Waterloo Public Square

Good food and a variety of goods, Long and McQuade music shop, little animals for kids skate park very close, so much to offer. Mostly mid to high prices. Food with tip and drink $30 -$ 45 per person. Post Covid pricing.

Went to BeerTown for lunch and they have a nice outside/inside open area. It has a nice view of the square with a decent sized parking lot just off King Street

Great spot with lots of free parking. I like pretty much all the bars/ patios directly surrounding. Good place to go without a reservations or start/finish a uptown Waterloo bar hop.

Never got a chance to go inside but I like it's convenient location, access to ample parking, transit and great shopping - when the political dictators finally allow shopping and dining again! The outside concourse has plenty of room to hold intimate concerts, political rallies and even a church service.

Love seeing people enjoying with families and friends and giving a finger to all the rules and regulations set for their protection by the city, municipality and the province. And same people that will get sick and want preference treatment over others in hospitals. Next time we go out we all should think one thing, do nurses and doctors deserve a break? And my decision is selfish or not!?

Since covid, the usual live events can't happen. My friends & I picnic @ the tables in the square. Lots of places to buy food or we bring our own. Great place to just hang out!

Really enjoy it here on a weekend evening or night. Lots of activity and it's buzzing. Good number of restaurants and bars around to go to also.

They've done a great job making this almost like a small square and there are picnic benches and loads of seating area for a group of people.

Nice, calm place to relax and chill. Ice skating is great. Restaurants nearby with all variety.

We went skating. It was a great small outdoor rink which wasn't too busy on a beautiful Sunday morning. Enough spots to sit and change into skates at the side.

Nice open outdoor space for music venues, community events and sitting to eat outside in good weather. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

This is a very nice place! You can enjoy the mall, a lot of restaurants in a very familiar environment. In snow season you can use the ice rink, you just have to bring your ice skates.

It was an awsome experience to just be able to skate and not be chasing a puck as well! The ice got quite chewed up due to the amount of people. It might help if it would be flooded every half hour or just flood it twice, but it's a great place to relax and skate!

This is a nice hang out spot if you looking to meet new people especially in the warm summer months.

Still a work in progress. It is a cement slab. During the summer there are summer things happening. Now we are waiting for the ice pad to be set up.

Stopped by the square on my way from a Bicycle ride.and noticed a Security staring right at me within 15-20 feet. Felt uncomfortable, but Ignored him and continued to enjoy the sunshine

Great place to visit with family and friends. They have a ton of free events outdoors year round.

Loving the park here. I have been going to this park for 35 years and I am happy to see that the City of Waterloo decided to invest money into making this park visually appealing.

Nice public square. Has lots of parking nearby and lots of small shops and restaurants around the square. There is also lots of events in the open space throughout the year including buskers in the summer and an ice rink in the winter.

Cora's, groceries, Shopper's Drug Mart, hair salon, cafe, novelty sock store, retro games store, and more. Great place to waste some time if you're caught in the area. There's also lots of stores across King Street as well as across Willis way.

A very modern public square, lots of features added both for functionality and cosmetic purpose. A space the whole family can enjoy.
