If i can get -5 starts, i would give it to them, really unprofessional staff especially front desk personal, makes you wait for at least 5 hours even after you see a doctor, under staffed place. Never going back there. Don't suggest to anyone
07 January 2024 1:59
Absolute worst clinic. I came in at 10: 45am and registered. I was told to come back in an hour and id be seen right away. I was back by 11: 40 and told that the doc already called me. Then she came back and said there’s an appointment and then I’d be called.
12: 45pm and still no sign of the doctor. A nurse (I think) came in and asked me “what’s your question? ” No hello, no greeting, no eye contact.

These doctors need some retraining on patient etiquette. If you’re coming here make sure you have an entire day available
15 November 2023 3:47
Shuchitra is very professional and supportive. I really appreciate her outstanding support.
05 November 2023 8:46
Very bad service
Walk in patients have to wait more than 4 hours to see doctor Arif, but reception desk didn't tell you about it.
They misguide and make lies to you.
28 July 2023 5:00
Doctor is friendly, but staff is often very slow. Expect significant wait times, several hours even after you make an appointment. To add on, receptionist and admin assistants are all extremely rude and unaccomodating. You're better off going to a walk in clinic.
01 July 2023 23:36
The doctor is very nice but all the stuff is unorganized, and also all the time I am waiting at list 4 hours to meet the doctor, the last one is never ever answer the phone I don't know way?
19 June 2023 0:51
Total management should be changed have to wait more than 4 hours and they don’t schedule fairly too much frustrating it should be monitored by concern level
14 June 2023 21:03
The receptionist with the pencil eyebrows should be penalized and fired. No ethics no integrity. I would never recommend anyone. Yuck
10 June 2023 17:36
If it is possible i already gave -5 stars. This place is ridiculous. Front desk is rude and slow. They are really kidding with us. Also this place is dirty and smelling like ….
16 May 2023 1:50
Dr. Arif is a disgrace to the name of doctor. He knows that because of language issue & shortage of Bengali Dr.people will come to him & he takes that advantages.
10 May 2023 23:13
Dr Arif Taking unlimited patients everyday from morning till night and that's why he looks like a serious patient because without resting he do this work 6 day's in week,
The employee's working at warden wood medicine clinic are very unprofessional and very rude with patients, it's very disorganized place and unhealthy environment, if you visit them by walking
Or by booked appointment no matter what you have to wait more than 4 hours by various steps
23 April 2023 20:49
Dr Arif undoubtedly a leading physician in the community, telling from my own experience as he is my family physician for more than 12 years! Very sincere and caring doctor! My all family members are attached to him.
29 March 2023 19:01
Receptionists are very slow. If you come to see Dr. Arif waking around need to 3 to 4 hours. They don't care about people also if you come with appointment you need waiting for 2 to 3 hours.
27 February 2023 3:11
Now this is a place where all the rules of any kinds is broken beyond fix. First of all the wait times is minimum 4 hours. Dont even make appointment its a waste of time. They dont honor appointment at all. The language among the reception and all staff is Bangladeshi.
10 January 2023 10:23
I am a healthcare worker. This is not an a good choice if you are looki g for a health clinic or a new doctor. They will not answer the phone or allow you to leave messages. They will not be able to support anyone with complex medical concerns. Please keep your family away from this clinic. Di bot allow lazy providers such as this one to take healthcare funding from our government. Stay safe. The clinic is welcome to challenge this post in a response, but judging how they treat patients at admissions- there will be no response.
30 December 2022 20:11
This is the worst place to go if you are dying. Unprofessional staff. Always speaking in their language. You are standing at the counter waiting for your turn and anyone can just cut in front of you and nobody says anything. I had to get real loud at them a few times. The government needs to shut this place down
27 December 2022 19:25
Dr. Rehana Begum is mentally sick and needs to learn how to talk to patients. She is rude and unprofessional.
19 November 2022 4:20
If you speak Bengali then this is the place for you, or if you are Caucasian and can speak louder then they will hear you. Visited this place for the first time, came at 1130am and didn't get to see the doctor until 4pm. The receptionist do not entertain English speaking Asian people at all, they are rude, arrogant and highly condescending. Became more sick after visiting this place.
31 October 2022 5:42
I was at this place to do 2 step tb test for beginning of new job. It is a nice place to visit, well planned service but you need to book an appointment before visiting.
Reception: Staff at reception is professional but most of the time they don’t know how long you have to wait. Try to make clearance about the waiting time if you are new. Do not hesitate to ask otherwise it’s horrible to wait.
Doctor: I had visit with Dr. Arif, he is awesome and professional. He knows what he is doing.
Doctor assistant is nice too.
As a cash patient I have to pay $65 first time then $40 each visit. I didn’t have health card (only international passport). I hope it helps. Thanks.
30 August 2022 14:51
I have been a patient with Dr Arif since before he opened his own clinic! When he was working for someone else he was a way better doctor! He took his time, his appointment were always in a timely fashion, since he opened his own clinic my 9: 00am appointment every month the first appointment of the day I'm lucky to get out of there by 11: 30 maybe noon
During my visit once I finally get to see him I am lucky if somebody knocks on the door maybe five times to interrupt my appointment! Since there is always so many interruptions and he's never on time I feel my appointment is always cut short and if I want to bring up more than one issue I'm having I have to book another appointment.

Their phone system is ridiculous to try to book an appointment if you calling in the afternoon I've been on hold for an hour and a half someone finally answered the phone put me on hold and then hung up on me and once I tried calling again it went straight to elevator music! At this point I wish there was more family doctors taking on new patients!
25 August 2022 14:44
My son was feeling pain in his ear and we went to the clinic. First try in the morning was unsuccessful because there were too many people with or without appointment. We went again in the afternoon and the receptionist assigned us to Dr. Begum. Waiting time was normal. The doctor's assistant took care of us, then the doctor made the examination and she prescribed the medicine for my son.
Further, having experience with the regular and emergency services in Scarborough clinics and hospitals, I can say that the medical stuff today did everything to give us the best service they are able to provide. They are humans, they give their best, they are exhausted most of the time, but they are still in service. Take this into account before writing bad reviews! And be more patient! We owe them so much!
10 August 2022 20:02
Trying to call last 1hrs to book an appointment urgent but line is getting disconnected before even ringing. I mean what kind of line are they even using! At least there should be an option for staying in line.
11 July 2022 12:52
Very bad service, the receptionist have a lot of attitude and do not care at all about patients. Clearly show favouritism towards people they know. Have no regard for anyone that has been waiting for their appointment! Absolute worst clinic to go to!
13 June 2022 22:08
Not very responsive and supportive. Asks you to call them multiple times which results more frustration but can't come up with a solution.
08 June 2022 16:41
Simply put.they only look out for their own race. I booked an appointment at 10 am on purpose so i could pick up my kids at lunch. I waited 40 mins just to be moved to the back and told I have to wait another 20 mins at least.

They let "their ppl" talk for over 20/25 mins with the doctor but when you're of another race they RUSH you out the door and tell you they can't deal with all your issues and you need 2 come back another day to discuss ur issues. It's infuriating that they put this medical center in a diverse neighborhood but these people only care about their own kind. This neighborhood needs people that care about EVERYONE.
07 June 2022 20:50
Always they go min 3 hours behind for scheduled appointments people. Worst customer experiences
28 May 2022 10:31
Horrible experience always. Staffs are extremely unprofessional, waiting time is crazy. They don't even know the meaning of booking appointment. Not recommended at all. I wish there was option for no star or negative star. Pathetic customer service. I have never been to such a miss managed place where there is no respect for individual's time. Authorities should take action against this place for wasting people's time. Please stay away from this place if possible. Dr. Arif is nice though.
19 April 2022 10:00
Staff conveyed personal medical information over the phone to someone who is not me. I am an adult over 18. This is a serious breach of privacy. This place should be shut down.
15 April 2022 21:50
You can indefinitely expect to be offended in many ways with every visit to this medical centre. Weather it is the lack of respect for your time, the disrespectful and offensive staff or the widespread unprofestionalism throughout the organization, you will be in awe as to how this medical centre remains open to Canadian citizens.
1: If you value your time, you can expect this place will have no regard for it, even if your on time you can expect to wait at least one hour or more past your scheduled apointment to receive your consultation with the physician. This happens without fail so prepare yourself as you wait tirelessly in the in the reception area as they rack up the billable hours.
2: The rude, unprofessional and disrespectful staff in the reception area exhibit disgraceful edicate when dealing with patients. The receptionist is arrogant and condescending when speaking to patients. You will notice discrimination as some patients receiving more favorable service more than others and how this can occur in Canada in this day and age is beyond my comprehension.
3. The widespread unprofestionalism throughout the organization is very shocking and offensive. You can sit in the reception area and listen to patients call in giving their personal an private information over the phone as the receptionist will be speaking with patients handsfree over the speaker in a reception area full of people. So if prefer to keep your personal, medical and health information private, do ask the receptionist to be taken off speaker whenever you call the medical center (smh). Once you have managed to meet with the physician do not expect your consultation to be private as other staff members will constantly barge in the room to interrupt to speak with the doctor about unrelated issues.
Best of Luck.
26 March 2022 20:42
I have a feeling the reception just leaves the phone off the hook. I tried calling them multiple times and it’s always busy- it won’t even connect and let me leave a voicemail or stay on hold. Their faxes won’t go through either- maybe their reception just turns it off too so they don’t have to work?
24 January 2022 20:55
I wish I could give less than one star. Wrost service ever. I got Covid positive and I called at 9: 30, told the receptionist about my situation, I also mentioned I have symptoms so please let the doctor know and call me at earliest time. I took the appointment. I again call on noon, the receptionist again said doctor will call at afternoon. I was waiting for the whole day but doctor didn’t call. I al I don’t understand if the doctor was not informed. Or if informed how unprofessional a doctor can be, Dr. Arif is my family physician. He is good doctor. But I really disappointed with this unprofessional behaviour.
09 December 2021 10:25
Honestly, I don't recommend this clinic to any Canadian citizen because it's really designed for foreigners mainly of Bengali origin. They speak and understand Bengali culture here for Bengali patients because Bengali people also need this essential service. However, most others should carefully look elsewhere for a family doctor fit for them to avoid any misunderstanding and hassle.
12 October 2021 13:23
Very unprofessional staff, no customer care at all, I visited the place and one lady showed me a bad facial expression, she turned away from her position before even talking to her, I went to the other side, one lady didn’t even allow me to explain what I had come for, she just cut me short that “no doctor”. I give -1% these people just for allowing me to enter & leave their premises.
22 September 2021 19:27
The wait time iss soo sooo long for this doctor office that you solely have to dedicate one day for your visit. First of all they overbook and book early in the morning for which the doctor comes hour and half late which puts everyone behind already. I have been waiting for my 11'o clock appointment for 3 hours now (who knows how much longer). They called ppl who are waiting for 10'o clock appointment almost close to 2pm. Not just that, once you get called in, you have to wait inside the room for apx 30 minutes to 1 hour. I am here the second time this week and just for a blood work report. People are calling on the phone yelling at them for their phone appointment which they have been waiting for 2 weeks to receive a call. No patient privacy because they put their phone on speaker and you are hearing everything the patient is saying. I usually bring my laptop/tablet so I can work and not waste time. SADLY I have to give 1 star. Wish there was a no star policy.
11 August 2021 0:30
I have been seeing Dr. Arif in the past five years and unfortunately, the level of service has gone drastically down. The receptionists were horrible then and even more so now, completely unaware of their OWN services, CLUELESS as to what their responsibilities are on a daily basis. They put you on hold for close to an hour only to cut the line when they decide to pick up. When they are unable to answer your question, they will book you an appointment. For example, I asked today if Dr. Arif would administer the second dose of the covid vaccine, her reply was, she does not know and that it is personal. I questioned how she could know and said to her that it cannot be personal as this administration of vaccines are offered in pharmacies and medical clinics. She insisted that I speak to Dr. Arif about it. During this pandemic, appointments are done via phone, you are lucky if you even get a call on the day of the actual appointment, never mind the actual appointment time. Dr. Arif never calls on time, sometimes it could happen in a few days or a week even. In the past, he was never on time with in-person appointments in his clinic so do not bother going to the clinic now. An appointment is made for an organized day to day operation in a normal medical clinic environment, this clinic does not have that. It has been very annoying to deal with Dr. Arif's staff and the only decent person that I can totally relate to is the man in charge of the ultrasound and holter monitors (sorry I forgot his name). Dr. Arif was a caring doctor and I have experienced that with him but I am sorry to say that there is no quality of care anymore as patients are rushed, ignored and not monitored.

This review is not to bad mouth this clinic but to encourage change. I have opened up to Dr Arif about this in the past but the man is too busy to implement change. He needs a professional manager who can take care of day to day operations on his behalf (including professional staff members). They need to be re-trained (I am being polite by using the word “re-trained” as I honestly feel that they were never trained) in customer service, computer skills, and medical office operations. Unfortunately, I cannot see this happening as he will need to pay staff members proper rates and not minimum wage. He will also need to allocate training funds but that is questionable. Sadly.

I have held my opinion for so long and have tried to be patient with this medical clinic but today was just too much. Telling me that she doesn't know if Dr. Arif is administering the second covid vaccine is a total dis-service to their patients and instead was told to speak to the doctor. This simple information would have saved time and effort from both parties but the receptionist is clueless. A very relevant question that patients may call about, and she does not know about it. So if you do not want aggravation, annoyance and dealing with fools regularly, try other clinics. And maybe, just maybe, you would not need a prescription for blood pressure pills.
09 July 2021 15:44
This centre is the most non competent medical service provider, does not maintain appointment timing or schedule, horrible
02 July 2021 23:19
Such a useless clinic. Staff is horrible in communication, rude all the time, they don’t know their work at all, management is terrible by all means. I had a call appointment with Dr Arif, he never called and I was trying to call their number for over a week and no one answered. I had to go and when I talked to the receptionist, she behaved very bad like it was my mistake. I don’t know how and on what basis the Ontario Government have issued them license. Never had such a disgusting experience with any health clinics in my entire life.
09 June 2021 3:16
I wish I could give this clinic less than 1 star. The receptionists are so rude and unprofessional. It's as if they picked random people off the street and gave them a job with no proper training. There is zero coordination. No consideration for PATIENTS who are literally people that could be sick? Or suffering time sensitive illnesses? As if we're not in the midst of a global pandemic where people are literally dying from covid. They tell you they will call one day and never call. Then lie to you and tell you that your appointment was actually scheduled the following day. There are no follow-ups, no notices of cancellations or changes, it's just extremely unprofessional. They don't even have an emailing system.like this is 2021, how do you not have an email where you can coordinate with your patients regarding their appointments. I wish I could report the staff to management for being inconsiderate and incompetent, but we can't even do that because I don't even think there is proper management at this place lol.
04 June 2021 0:21
I called few times on Thursday and nobody picked up the phone. So I physically went for walk in on Wednesday, and was told doc may or may not show up. Then made phone call appointment for Friday and was told to wait for doctor's call. Nobody called by 3 pm, so I called Friday asking whether the doctor forgot. I was told there were too many patient from day before, but the doctor will call before closing time. Nobody called me on Friday. On Saturday, I called at 11am to ask why I didn't get a call. The receptionist took my name and said my appointment was on actually booked on Saturday, not Friday, So he will call today before closing. It's 20 min past closing time, and still no phone call yet, and now Sunday is closed.

What do I do? Wait for Monday now? I am waiting to get a prescription for my inhaler as well as need to urgently fill in my form for being extremely sick and send it to my post secondary institution. I don't even know what to do during this covid. Can I switch doctors? Like what. I was told I'm not allowed to see different doctor for every visit, so I have to stick to my family doc. This is the worst place to expect care when it's urgently needed.

Update:
So I got call from doc unexpectedly at 2pm on Sunday, when it was supposed to be closed. Had 2 rings and missed it. Called back right away twice and nobody picked up. So I went to the clinic physically to find is closed. Next morning on Monday I went to clinic again. The receptionist told me doctor called me on Sunday (again it was closed on Sunday), and because I did not pick up my phone appointment was cancelled. And I told her that I have been waiting for a call since Friday, why would they close on their day off? And what happens if you miss the call by 2 second? And she said no my appointment was actually on Sunday not Friday. At this point I am pretty upset and kept telling her my appointment was on Friday. She suggested I can make a new appointment and wait or I can wait for Doctor to come, however he might not show up today. I was furious but decided to wait. I could hear my doctor calling a patient from inside, meaning he was already here at clinic before I even arrived! So what was the reason to lie to me? ! Then I waited 4 hours to see the doctor. Then the doctor tells me, I quote: "I called you so many times. You didn't pick up. So we had to cancel the appointment. " like a big fat lie right on my face. This is just unbelievable.
06 May 2021 12:33
Calling to make an appointment many time in different hrs & days.no one seems to answer the phone. Very disappointed.how could i make an appointment to refill my prescription.show a little more responsibility kindly.
22 April 2021 4:49
Customer service is very bad. I had an appointment on Monday and until Thursday I have not received my call from doctor. Think of that what is the service.
20 April 2021 17:27
If I could give it a zero star I would. Went in there to book an appointment for my Dad, front desk advised me that they are only doing telephone consultation, fine not a problem. Appointment was booked for Monday March 1st, as I’m writing this it’s March 9th. No phone call from the doctor despite me calling them several times to find out what’s going on and being reassured Doctor will call me. Horrible management, DO NOT BOTHER GOING TO THIS PLACE.
09 April 2021 7:09
Staff and doctors have no coordination. They just treat you like a product. Specially Dr Arif have no courtesy to the patient. I had an appointment with him at 6 pm but he didn't call me.
07 April 2021 7:33
This is certainly one of the worst places in Toronto. RUDE staff. They do not even listen to us. Doctor (if she can be called a doctor) BEGUM is unprepared and disrespectful. I do not understand how come she can work as a physician.

Do not come to this clinic! There are others in Toronto where you will receive a better service from more polite and prepared professionals.
17 March 2021 15:03
Dr Arif is amazing, humble and good Dr.but the front line staff are rude. Management is very poor. Need to wait 4 hours even if you have an appointment.
01 March 2021 14:45
This place does justice to all the terrible reviews it has. Extremely impolite staff and RUDE doctors. I have been there a couple of times because it is the closest clinic to where I live, but today I had the worst experience one could ask for. I paid for a phone consultation, and doctor R. Begum simply refused to provide me with the service. My wife had symptoms, but the doctor refused to give us the chance to explain the situation and said we should look for an emergency clinic. I said she wasn't even listening to me, but she said she didn't have to talk to me and hung up the phone.
I went back to the clinic to ask for a refund, after all, I paid for a service that I didn't get, but they refused to refund me. Even though it's been a few hours since the phone call, my wife and I are still under an enormous level of stress.

This type of treatment is unacceptable in a country like Canada, and I highly recommend that everyone STAY AWAY from this "clinic".
What impresses me the most is they do not seem to care, despite the countless negative reviews they have received. This is startling!
12 February 2021 21:28
There are no responsible about any their patients. When you want to call them they will not answer. Even when they give you appointments they will not call you back!
But I guess they take money from the government even when they didn’t call back to you!
Two times I made an appointment with Dr. Aref but he didn’t call me back. I will report them to government as well!
Specific the reception over there are very rude and stupid.
Why do I call them? Because of Covid19, another clinic does not accept new patients. Otherways I give them a little bit poo
31 December 2020 4:34
I am being treated in physio and rehab. This section deserves a five-star rating, both management and chiropractors. But the other section’s management is horrible. They don’t know manners, how to behave with customers, very very rude, don’t receive calls anymore. Though Dr. Arif is a good doctor.
06 December 2020 1:07
General-
There is no such thing as Etiquettes, manners, or basic customer satisfaction, only clinic where you could feel worse walking out compared to walking in.

On call-
Doctor didn’t have time to advise properly (by which I mean the call lasted less than 40 seconds) because she had to jump and get another patient (moneybag)

Basically!
Money>patient satisfaction
30 November 2020 4:44
Dr. Arif is genuinely a good Doctor, listens to the patient, very cordial and helpful. But this clinic is a very poor management system receptionist who doesn’t pick up the phone. They don’t know manners and customer service. They deserved less than 1 star.
29 November 2020 20:36
Worst receptionist/front desk experience one can ever have. Unbelievably unprofessional stuff. (i am not rating the doctors, i have heard doctor Arif is really good). This clinic deserves zero rating.

Update: Indeed dr. Arif is genuinely a great doctor, listens to the patient, very cordial and helpful. Sad that this medical Center/ reception experience is so bad
11 November 2020 1:55
This place is the worst, receptionists don’t answer the phone, place you on hold for 20 mins, then hang up or speak in a very rude manner. Unable to understand basic English. In office always smells really bad like poop and bad body odour which isn’t easy to stomach when your there because your sick. They take forever to let you see the doctor, 45 mins to 3 hours & and preference and favouritism goes to the Bengali ppl first. Don’t go to this place! The service is less than 1 star
02 November 2020 11:37
So can someone tell me is it normal to have a 9: 00 a.m. Doctor's appointment with your family doctor and then the doctor not arrive until after 10: 30?
01 November 2020 23:44
Shame on the government of Canada for allowing a third world country and third world citizens control our health care system
01 October 2020 7:41
Can't express less than what I have. The clinic is so unresponsive. Their number is wrong. Noone picks up. No assistance for disabled people. Not by machines or humans.
It takes 3 hours to get a hold of someone.
I don't know what more to say.
27 September 2020 17:50
It is unfortunate that the management and staff are, as people have mentioned here, inadequate. However, Dr. Arif genuinely cares for his patients, and does his work with professionalism and a level of dedication you could not imagine. He has been my family doctor for about twelve years now, and I was his patient even before he opened this clinic. With the hours he works every day, it would appear that he is only home to sleep and maybe have breakfast. The wait times are definitely long but when I visit a clinic, it's usually for a reliable, thorough consultation, so going to the clinic I am already mentally prepared for the extraneous inconveniences that precedes that.
15 May 2020 7:29
Wait time is extremely long. 1-2 hours all the time. The receptionists are extremely slow and should go for additional trainings to improve communication and time management skills. Doctors are not bad but should be more time conscious.
18 February 2020 2:20
Absolute worst. You will get more sick if you come to this clinic. Have to wait 3 hours to see the doctor. No professionalism, unclean clinic and worst service. Stay away from this place at all costs
14 February 2020 22:08
Imagine taking a third world country’s clinic and dropping it in toronto.this is exactly what this place is.the absolute worst experience.it’s like waiting in an emergency room at a hospital.the wait time is OUTRAGEOUS even if you have an appointment unless you go as soon as they open.horribly organized. 0/10
13 February 2020 18:59
Unfortunately they do not have time management skills. Dr come whenever they like. Specifically Friday 1 to 2 hour late.
12 October 2019 18:24
I can't believe how horrible this place is. The front desk staff is rude and very unprofessional. Makes me wonder if they are working for free. They seem so miserable doing their job and don't care to listen to the patients. They often just hang up the phone or walk away as they talk amongst each other or check their personal cellphones. & Who can you report it to since management is just awful. Maybe this clinic needs to be reported to the ministry as it gets worst everytime. They have walk in and appointments but why make an appointment when you end up waiting 4 hours to see a doctor who has been overbooked by the front desk secretaries who hate their job. Why over book a doctor and have people wait such hours in pain, sick people or a sick child.how does that make any sense. Give the doctor enough time with his patients and don't over book their so you won't have this issues! Care about your job and treat people right.
I am at disbelief with this place!
10 October 2019 7:32
STAY AWAY from this place.

I agree with all that has been said about this clinic. This place is horrible! It's dirty, staff are impolite and always look unhappy as if working there was a burden. It's also hard to understand what they say. Be prepared to wait for an excruciatingly long time and get a TERRIBLE service. It looks like a bad third-world clinic.
There are other clinics in that area that offer a way better service, and they are cleaner and have more polite and friendly staff. What's worse is that they don't seem to care. It is what it is.
My advice? Look for another clinic.
24 December 2018 2:43
The staff are friendly and I highly recommend Dr. Begum and Dr. Arif. They take the time to go over your test results and listen to any health problems that you have. They are very smart, analytical, patient, and kind. However, the wait time can be long because the center is so busy. It is also difficult sometimes to book an appointment over the phone because it disconnects.
