Hello Sean,

First off, you should read your own "consignment agreement" paper which contains nothing but a line for the customer name, model name and Reference# of the watch, date dropped off and signature box.

The fact that I need to keep my cool and diffuse the situation while you and your sales rep cannot spare 5 minutes to try and reach a resolution without getting confrontational in such a relationship-based industry speaks for itself.

If a customer leaves their watch with you for consignment, they expect you to leverage your existing customer relationships, dealer connections and knowledge of the watch market to move the watch faster than they can do so themselves.

If I leave a watch with you and in turn all you do is post it on your website at a ridiculously high, joke of a price that's 20%+ over market compared to similar watches on Chrono24, it shows me that you have no idea what the market on the watch is or have no intention of moving the watch without netting a huge profit for yourself that's well above any standard dealer consignment rate in the industry - either ways you are wasting my time.

It's not unreasonable for me to ask you, in this case, to lower your advertised price to something more realistic where there's margin for you - and the watch is still priced to sell. If you cannot take this feedback without construing it as an insult - you my friend have a very fragile ego.

I've dealt with various dealers in the past and would not recommend these guys. If you're looking for a local Toronto dealer, Distinctive Time Toronto - Gerald specifically has been a great guy and pleasure overall dealing with.

Went here for a watch resize, helped me even though my watch wasn’t originally bought here. Good experience overall.

Prompt & quick service with regards to quote, purchase & shipment on my Tag and Omega buys - thank you. Went in to get the strap changed for my moonswatch. It took them 2 min and they didnt charge a cent! I had a wonderful conversation with all the guys. They complimented my watch and I could tell they were super passionate about watches in general.

Recently, two of my watch band pins fell out of the one end of my stainless steel Zuccha bracelet on my vintage ladie's Fendi watch but I only found one of the pins. I took my watch to three different watch repair stores (including a Fendi store) with the expectation that they would be able to replace the missing pin but the staff at each store told me that they would be unable to repair my watch.

Then I happened to walk by the Watchfinder store in Yorkville and decided to ask them if they would be able to repair it. Without hesitation, the salesperson "Joe" took my watch to show it to his store's tech. To my surprise when he returned, my watch had been repaired. I was so pleased with the friendly and efficient service. This will definitely be my go-to watch store in the future for purchases because I see they have a large selection of very attractive watches for sale.

Stellar service. I dealt with Joe. I am a very cautious buyer and took many precautions before purchasing my latest time piece. Joe took the time with me to make me feel extremely comfortable throughout the process. He's very knowledgeable, and really knows how to treat people. Friendly, accommodative. I have purchased two watches from them and sold two watches to them previously. Straightforward and easy both times.

Great service. Was looking for a rare Blancpain. After only two weeks of requesting this watch, Sean at Watchfinder was able to locate the watch at a fantastic price. The transaction was hassle free- they even included a free polish at anytime in the future. Highly recommended.

After negotiating a fair price was told that the watch in question was sold, they also wanted me to do a bank transfer and refused visa so since a bank transfer has a limit that would be two transactions and they would not hold the watch for me, then they tried to up sell me another watch at double the price. Chrono24 at least uses escrow so that there is no issues. Would not recommend Watchfinder.

Prices on new watches are a little inflated, do your research before buying and negotiate, I have tried this and Watchfinder did offer to sell me the watch I was interested in at the same price of other stores, but the only caveat was that the model in question was a year older, but at least they seem to try and deal.

Bought a Tag Heuer Carrera from these fine gentlemen, good price and well above average service. Would 100% recommend doing business with them, amazing staff.

Tried to sell my Rolex watch this location but the staff who estimated my watch is either dishonest or unprofessional. I showed them my Rolex and they told me the year of my watch is 2002 and gave me a very disappointing price. I didnt sell it and went to Rolex Canada for authentication it turned out the watch is 2008 model. Staffs there are arrogant and never trust them if they said they will call you back or email you.
RE: I finally got a call from Watchfinder after I posted this review this morning. A woman claimed the owner insisted on the phone that the Rolex i was trying to sell to them is 2002 model, but staff in Rolex store told me it is a 2008 model. A simple indication is that the Rolex Day-Date 118238 has engraving typeface inside the it. Educate me if i am wrong.

Simply the best watch store in the city. If you're a watch aficionado, you will find yourself here. They have a great selection of old hard to find beauties, the staff is very knowledgeable and well connected in the watch industry. They have consistently provided me with great advice and went out of their way to service my watches. I'm a repeat customer and am thrilled to keep coming back.

I never write reviews, but this store's staff and service is bar none. No pretentiousness, super knowledgable and obviously passionate watch enthusiasts/geeks as well. I brought in my grandfather's vintage 60's Omega and they offered to help take it apart, identify it and give me some more info about the watch on the spot for free. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
