This store is run by a bunch of bumbling incompetents. I have accidentally bought the wrong/defective game cards, turned back immediately (with the receipt in hand) and was refused any kind of service and treated very rudely. Even when I tried to bring it up to management they tried to make me do some stupid run around. There are NO cashiers at night anymore and they force everyone to use self checkout which creates a line 10x longer than a cashier ever would. They keep announcing store closing times while I’m waiting. The man in charge of it does not know how to do his job.

Terrible customer service, don’t shop here if you can avoid it. Sadly though, with the way retail is around here, sometimes you can’t.

Good prices for some items, expensive for others. Of course the same can be Saud for almost any store. Clean, friendly staff for the most part. Obvi will be back

Plenty of parking.there is variety of groceries, school suppliers, sporting goods, home improvement needs items, household cleaning, self check out and check out counter, optical store, McDonalds and garden center.
I believe they can improve on their toys choices for kids.
Staff is friendly.

I struggle with Walmart. It feels crowded and under staffed. I don't care for the grocery section I find it over priced. Staff are hit and miss.

The parking lot is dirty. Garbage everywhere. Does nobody clean this disgusting lot up. It is not the cleanest store on the inside either.

I had an amazing experience buying a brand new phone at Walmart with Parker W he was super helpful and willing to answer all the silly questions I had, as this was my first time buying and setting up my own phone plan. He is an excellent employee as he showed great customer service and wonderful personality. (Management) Please thank him for his terrific sales service skills!

Like.it's Walmart? Why is there a review thing.if there is a problem with staff members or something isn't going to company code then you should call corporate.not write a bad review. Walmart is a 5 star place, I'm not letting a minimum wage worker sway that opinion lol. Some of the people who write bad reviews for this place are hilarious, and it's made for a tremendous read. I went in for a phone charger
Walmart thought only half the phone chargers were essential for some reason.
They kicked me out when I went passed the tape to look at the OTHER Phone chargers. The phone charger I needed, for my phone that's essential.

I'll never step foot in this shot hole again.

Bravo to the entitled power hungry manager making covid literally hell for absolutely everyone.

Well, the supervisor Tamara I believe was her name! She needs for more training on how to speak with costumers!
I came in at 7: 30 and I went to buy beer then I kept shopping until I came to ask her if we can buy soil, she literally told me that I can’t buy alcohol pass 8 and it was 8: 10 and I told her I got them before 8!
However, I didn’t buy the alcohol, but I would’ve expected better costumer service from a supervisor at least, very rude approach.
I wonder how do you talk to your team members, I think she needs more training.
I left very upset, and Disappointed!

The curb side stuff is seriously flawed. For the brief time we couldn’t buy “non essential” items like washer fluid, shoes, helmets, pillows, etc.trying to use the online store proved to be an issue. Now that it’s back to normal everything seems to be flowing well again. They are redoing the parking lot though so it may feel busier than usual.

Pharmacy staff at every level assist you. Whether it's buying vitamins or getting a prescription filled, they take the time to answer any questions you may have. This has been my pharmacy for many years and honestly would not want to change!

Do not place your curbside order online. I waited almost an hour for my order to be brought outside while several other people who ordered over the phone received theirs immediately. I was approached multiple times by staff to confirm that I placed my order, yet nobody made an effort to assist me. It was only after waiting for 45 minutes that an associate told me that you should never order online.
In the end, they had to substitute my order so I didn't receive what I wanted anyways. What a miserable experience

BBQs were available in store on Saturday. We returned Monday to find them blocked off and unavailable for purchase. We cannot purchase them online because the store has "0 in stock" even though an employee confirmed there are 10 at the store. The first customer service representative tried to make up different excuses to why we can't buy it. Varying from being sold out, all reserved to it being un essential. They could not figure out why online said their store had 0 but they couldn't do anything about it. So moral of the story: BBQs and alot of other items are just eye candy at Walmart Kingston

I did my 1st online a few weeks ago. Picked my time slot only to have it ready 2 hours later. So much for coinciding with me coming home from work. When I called, I finally got someone after the 4th try. I was hung up on the 3rd attempt. The guy that delivered my stuff was not interested in my response to his question of substitutions as he walked away before I answered.
Today I gave it another go. Order was ready in time however when I went to pick it up, after 40 minutes of waiting I gave up.
I called the number and told the girl how long I had been waiting and I had to work plus 5 cars that had arrived after me received their stuff before me. What is that all about? !
I picked that time slot because it was way before work but when I had to wait that long and still not getting my stuff I was quickly running out of time.
I went back yet again after work. Seamless tonight.
Seems like the same issues based on your reviews yet you're doing nothing to rectify the problem.
I work retail and curbside. Its not difficult and by now you should have it down to a fine science.
Go out and experience it yourself. It needs to be addressed.
You need more people at your peak times. Maybe take a tour of Lablaw and see how well they've figured it out.

I have bought this bread every other week as my ASD son likes this particular one. I have been disappointed with the consistency. First of all this Croissallant bread was always raw from bottom for weeks. I did not say anything as I thought there might be some quality control which will look after this for inconsistency. But now they are double bagging with bread in plastic bag. But now the frequent holes are appearing. I have photos to prove it, but the review is not giving me the option to post it. Disappointed as this is Walmart, they need to do better in making breads in their bread department!

Walmart Kingston Customer Service is useless and rude. I called 3 times and the guy would pick up the phone and hang up right away. Awful experience. Very unprofessional and I'm very upset. I just want a folding table for my new home

Just a suggestion but maybe have a separate line for seniors since its hard for them to wait in line for so long. Often they are uncomfortable using online shopping or may not have a computer at all. Not everyone has family members or friends that can help them to order food etc

I don't know if it's just a series or horrible coincidences; but this store seems disorganized and understocked. Never seem to have what I go in for on a very regular basis. Left with errand trips only partially done to go and complete elsewhere

They can't answer there phones when you call the store to ask a question but when your in Walmart they have no issues standing around talking not doing anything but thats the difference between minamium wage and the actual working class

2hr delay with a scheduled time.
On top of all that it should only be Essential like groceries, and pharmacy!

Below is the survey response I gave to Walmart after shopping there today. Be forewarned their phone app doesn't work always, and they might not answer the phone. Corral someone in the pick-up area and ask! (wish I had done that!) :
I have placed previous orders (maybe 3?) which went just fine. Today.not well at all. My pickup time was 5pm to 6pm. I received an email at 5: 43 saying my order was ready. I was there before 6pm, and used my walmart app to let them know. It was as usual saying "you've arrived! " or something like that, and asking for my spot (#2) and the colour of my car (white). I pushed submit and waited. After about 20 minutes, I thought this was unusually slow and called the number on the sign to check. Your automated answering machine said it would connect me with an associate. It rang and rang for about 4 or 5 minutes before I gave up. I did this 2 or maybe 3 times more, still no answer. About 10 minutes to 7 someone answered and said that my automated entry didn't make it to them. Certainly not what my phone said! They brought it out right away (really another 4 or 5 minutes). So two problems:
1) why did your system not make it through? (or did the associate lie?)
2) Where was whoever was supposed to be answering the phone! Long breaks?
Very disappointing. Especially since your steaks were very good! Time for me to move on to Loblaws.

They cannot manage curbside pickup demand. At the beginning of the pandemic it was understandabe that there would be greater demand and longer wait times, and that was fine. But now, a year in, it is not uncommon to wait more than an hour for a grocery order to be brought out. It is as if they do not put a cap on how many orders can be placed in a given time slot, and the demand completely overwhelms their capacity.

I just waited 3 hours to pick up my only order! The poor kids run the food to the cars were doing there best! The Assistant Manager Jason, has every excuse in the books. Yet her "Told them to tell us they are running 2 hours behind" how about you come out to the parking lot and let people know and see how you can make it right for the people like me that live 40min out of town and driving home and coming back in is not that simple!

Curbside pickup is an absolute nightmare. Store always seems overworked and understaffed and while employees are kind and friendly there is definitely some poor scheduling.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Store says they have curb side pick-up but there's no signage for where to park. Called the number and asked where I should park for pick-up and was told to come inside and go to the service desk. This is the first day of lockdown and they required I go inside if I wanted the products I'd already paid for. Loblaws, Home Depot, Canadian Tire have all figured out curb side pick-up, but apparently Walmart can't.

Both the person who bought sanitizer for the business and the person who plan budget for sanitizer need to drink a 16 oz cup of their sanitizer, that will probably make their almond-sized brains more awake.

Made 3 orders for bikes and 2 of the times they were cancelled by Walmart because of low stock when it stated they had them online now I'm sitting waiting for a supvisor 45 min on the phone now

Why is it that you refuse to open more tills when there's a line up from the cash, all the way back to electronics and the self-checkout is virtually empty?
How has Walmart not clued in, that the majority of people do NOT want to use self-checkout?
When I saw the line, I put my stuff to the side and walked away.
I went to Walmart for selection, and now that I know what I was GOING to buy at Walmart, I found the same large item on Amazon and will have it shipped to my door, without the line-ups and the rest at a local grocery on the way home.
That's not customer service.
BTW, I've also heard about the BS that Walmart pulls WRT employee hours.
Seriously, none of this is cool, Walmart.
