Watan Kabob

Nice halal choice in Mississauge. They have accommodation for offering Salah. I tried their Bolani, an economical vegetarian dish. Quite tasty and fulfilling. Service is a little slow because they're quite busy during rush hour.

It was very good I ordered chapli kabab with rice and it was amazing. Must try it. Probably the best kabab with rice.

It's a nice place, but somehow I liked the food of the financial drive Mississauga.it's near my home, I guess I can still have dinner here once in a while.they have plenty of parking spots, it was crowded. I liked it and definitely recommend visiting once.

Food is relatively good. I noticed they did add quite a bit of options as compared to before. I would recommend that if you want to keep it light, just get the skewers separately, and add naan if you would like.

Best lamb shank ever. Fresh delicious food and a great portion. My most favorite place for Afghan food, period.

Food never disappoints, one on Matheson is better than Mississauga one. Naans are great.along with chapli kabobs.

I ordered meals and it cost me$ 130 by Uber Eats, I didn't get the food, he never came back.

This is like a cafeteria style restaurant, where you order your food at the counter, and you pick it up later when it’s ready and bring it to your table yourself. The food is very tasty. The portions are large. You are guaranteed not to go leave hungry

We ordered some food for a small lunch with friends. Everyone loved the beef kofta and chicken kofta the beef tikka was great too! Would definitely go back

Their Tandoori chicken kabob and beef kabob dinners are one of the best in town. Portions are well worth the price. Make sure to order ahead for takeout. Very busy most of the time.

Ordered from them regularly at our office. Today was the worst Kabob i've eaten in my life. We ordered 5 meals, all were old and cold. Two of them (the kefta type) were burnt on one end and un-cooked on the other. We dont have time to complain about food but this was unacceptable. We called the restaurant and they seemed not to believe us, like we were trying to scam them out of free food. They wanted us to bring the food back to get compenstated. Worst customer service. They also wanted us to put a deposit down to order. What kind of business is this?

Went on November 7,2021 to do food review of Watan Kabob solo. I was told that most selling and best dish is Tandoori Wazir and in veg they recommended eggplant dish. Both dishes were very good. The service here is very slow and they make a lot of mistakes in your order. The Dundas location is far superior. I was surprised by how slow this location is compared to the Dundas location. It is a shame since the food is good

My favorite place ever.love their foods so much. Great place to go. I can't never finished my food so finished the next day. Yummy

I placed a large order for take out, selected several different items from their menu. When I looked at the items at home, I couldn't serve any of them to my guests! The meats looked rotten! They simply over grilled their about to rot meats and sold them to me! Chicken was old, hard and flavorless. Kabobs too were dry, shrunken down to half in size, blackened and burnt! Beef was the same too! When I contacted them to complain, they didn't care at all! Never going to this place again!

Too many fake reviews. There are some questionable characters in this business. I think one dude lives in his car.

Everything was so well seasoned, from the kebabs, to the rice!

Had an amazing experience at this location. This was the first one I’ve ever known. And it definitely stands out from all the other ones.

Irresponsible and careless staff made mistake in my order twice so I waited one hour and they say we made mistake! Terrible service

Food was horrible we ordered online and we came exactly on time food was cold and not fresh at all you cannot chew beef.we complained and got our meals exchanged with hot meals but again taste horrible not seasoned at all will never order again from this branch

I bought Chapli Kabab and Boneless Chicken Tikka. They were very dry and tasteless. I couldn't eat it really. I will not come here again.

Must try the number 2 and number 14 combo as a dinner. Wish they had more seating and a better ambience. Renovation needed. Food is top notch.

4.5 for sure. Some of the best Afghan food around. My pics aren’t the best. I was so hungry and the proteins we’re great. This time, got the Tandoori Fish (if you like tandoor, it’s flawless - I think they use basa fish) and the Waziri kabob dinner (beef kabob / tandoori chicken kabob). You can read the menu. But delivery quality was excellent. I’ve done in person and the same. I don’t love the thick naan, so I usually get the bolani as a carb as well as rice. The beef kabob was light and tasteful. But nothing beats the tandoori. It’s not spicy but flavourful. Tender as well. Don’t get tricked if you think you you might like Afghan. Rice is so well done, vegetables (salad or roasted tomatoes are decent) and meats are gold! Enjoy.

Best chicken tandoori. Portions are so great. Always fresh meat. Beef kofta, Chapli and Chicken tandoori are the best.

Yes I will recommend this place for food, nice food but I hsve one small suggestion whenever u give the wrap Naan stick with wrapping paper which is not good please do something otherwise everything is ok.

A must have at this place is the lamb shank.their meat preparations are all amazing. Been coming here for a couple of years

Placed an online and drop by for curbside pickup.
The order wasn't even started when I arrived. By listening their conversation between the staff, i realized they missed the order for some reason and started when I got there. I waited other 20 minutes! Guys don't presume that you are the only speak that language because I understand your language and understood the conversation you guys had!

Half of the items on the Menu are not available. Vegetarian options are limited. To add insult to injury, they took money for the Vegetarian order, waited half an hour and then said that they did not have half of the ingredients of the dish we ordered. So we have to eat half prepared food for full price.

Meat qualify, taste and food freshness always good. Service is also if you like Afghani or middle eastern food, that's your spot.

Bad experience with the management on how a delayed order delivery was handled, the owner just couldn't talk to the customer

1 who hell he is to misbehave with customers is he nut first time I came there I was engage with representative he came to me start checking my temperature and roundly said next time come from the other way if he has that much problem why you guys doesn't shut that freaking door if you don't so he his to misbehaving like that after all these experience what you think do I and all of you wants to go there for disrespecting yourself. I am not.ever.

I love this place, I have been eating food from this place from quiet sometime & the best thing is their consistency in both quantity, quality & taste.

They get a 1 star because of their simply atrocious customer service, attention to detail, and wait times (even after ordering an hour ahead at time). Simply awful.

Phone orders was served on time. Food taste fresh and delicious. Good serving. CoVid protocol observed.

Very disappointing customer service. They forgot my order even after reminding them couple of times. They made me wait for more than 40 mins for a take out because it was misplaced. The food is good but overall experience was ruined.

I ask for fresh naan and the change it to another cold one rice is also cold.very disappointed this time

Had the unpleasant experience dealing with this branch. After driving down with the whole family to colllect dinner, half the order was missed out. They soon discovered the error and called back to inform us that we should all drive down to come pick it up. After asking for a supervisor, a disgruntled lady came on the phone completley clueless and unapologetic. She offered the solution that we drive down to pick it up or the next time i visit the restaurant they would give me the dish. After an annoying conversation with this supervisor who claims her name was Manpreet she finally agreed to refund the cost of the meal.

Watan Kabob, maybe when your customers have received a bad experience an apology would be the decent thing to do. Maybe your superviors need to be advised on the importance of being courteous. Mistakes happen, but attitude is a choice.

Awesome! Food is fresh and delicious. Service is fast and for take out calling ahead makes it even faster! Great staff, polite and professional. Will be going again and again.

Very good Afghani food. No complaints about the food or generous portions BUT.the ringing sound when an order is ready can get very annoying. It goes off on average once a minute. But the food is worth it.

Value for money
I couldn’t finish the whole plate. The best food I have ever tried in Mississauga which is worth the money i spend. There dishes come with dinner (12-15$) or salad i think, with dinner with rice with good amount with salads in it and chicken is filled with flavour and huge quantity of food will drag you there for the second time for sure. They also give bread for every order and 2 side sauce of which white coloured is my favourite and the mango juice that i tried which is which little bit pricey (6$) but worth it as it is thick and juicy.

Probably of the best Kabob places in Brampton Mississauga area. The food is amazing, portion sizes are good and service is wonderful. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy the food but equally quick if you want to do a pick n go!

They are 100% Halal and have one of the best Afghan cuisine I have ever ate. The store is mostly extremely busy so there is limited seating, so be vary of that if you are planning to go and eat there

Seems like this place is always busy. The food is always tasty and flavorful. A tad on the pricier side. Wait times are often long. But overall great food.

One of the best spots in the 905 to get a bite to eat. I've tried the Waziri kebab as well as the Chappli kebab and both are very tender, perfectly seasoned and always prepared fresh! The naan is also piping hot, making the plate highly filling! The only slight drawback is that it can get quite busy but that is the price to be paid for quality food! Arguably the best Afghan restaurant in the GTA!

Love this place
I go here all the time. The Tandoori chicken salad and naan is my favorite thing to get but the wraps are delicious as well.

The only down side is the wait time. The food is fresh and the prices are low, but the trade off it the long wait to get your items. It seems like they're working at the fastest rate they can but it just takes a while to deliver that quality.

Well, their Lamb chops dinner is the most expensive but the meat is 4 pieces of tiny bits. It doesn't offer value for money at all. I tried Kandahar Afghanistan restaurant in Scarborough and i was very pleased with their food. I don't know about the value this restaurant can offer its clients.

Food was great and even though we went while it was super busy we only waited about 10 minutes or so for the food which was impressive. The staff seem nice and we saw one staff offer to clean up a table for a family even though it was busy. Really liked the system that they have where you just check the screen if your order is ready. The naan was probably my favorite part as it was so fluffy and soft. We also really enjoyed the fact that there were very few onions in the salad as another kabob place I've been too puts too much.

I am regular customer from 2 years. I come with my family twice every week. The food quality used to be very good but now from the time they have opened a new location, the food quality at matheson & hurontario location has become the WORST (Food is Never Hot and it has happened 6 times continously). It is better to go at their other location on Dunda & Winston Churchill because at that location the food quality is still as good as it used to be at this place.
I think the owner of the franchise sits at the new location and employees at matheson chill.

I am writing this review while having my last meal at this location. I will NEVER come to this garbage location. I Swear.

This food deserves a five star review for taste and quantity however the restaurant cleanliness is seriously lacking. I understand patrons making a mess at tables. But the walkways were dirty. The womans washroom was disgusting and there was watering can in the stall. The visible trash compactor from the parking lot was an eyesore.

Food is good but service is absolutely disgusting. The food is never ready when you place an order on the phone. They say 20 prepare for one hour. The staff is are the most unfriendly and inefficient ppl working in a service industry business. From the mannerism on the phone to the checkout when paying.no manners.no service.im done with this place.smile it won't hurt. Get the order right it's not that hard.i have been supporting this business for a long time as I like this type of food.however it's a painful procedure to deal with such unpleasant people all the time.it seems the bigger you guys get the worst your service becomes. I would rather drive all the way to Kandahar at least they smile and respect ones time.really consider why you started this business and do it with more heart.

One of my favorite restaurants in Mississauga however, the only reason why they dont get 5 stars is because they have made a few mistakes before when I ordered and some of their employees were not very nice or have great customer service. Lastly, the food takes very long at times especially during peak hours which is completely understandable. But I love the food. I've never been disappointed with their quality of food and flavor:)

My review is based on my last 3 recent visits I have made.
Terrible service is all I can say, as they are always busy I ordered over the phone not 30 min but 40 min prior arriving to the restaurant, and I arrived to find out my food is not ready! I asked the cashier to add Fries to my order she replies that she cannot because the order will be delayed (make sense), I said fine, after 10 min I went back to her and told her I have already waited 10 min please add the fries, and she still insisted that it cannot be done. A total of 60 min I waited for my food, to arrive home and realize one of the dishes was Cold.
I guess it's like most other places THEY DO NOT CARE they are already busy 1 customer down the drain will not affect them.

Everything is great. The best in the business. Only problem is it's always full and crowded.
It's because everyone loves this place. It is my go to and I crave it every few days.

Recommend calling in your order 15-20 minutes before.
