Gina is amazing server. She helped and very knowledgeable of the menu. Great personality and excellent professional service.

So had to up my review to 5 star. It was slammed for lunch and still service was polite and quick! Got me some chicken and ribs and I don't know why but this meal hit home and was so hardy. Gave me a hungry man vibe if hungry man diners were actually good. Ribs had good sauce but my peas and mash were the closers!

I love Wally’s Grill! The staff are amazing! I love talking to Tracy, Patricia and Gina. Everyone else is great. The food is truly delicious and the service is quick. It has also been renovated and so looks so clean and fresh. Love Wally’s!

Great tasting food made fresh, big portions, reasonably priced, clean and newly renovated.

The service was amazing, the atmosphere was good, the carrot cake was good, but the coffee was warm not hot enough, not strong enough, the hashbrown was mushy and cold my Sunnyside eggs was not cooked on the right heat. Am sorry I usually leave good comments but I can't lie on this experience. I believe you can do better. Hashbrowns should not look or taste like mashed potatoes. But will definitely come for the carrot cake and tea.

I love their Nachos. I even brought a friend with me another time and treated him to the Nachos and he loved it too.

This is mine and my sisters favorite little home base restaurant to eat at. Mainly because of the waitresses they are all so amazing friendly outgoing beautiful human beings each with their own flare for a wicked customer service experience

Very large servings. Medium cooked eggs were done perfectly in my eggs benedict. Free coffee refills that were always being topped up.

Quiet cozy clean chic place going early on a weekday morning. Chances are you can make it there before work.
Generous and delicious serving sizes. Attentive and friendly service while dining.

I have been coming here for quite some time now, and I have never written a review, so I thought I should.

The service is absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly. The food is quick, yet is still very well made and tasty. Overall, amazing food, great staff, and a terrific environment.

A commenter wrote a 1 star review accusing this place of “discrimination”. In my years of eating at Wally’s I have NEVER seen any sort of discrimination nor a tolerance for any of that behaviour. The servers are extremely friendly, and I can assure you none of them would engage in that behaviour. For people to write lies in an attempt to deface this place is disgusting.

One of my favorite breakfast spots has lost points this week.
Food was average amd staffing shortage make it painful.
This is not to say it is unusual to wait these days, but paying your bill should not take 20mins.

This was a ususal.work day so the long extended wait time made for a stress morning.

It's okay potatoes were a little cold and soggy and waitress was hard to get her attention

Partner and I come here quite often.normally the food is pretty good.but WOW did they miss the mark today.
Both ordered eggs with toast and home fries, he had sausage I had bacon.well, the homedries were? Cold.like they didnt even try to heat them, the toast was cold aswell, like they forgot it on the counter, and my eggs were barely warm enough to eat. Thankfully the tea was hot.
Was very disappointed this time.

You know when when pull into the parking lot at 9: 30 on a Sunday morning and it’s full you have come to the right restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs cooked as ordered. Coffee hot and refilled. Serve excellent.

First time ordering from here and I got chicken Souvlaki dinner. The food taste good, made to order so it was hot and fresh. I will definitely come back again.probably for breakfast this morning. Keep up the good work.n the staff are nice and welcoming.

My friend hated his pancake. It was dry and like cardboard. My breakfast meal was ok but nothing spectacular.

The food was less than average.and we are taking breakfast. They weren't that busy but the waitress was slow and kept apologizing. We waited to pay and finally my husband just didn't want to wait any longer so he left and I waited to pay. When I paid I mentioned to the waitress hey the bench seat we were sitting on is broken.and she said yeah, they are fixing the place up very slowly. Unimpressed.

One of the worst breakfast experiences I've ever had. Undercooked eggs and the waitress didn't care. The booth we were sitting at, had a broken seat and I almost fell through it. All the waitress said is "ya we know". We will not be back.

Food was great as always, and the service was friendly and they kept your coffee topped up at all time. Best part was that they still have a breakfast for under $10, with all the places that had to raise their price due to the pandemic, it's a real surprise they were able to keep their prices low.

Kind service, good food. If you're lucky you might get a booth. Great place to bring the family. It's been around for many years.

Meh.for the price the Salmon Benedict was not good. Small and not very good salmon, jiggly sauce and a bunch of friend potatoes. The new breakfast spot up the street is way better and has fresh salad and fruit as options with their benedict plus they are on waffles

Decent food, selection, prices and usually very good service. Owners and staff are very nice and are willing to go "the extra mile" to keep patrons happy. A North Etobicoke staple.

Great food. Prices reasonable. Friendly and accommodating staff. Busy. My only complaint when ordering eggs is you either get 3 eggs or 1, I prefer 2.3 eggs is 1 too many and 1 is not enough.

I've been here several times in the last few years. Its been consistently good. Decent food, nice atmosphere, attentive serving staff. I especially like their breakfasts.

I was very impressed with the chicken Alfredo, the customer service was very friendly and made you feel like you were a regular customer. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Wally's Grill is the all time best, been there for many years when I was a kid and to this day I still go there every once in a while but it never gets old. Went there with my family this morning and made my order which is the New York Steak & Eggs. Had a nice presentation and the taste is delicious! I also enjoyed the new server who the young adult/blonde girl as she did a good job, she deserves a raise or something for her hard work. Overall I'm giving this rating 5 stars cause of my experience and how nostalgic it is as always! Had a great morning!

It's so close to home. It's one of our favorite all day breakfast dinners. The staff is always so friendly and nice. Food is good and has a great variety of menu items for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Always a great meal there. Had a traditional breakfast there, eggs.cooked perfectly as well as the home fries and bacon. Bottomless coffee. Especially good there when Nadja (?) is there to wait on you.

Got the cheeseburger and greek salad for breakfast.why not? Tasted good and I think I found myself a NEW neighbourhood favourite!

The staff is great but the quality of food has gone down over the past couple of years. It use to be a go to for us and now we get it once and awhile and regret going back.

This place has great bacon and eggs one time the lady forgot to give me coffee they gave me a free breakfast next time no questions asked

One of the best diner's in Rexdale. Clean, friendly staff, huge portions, all day breakfast and a patio. The Fords frequent here in case you wish to take any issues up with them haha! Overall great place for a sandwich or pancakes with reasonable prices.

It’s been awhile, but I thought I would Treat myself to a good Breakfast. Ate there every morning before going to work on the opposite side of the road at CCL INDUSTRY. As good as it was then it has not changed. YUM AND THANK YOU!

While the food was good as usual, the staff didn't do a good job enforcing Covid rules. People standing inside waiting for tables outside weren't wearing masks. There was even an older couple wirhout them

Very big yummy omelet breakfast. Their chicken souvlaki and salad are good although didn't really notice the taziki. Fries are fresh with a crunch.

I've been to Wally's multiple times in the past, & the food & service is pretty good. It's also a bit on the pricier side, but I think that the previous two things help make up for it.

I'm still giving a 1 star though because at the time of writing, June 30,2020, we are still in the middle of the Covid Pandemic & from what I saw of this restaurant with the patio dine-in, I didn't feel safe eating there. When I arrived, I was greeted with staff in masks & a 1-way route to the patio with hand sanitizer available. Fantastic. However, another group of customers had been there when we arrived so when they left, I was able to see their cleaning standards. They used a regular wash cloth with unknown cleaning solution but didn't seem to wipe the whole table, & the condiment bottles were not touched in the cleaning process. This may have been fine for the times prior to Covid, but it really didn't seem thorough enough given this pandemic. These are avenues of contamination and personally, makes me feel unsafe to eat here again, at least while this pandemic lasts. It's very disappointing to see as I thought being months into quarantine, they'd have enough time to up their standards of practice, but with this experience, I really didn't feel that.

For those reading, please keep doing your best to stay safe, clean your hands, remain socially distant, & be cautious with your interactions with others. If we're going to bear Covid, we need to do this together

Absolutely a place worth visiting, the food is awesome and fresh, the prices are fair and it is consistently clean in here. Highly recommended.

Had breakfast their done just the way I like it food and service was Excellent. It's a nice comfortable and clean restaurant workouts of parking I will be visiting here more often

It takes very long to order and get your food even when there not a lot of people
And I'm at the place waiting for my food to come but we only got a salad and our drinks and the price is very high wish it could be a little bit cheaper

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, but we got a table on the patio. I got the Wally burger with fries and gravy. My girlfriend got an omelette with peameal bacon and my son got a grilled cheese with home fries. All of our meals were really good. The waitress double checked that everything was up to standard and came by to refill the coffee without being asked. I would definitely come back.

Fresh homestyle breakfasts that leave you full. You can swap home fries for french fries. While they're each equally good I crave the crispy texture and fluffy inside of the fries which go really well with the Eggs Benedict though it often disappears too quick ;). It's so goood. No really. They also have good day specials like fish & chips or chicken parmesan with a side. It's consistently been a friendly and cozy environment and I return regularly

I remember as a child, going to Wally’s was a treat, I loved going, the food was always great. I took my daughter and partner here today we haven’t been for a good year and decided to treat ourselves today. My partner had a delicious veal parm with a side of fries, my daughter had yummy pancakes and I decided to have the 3 egg breakfast meal. Now I’m giving this a 3/5 star because my eggs were not cooked, they were soggy and definitely not eatable (unless you like your eggs not cooked), I prefer my eggs sunny side up but not “sunny side up let’s rush this meal and hope she doesn’t notice that it’s not cooked”, my home fries (potatoes) where evenly cooked except one that was frozen; however within saying that they were still better then other places I’ve been to. The bacon was alright it was a little on the crispy side, and then the side salad from my spouses meal it was really soggy, first bite you could taste that it wasn’t fresh at all.

The restaurant id give a 2/5 star, employees are really nice but the place is a little bit run down. I get that it’s the area but if you go into say Wendy’s down the street, they keep the place tidy, no rips in the chairs no mold around the windows, bathrooms are cleaned daily. I think Wally’s can do better, I really want to feel comfortable when sitting in a restaurant. The booth we were in the seats were ripped, the both behind use were also ripped. I’m not sure if there is a change in owners but this Wally’s in particular needs a renovation or something changed.

Overall experience I’d definitely go there again but order something else, next time we go I may sit outside, the AC didn’t seem to work that well today it was still extremely hot especially with the humidity outside. While we were there for about an hour the waitress came to check up on us once which was different I am used to someone coming every few moments to make sure we’re okay.

Food is delicious and reasonable price and stAff are friendly especially that Patricia waitress love her to pieces goes over and beyond I'm looking forward to going back even when shes on duty:) to bad I cant put more then 5 stars

Service was bad. The owner and servers look at you first from head to toe before they assign a table for you or your group. We weren't dressed smartly that day when me my partner and our kids went there. We had to wait and can't just occupy a vacant table of our choice. We sat by the right side of the entrance but was told that we can't be sitting there. Breakfast for the kids wasn't appealing. Wasted. I had chicken souvlaki. Nothing special about the taste. It was a waste of money. We could have gone to a brunch buffet restaurant with the same amount of money.

Food was very good, I had the chicken souvlaki, potatoes were perfect, rice was tasty and chicken was so juicy you could it sworn you heard a juicy fruit gum commercial in the background yelling in your ear. Service could be improved but over all a good experience.

Two weekends in a row hair in food very disgusted staff is great kitchen staff not so much didn't even get the order right

Loved the corned beef i took as substitution! Grilled! Went really well with the white toast. Good service. Our server was friendly and attentive.

The food is okay. I ordered the Super French Toast breakfast. The bacon could have been cooked a little longer. The potatoes did not have much flavor.

Good value for your money. South east corner of Kipling and Rexdale. If you are on Rexdale, it is behind the Shoppers Drug Mart. The home fry potatoes are similar to roasted potatoes. Peamal bacon is very tender, unlike other restaurants where they are tough.

I went to Wally's for breakfast on a Saturday. Great food and fast and really friendly service. If I am ever again in the area, I'll definitely dine here.

Sweet sit down diner. Huge menu with lots of vegetarian options. All day breakfast available as well as lunch/dinner. Service is generally fairly quick and pleasant.

Love this place. Great food, great choice. The only thing that lets it down is that adults aren't allowed to have kids meals. I can't eat a lot - why shouldn't I be able to get a smaller portion if I am paying for it?

Too many pork options with nothing to substitute them with (turkey/chicken bacon or sausage will take you far in this area). My husband and I both had the burgers, they were ok but a little on the gamey side. Service was excellent though.

I have been here twice now and both times it's been a great experience. The service was great and it's reasonably priced.

It's a hot mess. The poor waitress who looked overworked and tired kept giving me the wrong drink. When I paid in cash, she didn't give back the right change. It was the difference of $50! The food messed up my stomach. The look of the place has potential but I'm surprised it's still standing. Bathrooms were clean.

Long time customer. Lately the food has had more salt on it than I would like. I am not the only one who notices. I hope this is not a trend. I think Wally's has the best breakfast in Rexdale.

This diner hits the spot of you are looking for an easy breakfast place. Friendly staff, food was great, good sized portions. I can't wait for summer to sit on the patio.
