My husband and I got married in September and we each had very little to no experience with dancing. We heard wonderful reviews about Waterloo Dance and decided to reach out to them in hopes to learn some basic dance steps for our first dance on our Wedding Day. What we didn’t expect is that we’d end up having a timed dance routine that perfectly complimented our song and included spins, dips and leans lol! The owner, Alexandra was such a pleasure to work with and was always quick to respond when we wanted to book our next lesson. Shivali was our dance teacher and she is amazing! She is so patient and kind and we really loved her teaching style. She made the dance lessons so much fun and we are so thankful for the routine she helped us to put together. She also took videos during our lessons so that we could practice the steps at home! Our dance routine went so well on our Wedding Day and we love that we have this unique routine that we share together. We would highly recommend Waterloo Dance to anyone, especially beginners!

The dance classes are great! I neglected to learn to dance and my instructors are making it happen. They will help you improve. Don't miss out!

I have always wanted to learn to dance and I have been so lucky to find championship winning professional teachers near me. At Waterloo Dance I have access to group classes where I can improve my lead and follow skills in a friendly and welcoming studio. My private lessons with Vlad are a time to work on perfecting my ballroom dancing technique.
I am able to work on all smooth and latin dance styles including tango, salsa and jive. We in Kitchener Waterloo are fortunate to have such skilled teachers who are happy to work with adults of all dance skill levels from beginners to competition level performers as well as kids. Couples are able to practise together at the regular school dance parties and take their moves to the club. Whether you want to be the best social dancer you can be or you want to hit the competition floor and show off your hard work, Alex and Vlad will get you there.

Expected private lessons, not with othet people in training. Too much diversity of various types of music.

Phenomenal instructors and vibe for people who are looking to expand their dance skills in a open, relaxed but also technically sound environment - suitble for all ranges of expertise. Such a welcoming studio! I look forward to attending classes each week and the ownders are a true delight. Well worth it!:) 10/10 reccomend.

My Fiancé and I’s experience has been fantastic so far. The studio is laid back, yet professional. They always give you the best path to success, but let you choose your own way.
Not only are the instructors fantastic dancers, they also are great communicators and encouragers to ensure your moral stays high through ups and downs of learning something new. I recommend Waterloo Dance to you!
