On November 18th I took ownership of my 2024 Tundra. Two weeks prior I was actually on my way to different dealer when I stopped at Wayne Toyota. Nick was dealing with another vehicle but acknowledged me and said he would be right with me. He did meet me; and without the hard pressure sell, Nick was interested in what I needed in a pickup, what I would use it for and my driving habits. From that he suggested three different trim options and explained them. Again no pressure. Nick had my vehicle appraised and I went home with three printouts to mull over my options. Nick gave options not pressure, and was there up to the point of sale to answer questions. Two weeks after delivery Nick called to see if I had questions or concerns and told me to call anytime if I have concerns. Just seamless. Also big shout out to Jolene in Finance who came in on the weekend to complete the paperwork for us as Saturday was the only day I could make it to Thunder Bay. Just seamless.

I recently purchased a truck from Wayne Toyota with the assistance from associate Steven Bailot. Steve was very personable from our initial interaction and throughout the buying process. I had difficulty making up my mind at times regarding various options but Steve was patient and always responded to inquiries within a timely manner. All staff at Wayne Toyota were friendly and happy to help and at no time did I feel rushed or pressured while I was there. We have been driving the vehicle for the last few days and we couldn't be more pleased. The 2023 Rav4 limited is very comfortable, roomy and peppy SUV. Not to mention the fuel savings. Driving in the city is mostly in EV mode. Way to go Toyota. I have to also mention Jolene Dosen the Financial Services Manager at Wayne Toyota. Went for a oil change and the tech stole some change out of my car! Management dd nothing and never replied to my complaint or followed up by calling me like they said they would. Better to go to a oil change place where you can stay in your car while it is getting serviced!

Unfortunately, I have had a very bad experience at Wayne Toyota. I called the dealership in April 21 as a friend informed me about an extended paint warranty program for certain white vehicles. I was headed to Thunder Bay and I wanted to bring the vehicle in for assessment to see what could be done. The person who took my call said it was a cosmetic issue and that it didn’t need immediate attention. Given that we were facing pandemic measures, she suggested I come in when the pandemic was over. I thought this was reasonable at first. I called back in April 22 as things had settled down. I was informed that the extended paint warranty program was over (we were out by a few weeks). I tried to appeal to them and to Toyota Canada. I got nowhere. The only thing offered to me was to trade in the vehicle and purchase another at Covid price, or sell them my car for what I believe is a very low value. We were wronged by this dealership and by Toyota Canada. They offered us no financial assistance for repainting the affected panels. They were non-apologetic. If you want to be treated like an appreciated customer, I suggest you keep browsing at another establishment.

Visiting Thunder Bay recently. Had both front tires on my Corolla leaking air. Called and asked to speak to service department. No one answered. Left message. Waited hours for a return call and never received a return call. Tried over and over. Same thing every single time I called. Finally went elsewhere where my tires were repaired promptly. Not impressed with this Toyota dealership at all.

I had a great experience buying a used Mazda CX-5 from this dealership. Nick Ashworth was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with in the process. He is always available to respond to questions over text/calls while sorting out the details of purchasing a vehicle. After purchase, I noticed some wear and tear on the weatherstripping around the doors and under the hood, but they are going to replace them for me. Just waiting for the parts to come in. Overall I am very happy with my experience because they have been willing to go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction as a client. The service department reconditioned the interior really nicely, even ordering new premium Mazda floor liners as an added touch. Thank you Nick and the rest of the team for a great experience! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for their next vehicle.

While I was driving into town my traction control indicator light came on, as well as my engine light. I didn't notice or hear anything unusual so I thought it was a fuse that had blown. Once I stopped at the lights at Carrick and Harbour Expressway I noticed smoke coming from underneath the hood. Thinking fast. I immediately limped my truck to Wayne Toyota which was just a few minutes away. Once there, I asked Krista and Paula if there was anyone who could have a look at it, but unfortunately they were just closing and the technicians had already left as it was Saturday. Krista immediately booked my truck in and took my keys and reassured me that someone would have a look at it on Monday. Krista and Paula even kept me company while I waited for my wife to pick me up after they finished locking up. Krista, Kennus, and Rheena called me with updates between Monday and Wednesday.especially Krista. I have never had that level of communication from a dealership.simply outstanding. I honestly didn't think I would have my truck back before the end of the week.but it was looked at, diagnosed and repaired by Wednesday morning. My serpentine belt blew and took out a cooling line which was the cause of the smoke. I'm extremely happy with the level of service that I received from Krista and everyone else in the Service Department.nothing short of outstanding! Keep up the great work!

The few times I've needed vehicle service, it's been easy and quick. Krista in the service department is quick, easy to deal with and keeps you well informed regarding your vehicle.

GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE! Needed to trade in an Access Cab Tacoma because of a growing family. Looked at a few other manufacturers and none of them compared to the build quality and reliability of the Toyota RAV4. The experience at Wayne Toyota was also hands down the best. I was greeted right away by Amanda my Product Advisor. I was thinking between two Toyota models and she was able to help me decided the best one for my situation. After a test drive I was confident the RAV4 was the best choice. Jolene the Business Manager was fantastic to deal with as well. Everything was very well explained. The credit process was very quick and extremely easy. When I arrived to take ownership of my new vehicle Amanda went over all the options to make sure I was fully comfortable with my new vehicle. I also received a lot of Toyota branded gear that I was very happy to get! Overall will definitely be recommending Wayne Toyota to all my friends and family!

I have had nothing but bad experiences at this dealership.
It was painful to buy a vehicle from them.
They sold multiple vehicles out from under me and forced me to buy a vehicle sight unseen in order to get one.

They then, without consent, and when I specifically told them not to, sold my personal information to third parties. It took me calling Toyota Canada customer service to get my information retracted from their sharing program. I am still to this day receiving phone calls and junk mail from these third parties.

They forgot to include multiple options that I had paid for when I picked up my vehicle from them. It took me several weeks and dozens of phone calls and emails to have the paid for options added to my vehicle. When I brought my vehicle in to have the options added it was kept for 2 days because they “Didn’t realize I had a hybrid and didn’t plan the service properly”

Today, I was driving down the road and my windshield randomly shattered after turning on my defrost. No impact, no existing cracks. With under 10,000km on my vehicle I was told it was my problem, to pay for my own tow truck and that the best they could do was get a windshield shop to do the work and charge me for it.

Just sad that there are no other options for Toyota in this region.

Just picked up my second Toyota Rav4 a couple days ago, this time it was the Hybrid version. I knew the basics of what I was looking for when I went in and spoke to Nick Ashworth. He took the time to get to know what I needed and what I wanted and was able to help me select the best package for my new Rav4. He was extremely polite and very knowledgeable, and knew all the ins and outs of the vehicle without having to look up the details. Highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a new car!

So I had an appointment today at 3 pm to have a tire on my truck changed, which was made over a week ago. I got a nail in the tire and they said that they would have to get a new one so they ordered one in. Fine all is good. But when I show up for my appointment today I had to wait for an hour before my truck was even brought into the shop. In the mean time two people who came in after me had already left. Then at 3: 50 pm they decide ok can you do this truck now. At 4 pm some guy comes to me and said it will be about another 10 mins they just have to balance it and asked if I had to be somewhere, why of course I do, I was meeting my husband for supper. It took them an hour and 20 mins to change a tire on a truck. Sfpo

I dropped off my car repair at the ime the office was closed. In morning called and spoke with one of the staff who told me it will cost about $400+ to fix my car off which l agreed to. When l went to pick up my car hour later. They lady gave me a bill of $600+, l was shocked! I was so disappointed cos that was not the initial agreement on phone that l agreed to. I was ripped off, and still cant get over it.
