Wasaga Beach Provincial Park - Beach Area 2

Everything was good but the bathroom location is not good. On beach bathroom suppose to be near parking area so people can wash them and sit in the car but at wasaga Beach washroom is in middle so wash sand and walk in sand again to get in to parking lot and water in the washroom is extremely cold plus only 1 water hooz is outside there are 100000⁰ people and 1 washroom long line up outside the washroom every time I saw and no cleaning person was cleaning. So 3 things need to be improved.

Beautiful beach with the longest shoreline! There’s space for everyone to enjoy. We arrived in the midday, the parking lot was almost full. It gets really busy on weekends.

Wasega Beach has been our go to beach since last 20 years. A lot has changed since the crowd, the water quality etc but the beach is not to blame for it. My daughter love beaches and anytime we want to go to once without having to drive too much far away we go to Wasega. The funnel cake place hold a special memory but that place is no more there. All in all decent place to picnic if you can go early and secure better spot. Washrooms are ok not the cleanest. There are lots of shops to shop around. Just little too crowded that’s all. And yah don’t forget to get your day permit

Best Beach In Ontario! Huge Space To Play & Great For Swimming On Those Hot Summer Day's To Cool Off.

I have been going to Beach 2 for many, many years. Now I bring my kids. The beach is man-made and the water is dark, not clear to see at the bottom. The sand is brown, as shown in the pictures. But all in all, Wasaga Beach is a great place to spend the day with family relaxing on the beach.

Get here as early as possible to enjoy the most zen moments in your life.

The stillness of the lake and the morning breeze are hard to enjoy after the crowd gets here.

Nice place for family and friends. Warm water and long Sandy Beach. Now it is mandatory to get a Daily Vehicle Permit from the Ontario parks website. But the parking lot at the 5th Street North is operated by the city. So DVP is not applicable there. So make sure you park at the correct parking lot. The city enforcement people are not professional and not trained. So I am downgrading my rating.

The beach itself is beautiful, water is great for families and we can easily spend a day - bbq, picnic, volleyball, games etc.
The bathroom was really dirty and the place was crowded.
Lots of restaurants and shops around.

It's my favorite place to visit in the summer! Love to walk there, rent a place, swim, and hit a patio in the evening.

Nice and quiet serene. This section of the beach is pretty peaceful but most of the activities and buzz is around beach area 1 with all the shops and events happening. You can park your car and get a spot with ease in beach area 2 though

The beach is clean around the beach entrance 2. The parking was easily pre booked which is highly recommended.

The best part is walking path pavement for ease to move strollers/wagons and bicycle ️

World’s longest fresh water beach, well maintained, water was clean and not so deep, great place for kids and families. Lots of parking available near the beach and picnic tables laid on most of the beaches.

Nice but crowded beach area. The water and surrounding areas are nice. We come from Florida, so we have some beaches that put this to shame, but for Canada and the north this is pretty decent.
