Watzin Veterinary Clinic

On Oct 10 my veterinary clinic could not see our cat. She was urinating blood so we were told to check and see two of their veterinary clinics and find out if they could see her. Amazing they saw her that day NO questions asked. Amazing staff and very helpful.
Unfortunately the treatment given was not helping her and she started breathing poorly. So on Oct 16 I called to see if they would see her. They took her right away but the rest of the morning was a morning from hell as she couldn't breath and the x-ray showed triable issues that could not be solved. Within a short span of maybe an hour I lost my girl. She should have been able to be seen by her own vet though out come probably would have changed but she should have been in a place she know.
Any ways I would recommend this clinic except caution you to watch your bills as this place doesn't charge for rechecks. I was there spent over 300$$ and back a wk later for almost 1200$$. Normally if seen often there is at least a discount in the exam but NOT here.
Very sad in a time like I was going thru money was a huge deal. Even pay for her cremation right away. I have never had to pay until my furbabies comes back to me.
JUST BE CAREFUL WITH THE BILLING IS ALL I REALLY WANTED TO SAY.

I don’t usually leave reviews on Google but I wanted to write a note regarding this clinic and Dr Christina. We had to put our cat down, and Dr Christina and the team made an incredibly hard few days easier with their patience, empathy and kindness. We were stressed and probably asked the same questions over and over again and each time the answers were explained in detail, and with kindness being respectful of the stressful situation we were in.

Our hearts are broken but we have peace knowing that Chloe went so peacefully and she was in such amazing hands.

Really calm, relaxing atmosphere, very knowledgeable vets, super friendly and courteous staff. Rhe vets are very good at explaining what is happening and answering questions. They are often able to give me an appointment on a very short notice. It's a bit of a drive for me but I love coming here.

I adore this clinic so much. They have special seating areas for cats and dogs. My cat went to this clinic before passing, and they had blankets to cover their crates and a device plugged into the wall that released a special scent to relax cats. They also had a lot of informational material about fleas and ticks, which was interesting to read and see. All the staff are friendly, from the receptionists to the vets. I remember when I took my baby in to be examined, the vet was very kind and patient with her. She also explained everything she did and why. They were also very kind about me being late the one time as my cat had managed to get herself stuck inside the couch right before our appointment. The staff are also very easy to talk to and ask questions of.

Watzin, thank you for treating me and Midnight with such kindness. I will never forget it. When I am healed enough to get another kitty, I will immediately call to get them in as a patient.

Love this clinic, adore the staff, so happy here! I have been to many clinics where there is an ever-revolving staff, nobody knows your name, and you’re going over your pet’s history with each new vet you see. Not here. I’m welcomed and greeted warmly each time I come, and they love to see my dog!
What’s even more important to me is that they are a certified Fear Free clinic. This means that not only are they all aware of the fear and distress signals your pet is giving, they respect those signals and work with you and your pet to ensure the visit goes as well as possible. They do not perform any unnecessary procedures, and each procedure they do perform is paired with treats, cuddles, calming music and scents, and you can also rest assured that if your pet is saying “uh uh, no thanks, I’m done! ” the staff will stop, rather than force your pet to endure something they’re uncomfortable with. This Fear Free approach puts this clinic worlds beyond any other place.

When our cat became sick very suddenly overnight, none of the 24hr emergency hospitals around us had time to see her. Our current vet clinic couldnt even fit her in the next day.
But Watzin Veterinary Clinic came to our rescue! They got our cat in first thing that morning and I am so incredibly happy with the care we received.
The techs were extremely welcoming and friendly. They handled our scared cat with expertise and care.
But I am most impressed with Dr. Christina Jobson. She was outstanding! She was thorough, answered ALL of my question without making me feel rushed, and her kindness when I was sad and tearful was much appreciated.

The care and attention Max our wheaten received after a mauling by coyotes was outstanding from the team and I very strongly recommend them. Max is always happy to visit and obviously knows he is getting the best attention and care. They are on top of all his needs and provide all the necessary vaccinations and treatments.

Friendly and professional staff. Dr. Michelle performed the spay on my dog, and I was very much impressed with her skill and kindness.

My wife is disappointed to see our dog first grooming after dog service for over 3 hrs in the clinic. A picture was shown of what what we want before grooming but the body hair almost same after I picked up our dog. My wife phoned petsmart for another grooming schedule. However, we are very happy and fortunate to have Wetzin vet looked after the health and well being of our dog.

Kelly, the groomer is AWESOME. Followed her here to Watzin from her previous vet clinic. Totally worth a 45-minute drive each way! My dogs love her and she does a terrific job each time.

I can not discrive in words, how much they helped us during the care, recomendation and follow up of our beloved pet.even after the lost of our dog, the compasion they showed us made us feel is not just bussiness. We highly recommend Watzin Veterinary.

Every single interaction we have had with this clinic has been so warm and welcoming. I came for a visit today with my kitty, Lentil, and I could literally hear the excitement from the treatment staff when she was brought back for her injection. How sweet is that? ! I love that they prioritize fear free practices and can honestly say that Lentil enjoys her monthly visits. Thank you to all of the staff at Watzin, you are incredible!

I wanted to wait until I had a year under my belt to provide an honest review. I selected this clinic specifically for their Fear Free accreditation. My rescue dog is timid with anxiety at the vet office, Seeing and hearing about the Fear Free practices being used is wonderful and reassuring. My girl sees Dr. Katie and we couldn't be happier with her interest and follow up. As with most clinics, it's the front of house that you'll be dealing with most of the time and the staff does not disappoint. The concern and professionalism are mixed in with the right amount of humour, making visits easy for me. Lucky to have so close by.

We take our fur baby here and we've never had any issues. All the staff are very kind, and you can tell they all genuinely care for animals. They give in depth advice and explanation for care instructions. I feel content knowing they take care of our girl when its needed.
