I am extremely disappointed in the service particularly provided by the Service Department at this Dealership. I was also dealing with John as many others that have written complaints about how they were treated and handled by the organization. After numerous attempts to reach out to them to discuss the matter they are now refusing to return my calls and furthermore I was advised by Honda Canada that they cannot assist any further as the dealership is independently owned and managed. Don't waste your time and money to come here as you will only have regrets and frustrations. I don't tend to write reviews like this for anyone but I can't believe how insensitive they are to their clients and customers.

Used to be a great shop but they’ve lost my trust and business in the last couple years. Cambridge Honda is well worth the drive to not deal here.

On the sales side, Jorge was dismissive and condescending when I came in basically ready to purchase a new Honda back in 2020… He made a remark about me supposedly wasting his time and not being able to afford a car. This was early in the conversation before he knew my income or credit, obviously a snap judgement about a young looking guy.

I decided to give the shop another try when looking for my latest car and was given an outrageous quote, including a higher price for a cash purchase versus financing. Very slippery.

On the service side, the service advisor recommended a service for my old CR-V based on a part that it doesn’t even have—he suggested a CVT service for my 2012 model that has a 5 speed auto, not a CVT. I heard him suggest the exact same service to the customer ahead of me.

Had to take my 19 Honda Sport Hatchback in for regular service, and to have an inspection as I felt my previous service center wasn't doing me any justice. Turns out I was right, as I had some items that were overdue and needed to be done. While I had a bit of a bill, overall I felt the prices were fair (based on research) and the way I was treated was great. The waiting area was clean, spacious and had multiple amenities. Staff were professional and friendly. Appreciate Bruce in Service for his clear communication and great transparency. Had pictures to clearly show me the items on my vehicle that needed attention. Also enjoyed the chat outside before bringing the car in.

I had a wonderful experience at Waterloo Honda. The place is spacious and they had a lot of vehicles to choose from.
Damir Protudjer helped me from the moment I walked in till I left the lot. He made the whole transaction go smoothly. I felt supported and heard. I have nothing but praises. It’s been couple of days since I got my vehicle so I hope this excellent customer service continues on for years to come

The team at Waterloo Honda are amazing! My salesman Jorge made the process very easy by going out of his way to make time for me since I live out of town. Eric in finance was also great in setting up my banking and getting me the best rate. When I picked up the car, Kourtney went through all of the paperwork with me and answered all my questions. I would very much recommend this dealership!

I write this not just for Waterloo Honda, but all of the Honda dealerships we have dealt with. There is a new game in town. It's called post cars you don't have, to get people to come in. Then tell the customer 'those cars are sold' just to try to upsell you a 2023 pre order. This is for 4 dealerships so far. I also think. They are holding back returned lease vehicles, to keep the price up. SO YOU HAVE NO CHOICE TO TAKE THE PRICE THEY OFFER BECAUSE THERE ARE NO COMPARABLES. And they tell you there is no haggle right away. It's a shadey new practice.

So I just purchased a new Honda CRV in February of 2022. At the time of purchase I was told it would be delivered in no more when 12 weeks. 12 weeks would be the latest date I would receive the vehicle. Two weeks shy of 6 months is when I receive the vehicle. I had asked for standard plates with the blue jays logo on it. I was told I would have to go get them myself. After emailing the sales manager we got it sorted out and they were able to get them for me.i had asked for a front bug deflector and a rear visor to be installed on pick up. One hour before I'm to pick up the car I get a call saying there was a miss communication between the sales man and sales manager and it was never installed. Not happy at this point I went to pic up my vehicle. The sales man had said he would have a few
honda hats and honda water bottles for me my wife and my kid's that never happened as well.disappointed in the service we left i would definitely by another honda but not from waterloo honda also I had asked blind spot mirrors to be installed that never happened as well. Purchasing a new Honda should be exciting not disappotment after disappotment. Young inexperienced sales staff is the problem in my opinion. I got 1 free oil change for all the trouble wow. After speaking to a manager I was left more disappointed. All he could offer me was a free oil change and 10% off the accessories I had wanted. Maybe we'll get the hats and water bottles that were promised but I'm not going to hold my breath. Time should not have been an issue. Had 6 months to get my accessories thay Knew 2 weeks before the vehicle was to arrive parts could have been ordered at that time. The plate issue would not have been a issue if someone just looked at the service ontario website.

This has got to be the worst car dealership in Canada. If only I can give 0 stars I would. We ordered a 2022 Honda civic back 4 months ago. Everything was going smoothly till NICK TILK randomly calls up and cancels the order for no reason a month ago? DAVE HOWES confirms with us its fine its not been cancelled. So thats the first shady part.
Just last week DAVE calls telling him his order has now been cancelled. Why? No explanation.
I myself Call pretending to be a customer and he literally told me yes you could have had a car by now if you ordered 4 months ago.
CAMBRIDGE HONDA told him that they have never heard of an order being cancelled with a date and now theyre telling him his order is not in the system.
Absolutely the WORST EXPERIENCE we have ever encountered. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR CANCELLED FOR NO REASON

I ordered a 2022 Honda Civic 6 months a ago and I was told I would receive the vehicle in 1-3 months. Now, they're telling me my order has been cancelled, even though my vehicle had a build date. This dealership has been nothing but shady and unprofessional.

I recently got into contact with a former Waterloo Honda salesman who informed me of this dealership's shady business practices. My suspicions were confirmed. The vehicle I ordered most likely was sold to another, higher paying customer.

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE! Waterloo Honda is legitimately a crooked dealership and needs to be investigated. A report to OMVIC (Ontario Motor Industry Council) will be made.

I've never dealt with such deception, unprofessionalism and shadiness in my life. Waterloo Honda runs off gimmicks and tricks, anything that will earn them an extra dollar. Be aware of their sweet talking in the beginning of the sale. Nothing but lies are spewed from their mouths. I ordered my vehicle 5 months ago and my order had a build date. Between salesmen and sales managers, they continually flip flopped between whether my order was cancelled or not. I contacted Honda Canada in which they told me vehicles with build dates aren't cancelled. So the dealership themselves cancelled my order and passed it off as a manufacturer's issue. DO NOT purchase a vehicle from Waterloo Honda and make the same mistake I did. 5 months wasted and still no car. Honda makes great cars, but unfortunately Waterloo Honda is smearing their name. Take your business elsewhere!

Worst dealership they just trick out people never hold any car by doing a $.
They told to me hold a civic 2019 by deposit $1000 and we will show this car to you on priority bases and then they got my signature and after that i told them I don’t like this car need my money back they said no we can’t do that worst dealership and they trick me out because it was my first car then I decide to purchase brand new civic they said now we can adjust your money and after all costs total was $39000 for a civic sports which was higher than other dealerships even my credit score was excellent they gave me gap insurance for $3400
Next day i said I don’t want gap insurance then they said it’s already activated. They play with poor people that’s how they’re earning.

Our sales guy was Konal Divan, we were facing problems of not getting a loan and had a hard time selecting a vehicle. Konal consulted us on the right vehicle choice, made us comfortable and showed us the features of the car. We ended up getting a loan from Honda waterloo at a very good interest rate and bought a Honda Accord. I highly recommend Konal to all the people looking for a new car. He even stayed late for us and booked us a test drive. Super happy with his customer service. Can’t thank him enough.

I’ve been going here since 1991. Have purchased multiple Honda vehicles from here and always got a great deal along with a nice new car experience. Have serviced all of my cars here continuously over all these years because the staff are friendly and honest. The quality of work and the care that’s taken not to damage your car has always been appreciated. It’s so hard to find a good dealership that you can trust nowadays, but Waterloo Honda is one of those and I highly recommend them for both sales and service.

After-sales service is terrible. They barely answer my texts even though my enquiries are all about buying more accessories from them. They promised me a raffle ticket at the time of car deposit but totally forgot about it until they approach me for a Honda survey. They only care about you for a reason. They haven't replied back to me since then.

Last Monday I took my Honda civic into the service department to get it looked at. I recently damaged my passenger side mirror camera housing. I Explained to the service manager that the mirror does not need to be replaced. It only needed the plastic housing. All the aspects of the camera were still functioning and still in tact i literally just needed the plastic part which costed me $75 at Kitchener Honda. The service manager kept insisting the mirror had to be fully replaced and would cost me $1300 without even inspecting it. They are taking advantage of people and it is not okay. I bought the part and got it replaced for $250 all in. Save your pockets and take your business elsewhere they are crooks and will rip you off.if I could go lower than one star I would. I will never be back at waterloo Honda again.

All around incredible experience! Special thanks to Jorge Sandoval for over the top amazing customer service at all fronts. The staff at Waterloo Honda went out of their way from the very first call to make sure that I could get the best service possible. I was after a Honda civic which was nearly impossible in todays market because they were all selling before i could even make it in to dealerships. Jorge took the time to make sure the car was on the lot and checked it over personally to reassure me that it was worth putting a deposit down. In the hour and a half it took for me to get to the dealership after the deposit was down it would have already been sold if he hadn't taken the time to check and give me the confidence that a deposit and long drive was worth taking. The staff is very thorough in explaining all facts about the vehicle from condition to previous owner history. They will go over the top to explain all warranty options (thank you Kourtney!) and guarantee that you walk out the door with a smile on your face. I really cannot express enough gratitude to the staff for how wonderful of an experience I had with them and strongly recommend taking your business to waterloo Honda. I live in belleville which is 3+ hours from the location and would make the drive again without hesitation for their business and customer service. Thank you Jorge! I loved my drive home and really could not be happier with my experience at Waterloo Honda!

I can’t put all my frustration towards the dealership in words.

They are not really price competitive but seem/claim to be.
When you buy a vehicle from there, they give you the experience of buying vegetables at a farmer’s market.
They don’t treat you well if you are an immigrant (concluded after discussing with local friends and acquaintances).

Most of car dealerships are like this, but some places you don’t realize that you are being pushed in to spending extra money with warranties. Here at Waterloo Honda, you can feel the push.

Let’s not discuss after sales service, which is worse. No additional perks of buying from here, rather go elsewhere they try to be gracious about your purchase even if they made you spend a lot.

Randomly walked in today to check out the pre-owned car lot. Was greeted by Joey Holmes (Sales Representative). I came from another dealership that withheld accident information and wasn't sure what I would find at Waterloo Honda. Joey was extremely welcoming and helpful, any questions that I had and he wasn't sure of the answers, he was quick to confirm with senior staff. I wasn't aware that the dealership closed at 5pm today and was very pleased that he was willing to stay and answer all of my questions. The vehicle in question had just been traded that day and wasn't fully processed yet, however the staff were able to quickly get me the information I needed in order to make my decision. I am very happy to say that I purchased the vehicle with the assistance of Joey Holmes and Kurt Ramsubhag (Business Manager).

Gentlemen, thank you for your patience and assistance today, I couldn't be happier and prouder to say I've purchased from Waterloo Honda!

I brought my 2009 Accord in last week for service. I'm not positive his name is Jason but I'm pretty sure he was the guy who helped me out. I must say he was excellent and his service was perfect from start to finish. My bill was hefty for me but when I average it out over how long i have owned the car $500. /year is not bad at all! The car now has 139,000 km and other than regular tune ups and oil change stuff I have needed little to no service for it. The guys in service are just great and I want to thank them all. So pleasant and go out of their way to make certain all is well. I would recommend this dealership 100% and that is high praise coming from me!

I would give no stars if I could.

My Husband and I bought our first Honda Civic from the Waterloo location and love all the sales staff, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We always took in our car for the regular check up when the car indicated we needed to. Each time we went in we trusted that the Service Tech had our best interest at heart and would only recommend repairs where needed.

I guess that is just my ignorance trusting them that they had our best intentions.

The most recent appointment we went to the Service Tech advised us that we needed all new breaks costing well over $500.00. We kindly declined as my dad is a mechanic himself and would be able to change them out for us.

When he went to change out the breaks he was confused as to why Honda would say we needed new breaks as the ones we had on had a lot of life left in it.

Honda bold faced lied to my husband just to make more money.

I am truly disgusted at their ethics and their lack of respect for their hard working customers to just steal from them.

Called about getting my airbag fixed and received truly awful service from Denise. She was surely, rude and made absolutely no effort to try and address my concerns or even answer my questions. When I asked to speak to someone else who might know the answers to my questions she continued to be unhelpful and I had to ask multiple times before she finally gave me the number of someone else to contact. I called both the Kitchener and Cambridge dealerships after and received great service. I would strongly recommend going the extra distance to avoid this experience.

We have a Honda Odyssey 2011, We took the car in for swapping the summer tires with winter tires (winter & summer tires have their own rims.) and replace the back window wiper blade. (cost = $130.52). They ended up installing the wiper arm the wrong way so it wouldn't work and only within a few days, when we are driving the car from our home to the school, suddenly the front driver side tire completely comes off the rim. If we were driving on the highway, this would have caused a serious accident.as soon as the CAA technician looked at it, he told us that either Honda service forgot to put air in the tire or they didn't seal it properly. We took the car back to the dealership, they found no hole in the tire that came off the rim, they took zero responsibility or accountability for it and give us the BS of oh many things could have happened, oh you probably drove over something (Basically they are innocent and it is our fault) and obviously tire is damaged and we had to pay $564 to replace both front tires with brand new tires.after the initial tire swap, we had to waste so much of our time to go back to Honda service 3 times to get these issues fixed. I always thought going to the dealership and paying the premium price protects us from this kind of treatment and dishonesty but now I see how wrong I was.

I purchased my first Honda from Ming Ge at the Waterloo Honda dealership. He was very friendly, helpful and honest through the whole process. He gave us a full demo of all features in all the vehicles we were interested in, and then gave use our time with the vehicles for the test drive. Other sales people in the different dealerships we went to in Waterloo while searching for a car, would either leave us alone with very little information, or be overbearing.

Ming was also extremely quick to respond to any queries we had before, during as well as after the purchase.

Definitely would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new Honda.

If I could give a negative star I would. Heard so much about them and bought our car there 2016 Honda Civic brand new lease, we checked if it was a recall vehicle within a week but they said it was not.within 3 weeks smoke started coming out of the hood.we took it in and they said it would take a month to fix bc they have to order the part. 1 month turned to 3 months.we moved to Mississauga after that.

In 2018 it gave us problems again, the AC condenser had issues but bc I was slightly over the 60KM covered under warrenty they said they won't cover the $1,100. Fine we made an appt which we had to do for a month in advance. When we came from mississauga for our appt, they said the part they received was damaged and that 'they were sorry'. We were not told of this, otherwise why would why make that drive from Mississauga to Waterloo? They took no responsibilty or gave us any customer discount in any way.

IT HAS BEEN AN AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE! TRULY DISAPPOINTED! Would never recommend to even my enemies!

Upon interacting with the sales team, it will be obvious to you that they are trying to get your money and attain a sale. In other words, their interest is in their business, not the customer's wellbeing. Moreover, the Honda 2017 Hatchback that I purchased from the Waterloo location had its brake rotors and brake pads rust over and wear down completely in just a year. My mechanic insisted that I shouldn't be on the road when my car is in such bad condition. So I went to Honda's service center. There, I was told that Honda probably would not replace the brake rotors unless it was impeding the performance of the car. At 9am I dropped my car off for its service appointment and was told that I could pick it up at the end of the day. By 4: 30pm, I still hadn't received an update on my vehicle. I call the service center and nobody answers. By 5: 30pm I call again and still no answer. By 6pm, an hour before Honda closes, I realize something must be wrong. I get a ride to Honda only to find that they misplaced my file, my car hadn't been looked at all day and it took them well over 15 minutes to find a loner car for me, which they ended up not having. It is infuriating to have my car taken for the day and then to be left with no means of personal transportation the next day without so much as a heads up. The next day I receive a phone call and they tell me they will indeed replace my rusted brake rotors and brake pads because they are in bad condition, BUT they have no idea when the replacement parts will arrive. It has now been a month since my service appointment and still no update on when I can expect the replacement parts to arrive. After spending over $30,000 on a car, I expect way better service than this. Terrible business. I'll definitely never buy Honda again and I'm looking forward to getting rid of mine asap.

Recently have an experience with the service department here due to the recall from Honda. First of all the lady who called us to pick our car, I guess no one trained her about customer service, she is rude and unfriendly when she called us to pick up the car. Doesn’t provide any information on the shuttle bus service, normally from other Honda service people will ask if we need the shuttle service or not. Also when we pick our car the airbag light keeps on but no one can explain why to me so we have to drive up on the other day to get this fixed. Shouldn’t they inspect the car after the repair and make sure everything is okay? Not a happy expensive overall.

They didnt use protective paper Matt on my car when changing the engine oil nor on the seat

Would you like your car seat and floor Matt to be used by the same guy who’s changing engines oil?

I asked the customer representative before hand because I saw the mechanic not using those protectors so when I asked the customer representative that don’t you guys use the protectors and he just casually replied like it was nothing without even looking at me that they must have forgotten and he ignored it like it was nothing

My dielema is the Kitchener branch is only appointment only for even oil change and this Waterloo branch did not worked the way one expect from Honda dealer

I own both Honda and Toyota and at Toyota heffner they always use those floor Matt and drivers seat protectors before oil change I give them 5 star for excellent service

I love my Honda but I might not buy again any Honda just because of the poor service Honda dealers providing

Well Im updating my rating to more positive because Rob from Honda Waterloo responded my concern fast and that’s what I call good customer service

We had a great experience at Waterloo Honda. Jorge was amazing and really helped narrow down on a car that suited our budget and needs. The day we picked up our Civic, he took me through everything about the car and answered my 1000s of questions with patience and humour. He explained everything in detail, how to use the features of the car and the incentives of certain functions. Would definitely seek him out if we ever need to upgrade our other car. Thanks Jorge for all your patience with us and the kids!

Just bought a 2018 Odyssey and dealt with Jorge Sandoval at Waterloo Honda. The vehicle is fantastic for a minivan, and Jorge is an outstanding individual.
