Wallahi my cro this place is sick styll. Bare ratings trust mi. Highly recommend this place for a great hike and some summer outdoor activities. Bring ur dog and ur shorty they will love it. The trail is super long and a good workout. Bring lots of water and snacks. You have to pay because it is a conservative but it is worth it. Amazing views of the falls and quarry. Great spot for photographers. Also recommend stopping in Dundas for some cute shopping. 10/10 date spot or fun for the whole fam jam. U heard it here.

We brought our golden retriever with us. It was a short walk from the parking lot to the Falls. Parking/entry seems to be a cash grab by the city, no real purpose to charge that much for 2 hours or less. Should be no more than $20, not $10 for parking and $5 per person in the car.

Great spot to spend the day enjoying the sun and water. It's truly a beautiful place to see!

Not as big as Niagara but just as beautiful.

NOTE: same parking ticket allows you access to the Tews Falls as well. It's a 3 minute drive from here.

Magnificent Waterfalls. Place was awesome for decades until about 10 years ago. Free access (it is part of the Bruce trail after all), trails to Tews and the Dundas peak, stairs to the bottom of the gorge, two road access. 2011 prices for admission and parking started and have gone up ever since. 2016 trails were closed, stairs to the gorge were removed as a "safety concern" and would be "replaced as a priority". For the amount they charge now $10 parking and $5 per person there should be a golden staircase in place by now. Dogs no longer permitted. What a joke? Now you need reservations and there is a shuttle bus to see beauty in your own city. Way to ruin a once natural beauty spot, fence it off, kick out the pets and charge outrageous prices. Revenue with no accessibility - shame on HCA - atrocious.

I enjoy it there but it was too expensive us to see nature this time. Almost 60 for the amount of people we had. So we left and tried some where else.

One star due to the fact that you need reservations now. God forbid people could enjoy the fresh air outside after nearly a year and a half of constant lockdowns. And when I was told that I need reservation at the gate I tried to book one since the parking lot was nearly empty, and their website wouldn't load. I'd understand limits, but come on people use your brains. When you only have like 7 cars in the lot allow the people in for crying out loud. By the way even tho I couldn't go in, thankfully Hamilton is full of other waterfalls with less moronic rules, so I still had an awesome day after all.

Commercializing public green spaces is a huge loss for the community and takes away opportunities from residents who may not be able to afford the high prices. There obviously is a good reason to manage admission during the busy summers, but there needs to be a balance for the sake of public access. With the prices for parking and admission together, it can really become exorbitant and unfair for families. Shame on the greedy HCA.

This waterfall would've been well worth it.if I could've figured out how to get down. I could see the falls from above, with limited views but I couldn't find the trail down. You could see people at the base of the falls and searched for a trail butmcouldnt find it. All the pictures I have seen online were from the base. This was another stop that we had to park at the lake christie area and take a shuttle bus over since the parking lots are closed over the weekends.

It's a nice family place to walk around, have a picnic, enjoy the ambiance and the falls. The only thing I didn't like is that no parking close by and we spent time trying to find one.
17 May 2020 11:26
Feels like you are in the mountains near Ellicottville but only 5 mins out of the city. Great for walking around. It can get busy though so consider going during the week if you can.
16 May 2020 3:32
There are no nature any more.they build fence around fall.you cannot come down the fall any more
05 May 2020 14:07
The falls are beautiful in the winter, and it is very nice and colourful. The flora, fauna and wildlife are colourful, diverse and beautiful, the only problem is the parking, there can sometimes be trouble about finding a good spot, and there no longer is a easy way to the top of the falls.

Three years ago a girl and I met here for a walk & picnic, and what became our second meeting and a magical date that set the stage toward marriage.
It was warm & sunny that previous day. This time cool & strong breezes. This time the water was high the streams running full and the falls robust, possibly prettier.

This time, it was nice to see all our fellow park patrons staying on the paths, instead of freewheeling however & wherever they choose - I think the edges of the embankment were in better condition due to us visitors taking better care of this popular natural attraction.

It's beautiful falls but access is cancelled and view is limited.quiet disappointed due to this.

Hamilton did nothing, for people to easily acsess Websters and Tews falls. Giving 250$ fine for car parkes on the side of the road is RIDICULOUS
Or waiting for a SHUTTLE in the Tews parking lot is make no sense, it takes toooo long

Great falls and hiking trails. They closed off access from the top down but paths exist around Dundas which can take you to the base of the falls. Worth it.

Webster Falls is a great place to take in fall colours. We arrived here on a week and in the end of October and it was very crowded. Most people had to take a shuttle bus to the Falls because there was no parking at the falls on the weekend.

The shuttle bus starts at Christie lake and goes to done Dundas peek before heading to Webster Falls. We chose to walk from Christie lake to Webster Falls instead. This was an extremely long hike and I would not recommend it. Instead, take the shuttle bus. It is much faster and you can always walk back.

The falls are very beautiful and you can observe it from multiple angles on both sides. There are fences that prevent people from climbing too close to the falls, but people routine the go around the fences to take the photos. Yes, it can be quite dangerous because it is a very steep fall.

There is also a neighbouring park around the Falls so you can stay there for quite a while. Overall, I would recommend this as part of a day trip to Dundas Peak. Very nice location to have a picnic and photos.

Not free anymore. Somewhat less convenient than it used to be but the park and hike is still good. Going from Dundas to Webster through the valley than up to Dundas peak and back to Dundas is fun.

Beautiful area and close to hikes and other falls. Tews falls is a short drive (or shuttle on weekends). Go for the day and explore! Bring a picnic, lovely picturesque spot.
14 May 2019 15:23
This place was really fun. Terrifying climb down to the bottom, (I suspect we went the wrong way), and equally terrifying climb back.
05 May 2019 16:04
A lovely place with a lot of photo ops. Sometimes it's worth taking the trails less walked here for some truly magnificent views. Last time I was here the stairs by the waterfall were out of commission.
29 April 2019 22:37
Great place to hike along the Bruce Trail and take a detour through one of the side trails to see both Tee's Falls and Webster Falls.
18 April 2019 16:22
Quiet during the off season (Nov to April). Typically very busy during warmer months, especially during weekends.
20 March 2019 22:41
Falls we're almost Frozen this. Year you won't be able to get behind the falls as the water has blocked most of the entrance
16 March 2019 22:32
Worth visiting falls in Hamilton area. This is one of the fall many in the area. There is so much nature in summer. The fall is beautiful in summer and even more beautiful in winter, when it is frozen. The parking in the area is little expensive, but worth it.
09 March 2019 11:17
Great waterfall! Now if you want to experience a great hike to under the falls of both Webster & Tews, where the train tracks are under Dundas Peak is an entrance into the forest that leads both to Webster & Tews. I will be visiting again this summer!

Stunning place! Definitely should be on the list "Places to see in Ontario". Loved the trails, nature, fresh air, but this is very busy place, especially in the fall, when all those colors are up. Great place to spend time with your friends and walk your puppy!
23 January 2019 6:36
As a local, my family and I loved to take a walk and enjoy nature. Now it has been ruined by tour busses and money-suckers. Such a shame. There should be a pass granted to locals to enjoy their own space without having to pay an arm and leg just to enjoy our backyard. Pathetic.
16 December 2018 12:33
Nice short trail but paid parking (10 CAD/day/vehicle). From October til spring some trails and parking spots closed (not this one)
04 December 2018 16:25
A very beautiful place and attractive falls. A really enjoying natural beauty of forestry and fresh air on the country side
07 October 2018 8:41
Can get overwhelming with kids on the weekends. Nonetheless great location for a hike or even just to sit around for the day.
05 October 2018 4:39
Disappointed. The fall is big but ugly. No facilities around- just a picnic table with lots of bird droppings on it. Got out of there right away and headed for the other much better one 500 meters up the road.

I have been going to this place for years and I’m disappointed at how the city is handling the place. The main issue I suspect is due to non respectful tourists. The best way to get here is probably biking. The parking issue is a real hassle - if you want a place to spend with the family it is probably best to go to Niágara falls instead. I still don’t understand why there is a 5$ fee to get into the park. Aren’t parks supposed to be free if they are maintained by the city?

Regardless this is worth a visit in all times of the year!
12 September 2018 0:14
After getting over the no parking situation and then walking the 15 minutes to the entrance they then wanted to charge another $5 per person just to see something that has existed free in nature for thousands of years!? There are better places in Ontario that are free to see! AVOID!
30 August 2018 20:03
Beautiful scenery and fun hike. It's sad they are charging a price for a shuttle. It's a public park and not provincial. Looking to make a quick $$

Great place for nature, tons of nice trees and animals to see. Good for taking photos too. Only problem is the parking, sometimes they are not there and thats when its free.
