Manager needs to open more self-checkouts and more cashiers for return! Why I have to wait 45 minutes in a line for return? And the cashier at return section is working slow as Sloths!

Since the store manager changed, this store messed up!

So this means: Minus 1 star. This is very sad for such a well-known retail chain. Claim - Unmannered staff at the cash register, in particular males, very aggressive approach to the store's customers, inability to resolve conflict situations, a request to conduct an ethics training course for the checkout area staff, they are the face of the store.

Low number of employees.
Busy wireless and customer service.

Queues could go for more than hours.

Consider Staples for Bell, Costco for Rogers and Best buy for freedom.

Worst Walmart is right here!

1) Use self check-out = get yelled at by staff: "you can't use hand scanner for small products. " and points at a non-existent sign that supposedly tells you - walks away.
2) Use pick-up = get harassed by staff: "can you complete survey and give me a perfect score. " even before they bring your product.
3) Use regular lane = staff love to comment on everything you purchase: "is this on sale, why you buying more than 2. "

Why Walmart? Why only this location is so horrible?

Interesting place, the staff said that trolleys got stolen but they were actually there in the display.

Horrible delivery system do not order online! Delivery would just leave stuff at the lobby and go. Customer service does nothing about complaints, no one cares. You pay a lot for delivery only to carry everything yourself from the lobby without even knowing they are at the lobby. You have to go explore and search for your stuff.

I wish I had gotten the name of the 2 ladies that helped me this morning. I went shopping the day before and was in a rush and stupidly left behind an item. I only realized when I got home that I left it at the self checkout. I did try calling the store several times to but no answer so I called customer service and they told me to just head back to the same store and see if they would let me either return it or just replace the item. I got to the store early the next morning and spoke with a lady at customer service and told her the situation. I'm assuming she either called over the manager or supervisor and told her what had happened. She then told me they would do it for me this one time and that someone most likely took it or a worker put the item away. I was very thankfully and will most certainly be triple checking before I leave from self checkout. Thank you to the 2 ladies that helped me with my fool mistake I truly appericate it. Will most definetly be coming back to this location if I'm near by.

Very disappointing. Shopping carts if they released had used masks and gloves customers had discarded inside them so clearly Wal-Mart not cleaning them
Cashier was rude.no social distancing.unclean and unsafe in current Covid climate
I will have to think about returning to Wal-Mart!

I'm not thrilled with their new layout. I think it's ridiculous that I have to go from the food side of Walmart to the clothing and hardware side of the store (opposite side of store) to buy my cat food. I asked the manager why? I was told because the customers felt that cat food next to human food was improper. Here's where I think I broke the manager with my reply. Then why do we have solvent cleaners, fabric softeners, dishwasher and laundry soap, etc literally on the opposite side of shelves that hold human food? The smells literally permeate some of those foods. He literally gave me a blank stare and walked away.

Pretty good store for everyday necessities. You do not always find everything you want, but when you do it is good. Used to be much cheaper. Plenty of parking.

The worst customer service ever, there is a line up of about 30ppl to get to customer service mean while they only had 2 staff helping out, speaking with the staff members walking around asked if they can send an extra person behind the counter to help out but no luck, no one seems to care.

Yes.only ONE star. Long, long lineups that take FOREVER to get through. Washrooms still closed, so you"re out of luck if nature calls. I was buying a fair bit of FROZEN food, by the time they finally opened up an addutiinal cashier, I was tempted to be a REALLY difficult customer.and put everything back, and get fresh ones. Yes, the line took so long I was afraid the frozen food would go BAD. I saw a lady with a case of Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger Ale.almost went back and got one.
I will never come here again, what with the construction everywhere, they have moved all the bus stops.just to add to the worst retail experience ever.

Lots of items for groceries, place itself was on the busier side (we went around 230). But this walmart is big enough that you can space yourselves out when doing groceries. Check out line was quick as I went through self check out. Make sure to have a quarter if you want to grab a shopping cart. They did not need quarters before but now they do so keep one handy.

Since all the Canadian departmental stores are bought by Americans companies and later on shutdown، Walmart is the only store left for us to go shopping, even though most of us hate shopping at Walmart. Walmart has no competition; Target left after shutdown of Zeller.walmar is just another $store where at least you can return the cheaply made and overpriced products.
Also, where else you will find managers trying to motive the staff by screaming at them on the floor and slow paced cashiers.
Walmart need to hire full-time staff with polite manners and product knowledge instead of the part-time low paid foreign students to serve the customer better.

So rude and lazy employee none of them like to clean the machines after each use in self check out and if you ask them they start giving you even more attitude and make excuses. I don't know understand why they are getting paid when the customer is the one self check out and bagging all they employee do is stand on top of your head if you are of color like myself

This place is not accessible even the staff is not cooperating for disabled people they have a hate crime to disable people this is my third time I am in Walmart another one and another one I see that stuff is not cooperate with disabled people because they hate disabled people and they’re not good people and they’re not good place I suggested any reasonable person don’t go over there because they’re not cooperative in there I had to disable peoples and this is against Canadian law I think so government need to look out that the policy

It was great for pickup of groceries except for one idiot from doordash asking for his order with no mask on and pushing his way to the front. Walmart staff served him with no mention of his not having a mask.

I think if you’ve been here to be honest you know what you’re dealing with. This is the best store in Canada. Not only I was satisfied with the service in the store. But my goodness the surveillance team picked up that there was a con artist in the store. And they announced it on the speakers and on a megaphone. So anywayses, I would just say thank you all for coming if I were the manager in the store. I don’t even think I would ever announce that there is a con artist in the store. By chance does anyone know if that is even illegal?

Bought clothing, eats, cutlery pots, pans, shoes warm clothing etc. Staff were very helpful. Further I had to exchange 3 pairs of Jeans which they did seamlessly. Great experience.

This is another huge Walmart Supercentre in Scarborough occupying a single floor employing lots of part and full-time people.

You can find almost anything you’re looking for at Walmart. Every department you can think of and more including services and a McDonald’s.

Today’s visit was to pick up a quick item. The parking lot is a zoo so keep your eyes open lest you run over a pedestrian or vide versa.

Checkout lines are usually long and there’s a wait.or use the self-checkout option. Prepare to pay $0.05 for every shopping bag you ask for.

I don’t understand why you have a phone number and no one ever answers. I’ve called this location 10+ times over a period of a 2-3 weeks and have never spoken to a single representative. Just cancel your phone number already and just force people to walk into your trash location. Try finding an intellectual customer service rep that actually knows what their role is.highly unlikely.

This Walmart gets really busy. And checking out can take around 10-15 minutes during peak times. But they have a really wide selection of not just groceries, but household items.

Talk about the perfect Walmart. Staff is always nice and friendly. This location is always open until pretty late 11pm Monday to Friday. They have washrooms that are clean yes clean. A H&R Block on location as well as a McDonald's. The prices are cheap and you can get pretty much anything you can think of at this location. From windshield wipers for the car, food for the house and a BBQ for the backyard. They have freezers st a good price, face cream, makeup and clothes. It really can be the one stop shop for anything you are looking for in Toronto. Only bad thing is NOT enough check out personal they need to work on it guys or girls in the yellow vest jump in and help. Other then that great place by far.

Your typical Wal-Mart. 20 tills, but only 5 cashiers. Lines are huge. Employees are depressed, very few seem happy. Management seems horrible, treat their workers like garbage. There's one particular lady (management position), that seems like a total witch. Caught her yelling at staff, in a quite aggressive way. Feel quite sad for the old timers that work there. Great place to buy cheap stuff. Terrible place to work.

I’m a Walmart fan, but this one is just horrible. They are constantly out of stock in multiple things. The store changes the layout every second day, which confuses people. If you need an item behind a locked area, be prepared to wait at least 40 minutes. The employees have no knowledge of the departments they work, for example, just today I went in looking for a certain brand of Teriyaki Sauce. Since they changed the layout yet again, I needed to ask someone where to look. I found a man working the food section so I asked him where I could find the Teriyaki Sauce and he replied “I don’t know what Teriyaki is”. It’s ridiculous. Who doesn’t know what that is? !
The line ups are incredible. You may see two (and if you’re lucky) three registers open for people with more items. The express lanes are open, but the people working them losing races to snails. Their also extremely rude most times. Then we have the self check out. Either the machine tells you to place the item that you scanned in the bagging section when you already have or it’s telling you that you need assistance for scanning an item. There’s always an issue.
If you don’t have a headache before going in here, you sure will when you leave. Have fun.

After waiting in electronics for over half an hour after paging several times for someone to come there to unlock the cabinets so I could make a purchase of over 1000.00 dollars I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Thanks Walmart. You’d think it being so close to the holiday season you would have people working departments in your store or have some kind of competant employees. I guess not.

This Walmart is situated in the Scarborough super centre and is provided with a spacious car parking facility to accommodate a number of cars. The shopping facility is a spacious one with different departments to help the customers. There is also a place provided for people to get their documents attested by Notary. Motivators are for the convenience of the customers to go to the different floors in the complex.

Ordered winter 4 winter tires on November 01,2018 at store # 3159 but they sell it to other customer. Again ordered on November 09,2018. Now no body pickup phone. Tried to reach over phone 3 days. Very bad experience.

Since I was in the area I thought I'll just shop at this location. It was my worst mistake ever.
Me and my daughter are in the process of redecorating our home and needed a few things. I asked a female worker who was just walking by where the price checker was she shrug her shoulders kissed her teeth and walked away?

The checkout lines were huge so we decided to use the self check out had a little problem so we asked for help the female employee there ignored us and was busy talking to and flirting with a male customer.

As if this wasn't enough once outside in the parking we were walking to our car when we noticed a person walking in a rush and he kept turning back (right behind my car) we proceeded to open our car and load our bags in the trunk. Within a couple of seconds 2 men came running yelling at the suspicious male and grabbed him started hitting him
I heard someone scream "I have a weapon" it was the scariest sight I've ever seen. I was in shock and couldn't drive out since people thought it was amusing and stood behind my car recording this incident with their cellphones.

Horrible experience! So I call them in the evening to enquire about a bike I saw online on their website. They say it’s available. I commute one hour to go buy that only to be told on arrival that they don’t have it and it’s interesting to note that the guy in the bike crew says they never had it since morning. I talk to the operations manager and then the electronics manager (manages the bike department), they tell me I should have asked the persons name whom I spoke to. I told them “Listen! I’m not obliged to ask the persons name, you’re obliged to give me the correct information”. By the way, later came to know that it was “Anderson” the person who told me they had it on “Colin”s advice. “Harjeet” the guy from the bike crew told me they never had it since morning. Both the managers gave me some unwanted suggestions that I should have asked the persons names. Wasted 4 hours of my time and transit costs for no reasons. Have been doing my groceries and essentials at Walmart since 2 years and will probably give a second thought next time I think of getting stuff from Walmart. Thank you Walmart for this experience.

I have lived in more than 12 cities in US and Canada and have been to more than 50 Walmart stores and this is by far the worst of them all. I bought two camping items 2 weeks before and discovered that one air bed which was on “sale” at $85 was actually selling at $65 at bass pro shop. I took that one and went on to return this one at above Walmart, by the way it was bought there only. I concede I misplaced the recipient but what happened next was hell.
1.customer care asked to me to tell me the date on which it was bought, provided.
2. Tell the last 4 digit of my credit card which I used to purchase, provided.
3. Customer representative could not pull the records from the system, not my fault.
4. She flat out refused to refund it. I even pulled my credit card statement and showed the transaction and she confirmed it was actually their own store.
5. I asked to talk to Manager Shawn displayed on board, she is the manager and I cannot talk to the manager.
6. She gave me a gift card after much argument and pretended she is doing favour to me.
Compare this to another Walmart where a representative offered to change my six month old vacuum cleaner without receipt, because it’s belt got broken and I was looking for a replacement belt which he could not find in store.

Another thing to mention is this Walmart does not have many checkout counters (except for self checkout) and I had to be in the queue for 1 hour when I went to buy the stuff 2 weeks before. Absolutely pathetic.

Today May 20/05/2018 at 3: 10 PM, I visited the Walmart at 1900 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1L 2L9. And had a very bad customer service experience. The cashier “Debra” at register 1, terminal WMTCJ008631 did not great me, did not establish eye contact, showed very unhappy facial expressions, appeared to be very unhappy with her job, and just pushed the merchandise over and handed over the receipt, no “Hi”, no “Thank you”. I felt like she was doing me a favor. Unfortunately, Walmart has not been able to provide good customer service. Whenever possible I will shop somewhere else. A shopping experience like this can ruin your whole day and put you in a depressing mood.

Regal Nails inside this super Walmart is an awesome place to get your manicure and pedicure, just ask for Linda she's the best. If not any of the other people that work there are pretty good also.
