Disappointed with the extended wait at Walmart due to a credit card promotion. The line was excessively long, seemingly prioritizing sales over customer convenience. While the discounts and cash back offer are appreciated, the execution left much to be desired. I'm pretty sure these credits will lower credit scores. Cashier's rudeness added to the frustration. I wish i could give 0 star
I love this walmart. I've gotten so much free stuff from here. They don't really pay any attention at the self checkout. I got over $200 worth of groceries for $17 last night. And I'm doing it again today.
I don't like the feeling that the ladies have to stand behind you as you self checkout and when done they reprint a receipt and then have the gall to ask if you purchased something I didn't buy but still went thru my grocery to only find out didn't purchase
I have been buying almost all Walmart in the Richmond Hill area, but the Customer Service staff of this superstore are really rude and even have a big issue in even Walmart's Policy. This was the first time I had this kind of experience in this Walmart. I needed to refund one item, they refused to do even the supervisor was rude like the cashier of Customer service, then I went to another nearby Walmart, and easily they did refund. I need Manger to have more training for the staff of this super store.
Much better from other nearby branches. Staff are friendly and all the lines are full of variety of brands. But the clothing part is not suggested in quality.
Customer service lied to me that I need to go to the original store to print my receipt. They can't do it. I think she was just lazy not doing her job.
I had called to ask a question and the person that was talking to me was very rude and disrespectful she was giving too much attitude for a simple question. But overall Walmart is a very good in my opinion.
The washroom by electronics section is GROSS! Not only did it smell of urine, but majority of the stalls had unflushed toilets and no toilet paper. Management didn't care when I brought it to their attention. You'd think with the pandemic, things would be different. Nope!
Big place. I come here for groceries and random stuff. The pickup is on point and fast when I come at 8am Saturday morning. Basically I order a week or two weeks in advance and get the spot early so I can get a good timeslot for pickup. Pickup prescriptions here as well.
Worst Walmart ever. Staff aren’t helpful or friendly AT ALL. They speak in their language 24/7 which is unacceptable. Won’t ever return. It has gone downhill since renovation.
On two occasions, I was at the OSL photolab looking to get some prints done, being my first time, I was lost and not knowing how to do it. Jasdeep, the supervisor there, came to help me. What a pleasant experience being served by him. He was so knowledgeable, so patient listening to what I wanted, how I wanted and Voila, the prints came out perfectly fitting the frames. His willingness to serve and his friendly customer service impressed me tremendously. We need more people like Jasdeep to make shopping at Walmart an enjoyable one. Nutshell, he is a valuable asset to your Company. Thank You. Jasdeep.
I showed up to the correct time and they didn't have my order ready. The disorganization is unreliable and disgusting on September 18th 2021 and these workers on today's shift 12 pm disregarded my concerns and treated me like I was garbage. I understand that stuff can happen, yet, they were the ones late getting my items. I will be contacting head office. If I'm paying for a service I expect it to be at least amicable and polite. People have lives ans schedules.
Just don’t speak English…. Meaning if you need basic assistance, you might as well go elsewhere. Anyone working in produce can’t understand basic English. Shame on Walmart for this not being a prerequisite for employment. I asked for fresh spinach. The few that were there were wilted. There were about 4/5 in the section. She looked at me like I was a foreigner in her country. So I asked another representative…who went over to the other girl that I just finished asking… I knew where this was going. Blind leading the blind (or just incompetent/ignorant). The best response you get is literally “no! ” And that was it. Walked away. Awesome customer service… at its worst. And it’s not the first time. It’s quite seriously getting annoying. Why shop here unless you speak THEIR language. Shame shame shame!
Very un-professional. There is no customer service. No one lifts phone calls. I tried all the phone extensions at various times and many days in this location, no use. Please try to avoid this location for shopping.
Soo crowded. Where is the social distance measures? No one here pays attention. No one follows arrows. This Walmart location is the worst for that. The staff seem drained as well, and under appreciated. I give them kudos for staying strong during these times but where's the relief?
My husband and I were here several times on our mini vacation. The store is very clean and laid out in a manner that makes it super easy to locate what you need. Love this location.
Had a horrible experience at this location today. Went to purchase a minecraft toy that was labeled as $9.97 on the shelf. There was more than five of the same item on the shelf. Went to the cash, was told that this item was $24.99? I explained to the manager “Mona” that I spoke to an employee in the toys section and once I notified her and asked why there was a sign that the toy was $9.97 she removed all of them off the shelf? What type of dishonest store is this. It is not the customers fault that the item is labelled incorrectly. Instead of honouring the price she argued and walked away. Very unprofessional. Never shopping here again.
After we finished using the self check-out, my wife and I forgot to take one of the items we purchased and left the store. Two hours later we finally realized that we left something there. We tried to call the customer service but no one was picking up. It seemed hopeless, but we decided to go back to the Walmart to try our luck and see if someone picked it up. When we got to the customer service, there was a long line up and only one staff was at the desk. The customer she was dealing with was quite a handful and asked for the manager. Soon after, Aly showed up and dealt with the customer. The line started moving along. After Aly finished taking care of the customer, he saw the long line, and stayed to help with trafficking. He came and asked if I needed help, and I explained to him about our situation. Although he knew there wouldn't be much luck, he still tried his best to help search the service desk and bins. He couldn't find my item. He was about to direct me to go check with the self check-out staff, that was when he tried to search one more time, and he found it! Even though the staff just dealt with some troubling customer earlier, Aly and his team maintained their spirit to continue to help other customers. Definitely an admirable trait at this location!
Be careful - when you buy groceries online to be delivered to your home, they sent you a text/email confirming it has been already delivered, while in fact nothing has. I was at home the whole time, no call or knock at the door from the delivery driver.
Just an average Walmart, with lots of great prices. I've never seen produced packaged in saran wrap at a Walmart before so it was nice that no one else is actually touching the food, but sad to see all the plastic waste. We were able to find everything we needed and the store had an easy to follow lay out. Lines moved fast and self-check out helps to speed things up.
Very horrible experience. Rude staff. Return policy allows return of any Walmart product; however staff refused the return and manager was not ready to listen. No valid explanation provided. Always preferred Costco over Walmart; have never been a fan of Walmart. This experience reinforces that Walmart will be out of business in the next 10 to 15 years unless they change their approach towards the customers.
I went to this Walmart yesterday to buy baby formula I got coupons from similac 5 dollars on the coupon it says you can use more than one coupon may be applied towards the purchase of any one product the cashier Mona wouldn't read the coupon or look at it and she was giving so much attitude all I want to do was use more then one coupon never go to and it so hard to find baby formula nowadays never going back to that walmart
I am going to share my experience on June 10 2021 at 14: 10. Everyone at the store are trying their best during this pandemic with the EXCEPTION of the cashier that help us. Total ignore us, wasted our time and treat us like bugs underneath his shoes, just to satisfy his ego. He was a totally different person when he treated his other customer in front of us. Which I hate to say this, was white. Just b/c we are a person of color, he looks down on us. If that's the kind of attitude that Walmart is encouraging then you should just replace every cashier with machine at least I don't have to deal with people like him. Or better yet order things online get it ship to your house. There is always boycotting Walmart but I don't think it's fair to everyone else just b/c of this one person.
This location was usually a great store and was #1 grocery for my daily life. However, it has been changed after the renovation. The vegetable department has been sourced out to a company and they did not provide provide fresh vegetables instead spoiled ones. I have stopped shopping in the vegetable department since pandemic as i don't want to line up to return the spoiled food which was just a few dollars value. I have complained to the management a few times. Definitely my voice was ignored.
I went at customer service for my issue and Manager was trying to convince for singing up for Master Card.like I went for buying pain killer and he is convincing me to take pills with soft drink.
The one star is for the guy who says he’s the manager at the door. Very rude, bad attitude, has no idea what customer service is. Walmart needs to do better with who they promote.
This Walmart location has a huge variety of goods and produce. I expected less from it, but it has a decent amount of organic/natural food, fresh fish department and some "high end" type of food which is normally not represented in the Walmart locations.
There is a self checkout with tap option now, which is amazing. Associates are quite helpful and polite. That's a perfect place for regular grocery shopping with reasonable budget. Sometimes the place gets too crowded with minimum space for maneuvering with the cart that's why I give 4 stars.
Bought lean ground beef in a package, which I have bought several times. This time when I opened the package, the meat was White.callled FAT. Sent several pictures to customer service, and never heard back from anyone. Also tried one of their brands for chicken & rice. 2 pcs of chicken that you had to use a magnify glass to find the chicken. Again sent pictures to customer service and again no response. Not a great customer service.
Came here on Monday March 9th, 2020 to get Nintendo Switch Pro Controller which is on sale everywhere for including Best Buy, in store, though a bit further away than Walmart. Asked the on duty manager at customer service to price match and she kept saying it’s online they don’t match it. I find it difficult to communicate with her so decided to drive further to buy from Best Buy instead. It’s a very bad experience. I don’t normally do price matching but I’m surprised that such big retail store wish to overprice their product instead of matching with modern market price fluctuations. I will probably never purchase any digital stuff from Walmart again due to their over pricing.
Newly renovated location for 2020. Moved the main door to the east side of the building. New layout will take time to get used to, they could have more and larger directory signs in the store. The one they have now is small, so it can be hard to see and read. Overhead signs are a bit far up there to notice clearly. Still the same stock of mediocre products, they've just been arranged differently in the same space. It's as if the manager was playing Jenga one night and started fiddling with the blocks as if they were aisles in the store. Six martinis and a puff of legalized cannabis later and we've got a new store layout. Is it purposeful and efficient? Dunno, but it'll freak you right out. Take a 'trip' and go wander the aisles for yourself. It's a stone groove man.
The store is recently renovated but the arrangement of aisles and products are very confusing. The aisles are not in the same orders as we see in other stores and it is not easy to find a specific product. It looks like a labyrinth if you want to search around. Very confusing and unnecessarily complicated. A survey is needed to find out what people are not happy with the arrangement.
Over the last ten months or so, it's been going through a huge upgrade throughout the store, including relocation of the main entrance. I love the new look. New fashion fixtures, better lighting, two additional aisles of dry groceries. Word is that by the time it's done over the next few weeks, a fresh bakery and meat and seafood counter are coming. Exciting times for shoppers!
Newly renovated. Lots of new Asian groceries, vegetables to match the area demographics. I knew in house bakery, butcher shop and a semi-enclosed fresh fish counter, rotisserie chicken and sushi roll section. Probably about 1/3 bigger than before, while it's still dim for my liking it's not like a horrible cave the way it was before since they added a bit of skylight in the middle of the store. The lack of sunlight was one of the main reason why I didn't previously didn't shop there often. The Loblaw about 2 minutes away needs to step it up or it'll lose business to this place
Had more stock available than I expected. I was doing a regular shopping, not stocking up for the Apocalypse. Many empty shelves, but noticed some cases waiting to be put on the shelves. Could not get everything I needed, but o.k. With that. Picked up what I needed from pharmacy area. Short wait at cash. All in all better than anticipated shopping experience.
Fairly large Walmart with plenty of parking. This location has been under renovation for the past few months, but is looking very good now.
UPDATE: As with many other supermarkets, toilet paper, some meats sections, even pasta and pasta sauce are empty. Cashier lineups are not as bad as when the outbreak panic first started.
What can I say? I love Walmart. I like shopping at this location specifically, because it has a huge, huge parking lot. You'll never have an issue finding parking here. They are currently renovating the store, but they should be completed soon. It's starting to look better already. It should be finished soon.
Under renovation at the moment. There is a new seafood and a custom butcher shop section slated to open in the coming weeks operated by an independent vendors. The McDonald's within the Walmart is almost done with renovation. Looking forward for its completion.
Shelves not stocked, signs are not clearly visible to locate entertainment area, ghetto appearance, strange smell near produce and bathroom was atrocious! Told clerk it needs to be cleaned and she told me to use men's. Only 1 stall in women's
