Receptionist should be fired. I don’t understand how there are so many horrible views about this blonde lady yet she is still working there. She is honestly the rudest person I’ve ever come into contact with at a walk in. They need to replace her ASAP. This is ridiculous

Wait times were bad due to very busy waiting room, but made up for by excellent staff! The receptionist was excellent and was very efficient. The doctors have been amazing, attentive and helpful.

Terrible. Do not go here even if it’s your last option. Staff were late to open the doors then took their time chatting with other staff instead of getting people checked in. The doctor rushed through the “exam” barely looked at me, didn't even tell me what was wrong with me but shoved a script in my face without explaining anything to me. Left feeling confused and frustrated

The walk-in clinic itself is alright.
The receptionist (Lianne or whatever her name was.) blonde lady.loudmouth is a whole different story. If I could I would have given 0 stars.
She is rude, unprofessional, RACISTTTTTT and thinks she’s better than everyone. She’s clearly on a power trip.cuts you off when you’re talking, tries to make you feel dumb like you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve been to this place 3 times and all encounters have been the same.
I don’t know why she’s still there with the amount of bad reviews regarding this lady, she should have been fired a long time ago. She shouldn’t be working in patient care.

Staff here are so nice and helpful. Had a bunch of forms I needed for school and they were very accommodating.

I was waiting in the line. She was so sweet to the person who was before me talking and wasting tons of time. I didn’t really mind. I waited almost 12 minutes when it was my turn. She flipped. She was totally different person very rude and mean I only asked if by chance they can give me a call when it’s close to my appointment as I have a newborn. Who is just comes out of the NICU

Then she stopped talking to me i was standing there waiting for her
She said hay are u going to give me your health card
I was shocked by the way she was talking to me i was like u didn’t say anything i was waiting for u
She said then I have to take the next person and she started talking to the next person as i am not there
Obviously, she was also a white person
End of story is such a bad attitude, bad customer service they don’t deserve to have any business

The worst experience today july 24 2023 Worst clinic ever. The receptionist is on this power trip and rude as hell. Picks and chooses who gets in before you.even though it’s first come first serve. I’ve waited here for 5 hours. And never seen the doctor after five hrs could not take the abuse and neglect anymore.i walk it out.very rude receptionist.nice to some people she likes.but very rude to others like me.

Very rude, left the waiting room before registering because of the receptionist’s attitude and demeanour. Could not stand the way they treated other people and myself. As when I was leaving I tried to ask to take my name off the list to register, they said to wait to do so very rudely and I was not waiting just to be around them longer

Worst clinic ever. The receptionist is under this power trip and rude as hell. They have follow up people? That get in before you even though it’s first come first serve. I’ve waited here for 4 hours. Go to emerge you will have better luck and better bedside manner, or find another clinic, any other clinic.

Doesn't matter what time you show up the clinic is always full and you turned around.

Showed up at 4: 10pm today and was told by janitorial staff that the doctor would not take any patients as it was too Close to 5pm

It would be really nice if they answered their telephone so you don’t have to drag a sick child there, just to find out it’s full.

My boyfriend came here to get antibiotics for strep throat (i just had it) and the doctor rushed the whole time, told him he didn’t have it and that he didn’t need antibiotics.wasn’t going to give him anything after waiting 4 hours! Next day he’s worse and in terrible pain and went to another walk in clinic and gets told he has strep throat and gave him antibiotics. Terrible service and “doctor”.

A brazen, self-confident, uneducated doctor, does not hear what the patient is saying, does not want to help. I don't recommend this clinic now.

Fast wait times and convenient location. After not having a good experience at other places I was starting to get discouraged. However, this place def an exception to the usual walk-in experience. Both the receptionist and doctor here are amazing.
The doctor listened to all my concerns without making me feel rushed. Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend this walk in clinic! Leanne at front desk and Brooke in the pharmacy are absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming and friendly. I never wait too long here as it’s also efficient

Worst place a patient could visit. Very very very rude receptionist. I wish they go through same way pateints do so they relise how pathetic they are.

Are they even doctor's? 3 days ago I went into this clinic with an obvious throat infection. He looks for a second and tells me I am fine, it's viral and will clear up on its own. I am day 3 with strep throat - I can't sleep, swallow, eat and I keep throwing up. I went to a DIFFERENT walk in this morning. He took a look and immediately said yes - it's strep throat. I informed that doctor that I had been to a previous clinic for the same thing and he said my tonsils must not have had the white spots - YES they very much did! I am in SO much pain and should have started on antibiotics 3 days ago. I believed what the doctor said to me, so here I was waiting for it to get better. DONT ALWAYS TRUST WHAT A DOCTOR TELLS YOU. Get a second opinion if you think something is wrong with your body.
I would avoid this walk in clinic at all cost. This isn't the first problem I have had here. But figured how hard is it to diagnose strep throat. The receptionist asked my symptoms, so I told her I believe it's strep throat and she laughed and said no I need your symptoms because 99% of patients coming in saying they have strep throat don't actually have it? Umm. Ok. Probably cause your doctors arent diagnosing it. Truly unbelievable. Terrible service. 0 stars there.

Sadistic "Doctor" won't sign disabilities paperwork screwing people out of their benefits so they get evicted and starve.
Likely not a real doctor, was only given a medical degree because he is brown. (Diversity) hope that a-hole gets shot in front of his family.

The blonde lady up front was so friendly and considerate, I'm incredibly thankful I came here and recieved the service I did. The receptionist went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and the pharmacy staff did the same. This is my go-to walk in clinic

Recieptionist is extremely rude and didnt want to help answer my questions. I had to pry answers out of her. I do like this walk in just dont call em they get upset.

Receptionist is rude and unprofessional, is not wearing a mask dehind desk, she is using pet names towards patient, long wait, not a first come first serve basis, we were told to put name on paper and sit and wait. After asking why we have not been seen, we were told that we did not put our name on the right area of the page. Do not recommend, Zero stars here!

Staff was helpful and did their best for me. The doctor was good and asked all the questions he was supposed to and actually listened to what I had to say. I didn't get resolution but my medical needs are beyond what the clinic can offer. Over all one of the least stressful doctors appointments to date.

I called this clinic this morning and was on hold for 10 mins. When the receptionist came back on, she hung up on me when I ask if they take appointments. I called again, and ask if they take appointments or is it walk-ins only. She said “Honey, I’m busy working. It’s first come first serve. If you want to come in, we close at 4. ” Then I ask how many people are there now. And she repeated herself that she’s busy working. The Clinic might be good, but not the staff.

The receptionist was not welcoming, and also I was in the waiting room for about 2 hours to see dr, when I asked the receptionist how many were a head of me she said she has no time to look up the list I don’t think I will back to this clinic again

I only seen this doctor twice and he was amazing the lady he has up at the front desk is also amazing I recommend this please to everybody

Just went to Walk-In and signs posted the walk-in clinic is closed permanently. This isn't posted anywhere online and I just wasted a bunch of time getting out here for nothing.

Worst clinic I have ever been to. 1 doctor and 1 staff member. The secretary is running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Unable to even tell us the wait time or how many people ahead of us because she was "doing a million things". At several points she was so busy that the doctor had to come out to nod that the doctor waiting rooms were empty. This clinic is incredibly poorly run. Do not waste your time. Very unprofessional, under staffed and dirty.

An hour wait or more just to give your health card then +2 hours longer if you do wait for that time they ask you to come back after your blood work is done which can be 3 to 5 hour wait or more worst service ever never going back my blood work is not that important almost forgot 45 minute wait for the key to a bathroom that is disgusting

The receptionist is very rude. My husband asked her several times how many people were ahead of us, but she did not bother to answer. If I could, I would give zero star. The clinic needs to do something about this person, since other reviewers also seem to be unhappy about her.

Don’t waste your time. Currently sitting in a room full of patients yet to be seen by receptionist. Instead of doing her job she left a room full of people who haven’t been checked in to go stand outside and talk to someone for 10 minutes, after just having come back from her lunch and sat on her phone instead of taking the patients through. She is lazy and incompetent. She has been socializing rather than dealing with the patients. We have been waiting for 40 mins, have not been checked in properly and have not seen a doctor. We signed the sheet and have been waiting and waiting. Go to another clinic.

Absolutely embarrassing. Do NOT go to that place. The receptionist put me on hold for 10 minutes. I call back and she hung up on me 3 times also gave me an attitude. No offense but if you cannot fufill the role of an office job maybe you shouldn't work at an office job. I cannot even imagine how many other clients that we don't know of have been through this.

My first experince was simply wonderful. I needed to see a doctor urgently but there was no doctor on site that day. When checking me in Lee-Ann noticed that my brand new health card was invalid. She gave me a number to call. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT! In just 10 minutes the problem was fixed thanks to her professionality and care. In absense of a doctor she took a photo of my injury and sent it to the doctor on call right away. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT EITHER! She told me the doctor would call me within 10 minutes and he did. He sent the prescription to her and she forwarded it to the pharmacy. I was in and out in just one hour although I initially arrived with an invalid health card.
While waiting I realized that Lee-Ann scurries around the clinic a lot indeed. Why? It's a 2 people operation - Lee-Ann and the doctor. Lee-Ann has to do all the administrative stuff and she does it in an absolute kind and professional manner. Yes, I also had to wait too to talk to her because she had to fill in in the pharmacy too. She is anything but lazy - she's just busy doing a very demanding job. There is simply no time for her to answer impatient people's questions. If there are 10 or more people waiting and just one doctor, common sense indicates that there's a few hours waiting time.
I wonder if all the negative reviews are rather a reflection of impatient individual's own attitutes rather than Lee-Ann's performance.
Try next time treating her with respect, appreciation and kindness and you will go home with a totally different experience.
Treat people with respect and kindness and you'll be treated in kind.
By the way, if you're too impatient to wait for a few hours but rather call the receptionist rude, lazy and incompetent instead, then please try the RVH and possibly wait for up to 12 hours (my own experince) to see a doctor.

Receptionist was quite rude this morning. Rest of the staff seemed friendly though. Unfortunately, I won’t return to this clinic due to the receptionist.

Fast and easy service if you make an appointment, however the receptionist is incredibly rude and unhelpful.this has been a complaint with others for some time.

Honestly this is my go to clinic. I sat in the waiting room for an hour and I actually felt bad for all the rudeness the receptionist had to go through. She was soooo nice and caring to me. I guess you truly catch more bees with honey. Be nice and you'll have a great experience. Don't forget these health care workers survived through COVID. You think you had it bad? Love the blond at the front desk. Def recommend. Doctor was quick and efficient

This is my #1 place I go to because I feel comfortable. The staff is super polite and makes sure you are okay. All the comments about the receptionist being "rude" - there is a zero tolerance to anyone being rude and you will be asked to leave, I'm sorry if think that is unfair. With covid and everything happening people have become quite inconsiderate of others especially to workers in the medical field. I'm polite no matter the pain im going through because there's someone there waiting to help me as long as I can be a little patient understand a lot more people are going to walk in clinics and such due to the hospital wait times so you are bound to wait longer than expected there too.

Receptionist can be polite but very adversarial, even when a simple mistake occurred she talked down to incoming patients. Location is poorly kept, no organization for check in, line up, highly recommended looking for another location before you waste your time at this location. Very disappointed.

Worst Clinic In barrie by far! Pharmacist is very rude they don’t care about there patients they only care about making a buck. Highly recommend that you DO NOT go to this pharmacy

DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible experience today. This is the first complaint I have ever written.which is saying a lot. I had to take work off in order to see a doctor in person. And there are very little places in Barrie to see a doctor, in person, at a walk in clinic.

When I got to the Wellington clinic, the lady at the front desk was taking a personal phone call. She told me to write my name down and take a seat. She did not ask for my health card, why I was there or if it was covid related. I wrote my name down, but I did not sit down at first, as I had a couple questions (I.e. Roughly how many people were in front of me). I waited for a few minutes in front of her desk (again she was taking a personal phone call) and she rudely repeated for me to sit down. So I did. I would also like to note, I was wearing a mask, and maintaining social distancing protocols.

Then when she was done on the phone, a gentleman who had been waiting (much longer than me I assume) went up to her and asked her how many people were in-front of him and she told him kindly. So I then asked her, how many people were in front of me, she raised her voice and told me she doesn't have time for me and walked away. She then processed to laugh and chat with another staff member.

I don't understand why she was so kind to one person, but rude to the next, who asked the exact same question. I immediately felt uncomfortable and embarrassed (since many other people witness all of this).

I called the virtual Good Doctors Clinic on Mapleview - they were extremely kind and saw me within minutes.

My family and I have been coming to this clinic for years now and I can confidently say that I’m never leaving. Customer service is wonderful, the receptionist makes you feel at home and Doctors are great! Thankful that this place is close by in Barrie.

First time here as a walk in.
This clinic is not a virtual dr by the way which is a bonus!

Please don't overwhelme the patient coordinator with a phone call although Lee-ann is amazing with picking up each phone call along with helping each walk in get settled in. When you walk in you must have a mask and sign in on the clipboard first come first serve. I noticed she moved the line very fast the wait is
aprox 40m-1 hour or so.

I usually don't leave reviews on clinics but she deserves this review. Most dr office have a miserable vibe. She's extremely friendly with laughter and smile and very effective with her job. Give this lady a raise or bring her something from the bakery next door which is also a cool place to check out!

By the way i was reading the 1star review about the receptionist, this is just my personal 5star review as im not lee-anns friend writting it i am just a walk in waiting my turn watching her at work. You can even come here stand for few minute and see shes actually friendly and greeting every client.

One person to help everybody! They advertise the shortest wait times in Barrie but you wait a long time just to get registered! No organization No Enough people working or able to help!
Doctor was ok

Receptionist is rude for no reason, first attempt at going and won't return! Don't work in customer service if your that rude!

I went in here with my mom because I had symptoms of a bladder infection and it was the closest to my house. Wrong move. We both went in the clinic and the receptionist was on the phone to and talking to what it seemed like a family member and we stood in front of the desk for 7 or 8 minutes before she acknowledged we were there. Then my mom asked how long the wait was and the lady said hold on and she started cleaning her desk. After that we told her why we were here and she asked to see my health card. At the time my health card was expired and we knew there was an extension on getting in renewed but I can still use it. The lady got mad and told us we can’t go see the doctors because of that and we showed her and she still wouldn’t let us. Right after that we went to the Huronia clinic and had no trouble at all with the expired health card. Lady needs to change jobs because she isn’t good at this one

After Reading all the bad reports about the receptionist at this location, I can only confirm that they are all true. The receptionist is always rude and unprofessional, both on the phone or in Person I don't Understand how come after so many years of bad reviews, the Owner/Manager still have her working here.
The good reviews given from some people are probably family and friends wanting to make her look good, Hopefully this helps her change her attitude or change career

The blonde lady who was doing reception was dreadful. I came to try and get an old prescription for my depression renewed and she was basically making me scream my medical information to a room full of people and then kept yelling “we don’t give narcotics here, you know that right? ” In front of a room people again. I wasn’t looking for narcotics, I was looking to get a prescription renewal on my SSRIs because my family dr is an hour away. I think she was acting like this because my shirt said “roof NOT tents Barrie”, so she assumed I was homeless or on drugs which is incredibly classist. I then asked the wait-time and she snapped “no wait-time, everyone in there is ahead of you” I ended up just walking out because she made me feel so anxious and uncomfortable and I was embarrassed because she kept making me yell my medical information in front of 20 people. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Very rude and unpleasant experience. The secretary at the entrance didn't let me ask a question just asked for name and let me wait for more than hour without any explanations.could answer and not be rude!

I was in this clinic for less than a minute and I’ll never go back. The blonde behind the desk is cold and rude. Clearly does not care about patients or their concerns. She should lose her job for the way she treats nervous patients. Don’t waste your time at this shady motel-side clinic.
