Walmart Supercentre

This Walmart used to be a nice store to go to but I don't know what has happened as of the past 3ish years but the store is in an absolute constant state. It consistently looks like the store has been ransacked especially in the grocery area. Stuff is thrown onto the shelves, and it looks like no one cares about the state of the store. For how many employees I see aimlessly walking around I would think that facing the store and making it look at least decent would be a priority but it doesn't appear to be. Its honestly a shame as I used to like coming here.

This must be the most unkept, unorganized and untidy Walmart in London. Shelves are a mess all over the store and stuff is just put anywhere there is a space. One more than one of my visits I have seen employees stand around doing more chatting than work where others take their job to serious for example there is one gentleman at the self check outs that is almost like a little rude dictator. Unfortunately serveal of the employees have not heard of deoderant and it is very unpleasnt to be around them do to their very intense body oder. Maybe the manager (Chris Coombs) should get out of his/her office more and walk around the store to see what state it is in and how the employees are not doing their jobs.

Was at this location around 6 on oct 25th and just wanted to share how kind and personable an employee was.nathan was so sweet and honestly one of the kindest employees i’ve met.thanks nathan for being so nice

Past 2 shopping experience have been unacceptable

1. Was not given the sales price on three of my items. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she told me to go take pictures of the items/prices. Is this customer service now? Customers have to do their own price checks lol I saw 3 associates (1 was a manager) just standing at the front doing nothing.

2. I was in looking for this product I needed for a recipe. I couldn't find it so I asked the associate and she seemed annoyed that I stopped her while stocking the shelves. She rudely said she hasn't ordered that product in over a year. I asked her if it could be anywhere else bc I just made that recipe 2 months ago and purchased that product then. She replied well you didn't get it here because I haven't ordered it. I assumed since she did ordering she was in some type of senior position.
Way to go Walmart she was a great choice, no customer service abilities whatsoever.

The product I purchased says expires in 2024 but its my third time going back to return realy bad tasty product, watch what you buy!
I personally gave up on that wall mart, not worth going there anymore.

Some of the staff here is racist. I feel so uncomfortable shopping here. Each time I go here their is a specific security guard who follows me around. I don't know why? I have never stolen and have always brought my products. I also work with uber but new I did shop and pay so I go in as often to shop for customers. I made an honest mistake by not understanding about the refund policy and the guy at customer service in the yellow vest was so rude about it. Although I apologize for not understanding he was so rude. I feel uncomfortable going in here.

Very bad service. Because they blocked cell phones service.you can't call anyone. Security department stupid. They don't know how to work.

Recently this store changed its carts. The new ones are tiny. Like shopping with a baby cart. WHY would you change your carts to these small ones when it’s a super center!? !? ! Horrible for shopping!

Cons: ordering anything from Walmarts website is absolutely horrible. The customer service from Marketplace and over the phone is abysmal. Their merchants lie and nobody wants to actually help. They said we picked up our package when we didn’t. We received an email saying the order was ready, but it was only a card, not the item we ordered. The marketplace seller tried to falsely say our item was delivered to the store, but they only shipped a car saying “sorry you received this card before the item” lol. See image below.

Pros: the customer service in this particular location, specifically Ram, were great. She was eager to help. She went above the rest and helped escalate when needed. She was very understanding, polite, and professional. She deserves 5 stars, a promotion/raise (real money raise, not a gift card) and recognition. Please let her coach others on how customer service should be handled.

Notes: online orders get 1 star. The store gets 3, Ram gets 5.

This Walmart at Fanshawe and Hyde Park it's like a regular Walmart but with stupid people. Online pickup a burden, employees are from a different planet and most importantly MISSLABELED price tags that NEVER work on your favor. Better check every item you buy, don't get ripped off, happening EVERY SINGLE TIME lately, even buying only 5 items, 2 has false price tag on the shelve! Could be intentional, banking on people don't pay attention at the checkout.

Have always liked Maxwell House coffee and have bought dark roast pods for years. Latest box have had issues with pod bending in the keurig resulting in a wasted cup of coffee full of grounds and having to clean the coffee maker. Have emailed Maxwell House canada x 2 about this with a photo of the faulty pod and no response from them. So much for Customer Service. Won’t buy anymore!

Sales associates are always available to give you hand whenever you need them. Extremely good service at the floor.
Super excellent service.

Walmart is okay, but their third sales are outrageous.
“Canadian Outlet” selling stuff, but does not respond or acknowledge you when you want to return. Do not buy anything from them. They will scam you! Shame on Walmart allowing this!

I recently visited this Walmart location and was blown away by the exceptional customer service and wide variety of products available. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me locate items and answering my questions with a smile. Checkout was quick and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, this Walmart location is a top-notch retail store that provides a great shopping experience. I Highly recommend it! Will always be my go-to grocery store!

Unfortunately, I had a very frustrating experience here today. I found a mattress topper that did not have a price tag in front of it. I looked around that section (which was very disorganized) and finally found the same box in front of a tag saying it was $104. I compared both boxes to clarify that they were the same. When I went to cash, to my surprise, it rang in at $144. I showed the manager where I found it and explained what happened. Her response was that I should have compared the tag number and the box number and there was nothing they can do for me because it wasn’t their fault. I felt as though she turned this issue on to me making me feel that this was my mistake and that I should have known. As someone who has not worked in retail, I was not aware that this was something I should be doing, nor did I think that this was my responsibility. I have never been in this situation before, but I felt that I should have be honoured the price that the box was placed in front of. I hope that going forward your employees take more time and care in making sure your products have price tags so this confusion does not happen again.
I am feeling extremely frustrated. It is not my job to make sure products are behind their correct tags. I had trusted that this step was a priority for you and that the price I saw on the shelf was correct.
I hope someone can contact me to rectify this situation.

Good Place.
Lots of parking.
Many varieties of groceries.
Including Asian, Indian, and many more.
Warm welcoming people and appreciable customer service.

Problems i found are, many items get out of stock and they don't care about it. Since we are living beside this Walmart, its our primary shopping centre. Still, we need to go to other stores often due to this product unavailability.

They carry fresh meat and groceries. Never see any expired stuffs.
Overall 4 stars.
Highly recommended.

I felt like I was being followed around the store by a Walmart associate which felt kinda awkward and uncomfortable but when I asked him for help on an item that was missing a price ticket he was unable to create a new ticket or call another associate to help him, instead he just walked away from me. Some of their associates are completely useless and obviously need better training.

Huge store. Lots of variety in Fashion and Home Decor items. For Grocery it is quite expensive compared to Food basics and Freshco. Vegetables and fruits are not fresh and most of the time they are out of it. However, the store is Tidy and clean and associates help to find stuff.

I went shopping there today and I went to self-checkout. I had cash so I ask the lady to pay cash and she was rude about it, I don’t know why when there’s a sign that says “pay cash here”. When I finished scanning my items I bought a paper bag then the lady just threw the bag on the ground like I’m a peasant. Overall bad customer service

Not the same as it was a few years ago staff very rude floor walker flowing people if you pick up to much or something over 30$ no one to help not as clean as it use to be smells and if you don’t have recipe they don’t do return like before and you have to pay to use cart and buy bags now wish they would bring target back to Canada

This Walmart has everything you need. It's massive. I just always forget my quarter to use a cart which is annoying. If you are going to shop here, don't forget the quarter!

I used to love shopping at this location however, while the rest of the world is encouraging digital transactions, someone at Walmart decided that it would be a great idea to require people to insert a quarter to use a cart. Since much of the world does not carry coins these days, it means that for those of us who do not carry coins, we can only shop for what we can carry. A customer service fail in my personal opinion. Hopefully, they realize (sooner than later) that a few lost carts is not worth the amount of lost revenue and customer frustration.

Went here for a quick stop, was on an urgent move.the employee ran to the aisle which had the thing i want and brought it to me.a amazing experince.

The manager Chris was incredibly helpful. We stopped him for a quick question and he insisted on helping and ensuring we found the right items we were looking for, all the way to the end. Very humble manager resulting in great experience had at this location.

I never ever do surveys, but today I want to take this opportunity to thank store associate “YASH’’. I moved to London yesterday and I needed a mattress to sleep and other supplies after being awake for more than 72 hours. This guy stayed with me on call over more than 10 minutes and listed to me very calmly and he called me back with what I needed, and the products which weren’t available in the store he found me THE BEST replacement of the same. He has high product knowledge and detailed information, and he pays attention to customer’s specific details. Best Walmart experience I ever had. This will be my goto store from now. Not to mention but i have had worst experience at other Walmarts too

This Evening about 8: 20 I accompany a friend to Walmart to buy a pair of safety shoes. We asked for a male shop assistant with badges but no uniforms to help us find a size 10. He said that he will find in the storeroom and keep us waiting for him. We waited there for almost 20 minutes and he still did not come back. So we asked another male shop assistant who’ s been sorting things around. At first he denied that shop assistant is Walmart's employees. After we said that the shop assistant wears a walmart badges. He said he didn't know who's him. It sounds ridiculous, how could he didn't know who the shop assistant is. I clearly saw him chatting with that shop assistant. If this no size that we needed please just tell us, don't keep us waiting and the most important is don't lie to us! Bad Experience.

Decent social distancing measures being put in place! It's also easy enough to find what you're looking for at this location!

Grocery pick up is excellent. Staff is friendly. They often have more in stock then places like Loblaws. The pandemic is not over people.stop going in the store and just order pick up.

My favorite Walmart to go in the city. Quite calm, not too busy, staff are helping you out while searching for things within isles. Shelves are almost full, fresh grocery quality is good enough but not the best.

Great grocery store with excellent selection and choice. Prices are very competitive and staff very helpful. It's a little out of the way for me, but worthwhile all the same.

This Walmart has always had an issue with keeping the proper stock levels, shelves stay empty of a product for months at a time.

Not the cleanest Walmart I've been too bit the staff is helpful & they usually have everything I need.so in the end cant really complain just a typical Walmart!

Our cashier didnt say a single work to us. Afterwards, I called to get my one order delivered and 3 people who came afterwards got their orders before us. Not a good visit.

All the new cultural norms are being observed as best they can. As for the rest of the experience it was typical of Wal-Mart providing you with decent value, decent selection.

Clean, well stocked & follows health safety for COVID19 well. Plenty of cashiers open while still maintaining social distancing. Directional markers & signs for clarity & limiting of customers still in effect but wait time in line not outrageous. Only downfall I have encountered is the self checkout registers are not being sanitized in between customers as they should be.
