I've been getting orthotics from Walking Mobility since being diagnosed with pes planus in 2018 and am always thoroughly impressed by the level of service provided. Staff are always knowledgable, patient, and happy to answer questions about orthotic design, footwear recommendations, and more. I also appreciate the integration with Kintec, as it means that I can more easily get tailored care when moving between BC and Ontario.

Jake, Winnie, and Kelly are a great team! They are always helpful and patient when I ask many questions, and are kind enough to let my four year old vacuum the hallways when we come for our appointments! Recently I purchased a new orthotic and I went back twice to have it adjusted - they were very accommodating and I appreciate their attention to detail. It is great to have a clinic like this downtown.

They really helped me to address my foot issues & suggested the right treatments without trying to sell any products. I just went in to get some orthopedic footwear but was given a thorough analysis one on one. Will certainly recommend this location for any orthopedic needs. We had good service. The place is very good for people who need special shoes specific to their needs. We appreciate what they do and the prices were very affordable.

I have been going to this Toronto location for a few years now and they are great! I have been helped by a number of different staff who have all been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The receptionist is also wonderful.:) This most recent visit I was helped by some younger staff, Jake and Winnie, and they were very competent. In addition, the technology involved in my custom orthotics continues to advance. Will definitely be back next year!

Dr. Goldenberg was very thorough and patient. His diagnosis was obviously based on his many years of experience and extensive knowledge of the human body. He is also one of the most pleasant and knowledgeable doctors I've ever seen.

Winnie took the time I needed to explain the different type of shoes in inventory and to let me try on a number of types and sizes.

I saw Jake the following day. He performed a detailed analysis of my gait and gave me some practical suggestions regarding my existing orthotics and potential new ones. Very nice and professional.

Kelly runs the operation efficiently and I appreciated the polite and prompt service she provided.

Wow. Goldenberg identified my osteoarthritis as he walked in the door and was able to explain my symptoms immediately. Very knowledgable.
Rob, in orthotics, was equally experieneced and non-nonsense. These were two very intelligent, experienced professionals who knew their stiff.

I have got advice on exercises to help with my back issues, and bought many pairs of orthotics here over the years, always with excellent results. The staff are consistently knowledgeable and professional. Kelly, at the front desk, in particular, is very helpful and friendly, making it always a pleasure to visit the office.

Dr. Ebrahim and Dr. Rob Sunderland. I highlyI recommend this clinic to anyone seeking assistance. They are a very professional and approachable team. Very understanding, they answered all my questions, making me feel vey comfortable and with an understanding of my next steps.

I had very painful plantar fasciitis. Orthotics helped by I still had some pain. My specialist Rob Sunderland gave me stretches which in a matter of days eliminated the pain. I can now spend a normal amount of time on my feet and my quality of life has improved immensely.

I felt pressured and tricked into purchasing orthotics that I didn't need. They have been sitting on my shelf for a year. They don't care about your feet. They just want your money.

Just picked up my finished orthotics from Rob Sunderland at the 750 Dundas St. W.location. It was a smooth and painless process (despite current Covid protocols) for both myself and my wife. As we had recently purchased a treadmill for home use we were able to buy running shoes that complimented our orthotics as well as a pair for our normal street shoes.

The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to book my appointments online and get fitted for my orthotics quickly.

Our son was examined and treated by Shelley Dempsey, and it couldn't have been better. Her advice was very good. Great service.

Rob Sunderland, pedorthist, did a great job of making customized orthotics to address my various foot issues. He also provided lots of practical advice.and helped me to find shoes that work with the orthotics. My feet are a lot happier now!

I was able to get an assessment and my products without a long wait. The orthopaedist and admins were friendly and highly competent. They were happy to answer my questions, and when I hadn't asked still gave me information they thought I might need. I got all the paperwork and instructions I needed for my insurance without asking, for example. They have an automated system to text appointment reminders.

I’ve referred my mother to Walking Mobility Clinics because she was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. For months her feet were the most painful in the morning arising out of bed. When Rob and Rebecca helped me fit into proper footwear and orthotics, I had to share the great news with my mother and have her come in to cure her foot pain. I’m so relieved to hear that her feet no longer feels the pain she was suffering prior to this visit, provided that she has been wearing in-house sandals, orthotics and using the exercise ball. We are both extremely satisfied and I have referred my father and grandmother.

The staff were all friendly and professional.
THey took the time needed to make adjustments so that the orthotics fit properly in my sandals and my running shoes. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I was fitted with Finn sandals and measured for Orthotics. The Orthotics have worked- no pain in my left foot. The Finn sandals are too big & I pointed this out during my second visit but was assured they were fine. Maybe I have skinny feet but the Finns have to be constantly tightened. I wear the thichest socks I own to help with this issue.

The billing system in this place is absurd.
Prior to booking the appointment on the phone, the receptionist tells me that the appointment is $80 not OHIP covered and I should check with my insurance company if they would compensate. I ask which category I should submit it for insurance purpose and she says podiatry. After the appointment I am prescribed orthotics, brace, and a new pair of off the shelf shoes which comes up to over a thousand dollars. While putting down the deposit, I ask the receptionist to make sure that the appointment is billed separately as my insurance company has podiatry and orthotics as two different categories. I am sure she knows about it, since she told me herself on the phone! To that she says, “no, we don’t charge you for an appointment. We apply its cost towards your orthotics instead. ” I try to explain to her that it doesn’t work in my benefit, but she doesn’t seem to understand.
I should mention that I am currently on a mat leave and came to the appointment with my baby. While $80 may not seem like enough to complain about to some people, this is half of the money I get for a child benefit a month. Right now I am not working and the three of us leave on a single income. Again, all this is rather obvious from the fact that we are there with a baby and the conversations which go on.
Anyway, we leave as my baby is starting to fuss and are told to come back to pick up orthotics. I decide to ask again at that time.
When we come back to pay the rest of the money, stuff is way less friendly. I ask the receptionist again and she seems extremely frustrated and annoyed. She tells me that she can not “go back in the system to change the receipt which was printed 3 weeks back”.
This is like going to an optometrist to get an eye exam and glasses, while the eye exam is “discounted”, by applying the charge towards the glasses. It doesn’t make any sense. Why would I want such billing done, when my insurance pays separately for an eye exam and glasses?
Back to the annoyed receptionist (same lady as the first time). I try to explain to her that I prefer not to have this type of “discount”, and she indirectly accuses me of fraud. That was the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. I had never had such careless, indifferent experience at the medical clinic before. At that point the doctor came out and told me that he would give me an 80$ discount if I buy another pair of shoes from them. Thanks, but no thanks. This is not the only place in Toronto to get this done and I will most certainly be taking my business elsewhere. This is such a shame, considering that the doctor was nice to us.

Every staff member is helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable about all of their products, which are priced about par as compared to similar stores. They were spot on with the timing and answered all of my questions. Great quality and excellent customer service. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for solutions for foot/feet pain.

Yesterday my husband saw Rob at the Dundas location. In no time he had identified the problems and recommended proper shoes and boots. As well he taught him how to use his cane properly. Rob and his crew are a treasure. Go!

I went to Walking Mobility to purchase made to measure orthotic soles and was very happy with the support and comfort they provided. The staff was quite professional in their tests and diagnostic procedures, prior to designing the custom orthotics. Their follow-up support was also quite useful in finding whether any final adjustments were necessary. I was quite satisfied with their quality of service.

Two years ago, my doctor referred me to Walking Mobility. Alex helped me with footwear choices and orthotics designed to relieve the pain from my Achilles tendinitis. This year, I was thrilled to meet Rob and Kelly. He sought to understand my footwear needs - professional, personal, and athletic but most importantly, my personal goals of health, wellness, and self-care. I felt listened to and I came away from the experience more educated, more empowered, and with more choices in footwear that reflected my needs.

For years, I have struggled with gait issues which have led to injuries, and chronic lower leg and foot pain. I have had my gait assessed before but this was the first time that I watched a video in slow motion of the way that I walk. As I sat with Rob watching the video, he explained the bio-mechanics of my gait.

Rob recommended an athletic orthotic which is helping me get back to running. It perfectly matched my foot shape and made accommodations for my gait. The cobra orthotic means that I don’t walk out of the back of my leather shoes, both high heeled and flat. There are no more limits on shoe choices in my professional life. This was a deal breaker for me. No other perdothist has been able to do this for me. A third pair of orthotics were made from graphite. They are so light and fit easily into boots and casual shoes. I took advantage of the clinic’s wonderful selection of footwear that accommodate orthotics. The turnaround time for the orthotics was two weeks. Rob was able to make adjustments right in the office. This is the only clinic that I have visited where the customization or adjustments can be done on the spot. I highly recommend Rob.

Walking Mobility Clinics is a wonderful place to alleviate foot pain. The pedorthist, Rob Sunderland, is knowledgeable in terms of providing me with a thorough assessment of my current condition. His loyalty helped me overcome obstacles of the large bumps on the side of the joint of my big toes. I first called to book an appointment in May and with no hesitation, Kelly squeezed me in on her priority list. I was always fearful to walk into a foot clinic because I thought it would be costly—but ever since I brought my business to their attention—Rebecca Anderson took that fear away while helping me make a decision on wearing custom made foot orthotics and orthopaedic footwear. I feel like I can easily go back to purchase another pair of orthodics for my high heels and be completely satisfied. To all the millennials out there who have been diagnosed with Hallux Abducto-Valgus, I highly recommend you visit Walking Mobility Clinics.

Hi im very upset of the treatment we got from the doctor ebrahim maskan me and my dad went in for our 1115 app we got there at 1119 went up to the secretary and regestered the doctor was there and said couldnt see us because we were late but said it in a rude way my dad is 80 years old with prostate cancer and a few other ilnesses im not impressed with this so called doctor i had to pay for parking and was sent home the secretary felt bad i was going to tell him off but remained calm i made another app for a later date because i have no choice this location is close to me and my father uses a cane to walk but i will not give a good reveiw and the way he said no im totaly apalled
