Awesome. Judy runs a really good music school. My boys have attended for about 3 years now and have learnt a lot and had a great experience. We are moving out of town so won't be attending any more but I would strongly recommend Judy and her team of musical teachers if you are looking for a great place to learn. Well done Judy and your team. We will miss you.

This is an amazing music school that teaches people of all ages. The instructors are very detailed and they truly show that they care about their students. I reccomend any musician or aspiring musician to take some lessons to refine their craft or learn some new skills!

An easy 5-star rating. My son, 13, has been attending the last 5 years, learning to play the acoustic guitar with Andrew. Andrew is a caring, patient and thoughtful teacher - one of many at the school. Every lesson is accompanied by notes and tips and something new to work on, which has worked to keep things fresh! Great location as well - Streetsville! Enjoy a coffee or a gelato in the neighbourhood while visiting, or stop for lunch or dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants. Rates are more than fair, and Judy - the owner - is very flexible about re-scheduling missed lessons.

Our experience with Wandering Minstrels has been excellent! Judy is friendly, outgoing and professional. Santiago, our son’s guitar teacher is amazing. His passion and knowledge of guitar is infectious and carries over to his students. If you are looking for an amazing school with top notch staff, then look no further! The Wandering Minstrel Music School has created a caring, professional, and customized learning experience. All four of us in our family are taking lessons - guitar, piano and voice. I highly recommend it.

For the past year and I bit I have been taking Zoom voice lessons with the Wandering Minstrel. It has been a fantastic and rewarding experience, greatly increasing my vocal range, not to mention my singing skills. Laura Riggs is a phenomenal instructor, knowledgeable, patient and open to letting her students explore her own genres of music. Check her out online on her various platforms. Judy was very supportive in facilitating the lessons, even though we couldn’t meet in person. I would highly recommend Wandering Minstrel for anyone wanting to hone their musical skills. Young or old, you will be treated with kindness and respect.

I take violin lessons with Sharif, and honestly the patience that man has for my screeching is astounding!

The Wandering Minstrel Music School is a great place to begin learning an instrument! I had violin lessons a few years ago with Alla for 3-4 years and I did electric guitar lessons for a couple months with Santiago. All the teachers are very passionate about what they teach. I was always very impressed with the summer concerts performances every year.
If you’re willing to practice violin daily, you have to get Alla! She will break down the basics for you. She’s a very professional and wants you to be the BEST and nothing less.
Santiago is a really cool guy! He really knows his guitars and genuinely wants you to understand and enjoy what he is teaching.

I just had my first lesson on Tuesday and I am blown away. I have worked with several vocal coaches and I never felt like my genres (rnb, funk, soul) were ever a focus in my lessons, but this instructor is different. Mwansa is very personable and makes me feel confident that with her lessons I will be able to fine-tune my voice in order to reach my goals as a successful performer. I recommend this studio to anyone who is serious about improving their craft.

At the beginning of 2020, I made a resolution to improve my singing. I enrolled at the music school and started taking voice lessons with Maciej, shortly before we went into lock down due to the pandemic. Taking up music lessons has been the most enjoyable and rewarding experience for me over the past 12 months. It's provided me with daily/weekly goals to work towards and a creative outlet where I can express myself and connect with people, even if it had to be virtual for the time being. I'm so grateful for the amazing experiences I've had through the music school and with Maciej and I would encourage anyone thinking about music lessons to sign up!

We have been with Wandering Minstrel for the last year and love it. The rapport with the teacher is excellent, we look forward to the lessons. It feels like a community as a lot of our friends also take lessons there.

I love this school! Judy has a knack for finding the best teachers! I took voice lessons, for many years, at Wandering Minstrel. Sadly, I had to stop my lessons as I returned to university to become a teacher. Recently, I came back, as I'd been asked to sing at my brother's wedding. My new teacher, Maciej, was wonderful! He helped me to get rid of bad habits and find ways to access different parts of my voice. Thanks to Maciej, I had numerous people approaching me, after the wedding to compliment me on my performance at the church. Friends, who are very knowledgeable about music/voice, were amazed at how my voice had grown, and matured, Maciej was kind but firm. He found ways to help me re-connect to my voice, and rid myself of bad habits that had crept in over the years. I cannot thank Judy, and Maciej enough for helping me to grow in confidence, and skill!

Very professional and heartwarming. I have never had such a wonderful school take care of me the way I am at Wandering Minstrel. Let me start off by saying that Judy is such a blessing! I am usually very strict about cancellations and appointments however I was in a point in my life where I was absolutely bombarded with school and work and would often forget I had a lesson to attend to. Well Judy took notice and made sure to call me a day before and sometimes even hours before I had a class so that I would not forget! I have been to other music schools before with a more corperate feel but I can say that you truely are cared for here.

My other praise goes towards my vocal teacher Maciej - A very talented individual, Maciej takes very careful note of the style of music your voice is suited towards while also understanding your musical preference and encorperates both into your lessons. He is kind and without question musically talented and will give you as much effort as you put in. I have had cuouple of vocal teachers in the past but I have never enjoyed my learning so much as I have than with this gentleman.

As a university student this school is a Godsend! It's convenient and fits nicely in my schedule! My coach is patient and easy to talk to and I have so much fun and can hear the improvement in my voice. I have learnt so much and I am still learning about my voice. I can't praise this school enough.
