Walmart Supercentre

The checkout lines at this location are horrendously long. When discussed with management, management throws hands in the air and says she doesn't care. Walmart punish those who buy more than 2 items.

4 stars because well its a walmart, and anything can happen.

If you plan to look here for Pokemon and Dbz Cards, this walmart has upgraded the card section to have them placed behind a security glass that looks clean and professional. I had previously left a lengthy review for the poor handling of the section itself. They have since upgraded the area in the past year.

For all other generic items, they're fairly good at keeping those stocked up, so there's that.
Photos for passports are not worth it at any walmart. They usually need to get them retaken when you try to submit them to the passport office.

Edited review for the changes to a few areas. Was surprised they changed anything from a review. It was a noticeable change, so I felt the need to update the review.

I tried to exchange a projector today. I got a bad one on boxing day. I was kindly told to go get a replacement. I did that. She scans the item and serial number for the echange.
Then proceeds to insist that i owe approx $31.50 more if i want to exchange my poorly built projector because it is no longer on sale.
I even asked the door greeter if i was thinking out of line. I explained how if thats how the transaction would go that i would simply cancel the sale out right and go about my day.
Which is what happened. Now your exchange policy has become worse than shipping things back to amazon. I would have asked for a manager. But i was taken aback and annoyed. This was not a new staff member and this situation seems out of line.

Best customer service I have gotten, had a problem with online and they fixed it and were amazingly helpful!

This Walmart has no relationship with the surrounding indigenous community. The door people only stop indigenous people meanwhile when a Caucasian person walks by and the alarm goes off they let them go on. The people in the self checkout watch indigenous people to make sure they scan everything meanwhile they don’t do that to the Caucasian people. The employees follow indigenous people around the store. I get that indigenous people have stereotypes of low lifes and thieves but it’s 2022 Walmart. Indigenous people are getting educated and probably make more than Walmart employees. I know for a fact that I do. So Wetaskiwin Walmart, do better.

My visit to Walmart today “sept 3rd. ” There we’re only two tills open so lines were backed up. The clerk was causing a lot of backlog by not putting through the next persons items until everything was in the first persons cart. When I asked if she had any dividers to put between each customers purchases she advised me they hadn’t used them in years. She had an extremely bad attitude and made you well aware she wasn’t pleased about working. Maybe she should retire.

Best place to shop & the prices are very affordable, as a mom of 2 this is my go to place for everyday essentials & great deals

I found everything I needed, right away and great help from cashier and quick work every where else.

Its under renovations, didn't stay long. Didn't want to search for items needed.

Nice and clean. Good produce section. Wondered why washroom was so close to the produce though?

One white, elderly, female employee who works on the aisle with the cereal and milk was very unhelpful and rude. How unfortunate because the other workers were very nice, especially a female, customer care employee.

Mens clothing stock could be managed better. Every other walmart I've been to has way better stock. It's rare I ever find medium here. Lots of xl plus.

This Walmart is the best stocked and cleanest store I have been to across Canada (from New Brunssick to BC). Although larger sizes are always harder to find at all of their stores (which should be the top priority to Wal-Mart. Larger people are more common ie super tall and broad built).

Old store before renos better! Used to be much better. Anything you needed could make one stop. Not now! Should not have cheaped out adding to grocery area, should have built a bigger store!

I shop here often and the workers are friendly except Danielle Chiasson. I see her bullying her coworkers and antagonizing them when there was originally no issue to begin with. Old woman needs to be talked to by higher ups, her behavior is outrageous.

I purchased a $100 MasterCard Gift Card. Apparently they sold me a tampered gift card, someone at their store was doing that, and they were still selling the tampered gift cards.
When I went and complaint about the fake card Walmart Wetaskiwin, the lady at the customer service told me that someone has been tampering with all our gift cards and we can't refund you, you take it up wiith MasterCard and gave me their phone number, basically Walmart Wetaskiwin washed their hands, and lady didn't even apologized.
I called MasterCard, they told me this a dispute and can take up to 90 days to resolve. That's very bad service and in future I will never buy any gift cards from Walmart and my advice to everyone:

DON'T BUY GIFT CARDS FROM WALMART, especially WETASKIWIN.

Don't go there if you're first Nations they follow you around it's embarrassing, and unwelcoming.

I like shopping here. Meats and vegetables are reasonably priced. Love Mary Browns being right inside Walmart. Makes a great meal after shopping and the chicken is really good not just from Mary Browns but rotisserie chicken from Walmart and lots of salads and buns to enjoy with your chicken dinner.

The employees at this Walmart are always so friendly. They don't hesitate to say "Hello. " They will let you know where items are if you can't find them. The store is always clean & well stocked. If you know your food prices, you'll be able to find some great low-priced items. They just recently re-paved their parking lot & it looks great.

Many items placed over the wrong tags, hard to budget when you have to try to figure out what the actual price is because tons of things are wrong. Hate that there are short belts and they start the next customer well your try to bag your own groceries.

Usually find what ever I'm looking for. Vitamin prices are very good as is clothing ànd food. Shelves are suffering because of the shortages felt by all store right now but mostly ok.
