Waste Connections of Canada - Kingston

I just got back from this location after dumping just a twin boxspring and a couple old kids toys. I explained that was all I had to the lady when I was there. Upon eisting she informed me that the bill was $50. I was quite shocked as all I had was the above items. In shock I asked is this correct? She mentioned there was a 50 dollar minimum charge (which was not communicated). I asked her if she could give me a break because I was new to kingston and the simple answer was "no". I have four kids, money is tight and its right after Christmas. I feel robbed. I don't recommend ever going here and now I know why people do illegal dumping.

Slowly rebuilding our home means using Waste Management a couple of times a year. Usually with a van load but sometimes just in the car. Never had a problem. They are efficient and professional and often quite busy. I'm guessing at least a thousand a day, as they have big trucks dropping off their loads too. Easy access, just weigh in and weigh out, and pay for the difference. What could be simpler? Highly recommended!

A good example of policy and executive management failure.
If you are a small business you will note the incredible increase in costs for garbage removal, left un checked they will continue to raise the rate.
If your in contract, good luck, your whole world can go upside down and they will definitely kick you when your down.
The main driver is the inflation being passed directly to you, in which they absolutely expect you to pass to your community.
The ‘inflation’ started from the top, these are the policy makers and they are much smarter then us, just ask them.
These are also the people who structured the business to be ultra exposed (profitable) to sudden and truthfully expected raises in costs.
These are the same people who will not absorb a cent, and insist it will trickle down to you.

Working with Kristin Lloyd has truly been a pleasure. We have a somewhat odd requirement for removal of long wooden crates that in the past have been very difficult to dispose of. She worked with me to get a great process in place at a reasonable price. She follows up for future loads and has been very pleasant and professional to work with. This service has been a great addition to our corporate goal of 0% to landfill. Hope to continue and build this relationship going forward.

I've been using waste connections for dumpster rentals at multiple sites. The service has been amazing. Always quick to respond, never had any issues!

The service has been impeccable, transition very well organized, and all our concerns and needs have been easily met. Absolute scam of a company. Their reps lie through their teeth into be phone with you. Don’t trust a word they say. Don’t say you weren’t warned

Garbage truck dumps dumpsters and compacts garbage right next to apartment buildings at 7: 30 AM. No consideration for people who work night shift etc.
