Uber drivers beware, this place is a complete misery to pick up pre collected grocery orders. Management at this Walmart is tyrannical and will come up with any rule to make you not only waste your time, but also deny you of the order you are picking up. If you are picking up any orders from here proceed with caution or heed my advice and just don't accept pre made orders from here.

Today I went to this Walmart, I left something in my car, so tried to get out of the store without buying anything. A gentleman hold the gate for me with a smiling face, and I passed through the gate. Within a minute I got inside the entrance when a man stopped me saying he’s the manager and needs to check my bag. I said I didn’t buy anything. The man wanted to check my purse. To avoid any scene among the crowd, I opened up my small purse which was almost empty. He man left saying he’s the manager, so it’s his duty. No sorry for such offensive behaviour. I was in hurry, so I left the store immediately.
If you humiliate your customer without any reason, at least learn to take responsibility for this. This made me sad and angry at the same time. I myself is a manager of an MNC and know certain conduct a manager should follow. Or is it my skin color that gives you permission of such ill manner!

Had an extremely negative experience with a female cashier whose name I did not get, but when I come back I will be getting her name and updating this review. As a customer service representative you should not be taking out your anger on customers especially those who are kind. I waited in line about 10 minutes because she was taking her sweet time with the people in front of me which I had no problem with. The line behind me started to grow and so when it came to my turn I lined up everything on the belt and had two items at the back that I had wanted to have the total of before she scanned. She was scanning the items really quickly and so I was packing them because I wanted to help move the line along quickly, but she scanned the last two items without me having a chance to tell her that I wanted the total beforehand and when I kindly told her this I she got MAD at me and said well you should have told me before then. Honestly I was taken a back by how rude she was to me because she was so nice to people in front of me. Sooooo avoid this place if you want to experience negative encounters with cashiers. I've never been treated like this by any cashier before never mind Walmart so honestly if you dont want your day ruined by a negative person don't come here but if you do? Perfect place

Walmart's treatment with online buying customers!

Walmart is soooo poor with their relationship with thier buyers. I should have listened to my daughter not to shop at Walmart but to shop/support Canadian-owned grocery stores. I ordered online 4 items that one of them could not be picked up in store on Mar. 13,2023. It showed next day delivery, Mar. 14 but until today (Mar. 24) the courier they use (JOEYCO) hasn't delivered the items! I wasted so many days and hours calling Walmart & Joeyco until Joeyco removed their website. Walmart would not even refund my money from the time I complained until today when I raised hell talking to their customer service representative. It was not about the money I paid but about principle! Never buy at Walmart especially online deliveries because they are soooo poor/unreliable/ unaccepted reasons with their commitment to their buyers! I wasted my time calling and calling from Mar. 14 until Mar. 23.
I will see if I have my money refunded today, Mar. 24! Walmart emailed me an evoucher as a token of thanks for my hassle.what garbage is this, my time/efforts/stress dealing with them cannot commensurate the $10.00 evoucher token.so cheap a price for all I had to go through. Never again, Walmart!

Should you still patronize Walmart, do NOT do online shopping to be delivered to your doorsteps because you will never receive it! It will be a HORROR

Stalked by an employee, 5'10 black hair full body plain face. The woman in plain clothes she followed us through every isle. When confronted she told us its no big deal. Bad enough you have to pay a deposit for a cart. As a paying customer I've never been so insulted. I will not return as I take pride in my integrity.

Came here to buy eyelash glue and when i got home and opened the box it was empty.customer service did not care.it is very clear that the reason they do not care is because at the end of the day they lost money when someone stole from them, and gained it back when i bought the empty box.don’t come here.all staff is very rude and unprofessional.even the manager TANYA was useless.take an extra 10-15 min out of your day and drive to the other location.

Very poorly ran store. There was two cashiers working.that’s right two.the line ups were 6 people deep.they then added two more cashiers for a total of 4 but still couldn’t handle the volume of customers.management should be ashamed.second problem i noticed today was people stacking shelves twice wouldn’t move to get product off shelves twice and twice they actually bumped my cart with there carts weird. (like i was in there way). I hope head office mystery shops this store cause not sure this store could pass anything.i don’t expect 5 star service from walmart but it shouldn’t take 25 min to cash out.ridiculous.

So, shop at a Walmart- to have to do the cashier's job, to be treated like I stole something.

It's apparent that your business model has become unacceptable over the last decade and, it's disappointment and bad service. Every time, Nationwide.

Just close your doors in Canada or, give everyone 15$ off for having to do your employee's job.

The one star is for the cool robotic machine that you've acquired- which could've hired hundreds, for months.

I was recently at this location and had a very negative experience with a man named Trevor who is a co-manager. I witnessed him talking down to somebody that was just trying to do their job. His tone and demeanour was extremely unprofessional as the behaviour he displayed in front of other workers and customers was Disgraceful to Walmart. He seemed to be a control freak and is a very poor representation of Walmart which overall doesn’t have a good reputation to start with. If you read these reviews you definitely need an attitude adjustment. If I was your district manager I would’ve had you disciplined for displaying such poor behavior. If you’re like this with the people you work with and the customers around you, I can only imagine your attitude when it comes to your personal life. If you have a family I feel so sorry for them. After witnessing that interaction, as a mental health medical professional I really suggest you seek some help. Your overall demeanour is an indication that you have some Serious underlying mental issues that need to be addressed.

On another note for those of you that say you have had racist interactions with employees at this store, give it a rest. Just because this location doesn’t sell all of your ethnic food such as Halal that does not mean they are racist. Most locations sell products based on demographics. If you’re looking for ethnic food, Walmart generally is not the place to go. I am not specifying what my nationality is buy, they don’t sell food from my ethnicity at this location and I’m not crying racism.

For those that you that use the race card, perhaps you’re the ones that is racist. If I went to your country of origin and did not find food from the country I originated from, does make your country racist?

My groceries went to another address. The recipients admitted it but told me to just complain and kept the food. I have spent 4 hours trying to get help from Walmart Groceries. Still no answer, several disconnects, give it a while to appear, let me transfer you (that goes nowhere) and two promises to follow up. Now almost 12 hours, still no one helping me. I have Covid and no groceries.

I approached three Walmart employees in the tech department. One was counting something but the other two were just watching. Neither asked if I needed help or had a question. Is there no customer service training here? This is not the first bad customer service experience I've had here.

My experience was epic the front end team at this store was a phenomenal help. I ordered a backpack online and was sent the wrong color. I tried to return it at the north Oshawa store and no one would help me. I come to South Oshawa Rola gave amazing customer service and Jalal returned the backpack no problem. I will definitely keep coming back to this location because of the quality customer service

The store was already frustrating enough with everything constantly being moved around or taken off the shelves completely but now that also ruined the pharmacy. The way you called in A script before was nice and smooth. It didn't require this prompt and that prompt, it didn't say please allow 3 days for a response from the prescriber, it was 1 and you got to change the time it was ready for (to some degree). You Also didn't have to put in your date of birth after the script number ie: 1067, October 1967. So sad they went and ruined a good thing.

I understand its Walmart - I guess employees couldn't care less about their customers here. But seriously! This much carelessness is unwarranted for. I waited for more than 30 minutes for someone to come and open a shelf. I was looking for a trimmer. Nobody seemed to care. 3 pages went out and nobody came. Whoever I went to (including customer care) could only do only do one thing. Page for the person who is responsible. I never have high expectations at Walmart but this was the lowest point. Like guys - do you even want to sell those staff that you've locked there?

I was there today and accidentally left my wallet in the store. I thought I heard them page me, but wasn't sure. Left the store then realized I didn't have my wallet. Luckily some very honest person had turned it in to customer service. The customer service person immediately knew about it when I got there and gave it back to me promptly. Many thanks!

Completely rude staff, i’m with my mom using self checkout and the male indian cashier at around 6-6: 30 o clock.kept giving us a dirty look even when we needed help. As were leaving he made a comment saying (bet you’ve never had a bill that big before) … like what we’re you implying? I will never be coming here again

Was just racially profiled at this Walmart. I was walking to self checkout when I was stopped by a supposed lost prevention person asking me to leave the store because it was not evident that particular
self checkout was closed. He was extremely rude and profiled me based on my colour. Then stated I moved the signs for self checkout when this is completely false. There was a witness who saw my actions. Peter the store manager refused to give me this gentlemen's name. I need Walmart corporate involved to address this issue as I just witnessed racism and someone assumed based on my colour I was stealing a bottle and diapers for my little one. Extremely disappointed!

Most of the time, there are only two or three cashiers open, because Walmart is trying to force you to use the self checkout. Not sure about you, but I've never had a self checkout smile at me, and tell me to have a nice day. No thanks.

The most highlighting thing about this Walmart would be the “vision care doctor” she is just amazing. I have never met such a humble, polite, kind and honest doctor. I went in because I had red eye and I was irritating me from last 2 days. Any other Walmart would charge $90 for checkup, but the doctor here came out and before the $90 checkup she wanted to see if it is worth spending my $90. She wrote what eye drops should I take and told me how to take them at the spot. Without charging anything. She literally made my day.

This walmart is horrible never any carts in the front entrance washroom well that is just yuk no descriptipn necessary people working here are rude well except one tall blond lad in self check out today.the girl in produce is tossing apples into the display.now i know why everything is bruised at this location. Walmart your customer service has declined in the passed 2 years i am just one person so my not returning will mean nothing in the grand picture but continue on the lack of un-bruised produce unfriendly, unknowledgeable staff and you will eventually have more leaving and not returning only thing nice i can say is the staff running the optical department are above and beyond friendly and fantastic.

You fill your cart, get to cash area, they don't supply bags, I understand they don't want to supply plastic bags, but there's no reason why they can't supply paper bags. I will not go back to the store. I left a cart 3/4 full at the cash stand cuz I'm not carrying it into the car two or three items at a time, this is totally ridiculous.

I have always had a good experience at the store but one thing, the kitchen the last seven times I have gone in and there are no roasted chicken today Sunday April 24th at 4: 22pm I go in "Oh they will be about an hour" so just in time for after dinner kitchen manager needs a swift boot absolutely unacceptable. For those who think I should go to Costco, Walmart way better just never dependable.

It’s a good sized store, it is the old setup where the pharmacy is in the middle which is sometimes annoying. Rear store Washrooms are in the far northeast corner rather than somewhat centralized. Stock is pretty good. Biggest complaint? Worst parking lot I’ve seen in a Walmart. They force you to go right along the store doors. The place where people are walking. Yet the god awful stupid setup of Laval doesn’t allow us to drive into the parking lot. You’re essentially trapped in there and the strange setup of random stop signs in the middle and then forcing the only exit to go west to Fox (where most people don’t want to go) …

When I politely pointed out that all of the remaining ground beef was expired and asked if there was any in the back, directly in front of kids the employee laughingly replied, “Too bad, not my *curse word* problem! ” and walked into the stock room.
Dumbfounded, I finished shopping then went to customer service to inform the manager about the meat and the employees response.
After a ten minute wait or so, some angry, stout and sweaty, unkempt bearded man- “Pike” I think- shows up and proceeds to tell me that there is no way his employee said what he had said.
I didn’t want or request anything; but a bunch of us heard it as clear as the meat was expired.
This alleged manager was unprofessional and could care less; it explains the attitudes of the floor staff.

Empty shelves, poor product selection, rude customers.
This place looked post apocalyptic, there was no butter, cheese, or eggs. Most of the shelves were empty. Couple this along with rude pushy customers who have either no brains, no respect or zero human decency with regards to COVID 19 protocols and social distancing. During my previous visit I was almost run over by a full sized Dodge pickup in the warzone that camouflages as a parking lot.no more options now that Zellers is gone. I'd give this place a minus rating if I could.

This was a pretty low stress shopping trip. Most stuff was in stock. Except for the patrons in motorized chairs who didn't seem to think the rules applied to them, everyone was obeying the aisle directions and being courteous. I made a mistake in one of my selections and caught the error before leaving the store. The refund process was smooth and efficient.

Great Wal-Mart location. The accessibility is perfect. The parking lot is huge and easy to get in and out of. The store itself is massive but easy to navigate with easy to read signs hung high on the walls. I was able to find an employee and ask for help with selecting what I was looking for. The check out lines are quick and I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes.

I honestly don't like going to Walmart due to the influx of people. Although the customer service people are somewhat disgruntled people when dealing with the customers. They are only following protocol and customers need to be more receptive and not take their frustrations out on the staff. I had no problem finding the items that I came in for and the customer service lady was more than helpful and met all of my needs. I was in and out in no time at all. Good experience in every way possible.

Only went to purchase the few items we needed. I don't like shopping at Walmart, too many items made in China. Walmart even charges for the plastic bags during this Pandemic. No other store does

The employees clearly don't understand the rules of social distancing. I saw an employee walk past someone going the wrong way in a directional aisle. When I asked her why didn't she saw something to the lady she said she didn't see her. When I arrived at the store I asked the Security Guard if the carts had been sanititized and she had no idea. I walked to customer service asked them and they said they were. I told them the Security Guard didn't know. No one from customer went to tell the Security Guard so I did. Very sad this far into this process.

I pulled into the spot for car delivery. They took over half hour, had 4 people come after me and gone before. Then a "lady" parks beside me, only to get out and go into the line to go in store. Definitely need more outside staff.picture is of "lady".
