Wasaga Beach Provincial Park - Beach Area 4

Quieter than most of the beaches in Wasaga, sand bars go quite a way out so you can walk easily into the water.

Clean, abundant space along this section of beach. Large grass park along beach edge. Picnic table access.

I always enjoy going to beach 4. There's a washroom, park, and less people than the first 3 beaches.

Beautiful and unique beach. Worth a detour. Can be Very busy though (parking can be difficult and the beach crowded). Sand is very fine and water is very shallow until far out. There is typically wind making it feel colder.

Clean beach and parking area. Need to get a drinking fountain on beach 4 and sort out the poor entry payment system.
Could easily have a meter inside the park for pay and display or online.

The beach going to the water is muddy in this area. The water has a lot of algae and dirt. And the smell is horrible. I don't know if we came at a bad time but if you walk farther away from beach 4 shore, the water is cleaner and there's no nasty smell from the water.

It still got 3 stars as the washrooms are clean, but there's no outdoor shower. Parking is $21 for the entire day and you can stay till late night. Parking is not far from the beach. There's a playground for kids as well. There's a few picnic tables in the beach so that's a plus.

Beautiful place! Beach is clean and water is shallow for a good distance. Definitely would go back!

Cars jammed everywhere waiting for entering, parking charges $20, most of all, the beach is so muddy and smelly that we don’t even want to wet our feet. We have our dog with us, a patroller want us to move to “dog beach” which is so hard to find. While we decide to leave, a lady nearby shout to my face: your dog shouldn’t be on the beach! I said I’m leaving. Then her friend said to her: don’t mind, the city is coming anyway. I was blown away by such encouragement. All in all, it’s been not such a pleasant place for me after 2 hours drive in a hot summer day. I wish the water was clear and people friendly.

It's a beautiful spot. We were there late fall so it was cold and windy. Need to come in the summer. If you dress warm you can still hike or go for a great walk.

It's a nice little beach area. It's off the main beach area so it might not be as busy as the main area.

The access to the beach is not that obvious if you are not from the area. No Cantines or snack shacks.

Nice Sandy Beach. As it is too shallow in the beginning, water might be a bit dirty/Sandy but gets clearer as you walk in.
Even my 3 years old could walk in for atleast 10~20 of meters, and shallower water for 10s of meters makes it a perfect spot for families specially with young kids.
Playground and ample picnic area for barbecue and other activities.

A very good beach with deep and shallow points. The only downside is the dirty water at the very beginning.

Nice park area and easy access to the beach. Lots of green space to play and there is a playground for the kids. Bathrooms are not far by as well. You can bbq here with propane. Lots of picnic tables and shade.

We were a big group. Went to beach 4. It was alright.water was dirty but overall it was ok. Great place for a friend's get together.

Wasaga Beach is a gorgeous Beach that is a must see. Beach 4 has many beautiful spots on the beach. The sand is soft and very clean. Lots of tables available in the grass area and the washroom is fairly clean. I went throughout the month of August and the water was warm and not as cold as it usually is in the beginning of the summer. Also, entry has been free from Monday thru Thursday. The sunset is spectacular!

Beautiful beach. Water levels are perfect for kids to enjoy. If you want a more touristy experience go to Beach 1 otherwise for a quiet more private area, beach 4 is great. Parking is $18 that can be used on any public beach parking lots

We come here every year. Great for picnic and BBQ and swimming. Plenty of shady spots available.

We rent a cottage here annually. Thankfully it is not half as crazy this year as last year was. Much cleaner and more beach area this year too. We had a park pass and visited all the beaches. The weather was on and off but it is still a beautiful place to hang out.

Despite it being a weekend, the beach wasn't very crowded, especially beach 4 and 5. The washrooms were well-maintained and very clean.

I've been coming to wasga for years now with my kids. Great sandy beach that stretches for forever. Parks and picnics tables are available as well as parks. The water is so nice with sand bars so you can go far out into the water.

Playground was great for the grandkids. The sun was beaming with high waves. And cold wind.beautiful always.

Beautiful place, great for parents and kids. The water is usually warm and not deep, so it is very safe for kids.

Amazing park. 4 stars because in some areas water is dirty at the shore line. Otherwise amazing place to spend a day off

Went there only once this year. Water was okay, not as clean as Sauble Beach. It felt quite muddy bu the shore but it was clear blue after like 10 feet into the water. Kids had a good time. Due to Covid they only allowed certain number of cars and closed the area once they reach capacity. The rest of the parking lot was also closed for social distancing. Bathroom were kept clean and the line ups weren't long either.

Nice beach. It's not very busy due to covid. I recommend beach 4 if you are with kids. Washrooms are available right next to kid's play area.

Excellent, quiet beach. Perfect for the family and for those who do not want crowded beaches. Water has lot of soil though. Lots of benches across the park and few are right near the beach. You can hv a perfect dinner while watching the sunset and beach water

Plenty of space, nice soft sand and tons of shallows for the kids. Permanent washroom structure to change in. Plenty of picnic tables. Parking is flat rate of $18 for the day with unlimited in/out privileges.

Best view and surrounded by trees but beach is not clean and too dirty. I don’t recommend to swim over there. Better to take bath at home and enjoy just view of wasaga nowadays. It’s used to be a good cleaned beach I heard from many people. Sorry for that. Try to go early and find good spot for camping. There’s plenty of parking available but u have to pay entrance fees for your vehicle not people.

Visit in the summer months for a great beach get away. A scenic drive from the GTA. I would highly recommend visiting.

But going on a long weekend was a crazy idea.people need to be more respect when visiting and clean up thier trash.samefull

The wave and the lake are wonderfull. The beach and the (or what left of it) are clean and the sand is sooo nice. But this year 90% of beach 4 as no sand are all. It's hard to find a spot to put the umbrella.

It is a nice beach. The sand area is not too big but it's enough for children to play and swim. Parking permit fee is $18.

While the beach in itself was great the way people maintain it is really sad. We could see a lot of garbage around the beach area and the public washrooms were so dirty that you'll think twice before using them.
If the above are taken care of them this is easily one of the best beaches I have ever been to.

Beautiful beach with lots of food and entertainment, for all ages. Please keep our beaches clean by leaving it the way you found it!

Always my choice in Wasaga, the trees, the tables, the washrooms and the chance to make BBQS make it the best option if you come with the family

This a great place to spend lazy time at a nice sandy beach of Wasaga. Lots of space, quiet and very cozy.

I was on beach #4 July 2017 the shallow end was pretty dirty. I rather go somewhere else. The deep end was nice, but you would have to enter through the dirt.
