Walter Baker Sports Centre

This Centre is great. It has everything you need in terms of recreation. There is a gym/weight room, pool, skating and lounge spaces to sit an chat. Definitely a great place to have in the community especially with the library right next door.

Asian hate is very strong in this place. This is the most absolute worst place to bring your family in if you have a minority in your family member. They kicked out an entire Chinese family for asking if they were treated differently because of their skin color. Just one question and they kick them out. Asian hate in this place is pungent. No apologies, only refund. Human rights tribunal is in progress.

Sure do enjoy Marsha’s Aquafit classes, her energy is always high, she is so much fun I want to come back.

So far the staff there are wonderful. Every experience we've had, has been phenomenal. And we continue to go on regular.

The facilities from the old City of Nepean are great as compared to the old stuff in the City of Ottawa.

I've sat in both rink A & B. Comfortable to watch the little guys practice hockey. Love that the Ottawa Public Library is located in the facility.

Big pool. Good lane swimming. A bit shallow. Water temperature is warm compared to other pools, which is nice if you are puttering around, but gets uncomfortable if you're swimming over a mile. Hot tub is fantastic; hot, spacious, strong water jets. Showers are OK but not private, which might bother some folks. Change rooms are spacious and lockers are good too.

Great place for the family to swim. My only complaint is some of the female lifeguards wear thong bottoms or at least ones that ride very far up making it disturbing to be around. If they were required to wear normal bikini or Bathing suit bottoms it would much better.
Kids pool is nice and warm, hot tub and sauna are a favourite. The teens love the rock climbing wall and diving boards

Excellent facility with really clean pools and it’s well maintained. The changing rooms and wash rooms are very well maintained! They have a lot of parking too.staffs are also very nice!

Superb facilities with indoor swimming pools and friendly staff. The kids swimming area with water splash kids love the place.

This is not a brand new sports center, but it has a modest charm and comfort. It has a nice sitting area, where people can read, study, eat or simply sit down for a rest. There is an Ottawa Public Library inside the complex, which is a magnet to lots of readers, young and old alike. I really like it and enjoy this complex (more than Minto and/or Nepean Sports Complex).

Lots of parking. Library is nice. Facility is a bit out dated but it is old. Pool has sauna and hot tub.

Warmest water in the city, so my favorite pool.) Super conveniently located next to a public library. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Thanks for a great experience.

The staff are friendly, I checked the facilities they have and the types of enrollment.the good thing they have both time base and per visit base.definitely I will subscribe for coming winter to play racket ball and swimming, me and my friends are looking forward for winter indoor activities

Beautiful pool, great for swimming laps and the temperature is always just right. Highly recommend this pool!

The front desk staff are nice and welcoming however the maintenance / security staff are completely incompetent and should be fired

Always loved going here. Arenas are nice, benches are on the small side and the boards are pretty high to jump over. Good viewing area through glass at back on second floor overlooking the arena. It's in the large hallway/commerce area and it's a great spot to watch from

We got kicked out of the library then a floor cleaner and a pair of mall walkers harassed us for hours in front of Sarachi's café.

Good full service pool store on the west end. They offer options and advice that is not always to spend more money. Most of the staff are knowledgeable and at least half are very knowledgeable. You might get some products cheeper at a big box store but you definitely will not get any where near the knowledge or advice. They do service calls but the retail staff do not push service at all which I appreciate.

This place is huge and everyone is very friendly. A large pool (plus kiddie pool) and two hockey rinks.

Nice and clean. It has hocky place, swimming pool, library, exercise rooms. Easy to find a place to sit down and rest with free wifi. The wifi roaming has a problem though. It breaks and reconnect when you roam around.
