Wellington Diner

Ugh. The food was meh and overpriced. And I didn’t have two strips of bacon with my breakfast as the sign told me I should. And I’m vaccinated and I wore a mask when I wasn’t eating. The nerve of me. Three thumbs down

I’ve been to the Wellington Diner a few times. The food is tasty, the service is great, and the location/atmosphere is relaxed. I really like that they are flexible with their menu. They were very accommodating when we asked to make a couple menu items vegetarian or gluten free.

Had a fantastic experience with Al at the Wellington Diner, friendly & fast service. Food was great and the caesers were even better!

Great spot for quick food in a diner setting. Tons of 80s new wave music, eggs dishes, and milkshake options. Often busy!

What a fun and busy place. We asked to sit upstairs and they were very accommodating with it being busy. Our waitress was so fun and engaging. We was super busy but still took the time to tell us about the favourites at the restaurant. The decor is super cool with pop art and vintage looking signs all over. If you like music memorabilia you should check out this place. It’s everywhere! The menu comes in the form of a QR code you scan with your phone. The food was plentiful and above average. One comment I would make if the owner is reading these reviews is the breakfast poutine has too much hollandaise sauce - 1/2 the amount with a bit more cheese would have been perfect. All and all would return!

Very diner. Food is good, especially compared to other diner types, but the sausage is very fennel heavy which isn't my favorite. Otherwise, delicious and well -made. Service was awesome and despite being busy on Sunday for brunch it didn't feel crazy crowded or rushed.

Came for the Mac Daddy Challenge - would definitely recommend the burgers and peanut butter chocolate shake. Friendly service and quaint diner feel

Very good milkshakes, like in the old days! Food is not too bad, and generous portions. Comfortable seating.

Really good portion for the price. I got the steak frites which came with a salad and I also got a milkshake. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and was seasoned well
The fries were soft but tasty and well cooked. The milkshake was delicious and was basically like drinking icecream. Overall very filling, quick service, and great food.

Just an awful experience overall. Food was very undercooked and the staff were rude, including management. I recommend STAYING AWAY as there are so many other better places in Ottawa to try.

Great and filling food. Very quick service. Thx to staff for courteous and attentive service. Nice ambiance eating in their patio.
(I would encourage the diner to open a little earlier for breakfast though - thx for considering).
