discussed with a father, who had a child with fever with him. She should never do that!
I’m heading home, waited over 2 hours and did not see a doctor. That’s INSANE!

This medical Center is really good very good doctors take with professionalism and seriously your health also the receptionist Vee very good people work in there recommended 100%

This clinic should be shut down the worst place in st.cathrines they have stupid doctors and I don’t know why they don’t shut them down they are just killing people not helping at all

I have been a patient for 2 years, even though it was a clinic, as a regular patient i found the service quite good. NOW, I have been informed that the clinic no longer accepts appts.   Last time I went, I had to wait for 1 1/2 hrs to see a Dr.   People behind me had to Waite up to 3 hrs for an appt.   This shows no loyalty to regular patients.   I am very disappointed in this level of service. I was waiting for results of an exray and was told I had to come in for results.   In the past, Dr's. Only called u in if there was a concern.   Now I could have to Waite up t 3 hrs to find out everything is fine.   Really!   Shame on u for providing this kind of care.

They don’t care about children! Saturday at 5: 30 my 3year old.was turned away.the woman told me to come back tomorrow (sunday morning) as they open at 9 am.so this morning i went back at 9: 15, and they aren’t even open.she lied to me to get me out and made me waste money on cab fair.disgusting people work here.

RUN FROM THIS CLINIC FAST. Went to this clinic because I thought I had a bladder infection. I was also interrogated by the female doctor on why I thought I had one as if I was incompetent as if I had not had one before and didn’t know my own body. She did not recommend any further tests or options for the pain in my stomach to get to the root of the problem, and 3 days later, ended up with a severe kidney infection that needed a injection of antibiotics and pain medication.

The wait time is also quite long but the front desk staff are pleasant. They also offer cosmetic injectables which is probably a good indication they’re a jack of all trades.

If I could give this clinic a zero I would. Absolutely terrible level of care. I have the flu and just needed to be assessed and probably prescribed antibiotics. The receptionists feel they can screen patients when they aren’t healthcare providers. The office manager also does not allow forms to be filled out for patients that are true walk in patients and need forms for work. Do not waste your time here.

Update: I was able to get seen by a doctor and have my return to work forms filled out at the promptdoc urgent care clinic on lake street. No issues at all there. I recommend that clinic over this one.

I took my 3 year old here. He had a fever for 5 days and difficulty breathing. The Dr barely touched or looked at him only listened to me explain symptoms. He sent us home with a inhaler. Less than 12 hours later my son almost died from respiratory failure and had to be airlifted to an out of town ICU.

Absolutely Amazing Staff super understanding, wonderful Receptionist!
My son had a fall hit his head off cement, took him to hospital with a 7 hour wait! Called the clinic right before closing and explained our situation with out hesitation they said bring him in!
Super thankful.

Boyfriend went to Walmart walk in clinic to get medication for an EAR INFECTION, the lady starts off extremely rude and hostile, she's not helpful at all. After TWO HOURS of waiting he finally got seen with an attitude, when he came out he informed the front desk he was going to be filing a complaint due to lack of professionalism and bad manners, bigger Hispanic lady working the front desk. Always has an attitude and I've read other reviews on here about her as well, she then walked over to the pharmacy as he was getting his medication and told the pharmacist to let him know he wasn't welcome anymore and he would have to exit through the Walmart doors and not the walk in doors. HORRIBLE TABLE MANNERS, HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, HORRIBLE DOCTORS OFFICE, HPRRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVERYTIME I HAVE STEPPED FOOT INSIDE.

Refused my 7 year old care who is prone to strep throat care because she had a sore throat and then told us that we could virtually visit and they could prescribe medication without out ever even listening to her lungs or checking to see if in fact that is what it was and yes we already tested negative for covid.
Absolutely disgusted that this clinic would turn away a sick child.

Took my mother in for checkup in the morning today. We were satisfyingly helped by the front desk girls as well as doctor sam. Nice health care setting.

My husband brought in our 4 year old because she had a fever and a sore throat for a few days. I called ahead of time and the receptionist told me my daughter would have to be rapid tested before she was able to see the doctor. I was a bit hesitant because she doesn’t like getting tested (what kid does) and I was worried how far up the nose she would go. Little did I know my daughter would come home with a big smile. She told me Gabby was super sweet and kind. My husband also informed me that she started the swob when my daughter was comfortable, she took her time and made it fun for her. I wish I could of been there to tell Gabby thank you she made the experience sweet and easy. The doctor took his time and examined her properly turned out to be a throat infection. The wait time was about 45 minutes but it was going by quick. My husbands says the clinic was nice and clean and the room was wiped down before going in. Will definitely be back!

Very bad experience today, I came just to follow up labs result, the receptionist told me that it was a 60 min wait list. I decided to stay and wait. 1h 30 min later they put me in a room they forgot about me 2: 20 minutes Late a went to talk to them and they had forgotten about me. That is unacceptable.

First time to this office due to my family doctor being on vacation. Registering at the desk was quick, and I found the office to be tidy. Krista was able to ease my fears as I was experiencing some anxiety. I will be back when I need walk-in service again.

Avoid this walk in! They treat their patients and employees like garbage! If I could give 0 starts I would.

I have been to a few different MedCare Clinics and I must say, this location is the most convenient for me. The location is supreme. The doctors and staff here are so friendly and understanding and they do their absolute best to accommodate. Look forward to joining the Family Medicine Roster here. Good Job!

The providers at the clinic are quick, efficient, educating and actually probe to assess, diagnose and treat my illnesses. I rate you 10/10.

I have been to this clinic a few times for urgent matters and ALL concerns have been dealt with professionally from the receptionists and providers whom I seen. The clinic is very clean and tidy and welcoming. The staff are always helping each other and the patients if needed. Very friendly and professional atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic.

My visit to the clinic was great! The staff are sooo personable and well educated. The clinic itself was very clean and tidy and the staff were polite and kind. The doctor took time with me I wasn’t treated as a drive-thru patient. I will be recommending this clinic to all my friends and family!
