Walmart Supercentre

Tell me why I got accused of stealing because I walked out of Walmart empty-handed. The employee stopped me when I left self checkout to the exit and said 'I saw you shopping so where are your items? " I was in the bakery section. Please tell me how I was suppose to steal the pies I was just LOOKING at.

If you come to this Walmart, apparently it's suspicious to browse.

Very very poor customer service! We were there to pick up some grocery and also to answer a recall posted on the government of Canada website, their customer service not only brushed us off but also treated us very rudely. The recall was updated on Oct 4th but we only saw it last week, the manager Jas angrily asked us why we came yesterday, as if we were not there for a recall but were there to scam, she gave us nasty looks the whole time. We followed their instruction to contact Walmart customer service but it wasn’t helpful either, they still turned us down by saying we must have receipts for the recall. It is so ridiculous, we never thought of returning when we purchased the products a couple months ago and we were only returning because of the recall, so why would we keep the receipts for the products? For all the recalls I’ve dealt with, no receipts were required, because it is basically a government order.

Today I visit Walmart to do grocery but I am really disappointed with customer service of that short Muslim girl … I asked her about clothing section but she ingnored me. Again I asked her and she spoke so rudely. Aa cording to me she is the worst employee of Walmart.

They do not check expired food so u have to make sure you check dates, and three of the yellow vest people are always chatting and ignore the line up very rude, I drive to woodland to go to that Walmart,

Seriously this is the quietest I've ever seen Walmart come on so I highly recommend this one

I know we're all gearing up for boxing week soon and I get the feeling this one will have the least amount of rush I want so I'm planning on coming here, the layout of the store is a little bit different from others, But the footprint is really white so it's a big open store

I also have a clinic in the far side of the parking lot which opens up into the mall and they do dental and other services as well

I actually came in for COVID testing before my trip to the states and it was 20 minutes, and 20 dollars.a fantastic deal!

Good options for meats and vegetables unlike other branches of Walmart, they also have good selection of asian snacks and fruits

‘DHRUVI CHAUHAN’ associate in 1080 has the worst attitude and zero work ethics. I asked for help she was looking into her phone. When I told her you should help customer. She used obscene language. She should be fired. Why Walmart hire people like this. Wearing a yellow vest ‘ happy to help’ and still carrying attitude I don’t work in this department. Help yourself and on the top swearing at customer is unacceptable. Store managers should fire her asap.

I shall be going back there pretty soon to acquire a new laptop and printer with a cableless connection. A very nice place indeed with a knowledgeable and friendly staff, who sometimes go out of their way to help you out, amidst this Covid crisis we are facing.

The drycleaners at this store are crooks. I gabe a perfectly good coat to clean and it came back so ratty and completely discoloured. The lady took pictures of the coat after the fact and tried to convince me that is the state i gave it to her like I'm delusional! My mistake was the trusted and didn't have my own pictures but from the cuf you could see that only the exposed part was discoloured and underneath was the original look. I'm so angry with them they ruined a good coat and would take no responsibility.

This Walmart store is not following the Walmart policy. The customer manager Jasmeet refused to follow the policy for doing the price match. And the item i bought which is not a clearance item.

Prices have been increased. The necessary items are out of the shelves. Tag prices are different than what displayed.looks like no quality control and poor management. Filled with Unqualified staff. They need to hire right staff.

Moldy produce that wasn't immediately pulled. This stuff can get someone seriously sick or worse. Told a staff and just put it back in and went on to stock other items. Don't expect much from Walmart but dang, you're gonna get someone killed from bad food like this. Would give negative stars if possible.

Dishonest & Lazy Staff

I had a multiple bad experiences with the staff called SALMA from the store customer service for the returns. In my experience, this lazy employee always try to avoid work as much as possible, especially for those online shopping items.

This time, she made a mistake and returned my order to the other account of customer with a wrong order number. The simple processing is just go on the computer to revise it.

But she did not want to revise it because of her lazy, that means my money will be refunded to the other customer, and she lied to me that my order is not exist, but luckily I had the order record from the app to proof it.

At the end, she have to revise it. Of course, more work to this lazy employee mean make her more unhappy. When finished the returning process, she just thrown the receipt to the counter and walk away without saying a word has it done or not.

Walmart is a bad luck to having this kind of employee.

Self check out counters were not sanitized after use. The supervising lady complained that she is the only staff on duty and cannot attend to sanitize the check out machines.

As bad as every walmart along with birdshit all over the parking lot which as per wildlife Human contact there not supposed to allow so the wildlife stays wild but expect nothing less from an American company

Customer Service (returning) always very busy. Only one cashier attends the counter. If you have to return something always give atleast 20 mins.

They do not answer the customer service line. They have it on silent so obviously no one hears it and no one answers your calls!

I was at Walmart at markham and steeles on 01/30/21. If i could give them a 0 i would.im a health care workers when i got to the front door there other 4 health care workers waiting. We were told by the security that there not accepting essential workers in. I ask the security that i wanna speak to the manager which she did. The manager name Clarinne told us she just found out tonite that policy has changed. She gave us the 1800 Walmart Can to call. An older health care workers even beg to just to get something for her father. The manager refuse to let her in.i called the 1800 Walmart Canada and explain the situations they told me nothing has changed as long as we show are id.i called other Walmarts they said nothing has changed.i even called same store and ask them whats there policy the customer service said as long as you show your id. But the manager took upon herself to make her own rules.no signs outside or there website stating that there policy has changed.it was soo frustrating. For a manager clarinne her customer service is very poor.i dont know if wanna shop at this location again.i advise all health care workers, front line workers and essentials workers not to shop at this Walmart according to the manager clarinne we haf to line.

I accidentally dropped a pack of blueberries and the content opened and spilled all over. I felt so bad but 2 kind walmart employees came over to help me out and they didn't even ask me to buy or pay for it and said it's alright. That was really good customer service. Thank you so much!

Today at self checkout, I had trouble scanning BLUEBERRIES as the barcode gave error so the walmart employee enter it for me, but the price was different than what was posted at the produce, I told about it to walmart employee, but she seems to not to believe me and argued to me telling it is right product and nothing she can do. So I had to go back and click a picture proving the price is wrong.
The reason I select self checkout is wrong prices and wrong code due to employee mistake as once I was charged for shrimp and I didn't buy that.
Please keep you price in the system right and your employee provided bad customer service.

Great place for shopping. Nice and helpful staff especially Daniya helped us to find few items quickly.

I do my grocery shopping everyday here. The meat is very fresh And whatever I want to, this Walmart always have I want to.now they have the self checkout! No need to wait on line long time

I shop this place mostly for the fresh produce. The grocery section appears to be run by a separate company working with Wal-Mart as it has a lot of ethnic focused produce items (Chinese & indian). The prices are very competitive and selection is pretty good.

One of the best Walmart stores I have visited in US and Canada combined.the stuff that you get here is way more than any other Walmart store that I have been to. The choice of fresh meats and fish is amazing.a lot of Asian food choices as well.the deli is awesome.the store is well stocked and managed.

Good location at the boarder of Scarborough and Markham, noticed reorganizing the products and more space available to walk through the entrance and aisles

The selection is amazing, specifically the fish, international food and clothing. This Walmat is a superstore. It is super busy and good luck if you need assistance in the aisles. Did not see any staff floating throughout the store. All staff were split between cash, customer service and food department. Almost all cash register lines were open to accommodate the traffic of customers. The parking is jammed and I had to park at another store in the plazza to find a spot. Would recommend going during the week, the weekends are nuts!

As a superstore in the area, lots of people are shopping in the weekend.same or lower quality products but higher prices than before.anyway, still a good place to shop overall.

One of our best go to Walmart’s around Markham and Scarborough. They have a good stock of almost everything I need from Walmart. Not busy and chaotic like a few others nearby.

Disgusting. Filthy. Produce section was horrid. Everything was on the verge of rotting. There were flies circling everything.
Also sas looking for xmas cookie cutters. Cookie cutters are stored in 4 locations. Why? Couldn't find employees to help, when i did none knew if the had xmas themed cookie cutters. Layout terrible.
Will avoid going herr as much as possible

It’s a great place to find a variety of item for the home and groceries. The only draw back is that they do not have a lot of Caribbean products and sometimes there isn’t enough cashiers to assist you when you need to checkout!

A mess!
Looking for a standard light switch.
No one had any idea what a light switch was.
Asked 3 different staff members!
Besides the store in renovation mode, I was told that they never carried switches.
Got so fed up looking around that I couldn't deal with these morons and left!

First time at this location and I was pleased with the ease of thier layout as well as the friendly staff. Wasn't in the store long enough to give it a 5.

This Walmart location was quite clean when I visited. The store was organized and there were plenty of staff around to assist me with any questions I had. There was no wait in line at the front and there were more than 3 available cashiers. There is also a McDonald's and Tim Hortons inside which I thought was pretty convenient for those who want to stop at one place or the other. Overall I would recommend and visit this Walmart again.

Had the WORST time trying to find someone to help me. Either they didn't speak Engish or just didn't know anything.

FINALLY got help after 25 min of waiting and asking people. They didn't have what I wanted. The fact that they didn't have was I was looking for isn't the issue.
-But the limited or NO communication sure is!
Don't have people who don't speak English working out in front. It's not fair for BOTH parties involved.

You MUST speak the language of the place /Country you choose to live in. I think if you've lived there for several years and you still can't converse then it's a matter of not wanting to.

I did thank those who eventually did help me though.

The store is under renovation so everything is all over the place and no one to help. Wasted over an hour to find few things in the store. When you ask for help you get an attitude and employees are talking on their cell phone while putting stuff back on the shelve so no one can ask them for help. Prices are wrong so people won't even offer the price which it states in your policy. This walmart use to be good and now I just don't know what happened. Always out of stock on things. Staff is always in a bad mood. I don't this this msg will do anything but maybe people want to read it

Walmart's always get a decent rating simply because of their value and selection. But, this Walmart is much busier than the one in Boxgrove and has longer checkout lines because of this. I don't like Walmart's price dropping marketing ploy.kind of stupid because it implies that they are ripping you off to begin with and then giving late-comers a better deal. Why not just start with your best price? Well, I know, it's simply economics and you can adjust prices to see how consumers react. Hmmm, am I a test subject?

I would not recommend going to this Walmart if you are from a minority class of individuals. I faced overt racism from an employee while shopping at this location. He approached us to ask if India does not sell razor blades for the men to shave off their beards. When I addressed the fact that he just made a racist remark he responded by saying that i didn't know how to take a joke. Him getting defensive and claiming that he was making a joke is an indication that he was aware what his verbal remarks meant. I spoke with the management team and in the span of 10 minutes was advised by 3 people that this is not the first time he has made racist slurs. Mind you that I worked at Walmart for three years and at which time I also helped out this location. Walmart "claims" that they have a strict policy for racism, however, it is obvious that the managers are AWARE of this kind of behaviour and have done nothing. The no tolerance policy for racism seems to be a joke at this location. One of the assistance managers on duty explicitly advised me that the employee would deny the comments he made. So does this mean that he can continue to make such comments and everyone will ignore the same? Furthermore, a co-worker of his thought it was funny and instead of calling management she turned around and told us to calm down. The employee who made the slur was glad that we were taking this to management, probably because he knew that nothing would happen to him and no one would say anything. It is sad that i have a relative who works at this location and has to stand this kind of behaviour. I am absolutely incensed and don't plan on shopping at this location again.
