Great service. Clean environment. Friendly + helpful staff. The alkaline water has a pH of 10. What more could you ask for?

I have to say the old guy in the suit and tie from the 70s has zero people skills, terrible attitude. He definitely should not be in customer service. He may even be the owner who knows but terrible experience. He has a terrible attitude and doesn’t carry himself well. I went to water bar in Brantford following my visit there and the customer service was great.

Great service! Water prices excellent! Had my softener and purifier which I bought from there installed years ago and still works great!

I'm pretty sure that it was the owner we dealt with when going to Water Depot for the first time. He was EXTREMELY proud of his establishment and the water he supplies. He couldn't do enough for us, explaining the process of his establishment and insisted on giving us 2 free bottles of water to try without expecting us to prepay for any commitment to prepaid bottles.which we did anyway. Their water is AMAZING. We've gone through all 6 of the bottles we bought in less than a month and are going back for more tomorrow. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone! 10 stars if there was that option.

Normally when I have a bad experience I chalk it up to being a one time occurrence but never at any other establishment have a been treated as poorly as I have at The Water Depot in Brantford.
Originally, I thought the staff were very pleasant and I continued to fill my bottles at this location. I fill 3 18L water bottle approximately every 3 weeks. I am not sure what the pricing was as it is not posted prominently anywhere in this building. One day there was a sign for a number of refills for a better price. To save my money I signed up for an account for this set number of bottle refills. If I had known how I would be treated on this occasion I never would have committed this much money to this business as I had to continue to return as not to waste my money as I had 18 refills left.
Every time I take my three bottles into The Water Depot, I would fill two of my bottles with the reverse osmosis water, and one of my bottles with the alkaline water. As I stated previously, the prices are not prominently posted at this location, so I was not aware of the approximately $2 more the alkaline water refills were. Very nicely when we were in every month, Rob would inform us that we were filling one of our bottles with alkaline, and told us he wanted us to know that it occasionally makes some people's stomachs upset. Never did he mention the price difference. I am a very, very honest person. I work hard for my money, and have worked for small companies in the past. I know the value of a dollar and I would never, NEVER try to rip a company or anybody off.
On this occasion, the store was busier than normal. I told Rob my name, he checked off three refills from my account. I waited in line with my partner to fill our bottles. As usual we filled two with reverse osmosis and one with alkaline water. For whatever reason, Rob chose this occasion to inform us that the alkaline water cost more. After calling us out in front of their entire customer base, he stated he would be taking another refill off of my account.okay.not being quite sure what was going on or why we were being treated like thieves on this occasion, we filled our bottles and left. I am not one to like to cause a scene, especially over something as trivial as water. I called the store to try to get to the bottom of the situation. Luckily, it was Rob who answered the phone. I asked him what the price difference was between the alkaline refill and the reverse osmosis water, I was informed it was approximately $2. I then reminded him that I have been returning to his location for just over a year, having refilled our bottles every month since we got a water dispenser. I reminded him that every single time I am there he informs us that the alkaline water may upset our stomachs, but never has he mentioned the price difference. Why today? Rob's response was that the woman behind me was refilling on alkaline water and how could he let her pay more and not me?
I ask you.
How was the customer behind me to know what I payed as all I stated was "three refills for N***"?
Was there no better way to approach the subject than to make a scene in front of a store full of customers?
Was losing a RELIABLE customer worth $2?
If you have made it this far into my review, save your money and go to the Culligan down the road.
If you are informed or care about Covid-19 at all, save your time and go to the Culligan down the road. As a health care worker I am disgusted to see the other man at this location rarely has a mask on, and today when I visited a customer came in without a mask on as well. I understand you can't discriminate against medical conditions.but as a health care worker in a hospital I'd like to mention all of my patients have been able to wear their mask so far during the pandemic and some of them have very severe respiratory illnesses.
Last of all the young girl that works there has been nothing but kind to us, and is always wearing her mask. Maybe she should save her time and work at the Culligan down the road. I wish her the best.

The Brantford Water Depot is well run, the staff is efficient and very helpful.
The workers there are glad to help with carrying purchases.

This store has a issue with testing their water. Have been in business for sometime and claim to be knowledgeable but unfortunately cannot keep current with water testing. Is RO water good for you? What tests are run and validated on the water? How is water tested? Blind faith people, beware of what you consume, know your facts and validate the source.

Really really great drinking and really really great tasting water with great purchasing plans per 18litres jugs or just about any size jugs you may have or prefer and yes they sell water coolers and dispensers they have soda stream machines and bottled water which may seem pricey but for every 24case of bottled water you purchase you get a free fill up on a 18litre jug once you try their water you may not go any where else nuff said.

Bought a water cooler from them today and was very impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff were. The prices are reasonable, and the water is the best I have ever tasted! Keep up the good work guys!
