Waste Connections of Canada - Ajax

We have been utilizing Waste Connections of Canada for our 375,000 s.f. Industrial complex in Scarborough. While the relationship is new, the service and communication has been solid and the pricing is fair. We are very satisfied with the service thus far and my rep Dennis Galea is top notch!

Do not deal with them, they were great at first, gave me good pricing etc. Then hit me with a 30% bill increase the next year claiming they can increase the price to anything they want, the new rep that took over is rude and condescending, just avoid this company!

This has been a very disappointing experience with this waste company, very ill management system.
I have requested to cancel my waste service since last week because the new driver of your company for the route of M1L1C2 danforth avenue is a very lazy worker. He is not picking up the garbage from our bin for the last several months and the company doesn't care about the customers, they just keep sending the invoice without providing the service. I am paying you for doing nothing for a long time.
The sales representative is no less the lazy driver, I think they are brothers because since last I am calling the waste company again and again to cancel the service but they telling me that I will get a call from the sales representative.
I called last week when they said the sales rep will give a callback the same day, but I got no callback. Yesterday I called them they said the sales rep was on vacation last week, and he will give call back today, but again there was no callback.  I called again 4 times today, they are saying that sales will give a callback but I don't know to whom are they giving the callback?
And, surprisingly I got a new invoice yesterday. For what? Are you guys doing this on purpose? To charge as much as you can? Total waste service and 100% waste employees

Be careful doing business with these people! They won’t disclose the hidden fee and when you want them to pick up the bin they will slam you with charges! The rep I dealt with left the company and they new one is beyond rude!

Do not do business with Waste Connections. This company made a clerical error in 2017 and continued to charge our non-profit organization for an on-call service for 5 years despite us not having one of their bins on-site. Waste Connections charged fees including labour charges, container maintenance, carbon emissions recovery, and fuel & environmental surcharges, all of which are impossible to charge if there is no bin/container on-site to be serviced. I contacted them in late 2022 when I discovered the invoices, made sure the service was cancelled, and I have tried to resolve these fraudulent charges over the past few months but I am left waiting weeks to months for a reply. I was told I should speak with the Site Manager, Kevin Brown, who has not responded to any communications. While I cannot speak to their actual waste disposal service, I can attest that their business practices are highly suspect and that they show poor leadership when it comes to taking responsibility for their mistakes.

They are not picking bin and charging without providing the service since last several month and no response when you call for cancelation of service

Kafil Merchant is an excellent Customer service rep. He represents Waste connection with a high level of professionalism and a quick response that i appreciate.

Still waiting on a refund from last October and November. All was great when you wanted the service, but once done the service sucks.
