I go to get an X-ray today at 4: 30pm. The door is unlocked but the lights are mostly off. I run back to my car to grab the paper I forgot and the guy just says “we’re closed, come back tomorrow”. I asked why the website says 6, he said those are old hours.

Would have been nice if the correct hours were posted so i didn’t waste the drive! And if the guy was a bit nicer rather than just yelling we’re closed come back tomorrow.

Today I visited 4th time at this place and receptionist Anu kumra is always calm and compassionate. She helped us out in a situation when someone misplaced doctors requisition but she went above and beyond to find that and updated us back. It was a good experience with receptionist Anu and the technicians as well.

Best place to waste time for xrays. They accept walkins for xrays but they dont know how much time would it take 1 hr or whole day. They should switch to appointments instead if walkin so that patients can get the services on time instead of wasting time there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I appreciated Ms. Shaista (tech.) for guidance and support throughout the scanning of my wife.definitely recommend this place.

These people are honestly ridiculous. Initially they sent us to the 820 location. After that we came all the way here and they said that they can’t do that as we came a minute late. They don’t accept their fault. Our system is screwed up with medical syndicates like these

A receptionist that can’t read/figure out a simple acquisition forms, but works a job that requires such a skill is a very odd concept to me. I took my requisition to true North and wasn’t made to explain medical terms that I have no idea of.

My experience was great. I was in and out with my appointment within 30 minutes. The technician, Shazia was professional, efficient and friendly.

If the have zero star, I put it zero star because I bring my dad this clinic for x- ray and there service is so slow, we are waiting 35 minutes and my dad booked appointment 3: 00 pm i mean why people booking appointments like save time,

I don’t know why this place has bad reviews! They got me in next day for an ultrasound that everywhere else in town was booking 2-3 months out. They were professional, quick, and the location was clean. I didn’t wait at all at my appointment time and the tech was very nice.

I had a really positive experience at WNR! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I had an 8am appointment and was out by 8: 20am. My technician Maye was very friendly, positive and outgoing. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything to me. Despite these negative reviews, I had nothing but positive things to say.

I had a great experience with Sabana during my ultrasound appointment. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Sabana was able to explain everything that was happening and answer all of my questions, which put me at ease. Her friendly and calming demeanor made the appointment much less stressful. I took my elderly mother for X-rays and the technician was so rough she left bruises on her hips. At this place, there’s no one around to help you.

Booked one appointment and was told to wait over an hour because they overbooked. Decided to reschedule, and showed up for the appointment only to be told they hadn't booked me in at all for that day. Don't waste your time with these disorganized people!

Their techs and especially those guys saurabh, and tushar, they both are so helpfull, they always give me a reminder calls for my appointment also they cooperate alot with me every time whenever I visit there.

I had a great ultrasound experience at WNR. Even though the location was quite busy but I didn't need to wait too long. The staffs here seemed to care a lot, I am especially thankful to the receptionist Raman and my ultrasound technician May. They were very welcoming and caring so it helped me to feel less nervous about the whole process. Highly recommended!

Was told I’d have to wait until October for an ultrasound at true north imagining for a knee injury caused by a hit and run. This clinic had me in within 48 hours! Fast, Clean, Professional.

Not happy right now. When I made my app it was for x-ray and ultrasound, was told on the phone that both would be done here at my app, after getting here, I'm told I need to drive 6 minutes down the road to get xray done. I don't know this area very well, it's a big deal for me to be driving aimlessly around waterloo

This is my third visit and I have never had such efficient and good experience as I have had every time. The front staff, technicians (doctors) are all very pleasant and easy to talk to. New office is bright, huge and very clean. Parking on the other hand is hmmm…a pain. I will continue coming here

My scheduled ultrasound was completed on time and in a professional manner. I’ve used this clinic on more than one occasion and would recommend….

Quick booking way better than True North for sure ultrasound was done easy and the tech was amazing.

Chest Xray with no appointment. Was able to email my requisition to them onsite. Was in and out in around 25-30 min. No complaints other than the location being hard to find and only real parking is behind the building with no entrance in back.

Staff is professional and polite. Staff made sure that everything goes quick from booking to the exams in a professional manner. 100% recommend it to others.

Really great place. Walked in and was seen within ten minutes first thing in the morning (no line up to get in when it opened). Staff were friendly.

Took over an hour for an ultrasound to be completed. We confirmed the day of our appointment that we could have an X-ray taken same time and was told yes but when we got there, we were told we had to come back another day. So disappointing and upsetting since we had to take time off for this appointment. Their answering machine isn’t even a message but sounds like a pocket dial. Very unprofessional.

Quick with appointments, but slow with everything else. Technicians don't seem to know what they are doing. Super small rooms.

I went for my 20 week pregnancy Anatomy scan, it was done by the Technician named “May”. Till now I had her in my two ultrasounds. Always on time, She made me comfortable and is the most friendly and understanding tech. She did the ultrasound so patiently and made sure everything is done perfectly.

The reviews speak for themselves. I’m finally getting around to writing this because I was so frustrated at this place for a long time That I didn’t even want to think of it again. The technicians are poorly trained, in fact I am not even sure if their qualifications are legitimate… bedside manner is awful, cold hearted, pretends not to hear you, ignores your requests, doesn’t read the requisition form properly - I had to inform her many times during the ultrasound that the lump I have on my abdomen is here (pointing to it) she did not acknowledge me or do the ultrasound where indicated, only the ones the doc ticked off, not where he wrote a note. She was packing it up and says all done, I had to ask once again to please check the lump before I go which is the main reason why I am here, and the reason the doc wrote a note on the requisition. She does it in less than 2 min. Took one photo. She was acting annoyed. So now I am not so sure that anything was actually looked into there. I have zero confidence in her skills. So at the end she says you’re done and gets up to leave, didn’t wipe the ultrasound gel, hands me a tiny square of paper towel to do it myself, by now it was all over my whole shirt since she kept getting me to lay on both sides but not wiping it before doing so.
As others mentioned I would gladly wait 2 weeks for an appointment with a reputable place than ever step foot in here again. I have relatives with similar experiences. Just save yourself the frustration and time and go elsewhere

I went there today for an ultrasound. First of all very shady and poorly lit place. Staff is extremely unfriendly. During Ultrasound, technician hardly spent 2-3 mins before saying that i cant see anything so i need to do an internal ultrasound. When i said i need to consult wd my hubby abt it she gave me a refusal form to sign. N then i noticed that she did have image on the machine. I am not sure if they get more money from govt to do additional tests but this sure felt like a scam. Ps this is not my first pregnancy or ultrasound. She did not try to do it properly.
Yes its true- they dont give enough tissue to clean the gel and absolutely no privacy.

I highly recommend Waterloo Nuclear and Radiography. Brought my son here after getting hurt playing hockey. The staff were very helpful. His X-Ray technician Jan was amazing. Such a caring and kind person! It was a very positive experience given the stressful situation.

I took my mother to get an ultrasound exam here. Staff were pleasant enough, and it seems my mother thought the ultrasound technician was very friendly and warm. Waiting room seemed a trifle small; even though we were there early at for a 9: 30 appointment, the seats were all soon taken. Free and ample parking out front.

Interestingly enough, someone there has some artistic talent. Their artwork was on display in the waiting room, and available for purchase. Nice to see!

Had a pregnancy ultrasound with them and they were really efficient and kind. I was taken in at the actual time of my appointment and was able to walk away with a photo of our baby. I’ve booked my next ultrasound with them and I am looking forward to another positive experience.

You guys are open on Saturdays which is really great because it was critical for me to get x-ray done on that day. Excellent service. Very humble people and you guys coordinated well and got the job done for me in a fraction of time. Thanks a lot guys! God bless!

Amazing service. We went as a walk in today with our 23 month old daughter. They saw us right away and the staff was amazing. The ultrasound technician was very kind and the gentleman that did the x-ray was sooooo kind. Thank you so very much for accommodating us and being such kind humans. You guys are the best!

I just had my anatomy scan with this center. The staff was very polite and friendly. My appointment was right on time. Shazia, the ultrasound technician, was awesome. She was very thorough and took her time to do my ultrasound and explained to me why she needed such amount of time. She understood my anxiety and gave me two nice baby pictures at the end of the appointment. After the appointment, they allowed me to stay inside to wait for my husband (kinda windy and cold outside) and I was asked by different staff if I was served or no. Very customer oriented I would say. Highly recommend this place!

This was my first experience at this center. My ultrasound technician Shazia was amazing. She was very kind and professional. She took the time to explain the process to me and made me feel very comfortable. She was knowledgeable and very passionate about her customers and her job. I am very grateful that she was my technician especially because this was my first ultrasound.

My friend had injured his hand which got badly swollen then the doctor told to get the X-ray done as quick as possible we called several places but this place booked right away for the same day whereas other places were putting us on waiting list.
The staff is helpful and kind gets you book at the right time.

Kind people. I was told by a walk in clinic they were open til 10 pm. I arrived right around closing. They took me in and had me out quickly, when they didn’t have to.

I called WNR today and told them about my urgency and thankfully they accommodated me for same day appointment. My experience for X-ray and Ultrasound were good and both the technician's were helpful. Thanks

I have had quite a few bad experiences at this office before due to the receptionist but always held off on doing a review because the technicians I’ve had have always been nice and gentle and the doctors are wonderful. But today made me so angry that I can feel my blood boil. I had an appointment and I went in for some urgent ultrasound stuff, and when I got there I was turned away because my health card expired. The receptionist tried to charge me close to $300 dollars to do the tests and I was rudely told I’d have to reschedule if I didn’t want to pay them and to go get my health card renewed. This is COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that under Ontario Law right now, all expired health cards are still valid until further notice and that we are still eligible to receive care. I am aware that I needed to get it done eventually but this is ridiculous. I’d also like to mention the fact that they are doing almost nothing to lessen the amount of people in the office - the waiting area was so overcrowded when I arrived. So much for social distancing.

There is something super shady about this place and their business practice, and the reviews speak for themselves. I went here because it was urgent and I was told to come here by the walk-in doctor because they would see me quicker. I get there for my scheduled appt and ended up waiting almost an hour to be seen despite being the only patient (well my young son was the patient) there for almost the entire wait. Eventually I ask the receptionist how much longer and she ignored me, I assumed she hadn’t heard me so I asked again and nothing. My young son then asked if he was next and she ignored him while he looked at me confused and repeated himself.no response. We eventually were seen and the tech himself was fine, not the caliber I’m used to at my usual place (Karma) but fine enough and although not great with kids he was harmless. I would never go here for testing again though, if you require quick and dirty this is your place but otherwise other places are worth the wait.

Made an appointment for 145. Was on time and had people walk in after me stating they didn't have an appointment and were seen and left before I was even processed.

My Girlfriend had a ultrasound done here today and was forced to pay over $350.00 because her health card expired in June and due to covid has not been able to renew it. I am report this to Doug Fords office. Also she said she has never felt so uncomfortable and treated so rudely by a (doctor/technician)

I had my first prenatal appointment here at 8 weeks gestation. I made it here because they were the only place when I called around during Covid that would allow my husband in to see the ultrasound. Unfortunately that was the only positive. During the beginning of my appointment the ultrasound tech just scanned my abdomen and didn’t say a word for 20 minutes which made me very nervous. After that she asked for my age and if I wanted an abortion. Those were the only questions. I was already asked if I wanted an abortion when I made the appointment over the phone so that being the only real question really upset me. My husband and I want this baby very much and were hoping for a more positive experience. Also the quality of the photo was very zoomed out and not very clear. I had to prop myself up on my elbows in order to see the screen since she didn’t angle it towards me at all. I hope they can work on their bedside manner and communication with their patients.

I HIGHLY recommend WNR for ultrasound! It was SUCH an amazing experience! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have safe protocols in place for COVID. The ultrasound photos they give you of baby are large 8x10 print outs and the ultrasound technician explains everything on the screen. It was amazing seeing my husband's face seeing our baby on the monitor!:) My husband and I are so grateful for this experience! Thank you! I will definitely book all my future ultrasounds at WNR!

Excellent place for Ultrasound and X-Ray.
Dr. Shabana and Dr. Shazia are two best doctors for Ultrasound.
The place is neat and clean, staff is very polite, patient and highly cooperative.
It’s one of the best radiology centers in Waterloo region. Highly recommended.

I’m really disappointed with their communication and operations. I got a voice mai from the at 7pm to confirm an appointment. The receptionist advised me she want to knowl if the technician should come or not for the next day appointment at 9am. Not even during the regular hours, and called them back at 7: 01 and left a v/m they called me back at 7: 38 and they advised me they canceled my mom’s appointment! The worst customer service, really poor communication, to cancel my appointment because you didn’t even check your voice mail! Really Unprofessional!

My wife and I visited this place yesterday for an urgent ultrasound. She suffers from severe axiety and is auto immune compromised. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, this is NOT a place i recommend you take your loved ones. Although the staff member at reception was behind plexiglass, no facial coverings were worn nor gloves replaced. In addition no questions were asked about mine nor my wife's travels, fevers, coughs etc.
There was one other patient in the waiting room, when he was called in no one sanitized the chair he was occupying. Additionally, the chairs were not spaced, and front door not locked. Considering this is by appointment only, and in the name of safety, for all, during this pandemic, its not too much to ask for a locked door and sanitation of public space.
The ultrasound technician was only wearing a single glove and no mask, just a face shield.
No sanitation equipment could be seen in the room, which leads me to wonder if the technician sterilized the ultrasound scanner after the last scan, since it was now in contact with my wife's bare skin!
In conclusion, avoid this place, covid-19 should be taken seriously, many people have lost their lives to this virus, don't be one of them, don't go here and take a chance.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and now I know why! I wish I could give this place a zero. When I came in the receptionist didn’t acknowledge at first and then asked for my paper work. I gave it to her and waited for her to ask for my health card, but she told me to sit down—then 1 minute later asked for my health card. While I was in the waiting room she took calls on speaker phone so that you could hear patient information very clearly (names and types of tests) which made me uncomfortable realizing that when I called to make my appointment likely everyone in the waiting room heard some of my medical history.
When it was time for my testing the ultrasound technician asked very private questions with the door open so that other patients waiting outside might be able to hear.
To top it all off the receptionist keeps insisting that I need to get my health card renewed before they can send my test results to my doctor. I explained several times that on the government of Ontario website all health cards that have expired (after March 1st 2020–mine expired in April) are Still recognized as valid due to COVID-19. She kept insisting that they aren’t valid anymore and said that was “before” (no date—just before) and that service Ontario is open so I HAVE to get it renewed. Don’t get me wrong I realize I have to renew my health card eventually but if the government of Ontario is Saying that expired health cards are still valid then this clinic needs to honour that and not badger people to do something service Ontario is advising against. It honestly felt like a money grab as she tried to convince me to pay for the test upfront and the clinic would refund me when I get my health card renewed.

I am looking into how I can report this clinic to a higher authority for trying refuse a valid Ontario health card—according to the government of Ontario’s website which was updated today.

They are all welcoming and pleasant, from the receptionist to my ultrasound tech. They are happy to answer your questions as much as they are allowed to say. I have only had good experience with this team. Much love to my ultrasound tech and the receptionist.

I have got my Ultrasound and X-ray done here. Shabana is really very professional and she took good care. I would recommend this place.

This place has no respect for patient privacy and staff lack bedside manner. Pelvic ultrasound was being completed and staff left door open while exam was being performed and when I told her to close the door as I didn't feel comfortable she did but then another employee just opens the door without knocking and respecting patient privacy and modesty. They make you change behind a thin curtain with other patients literally sitting right outside of it, they can probably see your bare body through the thin curtains.
Technician doesn't provide sheets to cover your lower body while she completes exam and when she is done just throws paper towel at you to clean up. They don't even leave the room to allow you to get dressed, just stand there and continue to do there work. The technician did a transvaginal ultrasound as well and I was experiencing discomfort, she got annoyed and even after making me get undressed and performing the ultrasound on me she said sorry I can't finish this for you because you are experiencing discomfort. Whoever owns this place should really be ashamed and should make some serious changes as treating patients like this is not acceptable! Bedside manner and respect are very important when such private exams are being completed. I would never recommend anyone go here!

It is extremely impressive that their scan appointment wait time was a fraction of what the hospital gave us (30 days).

The staff at the WNR clinic we're amazing! We arrived at the clinic just as they were about to close for their break (between 4-5pm). Rhonda felt terrible, as she understood the urgency of our situation - so she took the time out of her break to book us an appointment that evening! We were so grateful. Aman at reception went above and beyond to ensure that we got an appointment that evening. I would highly recommend this facility

Super friendly and efficient. Same day service is the norm. Dr.received results next day. I even got a CD if my X-ray.

Fast appointment Time but there’s price you pay for that. I took my wife there for an ultrasound. The place is totally unorganized. The receptionist is overwhelmed with calls and clients. We get there a little early but 20 minutes after my wife’s appointment time, my wife told told the receptionist that she needed to use the washroom. The receptionist said to pee a little and keep some for the ultrasound. My wife said how can pee a little? The receptionist said try it.
There’s also a man hovering around the place who’s micro managing the receptionist. He was also on his cell phone on speaker in the reception area talking loud to someone else.

During the ultrasound I wasn’t allowed in the room. The technician said she will call me in 30-40 minutes for some reason.
During the ultrasound, someone knocked on the door and said the next is client is waiting and the technician should wrap up. The technician said 5 more minutes.

Two ultrasounds done by Shazia, wonderful technician, will make sure to see her again in the future.

They are the best, always available. My doctor was missing a form and they went out of their way to print it and fill it out manually so I don't miss my ultra sound. The staff defiantly goes out of their way to help.

Our experience with pregnancy ultrasounds have been great over there. We were able to get the appointments even at night times as the location is open until 10. Short notice appointments were never a problem. The staff accomodates those pretty well.
The staff treated us well.
Shazia Qureshi is very knowledgeable and professional. She answered all our questions. She performed all the scans and was able to explain us the details (whatever she could share) in professional capacity. We are very much satisfied and definitely recommend this location esp for ultrasounds.
