I just ordered a burger and it wasn’t fresh, more specifically was cold. The place usually gives good food, but sometimes like today, they just do your order poorly, really bad burger. By the way, the fries wasn’t fresh too: (

4/5 for Taste and Price but 5/5 for the Customer Service.been visiting this place for the last few weeks and the customer service is amazing, they way the cashiers (specially the Indian guy) greet the way they talk, make me feel special.this is the only reason I go back to this place almost daily.keep up the good work.

Horrible store with horrible prices. They leave your order to sit for forever and hand it over once it’s cold. My burger buns were fully hard like they used leftovers from yesterday. Do anything but not go here. Chicken over fries for $22 that fills you up less then a lazeez shawarma. Lol and they call it business.there blatantly ripping you off.

First time trying there PIZZA. Tried Hot deal large pizza with wings from here and it was very tasty. Tomato sauce wasn't much in pizza which is good and wings were cooked well. Will definitely check out other items. Masood on the counter is best person.

Great food, it’s not fast (fast food) because it takes longer than normal because it’s fresh but the quality is beyond most places ️

Had the spicy grilled chicken burger. It was 10/10! Actually reminded me of Pakistan. So goood!

Chicken over fries used to be amazing now its overpriced and doesn't taste that good no more.

Pizza is good they just have to work on phone orders lady who is taking the order is rushing you up like she is in marathon half of the time she either gets wrong or missing orders please tell her to slow down and get the correct order …

Price has become way too expensive, my friends said they got 2 pizzas for 20 to 25 dollars, but when I went today to get 2 boxes, they charged me almost 50 bucks. In my opinion this is like a high end robbery.

My family bought a extra large and also a large pizza about a month ago for around 25 bucks.
Today we went again same order they charged us 45 bucks.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THE POZZA ISNT EVEN COOKED PROPER,

The food is perfect. I tried chicken over fries and Philly chicken these two meals are so delicious. I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars because of the waiting time. Now I changed it to 3 stars because of the price is going crazy $$$$$$$

Their food is usually very delicious. But their prices have been skyrocketing in the last 2 years.
I usually used to buy philly steak and chicken on fries for about $25. Now it’s gone up to $40.
They say they adjusted the size. For the same chicken on fries which I used to pay $12 now it’s $20. The increase in price is unreasonable even accounting for inflation and price increase for the raw materials.
Someone’s needs to open a similar shop nearby with reasonable price.

Three times in a short period of time, I received an order that was not mine, and when I called to file a complaint, I was talked to as if I was at fault, in addition to the bad manner and the slander. (Bad place in every sense of the word and disrespectful people) This is their treatment in a nutshell

I ordered X-lg pizza and waited 15 mins, found out that pizza was ready and left ontop of pizza oven, while my family was waiting for them to call us. I then go ahead and open my pizza there was hair on it. I asked them to remake it and the guy named Ali denied saying "the guy making pizza has no hair, there's a girl wearing hijab, and I didn't even touch the pizza". I asked him if he thinks it's mine and he continues to say that he can offer refund but won't remake the pizza.

My family and I was very upset with the customer service and quality of service they provided and I'm sure that I won't be coming back here again.

Good luck to those who want to eat here with someone elses hair in their food.

Very disappointed ordered 3 regular fries, very dry, oily and salty paid each$4: 20 for small quantity, very tiny looked like leftovers. Used to be a good place. Overpriced Avoid.

Nice halal pizza place with burgers and wings. Pizza is always prepared with generous toppings, usually ready within 20 minutes unless there is a rush. No seating space and designed for take out. They have their own delivery as well as uber eats and other delivery services. Best place for ordering in the thorncliffe area hands down.

Please hire a better accountant to manage your cost and ultimately lower your price esp for chicken over rice

On phone 10.99 large pizza pickup.paid 12.42 in person. Chicken wings cost 1.5 times other places like late night pizza or nugget pizza. You guys have volume of customers. Don't get greedy. Won't come again thanks

Hi, I use to visit this restaurant every week but now not even once due to insanely increased food prices. Watan is overly charging the customers now with a excuse of pandemic. We all are suffering in pandemic my friend ur not the only one. Our wages didn't go up by $4 -5 but ur food item prices did (unacceptable). Very disappointing and upsetting. Any wayz thank god there are other restaurants out there who provide similar taste food items for cost affective price. We will happily give our business to them. Hope u guys reduce some price so old customers could return or else good luck with that. Bye

If there was 0 stars I would look for -1 and give it! Staff don't wear mask and rude. Very very very slow like took almost an hour for a single Large pizza.environment inside store is very wired. Some side of the wall CN tower other side makke didn't really undrestood the meaning of a religious picture inside a pizza shop. No hand sanitizer or cleaning surfaces. SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND HEALTH BY NOT VISITING HERE!

We used to order here regularly. We love the food, especially the chicken on rice. However, they recently increased the price of each chicken on rice plate by $5. We were shocked to see the price suddenly go from around $13 a plate to $18. The portion was literally the same as when we paid $13. It's understandable how prices can inflate but by $5 a plate seems too much, especially when you order multiple items. There are other places that charge less and give good value.

We have nothing against the restaurant or anyone. The problem is we really enjoyed the food but it's no longer affordable. Customers should be aware of such a price increase as we found out after the food was prepared and have been hesitant to return due to the price increases.

This place should be shut down permanently, very unhygienic condition of the kitchen and too many insects in the cooking area when I went to grab a bite. They have the best food ever, definitely try chicken gyro, philly steak, pizza and chicken on fries!

Prices for chicken over fries went from 10 to 21$, they claimed they have changed sizes or added more value but nothing was changed! Officially my last visit and order

Ordered from Watan for the first time via Doordash. Ordered a pizza, cheeseburger, fries and wings. Overall, I was pretty happy. The highlight was definitely the pizza, which was supremely delicious. The fries and wings were also seasoned to perfection and both were nice and crispy. Thoroughly enjoyed. My only negative was the cheeseburger, or more specifically, the beef patty, which was just a bit too salty. Overall, very happy to have discovered Watan and will definitely be sampling other menu items in the near future, along with more pizza! Yum!

Made a large order based on their menus they are giving out. Then items were missing and was told it’s due to their new menu not having them included. When asked if they have any “new” menus posted and they said not yet. Not a good way to do business.

Philly cheesesteaks we’re good.
Chicken on fries was just ok.
One pizza we had was good and the other was not that great. So hard to judge consistency.

Also the person taking orders and at the counter needs more training. They are not familiar with the menus and ordering stuff takes a while.

Good food for good prices.
Over time some items like steak on fries have gone less good about overall they still make some great pizza

Food is great staff very friendly. Price over quality 10-10. You cant go wrong with these guys.

Honestly, this place is absolutely awful now. A year or two ago the food was amazing- I used to order the Philly cheesesteak and poutine and it was fantastic. The sandwiches that I get nowadays are terrible, they overload my sandwich with vegetables with little to NO meat. Don't believe me? I removed all the meat and left the sandwich as is. It looks like a fully loaded sandwich as if it had tons of meat in it but those are all onions and peppers. Oh, and the poutine? The poutine is served to me with ice cold gravy and just a sprinkle of cheese on top. The cashiers are often little kids constantly making mistakes on the orders, giving you entirely different items if you don't double check. And when you call back they give you attitude. Seriously, the owner needs to get a hand on the staff in the kitchen but at this point in seems like he doesn't care and is just concerned about money. I've avoided writing a review for a long time now because I genuinely liked the place but I'm sick and tired of hoping for an improvement in quality which is clearly farfetched. Don't go here. The food actually SUCKS.

Very bad customer service, I had a phone order and they said 20 mins after 20 mins while I get there my order was not ready and they asked to pay after I paid I waited more than 30 mins just for a sandwich 50 mins? Come on the employees talk to each other and a very bad attitude.
Never recommend this place.

Pretty lackluster service. Calling and ordering doesn't save you any time. You end up at store thinking its ready and they start making the order then.

Pizzas aren't as good as they used to be. The crust was rock hard even though the pizza wasn't well done. Need to get their act together as their pizzas used to be good.

I would give a triple 0 if I could.

I usually order the steak over fries and I’ve had that at a few places around the GTA honestly this place comes out on top, the quality and the taste of the food is what keeps me and my friends coming back.

Hello guys, I recently brought food from this place spent around $55 its not worth it. Compare to before quantity is very less now and customer service is bad. They increased the price and when you complaint they reply you in a rude manner. Specially in ramadan they must be generous a bit its not like they are giving food for free.
During pandemic most of the guys in kitchen NOT WEARING GLOVES, Mask is on the chin. Touching people’s food that is disgusting. Please improve guys before you closedown or turn away all your good customers.

I received unfair reply from owner just now but I couldn’t find a way to talk to him/her

The Philly cheese steak (beef) is amazing and its a must try, I picked it up 2 times this week.

Surprisingly this restaurant has become my go-to place for fish! Always fresh, tastes amazing and good portions for a decent price. A must try if you’re in the area! Definitely one of the best in the city.

We ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich and a slice of pizza. Pizza was above average, philly cheese steak was pre-made and ready, so it got soggy and not much meat. Stick to the pizza.

Nice restaurant with lots of variety like pizza, wings, burgers, subs and fish, decent service too. The philly cheese steak is pretty good, eating area isn't the best.

Food quality has gone down and prices have gone up, more business shouldn’t mean sacrificing quality of the food.

I called for early pick up, so i went after 20min they gave out my pizza, so i had to wait again and got charged extra on my Uber. Worst experience.

I go for the pizza. Really appreciate the homemade style pizza sauce. The pizza sauce separates it from it's competition. They can work on the customer service a little, but overall, I have enjoyed the food.

Greasy as can be, but only to be expected by a place that serves half the neighborhood some days.

If you want cheap food made quick this is the spot, it's not Quality by any means but if you wanted that you wouldn't be going to a place like this would you?

Low-Key though if you guys maintain your flat top and swap oil a few more times a week you'll make more money, yes I mean silver lol scrub it clean it takes 20 minutes but will add so much to your coffers!

The food is great, the people are semi friendly, there isnt really seating so youre taking your food out to eat. I frequent this place often when im in the area. The customer service could definitely be worked on. I have seen people waiting long periods of time and not getting their food handed to them until they approach the counter and ask about it (the food was prepared and could be seen just sitting there in a bag but nobody handed it to the customer for some time). There is a large variety of food to choose from the menu from pizza to sandwiches to shawarmas. The problem is that sometimes the restaurant only makes one or two dishes I guess because some of the other ingredients have been put away or out of stock.

Watan Pizza holds in down in the east side, pizza is my main squeeze but I also munch their cheese fries, these guys know how to really make a mean pie. Don Mills & Overlea, just east of the Leaside.

We just spent 17$ dollars WOW! On the best halal PIZZA /10 Amazing LG wings/2 drinks and GARLIC BREAD and it was all SOooo. Delicious!

I always enjoy the food here. Their philly sandwiches are top quality. Wait times can be long sometimes but it's worth the wait. You could also give them a call in advance to prepare your order for you.

This is a little jem hidden in a hole in the wall in Thornchiffe Park area. It doesn't look like much from out side, but the food it makes up for that in a big way. I have had two things from here. The first one was a Philly cheese steak. And that was great. The steak was the best part. Taste was great and for something fried non-oily! Second item I had was a pizza. It was good. Not super, but good. I will definitely try it again.

Besides some minor issues with the location and state of the property; the variety and quality of the food is very good.

Still under process of becoming one of the best places to eat fast.
What else can I say, it's up to the people that work there to making it become a hit or miss.
