Super disappointed in the customer service provided by Service Advisor, Paul Bertin. I was happy with my car/ service for almost 5 years until dealing with him. Once on June 28th and again today. Made me feel like the issue was my fault and I was inconvenienceing him.
Once the problem was resolved, he simply walked away from me. No apologies, no sorry for the inconvenience, no have a have a nice day! Nothing!
It's truly unfortunate one person can ruin a client/customer relationship of 5 Years.

Update: Original 1 star, changed to 5. Sheila the service manager reached out to me this morning to address the contents of my review below, she took the time to listen to me and really empathized with my situation and the events that happened, she also apologized sincerely for what happened. Sheila did everything to make it right, she even arranged for someone to pick up my car so I didn’t have to leave work, the techs whom she sent were incredibly friendly and gathered all the information that they needed to diagnose the issues with my car. Way to go Sheila and service team! I will definitely be back and this has restored my faith in Nissan.

Service Centre:

I made an appointment last Saturday to have a couple of issues with my car diagnosed (check engine light & a noise). The appointment was made for today (May 26,2023) at 1: 00PM. I arrived at 9: 00AM due to that being the only time I could get a ride to work, and asked if it was okay if I checked in early and if it was okay to leave my car with them, the gentleman at the service desk agreed and took my information and my keys. I know that they are busy, so I was not expecting my car to be looked at until at least the time of my scheduled appointment.

The gentleman at the service desk advised me that they would look at the car today and call me when they had done their diagnostics or if they needed to keep my car for longer to run more tests. I was fine with this as long as the car was looked at and there was some form of communication in regards to whether or not they needed more time or if there was a fix that could be implemented.

By 5: 15PM (they close at 6: 00PM) I had not received a call, so I called the service department, waited on hold and asked if there was any updates regarding my car, I was told:

“No we didn’t have a chance to pull it in, it was a crazy day”

And

“We’ll try to get it in tomorrow”

Mind you, I explained that I need this vehicle to get to and from work as well as other obligations and I was told:

“We’ll try to get it in tomorrow and if not we’ll let you know Monday”

Obviously this experience was immensely frustrating, I need this vehicle and trusted that what I was told by the staff would be true. I can understand having a busy day and that they are trying their best, but there was NO communication at any point throughout the day other than the initial intake, and then to be shrugged off without a second thought is ridiculous.

I made an appointment, confirmed the appointment, and was on time (in fact early) for the appointment and Waterloo Nissan did not deliver.

Never go to Nissan Waterloo for buying a car. This is the reason:
About two weeks ago, I wanted to buy a new Nissan Rogue from Nissan Waterloo. I went there and signed a contract for leasing a car with (Ed Salah) who is a salesperson and he asked me to pay 1000 $CAD, which is a refundable value. Then he told me to talk to (Maheema), another seal person there, for other options. I asked her to give me a print of something I signed, and she gave me a bunch of papers. I trusted her and came back home; then I saw she gave me only a Vehicle Price Ordering Guide. Then I decided to change me contract and finance that car. I talked to Ed, and he agreed to cancel the lease contract and provided a finance contract, and I signed the new finance contract. However, he did not give me the previous lease contract, and they only gave me the first page of the new finance contract. Here they also added extra costs such as Nissan Security Protection Package and Wheel locks and then they told us these are mandatory. My wife wanted to use her credit for this application. She is a Ph. D.student here. After preparing all documents to finance the car, they told me that they can not sell a car to a student with the amount we have on the finance contract and that they can do it only with higher rates. I told them, I can not pay higher rates. Then I asked them to refund my $1000. In response, they told me you can only lease the car, or we do not refund $1000. I did not accept and asked them (by email) to provide evidence that the value is not refundable. I send this email to (Ed Salah). Now I received a letter from (Shivan Beharry) from Nissan Waterloo. In this letter, they asked us to give more than 5000 $CAD for Freight, air conditioning tax, etc.and also 100 $CAD per day after June 1st for daily storage costs. All for a contract that I asked them to cancel it. They said these are mentioned on the second page of the contract which I have never seen. They did not even give me a full contract to read. They tricked us to sign the first page. This is a “Misrepresentation”, and I will complain to OMVIC about it.

Avoid sales. Tried to provide a limited time "deal" over the phone and sell TPMS sensors for the tires after the fact and changed the price with a new cheaper offer after I declined the first time. Still declined. Tires already had TPMS.

Had a great experience at Waterloo Nissan recently. We were initially only looking at options to upgrade to a family friendly SUV and had no plans to purchase right away. Dealing with Enam, he completely won us over and we bought our Nissan Murano during that appointment. Enam was very knowledgeable and so personable, he was such a pleasure to deal with.
A shout out to Maheema as well who efficiently handled our financing for the vehicle. We picked up our new SUV a few days later - superb service. Would definitely recommend this particular location as every person we spoke with made us feel confident in our purchase.

After a long gruelling process of deciding whether to purchase new or used; test driving all makes and models and working with many people we finally found and met with Enam. He was our saving grace, a true breath of fresh air from the very beginning. He was so helpful and understanding. He helped us look into our options and was patient while we decided what worked best for us. He was not only a delight to work with he sold us a 2023 Nissan Kicks SR that we absolutely love. It’s a good size crossover; looks cool, radio system is awesome and has great fuel mileage. With todays demand on new a well, Enam and his team were honest and true of the expected arrival date. My wife and I have owned a number of Nissan's. Recently I was looking to upgrade from my Nissan Altima sr coupe, so I figured I would visit Waterloo Nissan first, the sales rep tried convincing me that "even without any problems/ good repair I could only get $500 on the high end".
I sold it a week later for substantially over $10,000.
I had 2 other dealerships offering $12k and $13,500.
Additionally I would recommend almost any other place for service or detailing.
I recommend you reconsider when dealing with this dealership.

Very very poor warranty claims.they will charge you.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy vehicles from this dealership.made a mistake purchased 2 new vehicles and facing a lot of issues with after sales services.

WARNING; POOR AFTER SERVICE.
Managers are sitting in their offices and if you have any questions they will just ask for your phone number and never call you back.

Waterloo Nissan after sales services are zero.

Unknowledgeable about their own vehicles. Found information online myself to prove them wrong after being called a liar when asking for a part. (Accused that certain part was not Nissan on my car when in fact it was.and purchased at same dealership 2 years prior. Part is now discontinued)
Will not purchase a car or have it serviced here in the near future.

I went to Waterloo Nissan to buy my first car. It did not turn out well. Basically, they were selling me a car with a faulty transmission and covering it up as "a sound from the timing belt".
Prior to buying the car, Nissan had agreed on fixing the sound that was coming from the acceleration. When I went to go pick it up, the sound was still present. When I addressed it, they offered me the warranty. I said no. Again, they offered the warranty, but for $1000 less than the original price. I still said no. I told them that I was not taking the car until the sound is fixed, which was what was agreed on prior to buying.
After several ignored phone calls and texts, I finally hear back from the sales manager telling me that they are waiting for a car part, which would take a couple of days to arrive. More delay. Couple days later, the sales manager calls me again and states that they got the part a while back but did was not successful because they "found out" that the whole transmission needed to be replace.
You're telling me that these car salesmen and manager do not know what is actually wrong with a car? How did this even pass the safety if there was a fault transmission?
Thankfully I got all my money back since I did not take the car off the parking lot. I highly do not recommend Waterloo Nissan due to their dishonest, misleading and shady business. 0/10

I went in knowing what car I wanted, Nissan Murano Platinum, and with an idea of what I wanted to spend. While I saw Brent originally, he didn’t want me to wait as he was with another customer so quickly asked if Stephany could help me. I appreciated that respect for my time. Stephany was great and clearly explained what she could and couldn’t do for me and why. Again, her willingness to explain the price in detail was refreshing. She was very knowledgeable about the car and walked me through the features. Dealing with Christina was also a pleasant experience. She explained all my options clearly and how things worked. When I asked for an earlier delivery, Stephany made the effort to accommodate me with the service department. Thanks to all for a great experience.

Bought a used 2013 altima just this week. Car looks great and runs great. One tiny issue with the heated seat for drivers side not working. Have not talked about it yet to my sales consultant STEPHANY ABAGIU. During my test drive i did mention it to Stephany that its not working but it was a hot day and the seat was hot and so i assume she thought it was working. Will talk to her about it soon. I am sure they will take care of it.
Stephany Abagiu was great, nice in talking and good response time. See did take good care of the whole sales process. She did go over the all the feature of the car nicely. Liked to deal with her.

If I could give a minus rating I would. Nissan Waterloo blew their Customer service skills (lack of) in the service dept. From the service manager to the techs. Nissan frontier and trailer marker lights. They know the story. 3x in not fixed, 4th time they wanted me to pay for a diagnostic. Didn't need one. The issue was a very simple relay switch. An EX- Nissan mechanic had one in his tool box, 3 min fix. Didn't cost me anything. But it did cost Nissan a BAD reputation. KG

Cindi and Stephany were wonderful througout the entire process. Cindi was incredibly helpful in getting financing sorted and Stephany was knowledgeable and super friendly during every meeting with us.
