Good Customer Service
We were at Walmart looking for a specific item we could not find. Not surprised because this store is huge and has everything. So we went to customer service for help. The gentleman there helped us look for the item online and took us right to it to take a look because he was super busy and had to sort through 2 shopping carts filled with items, he brought these to the back with him. He pushed both carts and walked super fast because he needed to get stuff done. Multitasking, hardworking and dedicated loyalty to his company. We forgot to get his name. Thank you for your assistance.

Visited this location and it was great! Store is organzied and big. When I asked for assistance, the staff member walked with me to show me exactly where I could find what I was looking for. This IS proper customer service and something I haven't seen people do in YEARS! This was amazing to see. We opted to be serviced by a cashier and not a robot (self checkout). The cashier was friendly, kind and cashed us out beautifully. It was a great experience. It is a shame that there are more self checkouts than actual cashiers.

I usually avoid this Walmart even though it's the closest to me as they run out things. I used to think it was post-pandemic issues but then realized other Walmarts are fully stocked

I just went to this Walmart store after being released from hospital with my new born baby and husband in the car to pick up a breast pump along with other breast pumping items. There was only one unit of the particular pump I wanted and the price underneath read $119. I took a picture of this as it might have appeared to be a different pumps price. I took a picture of all the pumps on the shelves. The particular pump I was going to purchase was no where priced or labeled on the shelve. When I went to cash out they advised the price was 450. I showed the photo of the shelves. The manger went and looked. She then called the store supervisor. They refused to honour the price. As they said a “customer” could have put it there. However there was no original price anywhere on the shelves (as evidence of my photo). So it would have not been possible for a customer to move this. The store supervisor advised how policies have changed and they don’t need to honour this as they now have policies that protect the consumer and the store. I have since called Walmart corporate and advised them of the situation and I have been advised I will hear a “satisfactory” response within 48-72hrs.

This location repacks returned items and puts it back on the shelf to sell as “new” item (this is the 3rd time experiencing this from this location in the past year). If you go back to complain about being sold a returned item as a “brand new item” the duty manager on site will get aggressive and belligerent. The managers at the store will insist on this being against their policy and will not admit that returned items are being sold as “new” which is actually something that happens fairly often at this location. They are so quick to deny that this issue is happening instead of actually investigating it. Makes one wonder if there are some shady operations going on within. Buyer beware.

I would leave no stars if i could.

I went in here to buy one item quickly, something I told to the cashier as I had a prior engagement, and had to repeat because they kept saying "5 minutes just 5 minutes" until I was there for almost half an hour. They pressured me into signing up for a visa of some sort because I was buying a prepaid visa and I got confused because I thought giving my id was part of buying this visa (something I asked and they said it was part of the process).

The cashier told me multiple times if i give them my id i would receive 40$ off this purchase. Once they finished with my id, they only offered me 15$ off.but not even on my purchase. They said i would receive my discount the next time i come back. I asked why they lied to me and said I'd receive the discount now and they told me i was at fault for all of this.

I was running late for my prior engagement and started having a panic attack.i couldn't breathe and i was shaking.the cashier and the manager, Minza, said it was my fault this was happening and did not try to help reconcile the situation, repeating "it's not a big deal" while refusing to reconcile this mysterious transaction and making me wait while they chatted for 25+ minutes.

Next thing I knew, I was being charged extra and owing debt to a service that wasn't fully or properly explained to me. I am beyond frustrated and concerned with the way they treat their customers here. I understand it's busy, but why try and swindle your customers, especially when I made it clear I was running late? I ended up not making my following engagement and crying in my car.

Minza also kept trying to come really close to me when I'd expressed multiple times I was trying to social distance and I was uncomfortable with her proximity. She repeated that "it's ok i'm vaccinated. " I did not ask her for this information, I was uncomfortable and wished my physical distance to be respected is all.

I was also in the midst of the aforementioned panic attack and just needed someone to calmly explain the situation I was coerced into and then told was all my fault. They said that this is something "I should have known because I live in this country now. " Which felt highly offensive being a BIPOC person who was born here. Although, am I missing something about buying prepaid visas? Granted, it was my first time purchasing one.

I am deeply uncomfortable and saddened that this is how the workers treat customers, but bear in mind this is my first and probably only time being here, so maybe I came in on an off day. But it really felt like they cared more about selling me something than my actual customer experience and service.

That is truly disheartening.

I don't feel comfortable going here. Some staff don't like to wear there masks. Place is dirty. Staff not so friendly. Won't be coming back.

Wish I could choose zero stars. This company for the third time with me and as I’m reading with others, is taking our returns and putting right back on the sales floor. Apparently it’s their policy not to yet here we are. Not only that if you bring it in the managers there will argue with you about it.

I have had accident here. Many of them. Some cashiers are rude. Especially ' the one with Black hair. She has no customer service skills. And she told me about her Septoplasty. Inappropriate ' and I don't care. Can't wait too leave this awful rude town. It has a wide variety though. At the ended the taxes added up. Not so cheap.

I used to love coming here but I hate being berated for a mastercard! My aunt and uncle who dont speak english some how got tricked to BOTH apply for the mastercard and it hit their credit that theyve been building up. Shame on you guys. The last time i was there, the lady at self checkout kept trying to convince me that saving a lousy $10 is worth ruining my credit for. Stop this nonsense.

Bad experiences on pickup to car. The staffs are moving slowly and waited 1.5hr+ to get my stuffs. Also I found a lot of missing stuffs when I got home

My headphones wire got broken and I needa be able to listen to my classes

Nope can get a wire because its all locked down
Cant get one dude to get one wire for me but I can touch all the exposed food without a problem

I was at the Hays Boulevard Store in Oakville this afternoon at 4 pm. I fell in the paint isle. Someone had spilled white or off while paint on the floor. I stepped into it without noticing and went flying. My shoes are destroyed, so are my socks. I got up and was so shaken up. One associate was walking by. I told her that I fell. She could also see the mess on the floor and see the damage to my shoes. She didn’t care. All she said was: ”I don’t work in this section. She said "Go to the front”. She took off and I went to the Customer Service desk. I told the lady that’s always around and seems to be in charge what happened. She went to the Customer Service desk and fiddled around, told the cashier that I feel and want to get reimbursed for the damage to my shoes and socks. NOBODY cared to ask me how I was or if I was hurt. Everyone just stuck their head into the sand. That lady walked away. She said she’d be back and she said she told the Manager. I waited there for 45 minutes. I had asked twice to see the Manager who was “supposed” to come, but in all this time not one person cared about me. NO manager bothered to show up. Nobody cared enough to take my contact info. What a horrible experience. I will never go back to that store. Everyone acted as if they personally had to pay for something. They are totally ignorant human beings. What would have happened to me if I had broken something? Would have left me hanging there? This is a horrible store with horrible uncaring staff. I finally took off and told them I will write a review and I will call head office. This is disgusting. I went back to the paint department to take a photo of the mess. I never thought of doing that at the time of the incident. However, when I got there they had already cleaned up the floor. I am sorry that I didn’t think of taking a photo before leaving the scene. I held on some shelves as I was falling and took some stuff with me. But everything was cleaned up - silently). What a great job. However, you can see my skid marks on the floor. When I returned to Customer Service they had all new people there. All the ones that knew about my situation had disappeared. What a joke, but I also realize that the employees are really powerless when a big company like Walmart doesn't care about their customers.
I am a spa owner. I treat people the way I want to be treated, and I have policies in place. I guess Walmart feels they don't need anything like that! I am 60 plus and I have osteoporosis. Thank God I am fit, but what someone who is not?
I also called their head office. The guy said I should send in my review with the photos, but my email never went through. It just kept coming back. It's just incredible.
NO, I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I had a lovely experience recently. The checkout lanes were long so I decided to go to the self check out. I had quite a few items and the floor supervisor, Sadia, who was passing by, saw my situation and helped me out. I was done in 3 minutes flat. Thanks Sadia for helping an old man out

My grocery order was supposed to be delivered at 3: 00 p.m. Yesterday. After many calls where I was reassured that it was on its way, eight hours later I am informed the order has been cancelled at 3: 00 a.m. With no notice. I am told the next day that there is no delivery possible that day. All calls to Walmart Canada 1-800 number were either impossible to understand due to a horrible connection, or I was put on hold for half an hour only to be disconnected with no answer at all at the home store. I had to order with Metro. Finally a manager called to try to fix the situation, but it was too late. The people I was actually able to talk to eventually were very polite. Their hands are tied- shame on Walmart for putting their employees in these situations. Won't ever order from Walmart again, that's for sure.

Employees don't know what they're doing during COVID.

I ordered an order for curbside pickup with a guaranteed delivery for May 15. Went to pick it up on the date it was expected and was told to come back. I came back a few hours later and was told the order was "cancelled". Manager came out and told me the order isn't in stock so they cancelled my order and I would get a refund. I was really confused and frustrated but went home.

Its been over 2 weeks and I havent gotten a refund for this order. Called customer service and was told that its not been cancelled and I can't cancel it until it is delivered. Oh and the order has been sitting in their warehouse waiting to be picked up by the courier for 11 days. So basically I cant get a refund until they deliver the item to the store and the manager of the Walmart curbside pick up department has no idea how order cancellations work. Such a mess!

ALSO- we went to get Brita filters in store the other day because on the website it is marked as a GROCERY ITEM, which means we can purchase them and I would like to be able to drink filtered water LOL. Asked an employee where we can get them and he told us we can't buy them because they're in the non essential aisle. We showed him the walmart website where it says its essential and he said it doesnt matter we cant buy it and no one will sell it to us and self-check out wont scan it.

He seriously suggested it that if we want it, we have to come back the next day at 7AM, buy 5 things and wait an hour in the car for him to bring it out to us. Can you believe that? We were so annoyed we ducked under the ropes, picked up the Brita and paid for it on self check out (it scanned fine) and left.

Worst location, Always waste time, they should know doordash drivers are not getting paid by hoursly they’re getting paid per order not more $8, they always take more than half an hour, doordash drivers should be prioritized.

Pathetic called the store was on for 6 minutes and phone rang over 40 times. I was told I could order something for curbside pickup.went online to order and says item not in-stock meanwhile I know it's there because I saw it and was within my reach. I need to finish a project and can't because I can't buy it instore and not able to order online.please people answer your dam phone

NOT following COVID protocol with social distancing. RUDE Greeter who yelled at me in front of another customer to return my cart back to the coral, as I help bags of heavy groceries. This resulted in an altercation with the other customer accosting me in the parking lot. He told me to "get a life", etc. I was in tears. I was returning from physio with my arthritic hip, and was in pain; not wanting to take extra steps. I don't know the point of greeters if they are just standing there being useless, not doing their job. I tried to call the manager but there is no service on the phone. Furthermore, I am always agitated by the employees in the isle and in self-check-out that do NOT stay 2m away. Yet, customer service is always slow to return things because they only have 2 employees working there. I am tired of going in there and waiting half and hour in line to do one return. I always feel like I am being policed. Change rooms are closed yet they have no signs in bra, clothing isle. This place is a circus. I have decided to AVOID shopping here moving forward. They DON'T CARE. WASHROOMS ARE FILTHY!

When I lived in Oakville this was my go-to location. Great wonderful staff and everything I needed. The food was always fresh and in stock. The manager and staff were very friendly and helped me find any products.

I shopped at this location at 430 pm today Monday February 22 and have been trying to call and Speak with a manager since 530 pm no one at there customer service desk or any department answer the phone. I was almost walked into by a Customer Service Manager with the name of SID in black marker on the back of his vest as he was walking to there Self CheckOut to help an associate because he was to busy on his cellphone talking to someone to look where he was going. Very unprofessional to have your staff on their cellphones when working.

This is one of the best walmart locations i have been so far. This store is BIG, its CLEAN and Spaced out. Perfect for shopping in such Covid-19 situations.
I did notice that the groceries and even clothes section have bigger varieties than other locations, say for example the Square one. It could be due to the fact that the SQ1 is in a mall location whereas this has its own, plus parking.

Definitely will visit this location going forward, for all my shopping needs!
