Being as this is the only 24 hour spot for our fur babies it's hard to avoid their services at times. They are aware of this fact and take FULL advantage of it! If I had read these reviews I would have been more mentally prepared for the service we received. It was just after christmas when we had to take our Tyrone in. I thought he was going to die: (i had to be overly loud to get my dog tended to: (Their office called me three times. How many times dio you think they enquired about my dogs condition? That's right yall, not even one time! All they wanted was money, money, money: (I told the woman I spoke with that they could have called to check on the animal and remind Me of the time frame that was in place for my dogs medication and getting him fixed. I expressed that if I have to go somewhere else because of their refusal to work with me that I'm not going to be paying the remainder of my balance owing, as I can't afford to pay the new bill and that one together, plus pay for him to be fixed. They acted like the promissory I signed was already sent to collection as the excuse as to why they "couldn't " work with me financially. The 30 days required before the promissory can be sent to collections isn't even due for another week. They HAVE the ability to help my dog and work with me financially, they are just unwilling: (they told me they even called another number for payment when i told them there is no secondary number.
When reading these reviews I also noticed their cold automated responses and how often their office claims that "they can't find the reviewee in their system! " Staff shortages have nothing to do with having morals, values and compassion.
I HIGHLY recommend literally ANY other vet but this one.

I went to walker road animal hospital today under the assumption that the triage and the initial exam were going to be free. After the initial exam was completed a quote would be written for all the procedures that they were requesting to perform then payment would be discussed. Sadly that was not true in the slightest. The vet was well aware I could not pay for an exam, then proceeded to perform it anyways AND CHARGED ME FOR IT! After I told them I didn't have the 1009$ they wanted to charge me, they threatened to call the humane society and have my dog taken away if I left. After all of that, one of the ladies came into the room and said they would do a "funded parvo test" which they also charged me for. I told them I had another vet option I could take my dog to in the morning and was promptly informed that the hospital was going to be contacting the other vet in the morning to see if I had been or not and if I haven't, I would be expecting the humane society on my door step. Absolutely horrible experience and I hope that they get new vets that actually care about your pet instead of your wallet.pathetic waste of time, save the trouble and go somewhere else

Way to Expensive, and I was charged almost $500.00 for medication that I didn't use, and they wouldn't credit me back when I had to put her down 2 days later. This is a case of Over Charging a Patient when they knew the Pet was not going to make it.
It should have been two days of medication, "NOT" two weeks of medication then If the meds worked I could have got more.
I'M VERY DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS VETERINARY CLINIC
I was there over 7 hours, that's disgusting to have to wait that long.

Literally one of the worst vet offices in Windsor. They know they are your only option after hours and they use that to their advantage. You are better off waiting to go to your own vet the next day then waiting the anywheres from 6-12hrs for the mediocre care they provide. Techs think they are vets and are very rude and Openly state that if you were a better pet owner, you wouldn’t have to come in. During triage they don’t allow you to come with and hold your furry family member in the back in a cage after triage until vets available only causing more stress to a situation that doesn’t need it. ONLY GO HERE IF IT’S YOUR ONLY IF YOUR PET CANT WAIT.

My dad brought our dog in who unfortunately had to be put down. They left him sitting there for hours. Didn’t even give him a heads up. So the dog was in misery man’s waiting to be put down

Wait times aside the people that work there are great. Ashley at the front desk was such a light and you can tell just how much she cares about pets and their humans<3

We had to rush our dog to them when she passed away late at night. They helped us a lot and talked us through everything. I didn't catch the ladies name that helped us but she was kind throughout the whole process. They were clearly very busy but put aside time to help us. Thank you a lot, and I appreciate the work that you guys do.

After having multiple failed attempts at a previous vet, I was very worried that we were going to have the same experience however I was wrong.
We were in and out, they didn’t make us wait whatsoever and everyone in the front and back was extremely kind and outgoing. Helpful and was extremely patient with my cats. Even helped shave the one that was extremely matted and get their claws trimmed for us.
We had multiple options to choose from as for medication, payment was smooth and was very simple and straight forward.

There is not a SINGLE complaint, I loved being there. I loved getting everything done for my cats and knowing what was wrong considering they were strays and the doctor was amazing!
As per walk ins, you only waited about 10-15 minutes before being seen and that’s astonishing.

Shelby and Sage enjoyed their stay at walkers road animal hospital and will definitely return.

What an amazing animal hospital, we brought our 11 week old puppy in because my other dog went after him and they were incredible, they got him in right away made sure he was all set and happy! I was bleeding and hurt and they even made sure I was taken care of as well! 100% recommend this animal hospital!

Took my beloved 18 year old cat, Riley here. The staff were exemplary. They’re absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t ask for a more compassionate end of life for my kitty. Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about them to do them any sort of justice. They treat you so well while you have to deal with a heartbreaking situation. They have my sincere thanks and I will be seeing them again for care of my other animals.

I do not know how the people who work here do their job. So many pets needing emergency care. We brought our cat here after he had already seen 4 other vets! He was in respiratory distress and they immediately took him in the back to put him on oxygen while we waited for the vet to see him and figure out what was going on. The vet was amazing, and explained everything to us, answering all of our questions patiently and empathetically. The vet at Walker Rd was able to stabilize our cat, explain his condition in great detail, and develop a treatment plan. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very empathetic. I would highly recommend them IF your pet is having an emergency. If your pet can wait to see their regular vet I would recommend doing that because Walker Rd can be very busy and emergencies take precedense.

Very quick, and efficient when arriving with a pet emergency.warm and caring staff, but without the beating around the bush when it comes to informing you of the state of your pets health and what can or cannot be done. Will most likely return if the need arises.

Wonderful staff who are compassionate and helpful. We are lucky to have this 24 hour clinic in our area.

I just got back from rushing our beloved lab to WRAH from Chatham. Unfortunately, we lost her to bloat as well as an underlying condition. But i felt i needed to share our story. They took our girl in immediately. Including a stretcher from my vehicle to inside the building. Diagnosed her as having bloat. Then upon doing further blood work found the underlying condition which was most likely cancer. I'm writing this to tell you all that they couldn't have been more helpful, kind and caring. Wonderful special people from the counter to the vets and technicians. We are not their clients, however we were never treated like we weren't. They could not have cared more. I thank god we had WRAH to run to in a time of need. As most know we do not have 24 hour emergency care here in Chatham-Kent so a 5: 00 am run to windsor was necessary. Even the 5 folks already in the waiting room with their own emergencies were kind and did not mind letting our girl go in ahead of their own. Unfortunately despite the professional care and kindness of all of you we lost her. But i have to say Walker Road Animal was our own Christmas miracle. We lost our sweet girl but couldn't ask for a better team to help us through a horrible ordeal. I am forever grateful to all of you folks both at WRAH as well to the kind people in the waiting room. You all made a horribly sad situation bearable and for that I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This place is amazing. Went in middle of the night and they took care of my dog and gave discount on exam. They were more than amazing

The clinic is good as any other clinic, yes they can help treating mild to medium cases such as vomiting, diarrhea or limbing but they are not ready to deal with severe life threatening cases perhaps even lake the right equipement and training to do so, for an emergency clinic and only one in region it should have had much more to offer but there was really nothing there in my case

I am extremely grateful for this amazing hospital. I brought my pup Oliver to the hospital because of seizures all day, he was actual seizing in my arms as I carried him in and was rushed right in. He remained there for another 3 rough days. Every person I spoke to from the front desk all the way to the vets were truly amazing. You can tell everyone truly loves there career and are truly passionate about the care of their patients, I definitely only have positive things to say! Thank you WWAH!

Sad this is the only 24 hr vet in the city left. Very unprofessional and over priced, I feel horrible for anyone that has to bring a pet here I really hope your experience with them is better than mine was.

I cannot say enough for the care and compassion we received when our dog was brought in on an emergency basis. We were taken in immediately and our boy was well looked after. They let me stay the night with my dog in my arms while he was on IV. They offered me water and snacks throughout the night and even found me a phone charger. Truly by far great caring staff and I thank them immensely. I would absolutely recommend these amazing people to anyone.

Staff was supportive and kind when we brought my boy Harley in to be laid to rest shortly after Christmas. The Hospital even made a donation on Harley’s behalf, and mailed us a beautiful letter. I could not be more touched. I spent 11 wonderful years with my boy and saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I am so glad to have been treated with such kindness.

I kind and knowledgeable team. We've used them for years with our German Shepherd Dogs and have always been impressed with the care and compassion for our pets.

Horrible place.the wait is not called for and most people just walk out because the wait is so long.like 8 hr wait. Staff is friendly though, thats a plus at least. I honestly wouldn't recommend it unless ur pet is like dying.oh and yea.be ready to pay an arm and a leg.no joke

The entire staff was so great. I called ahead and they had a room waiting. We had to put our cat Cierra down and I was having such a heard time. They allowed me us to stay with her after until somebody came to get her.

I used to take my dog to this vet until one year my dog had a bad experience not wanting to get vaccinated because he was so scared and had a lot of anxiety. He didn’t let the vet tech put a muzzle on him. They didn’t try to sedate him or give him anything to make him sleepy or calm. Instead we were told to not come back as he doesn’t need vaccines and to just come back for his rabies vaccine. I tried calling to make an appointment for his rabies vaccine and was told the vaccine will cost the same as all the other vaccines so I might as well get him vaccinated for everything but right now he only needs his rabies. They said they will also have to do booster vaccine on him even though he doesn’t need them?

How does an animal hospital basically shooh you away anytime you try to make an appointment.

This is the same hospital that suggested I put my dog down 10 years ago when he was hit by a car but he is now healthy and well.

Unless your animal is near death, plan on being at the emergency hospital for a long time. We were there with our animal for 10 hours. They did take him back for a triage with a hole on the side of his body, but he was not crying or bleeding to death, so we had to wait. They only had 1 vet on staff and they have to service all of southern Ontario. It is not their fault, it is the Ontario government's fault for not having enough emergency services open for our animals. The staff there are wonderful and very compassionate and they do what they can. But plan on being last to be seen if your animal is somewhat stable.

Waited 6 hours to get my dog checked. Watched everyone come after me and leave before me. My dog has something stuck in his throat and I’m in charge of making sure his gums don’t change colour so they know he’s getting enough oxygen. How about do your job more efficiently and don’t pick and choose which animals you think deserve better care. How is it possible that people that came in 4 hours after me were able to get their pets checked and be out while I’m still in the waiting room. Never coming here again!

I only use them for emergency services (my dog has epilepsy so during seizure fits and such) but they really look after your animal and the staff is great! They don't push you to make decisions or spend money.

One thing I want to express is that this place is for EMERGENCIES. If your pet is still capable of basic functioning and is eating/drinking and not crying constantly please learn to be patient while there, or make an appointment at your regular vet, as there are pets not as fortunate as yours.

I had to take one of my cats in on a a Monday afternoon after I came home to him lying on the floor unable to move. They triaged him and brought him in the back right away, he spent 2 weeks there and had to have surgery on his urethra during this time.

Of course, after this I had to come in for check ups etc. I can honestly say I was very annoyed listening to so many people complain about wait times for their pet to be taken to the back after triage. It’s apparently a very difficult concept to grasp that if your pet returns from triage they are STABLE and do not need immediate medical attention. Use your better judgment and if they return from triage and you cannot be bothered to wait more, call your vet and just keep an eye on your pet. If it is serious enough for them to be taken to the back right away, I promise they will be.

I cannot thank these people enough for saving my cat and being there when I needed it.

Was not a very good experience. Showed up at 530pm they looked at my cat who has a bladder infection and 4 hours later our cat was still not looked at by a vet. Finally asked how much longer we were going to sit there and they told us another 3 hours before the midnight vet came in. We'll 4 hours was long enough my sad 8 year old and I left and went home which was another almost hour long drive as we were directed there as no other vet from chatham Kent to windsor would look at our cat.

While the reason we went was a terrible cause, the staff there were kind and understanding. I am giving it a 4/5 as to my understanding there was the option for a paw print memorial we could have bought that was not offered and would have been liked.

I recently had to lay my over 20 year old cat to rest. Presented at Walker Road Animal Hospital. Can't say enough how well I was treated from reception to physician. I am greatful to the staff members that they made a horrible night losing my beautiful boy a little more bearable. The entire staff treated me with respect, compassion and professionalism.

I owe this place a huge thank you. I brought my dog Duke all the way from Chatham and I was there maybe an hour. They were fast and very pleasant considering the circumstances with the over load of costumers due to lack of vet care through this pandemic. Thank you so much for helping Duke! I hope I don't have to come back but if I do this is the place I would go. The staff was amazing very helpful caring again Thank you so much!

Truly recommend the staff are very informative. Caring and understanding to your feelings. They are very busy so you do have to be patient and understand that they deal with all kinds of emergencies. I feel that they will take good care of every pet.

They gave my dog another dogs anti-nausea medication by injection by mistake. It was 4x the amount that a dog my dogs size should have. Then the vet was going to send my dog home within hours of arriving to their hospital with spinal cord injury. My dog was not able to pee or have a bowel movement by herself and if I would have taken her home we would have had to rush her back in pain because she was not able to pee.
My dog had stones in her bladder and they sent stones off to be analyzed. This test cost me over 200 dollars. They never called me or followed up with the results. I had to call months later to get the results when she again was having a difficult time peeing.
I do not recommend this emergency vet.
The only vet that I dealt with that seemed competent was Dr. Horseman. She was professional and knew her stuff. She made a horrible experience just a little better with her knowledge and communication.
Due to my knowledge my dog has recovered from her spinal cord injury.

Brought my rabbit in due to a cough he's had for a while. Called before I came in and was told sure just wait in the parking lot and call so that they can come out and get him. Got there called and was told I couldn't go in cause I had a rabbit. And then was left to wait in my car for an hour before I ended up calling again to ask if they were coming to get him from the parking lot. After he got in I was made to sit in the car. I waited yet another hour to then call them back since they weren't updating me to then hear that he's been "triaged" and will have to wait for the vet now. I told them they had a half hour or I was getting my bunny and leaving. After a half hour I then had to call AGAIN! To ask if he's been seen after chatting they found no problems with him offer me to buy him medicine and yet I still ended up paying $250 for a vet check up of 3 hours of waiting.

Prioritized our sudden euthanasia needed for our beloved dog. Took us right into a private room and were very compassionate.
If I had only one complaint, it would only be that the blanket they offered to have our dog lay on for the procedure, had a lot of other pets hair all over it. (Our dog had gotten sick on the way over onto her blanket.) Pet hair is notorious for shedding onto fabric but a cleaner blanket would have just seemed more hygienic in general, even though she was being put to sleep on it.
Still, it doesn’t take away from the actual employees there and the kindness they showed us especially in our grief-stricken state.

I really feel for this place.honestly. I wasn't able to get the care I needed for my cat (and he was so stressed about the myriad of dogs that were in and out of that building). What started out as 4 animals ahead of him continued to be 4 animals ahead of him at least 2 hours after I arrived.animals dont stop needing urgent care just because it's the weekend, so, it's frustrating that there are only like.two places available in Windsor on the weekend. Everyone seemed just so busy and overwhelmed at this animal hospital. I really hope my cat hangs in there until an appointment I made tomorrow at Lauzon, but, I sincerely wish the best to this hospital and staff, and wish all the poor pets and their owners the best, too.

While I appreciate the 24hr service and the friendly and courteous staff what I can't forgive is the fact that they were more worried about getting paid then the welfare of the puppy stuck in his mother. Our French bulldog went into labor at 1: 00 a.m. She had two puppies inside her I drove from wallaceburg to Windsor by the time I got the Windsor one puppy had come out but the other was still in mother and she went into rest. And then hours later went into labor pushed out the head of the puppy which then became stuck at the shoulders they called my wife and talked to her on the phone about 15 minutes about what was going on and how they wanted their money before they would start the c-section we paid the money but by that time the puppy had died I'm left wondering how long it took them to get to the phone to even call us before the 15 minutes wasted talking about what was going on and payment especially since we had driven there for the c-section so we were and had the money to pay for it it should have just been done instead of wasting time when the dog became stuck

Terrible.waited 2 hours in our car then they assessed my dog and told me they would call me back in 4-8 hours.never called back so drove back the following day and waited 6 more hours before getting a vet to evaluate my dog

Of course it struck on the holiday weekend, they did the best they could and ultimately I dropped my girl of at her vets this morning to fix her problem but they were very good about keeping in touch and monitoring ️

Took good care of my pup after he was hit by a car, unfortunately had to put him down, super upset that his collar was lost but it was frantic when we came in, all and all good experiences

This Animal Hospital goes above & beyond. I have had both of my senior dogs taken care of here & their compassion goes above & beyond & that includes all their staff.

Very bad experiences, waiting too long, staff members and doctors try to make more money by offering you unnecessary services to sick pets in order to make more money, don't go there, waste of time and money.

I had a problem with my dog convulsing and they took her in at 12 o'clock at night and watch her there the whole night till I could get her into my regular vet they were very attentive and did not charge me for the stay overnight. They provide very excellent care.

Unfortunately the wait times are quite long but the staff is helpful, friendly and courteous and they took care of our little pup. The clinic isn’t cheap nor were we expecting it to be; to be expected from a 24 hr clinic. The doctors were caring and always called us back to discuss the results (we unfortunately had to get follow up tests 4 days in a row) while letting us get her home as soon as possible. Overall a good experience and we’re grateful for the care our puppy received.

Very kind, caring, compassionate and professional. We lost our cat last night and they made us feel like we were family through the process. I want to put a special spotlight on Aline, for making sure we were okay and had enough time with our cat before we gave her over to be cremated. She made sure we were okay before we left, she was gentle and sweet. While we are heart broken to lose our pet, WRAH made the process a little easier.

I’ve had multiple emergency situations with my animals, and until lately I had no clue how bad this clinic was. The customer service is BAD. Ive come at 9am, empty parking lot, and then had to wait almost an hour. While also having my animals symptoms lessened and minimized to me. “Your cat isn’t even an emergency” is not something you say to someone concerned for the welfare of their cat. I found the staff rude, I found them WAY overpriced and I found that the vet doesn’t care about anything other than the money.
My cat was struck by a car, and they genuinely made me wait 30 minutes with blood coming from both ends of him. In this absolutely emergency situation, they still made us wait. They looked at him, told me “he seems to be hurt. It will be $900 to test him and see what’s wrong, or you can put him down”.
I didn’t have that much, and after how long they took, I couldn’t stand my poor baby in pain anymore so we had to put him down.
But I have heard so many horror stories of this awful, overpriced place! PLEASE PLEASE TAKE YOUR ANIMALS ANYWHERE ELSE. THIS IS THE WORST POSSIBLE CLINIC IN WINDSOR!

This is the second time I have come to this hospital. I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism that I experienced during both visits. The staff and service is like being with family. The pricing is fair and reasonable.

If I could rate this clinic a negative I would. I have never received such horrible care for my dog when he had a fractured leg and they made me wait 8 hours for him to even get checked out. All he was given was a pain killer to numb the pain as the time went on; he kept being pushed down the line as other dogs/cats arrived. I waited in the parking lot 4 hours until I finally called in and asked what the hell had been going on and once I said I would just take him and go they said they didn't advise it because they knew something was wrong with him but I guess not crucial enough to check hid leg OH and he also had a fever which could have been from internal injuries, BUT did they call to inform me of of this information OF COURSE NOT. They were horrible to try and get any info out of, the vets there were completely useless (and I know many around the area). I suggest if your dog/cat is in a bad state and can make it to an urgent care clinic an hour or two away PLEASE take them there and not Walker Animal Hospital.name of vet is deluca cant complain enough about this place. GO TO LAUZON VET HOSPITAL, got me in right away

I had an emergency with my chihuahua Ben last night and I was terrified he was hurt!
These folks rushed us in immediately and took such wonderful care of him.
I’m still singing their praises today! The tech who called to update me was an absolute angel. These folks CARE.
What a breath of fresh air to be able to trust your most precious babies to people you can have faith in.

We went camping and my dog got an eye infection. Walker accepted to look at my dog while other 24/7 clinics in Windsor did not even answered the phone

I brought my dog in last October as he fell ill. They checked him over later in the evening and the vet on duty called to let me know his ailments. I decided to have him put down as he was 14 yrs old and he was suffering. The on duty Vet was very kind and supportive. They wrapped him up for me to take home and the staff were all so very compassionate. I highly recommend this location for your emergency pet needs.

Great place, very helpful when I found my dog choking on something he ate in the backyard. Although them being the only 24/7 animal hospital in the city they can charge however much they want so it was pricey. But well worth the price to save my dog!

It's a shame I have to change my review from a five star to no star it appears that walker road vet clearly only care about the money it makes and not the animal's my grandkids cat was hit by a car last night and who every the women was that worked last night should be fired she was rude and had no Compassion I've been reading your reviews it Seems to be a common complaint by a few people but you don't care do you as long as the cash keeps rolling in you make me sick

Amazing. Even with being extremely busy they managed to keep me informed with everything that was going on with my dog. Not to mention my dog generally hates the vet but was comfortable enough and able to stay the night for some extra care. Just wonderful

Friendly, caring, reassuring and most of all a God-send in times of need️ I have been here a couple of times with cats and I only have praise for this hospital.

I'm absolutely heartbroken with Walker rd. I understand we are in a pandemic. But seriously after 10yrs of bringing both my cat and dog to them. First in sept our 16yr old cat passed away. I had to go to a vet I've never been to because they wouldn't allow me to stay with him. I wasn't letting him pass alone. Also after he passed they refused to buy back his canned food. Seriously I understand if it was a open bag but cans? Oh and another vet bought them off of me no problem. Now our 10yr old boy is at his end. Again we can't be with him. His meds are due today. They refuse to give us less then his 100 which is prescribed. If the prescription is changed we have to bring him in. We can't get him in our jeep. Now we are told buy all 100 and they will not buy back what he passes. Nothing like making your clients feel like the only thing that matters is the money.

UPDATED! Our dog once again needs his medication. We requested an appointment. Were told no we could come and wait. I explained he can't jump anymore and we have to borrow a vehicle to get him there. They still refused. I started to cry and she hung up on me. I called back and she said they refuse to see him now. Are you kidding after 10yrs and all the money for food, medicine, flea meds and emergencies this is how you treat us. Nothing like proving its all about the money and not the animal. I now understand why they can't keep staff. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Awful, no one helped me with my dog getting her out of car on to stretcher, had me sitting over 3 hours in parking lot with no avail info about my pet when I could have been with her.
Very short and irritated staff when speaking to tech, Vet extremely nice though!

And when it was time to say goodbye to my pet before crossing rainbow Bridge, it was in a door way cuz of covid even when we asked to have her outside so it was a very abrupt goodbye.disappointed.

I find this Animal Hospital completely inhumane. Every other animal clinic will allow you to be with your pet if it is being euthanized. I understand social distancing and the need to protect yourself but with this clinic you drop your pet at the door and say goodbye there. According to their website there are no exceptions. I wonder how any of these people would feel if they had to euthanize their pet.

Have dealt with them for the passing of two of my kitties. They we're patient, compassionate and genuine. Also received a xmas card in memory from them. Family also uses this location. We all are very happy with the service.

I phoned because my dog ate a cherry pit that was dropped by my daughter.
I was quite concerned and the person from the clinic was very kind. She went to check with the veterinarian on duty. I was disconnected (thanks Bell) but she phoned me back to relay the information. I greatly appreciated her kindness and information.

I brought my dog in with a sore paw to the point where he was limping and having trouble walking. I checked him in before noon and they said it would take a while for him to see a vet so I should go home and wait for their call, he was 5th in line. After 3 hrs I heard nothing and had to call to check on him, they told me he was fine and still 5th in line and not to call back to check on him. Said they will call when he's seen a vet but can't tell me how long and after 3 hours he was still 5th in line. Called back 2 hrs later, took 20 mins to get someone just to give me an update.now he was 3rd in line, they tried to tell me he was comfortable and happy, somehow I doubted this. By 830 pm I still hadn't heard from them, called back and I got told he was now 2nd in line. At this point it had taken over 8 hrs for him to move from 5th to 2nd in line. They still refused to give me an idea of how much longer it would take for hit to see a vet. By now his basic needs were not being met, he hadn't eaten since 8 am and I only have their word he's been taken out to relieve himself. I pulled him out as I was now concerned he wasn't be treated properly. When he got home he peed a lot and drank a lot. I don't think anyone was taking care of him for 1 second during his 8.5 hr stay where he only moved from 5th in line to 2nd in line. If it takes 8.5 hrs to move up 3 positions in line then something is wrong with this place. When I expressed my disgust for how my dog was treated when I picked him up, one of their staff gave me the finger behind a locked glass door.

If you care about your pets well being, stay away from this place.

Awful vets don't recommend unless you want to spend an arm and a leg, exam fees start at $125 witch is insane they have a terrible wait time I brought my girl in at 3 am and she wasn't seen by a vet until 5: 30 and they did nothing other than test her blood sugars for $189 witch is insane do not recommend these vets to anyone ever!

I felt good with the welcoming staff. But when I received the call from the doctor, I felt it was for upsell and not for the well being of our furry family member. Went in with what we said it was a possible congested cold. Stuffy and not eating. Came home (2 days later) with medication for ulcer on his tongue. We had to take him 2 days later, back because he was turning for the worse. When the other doctor called the second time, she did not mention or see any ulcers. But they wanted another $500 for xrays and blood work (to check for cancer). Pulled him from there. Took him to our vet. New medication, and by the next day he was back to himself. Only spent $145. Our vet never asked for xray or blood work.

It's been a couple years with switching vets now, and I absolutely can say that WRAH is one of the best I've ever been too with having pets my whole life. I highly recommend them. Staff included, so helpful and genuine.

Have been here twice now. They never follow up with you on how your pet has been. In our quote they said an ultrasound was included in the quote, when we came today for ultrasound they said we needed to pay. An already ridiculous bill of $2100.now an extra $546 added onto it when they said it was included not impressed. Gave me pain meds for my dog when my dog wasn't even in pain.
Never going here ever again, I advise anyone to steer clear. All they care about it money

If I could give zero stars I would. They had my dog for 9 hrs and he was never examined. They didn't deem it urgent until I went to pick him up to take him to emergency vet clinic in London.

Very kind and compassionate, I've had to put down both of my cats over the past year and the staff has always been over the top empathetic.

A bit pricy after hours but it's worth being treated like a human and not rushed into decisions.
